Disclaimer: I own no one from the Kingdom Hearts series. Riku's son,
Yamiki, however is mine. But I give permission for other authors to
use him in their fics as long as they send me a link so I can read
them, too.

-Chapter 4-
"Wish I could have an adventure," Yamiki complained as he combed his
father's hair. "I bet all I'll ever do is sit around reading some
stupid book."
"You, know, Yamiki," Riku pointed out, "right now there's someone out
there in a stormy gale on the high seas wishing he was home in front
of a nice roaring fire reading a book."
"Oh to be able to yearn for such things, rather than be weary of
them." Yamiki emoted putting down the brush and sitting in the other
chair. "I guess this'll be the end of your adventures."
"Not by a long shot," Riku smiled. "I have the feeling that more
adventures are to come. Especially with a son as restless for them as
you appear to be." He stood up and gazed at the door. "So, you ready
to walk your old man down the aisle?"
Yamiki grinned. "You betcha," he agreed.

Tidus and Wakka waved to Kairi and Selphie who joined them as they
waited for Riku.
Sora stood by the paopu tree, looking quite handsome in his cream and
beige keyblader outfit. Having not liked the idea of a tuxedo, or
even a suit, he'd decided to put on his enchanted keyblader clothing
and see what form it took at his wedding.
He was not disappointed. He gazed at the crowd as he waited, spotting
Riku's mom, who was smiling, and his father, who was scowling.
His own mother was smiling at him, and so were Tidus, Wakka, Kairi,
and Selphie.
They all turned as Yamiki led Riku down the pathway from the little
hut to the paopu tree.
Riku was wearing a white variation of an Organization XIII cloak with
turquoise trimming that matched his eyes, the hood serving as a veil.
"Who's that with Riku?" Tidus asked.
"That's right," Selphie remembered. "You and Wakka were on vacation
last week, so you haven't met Yamiki yet."
"Is he... green?"
Kairi nodded. "His mom was a foreigner."
"What about his dad?" Tidus asked.
Kairi shrugged. "He's marrying Sora."
"Riku?" Tidus asked. "That's impossible. They're both the same age."
He fell silent as he watched the marriage of two of his best friends,
cheering along with Wakka, Selphie, and Kairi as Sora leaned forward
and placed a tender kiss upon Riku's lips.
*****
Maleficent gazed from the topmost turret of her castle with a cup of
coffee in her hand.
"Riku's getting married today," she reminded herself. Oddly, the
thought didn't hurt as much as she thought it would. The memory of
the last night's dream flitted across her mind along with a name.
"Sephiroth," she whispered. Discarding her cup, she vanished from the
turret, determined to find him.
