After so long I finally get back on track Hearts requiem part 2. This first world I actaully had to do a lot of thinking to actually come up with how exactly to make it. It seems I can only make ideas for things when I'm not trying. Besides I wanted to get to a certain part on Strength's wake before I got back to this and if you read that story then you know what part I'm talking about. Now to start the show.
Life is a Highway
When the door opened a voice called for the person inside.
????: Lightning are you ready?
Lightning: Yeah.
A very shiny red race car emerged from the back of a transport truck. His appearance made the crowd roar loudly for their hero. An ace race car Lightning Mcqueen.
Lightning: Kechaw, Kechaw.
He shouted as he quickly turned to the side and shined his side mirror shaped like a lightning bolt. The crowd loved it.
Mya/Tya: Oh Lightning, Lightning we love you!
Lightning: I love you guys, too.
That line almost made the two fans faint where they stood. Lightning just chuckled and rode down to the race track and prepared to race. While the view turns to another direction.
Sora: We're freaking cars, man.
Sora become a race car red, black with yellow trimmings.
Sora: Whoa, I have Nitro.
Roxas: Why are you a race car and I'm Sable? That's not the type of car I wanted to be.
Roxas was silver all over, and golden at the top.
Sora: Whoa, even as a car you're hot Xerha.
Xerha: Thanks.
Xerha was a blue Corvette [Blue like her hair] but, Sora noticed that there was something about her never paid much attention to before. Her eyes were deep yellow. It reminded him of something but, he couldn't put his finger on it.
Sora: Anyway, Maybe we should ask someone about the others.
Roxas: Yeah but, all I see is cars and I still hear people.
Xerha: I get it.
Sora: Get what?
Xerha walked up to a car and tapped it and it turned to her.
Xerha: Sorry to bother you but, can you tell me where we are?
Car: You're at the Piston cup Grand prix. Who are you young lady?
Xerha: Sorry, my name is Xerha, and you sir?
Car: I am a race organizer. Hey isn't he a race car.
Sora: Huh?
Xerha: Yeah, I guess he is.
Car: Well then we need to get him on the track.
Sora: What? Wait!
Car: Do you have a pit crew?
Sora: Uh, no.
Car: Then we'll get you one com'n.
Then car went in behind Sora and pushed him onto the track.
Xerha: Have fun.
Roxas: This'll be good.
Xerha: Yes it will.
Meanwhile on the other side of the stadium.
Kairi: What are you guys doing?
Rikku: We're trying to figure out which one of these cars is Sora and the others.
Tidus: Yeah if we don't find him how will we be able to leave?
Paine: He has a point.
Kairi: Pfft Hahahahahahaha.
Yuna: Are you going to laugh every time you see us?
Kairi: It's just Pfft, you guys are RC cars.
Paine: Haha, shut up! I'll show you once we break this curse.
Tidus: Who cursed you guys anyway?
Rikku: Maleficent.
Riku: Maleficent, she cursed you?
Rikku: Yeah she said that she would break the curse if we work for her.
Yuna: We kind of got side tracked in this whole attack thing. Thanks to some duck!
Donald: Look, we apologized for that.
Goofy: But, that was kind of mean Donald.
Donald: Ok we'll find a way to get Maleficent to fix you guys.
Paine: Really? You'd do that?
Rikku: You must just be excited because then you'll be tall enough to make kissy faces with Leon.
Paine: Shut up Rikku!
Riku: What did I say?
Paine: Not you! Just keep looking!
Riku: Fine!
Riku was a silver race car with blue flames on the back. He wandered into the stadium and was looking for someone that might be Sora.
Xerha: Riku?
Riku: Xerha? Is that you? Guys I found Xerha!
He shouted calling all of the others to where he was and they came. But, before Riku could go over to Xerha he was stopped by the same race organizer that took Sora.
Car: Aren't you a race car?
Riku: Uh.
Xerha:Yeah, I guess he is.
Car: Well then come with me.
Riku: Hey wait.
Car: Do, you have a pit crew?
Riku: No I don't even know what's going on.
Car: Let's get you on the track and we'll arrange one for you.
The group looked on confused at what just happened while Xerha was smiling as Riku was taken away.
Xerha: Have fun.
Goofy: What just happened?
Roxas: He's gonna race.
Namine came from Kairi's body.
Namine: Roxas I finally found you.
Roxas: Yeah, but you guys must not have been looking too hard we were right back there.
Kairi: Where is Sora?
Roxas and Xerha just smiled and looked at the race track. Everyone got confused and looked down at the race. The cars were on their marks waiting for the race to start.
Chic: You're going down King, so are you Lightning, and I don't even know you but I'm taking you down too.
He said looking at Sora who was too nervous to even move.
Lightning: You should give it up Thunder.
Chic: Why did you call me "Thunder"?
Lightning: Because Thunder always comes after Lightning.
Everyone on the track and in the crowd started rolling with laughter while Sora was still wondering what he was going to do. Suddenly a car rolled up next to him. He smelled it, it smelled like HIM. Sora narrowed his eyes and looked over to the car next to him.
[Sora: Riku.]
Suddenly Riku caught a scent. It smelled, like HIM. Riku looked over to the car next to him with his eyes narrowed.
[Riku: Sora.]
While they were friends when there was no danger they took every chance they could get to prove which one of them was actually better. Sora looked at Riku as if challenging him and Riku returned the look. No words were said, they just revved their engines and waited for the light to turn green. Red, red, red, green the cars took off like rockets Sora leading the charge in first place making everyone wonder who the hell he was. Riku was in a close second but when they turned the corner The King took the lead ahead of them followed by Chic and then Lightning. Riku and Sora were coming in fourth and fifth.
Riku: I'll beat you!
Sora: Yeah right!
Their competitive nature against each other gave them a new burst of energy. They boosted ahead of the others and rode side by side in first place. After 298 laps the group were ready to finish this race mostly because it was getting tiresome.
Chic: Gettin' bored well let me livin' things up.
He said as he bumped a car against the wall causing him to swurve out of control causing a big wreckage. There was a cloud of smoke and wrecked cars were everywhere. Sora and Riku were dodging and weaving through the crowd but when they moved to the side two cars came at them so they bumped each other out of the way and made their way out of the wreckage. But, Lightning was still caught up he almost crashed but, Sora bumped him out of the and rode along side him.
Sora: Are you ok?
Lightning: I'm fine I was going to get out of that anyway.
Sora: Whatever man.
Lightning just sped back up to reclaim his place in third. While Sora and Riku just frowned at him then caught back up. After the lap was finished the cars made a pit stop but, Lightning stayed out to claim first place. Sora and Riku stayed out also to find themselves riding in first along side Lightning with Chic and The king riding right behind.
Lightning: This is it I'm gonna win the piston cup.
Sora: You're going down Riku.
Riku: You wish.
As they raced down the track something gave them a chill. They looked back only to see a giant Heartless about 60' feet tall running on all fours down the track. It was the heartless they had seen only yesterday.
Xerha: Mom!
Kairi: Who?
Xerha: The ruby heartless.
The Heartless ran and transform into a car as it sped down the track.
Sora: Oh no.
Riku: Run faster all of you.
Lightning: What the hell is that thing?
Sora: Don't worry about that now just run.
Chic and The King were pushed to the side by the heartless and it neared the three cars riding side by side and suddenly the front opened wide and it streched torward the cars ahead of it.
Sora: No we aren't fast enough.
Lightning: I was just about win too.
Riku: Will you stop worrying about winning we're about to die. And no you weren't.
Sora: Not now.
The heartless swallowed the three and vanished. The cars in the crowd were lost on what just happened and so was the rest of the group.
Xerha: Damn. There's more here.
Sure enough like she said more heartless cars showed up and started causing havoc among the crowd.
Xerha: Guys keep these ones under wraps I'll go get the others!
Kairi: So they're ok?
Xerha: Yeah for now.
Xerha turned to an empty space and opened her eyes wide. Her pupil disappeared making her eyes completely yellow and a dark rift appeared. [She remembered everything she can do]
Xerha: I'll be back!
Xerha said as she walked into the dark rift and it vanished.
Tidus: Great leave us here to handle the crazy thingies.
Donald: Forget it, just fight.
Tidus' sword appeared on the front of his grill and he drove forward thrusting it into a heartless right before he ripped it out through the side and swirved cutting into another.
Tidus: Let's do this!
Goofy: Man you'd think he's always been a car.
Yuna: Really.
Rikku: Let's do this! [Riku you'd better come back.]
Meanwhile the three cars had been teleported to a dark version of the stadium. The stands were still packed but, not with fans. The heartless looked on at them roaring hungrily.
Lightning: Where are we?
Sora: No idea.
Riku: This is bad.
They all looked back at the sight of the Ruby heartless standing at full size behind the stadium. The heartless seemed to be thrilled by the emergance of their leader. They jumped and screamed loudly.
Lightning: I don't like where this is going.
The ruby heartless placed it's hand on the ground and it formed into a human looking hand and the rest of the heartless formed into the shape of a blue haired woman.
Riku: So that is Xerha's mother?
Sora: Wait we don't want to fight.
The woman didn't stop walking at them she had no sense or mind. She was just a heartless. She pointed out her hand and Sora, Riku, and Lightning took human forms:
Lightning: What the hell? I'm all weird looking.
Lightning was 6'1 with red hair and blue eyes. He was stunned and scared but, his sight returned to the approaching woman.
Xerha: Move!
When the others looked back Xerha jumped at her mother and hit her with the keyblade. When she hit her she swung down and spun into a kick sending her mother flying.
Xerha: Queen Arlia of the realm of darkness, Mom. This has to end!
Riku: Well we'll end it later because have crowd full of angry fans.
Lightning: Can those words even be used in the same sentence?
Xerha: Right. Retreat!
The others ran for the gates of the stadium and the heartless gave chase. Lightning wasn't used to having legs so he tripped on the ground and was at the mercy of a random heartless. But, before it could do the deed Riku slashed it's head off and grabbed Lightning's hand leading him out of the stadium.
Xerha: Dark transformation.
Xerha pointed her hand at the others and they changed back into cars and raced out tthe gate speeding down the highway at speeds the heartless couldn't keep up with. Arlia looked on and smiled right before she burst into dust and flew into the air spreading into particles. Mean while the group had found a safe haven in the desert. Xerha had changed them back into humans. Lightning was trying to find out how to movve as a human while Xerha sat with her knees up to her chin with her arms folded around it.
Sora: What was that about?
Xerha: .....
Riku: Can you tell us?
Xerha: That was my mother she died a while back. Or as Zunark said it "she evolved".
Sora: What did he mean by evovle?
Xerha: You haven't figured it out yet?
Riku: Figured what out?
Xerha: Look at my eyes. Look hard! think about any possiblity!
Sora: What are you talking about?
Xerha sat back and sighed before continuing.
Xerha: I and my people are the same as heartless, actually we are heartless.
Sora/Riku: What?
Lightning had no clue what the hell they were talking about but, he figured that those dark things were heartless and that she said she was one of them all while thinking 'this is getting good better listen'.
Xerha: It shouldn't be that much of a suprise. I was born in the realm of darkness where the heartless are born. I am special though I have a heart. Heartless with hearts are considered the most powerful. We are called "Wholes".
Sora: "Wholes"?
Xerha: The most powerful Wholes are in my family. The royal family are the only ones capable of "evolving". The ritual is the act of ripping the heart from a Whole and making them a full heartless. Steps above any of the drones. After that they become brainless killing machines.
Lightning: So they are going to make you like your mother someday?
Everyone looked up shocked at Lightning.
Lightning: Hey I'm in this too I might as well know why I'm going to die.
Xerha shook off her shock and continued.
Xerha: Yeah that's basically it. I am going to be the strongest one they say.
Riku: Why is that?
Xerha pulled her keyblade and showed it to Riku.
Riku: Oh yeah it would be bad to have a heartless that could control every keyblade.
Sora: Does that mean you are a complete heartless?
Xerha: No, Wholes are the same as humans. Only difference is the origin like how I can command darkness when there is not a more powerful dark force around.
Lightning: So the more powerful force here right now is your mother?
Everyone was once again shocked at how much Lightning understood. It was strange that he got so much Sora barely understood it all.
Lightning: So then we'd better do something cause I don't wanna die yet. I still have to win my piston cup.
Xerha: I don't think that you should be worrying about that right now.
Sora: So how do we get out of here?
Xerha: The only way out now is to defeat Arlia.
Lightning: Are you serious? How the hell are we supposed to do that?
Xerha: There is a way. She is still a heartless and we have keyblades.
Riku: But, how do we fight her?
Xerha: Well first we get out of this little pickle.
The group turned to the side to find that the heartless had found them. There was a large group too.
Xerha: You, I never asked your name.
Lightning: Lightning Mcqueen.
Xerha: We're gonna need your help so are you willing to fight?
Lightning: Hell no, it's not like this is my fight.
Sora: You don't really have a choice man.
Lightning: How am I supposed to fight? I don't have one of those key things.
Xerha pointed her hand at Lightning and his hands turned to tires and then they suddenly changed back.
Lightning: What did you just do?
Xerha: I gave you control over your transformation. Use it to your advantage.
Lightning changed his hands back to tires and began to spin them and then he smiled at the heartless that was approaching him. Then he changed his legs into tires and sped over to the heartless. He punched forward into the heartless with his hands still spinning and it chipped away the heartless' body. Then he changed his hand and placed it on the ground lifting himself up into a spin kick that sliced through the heartless.
Lightning: Now this is what I'm talkin' about
Xerha: Boys!
Sora/Riku: Oh yeah.
Xerha: Cut through the small fry and retreat!
Xerha jumped forward and slashed downward at the crowd, then spun into a spinning slash ripping into another. Then Sora jumped on her keyblade and flipped down cutting a heartless down the middle and then he flipped back into another slash killing the heartless that had leapt at him from behind. While he was still hovering in the air Riku jumped up and landed on his feet. Sora pointed his keyblade at the heartless on the ground and Riku thrusted his feet launching Sora into the crowd. Sora cut through clearing path and when he landed he knocked back the heartless that were still coming for him. When Sora looked back he saw Lightning who had taken car form and was plowing through the heartless.
Lightning: Hop on.
Sora jumped on Lightning's back and Lightning turned his arms human, and hands to tires, and stuck them out at both sides as span ripping his way through the crowd as he drove. After cutting through Sora jumped off and saw Xerha fighting so he grabbed her hand, spun around, and let go sending her through the crowd even further. She pulled two keyblade and slashed at all sides she stabbed the chest of a heartless then pulled and swung it to the opposite side splitting another then she spun around cutting through three. As she continued to run Riku leapt over her and slashed the heartless in their front then he ducked low to the ground and slid with his keyblade ripping through their legs then he put his hand on the ground spun lauching himself upward and he spin slashed through the heartless and landed into the crowd that had shrunk in size drastically. One heartless jumped at him but, he put up his dark sheild and held it on the sheild until he stabbed into the heartless' stomache then ripped it downward. Then he swung it up from behind him and killed the heartless at his back then he spun around slashing three heartless at his front.
Sora: Ragnarok!
He said as he aimed his keyblade at the mob and eight beams shot from it cutting through the heartless crowd. Only two remained after the onslaught.
Xerha: Kill them before they change!
Sora ran at the heartless and flipped forward slashing down into the heartless. Then Riku grabbed his hand and spun him into a another slash killing the other one. Sora landed right in behind Riku and looked at the others. They all smiled and gave each other high fives.
Lightning: That was fun. We kicked their asses.
Sora: You were great Bolt.
Lightning: Bolt?
Sora: Yeah, Lightning Bolt.
Lightning: I kinda like that.
Xerha: We handled that well you guys.
She said jumping and hugging Sora.
Lightning/Riku: Hey where's our hug we fought too?
Xerha just looked back at them and chuckled.
Xerha: Ok here.
She walked over and hugged them both at the same time.
Xerha: Happy now?
Lightning/Riku: Guh guh ahhh.
Sora: Sounds to me like they're a little too happy.
He said through his laughter.
Xerha: We should get going now.
Riku: Yeah, you're right.
Lightning: But, where do we go?
Sora: I think we should go somewhere to make a strategy.
Lightning: You know maybe we could just go for it.
Xerha: That would be smart. We're going against a heartless that is levels above any of these things you see here.
????: That's right your highness.
Xerha: Neresa!?
He was floating the air walking down the sky as if he was walking down stairs torwards the group.
Neresa: But she pales in comparision to what you will become.
Xerha: I will never become one of them. I'll set my mother free.
Neresa: And this is the team that's going to help you?
Neresa pulled off his mask. He had glowing blue eyes and brown hair like Sora except there seemed to be more of it there.
Neresa: My opposite, Can you really trust Xerha?
Sora: I'm guessing you're refering to me. I trust her like I trust anyone else on my team.
Neresa: Do you really think that's wise? She is one of us.
Riku: She's not one of you!
Lightning: I don't know who you are but, I don't like you. I think you should leave before things get ugly.
Neresa: None of you are even in my league. I could just destroy you all now and take the queen by force but, girls like you need to be serenaded first.
Xerha: Do you have a reason for being here, or did you just come to make stupid jokes?
Neresa: There is only one way to defeat Queen Arlia is for you take her out in heartless form. If you fight her in Whole form she is invulnerable.
Xerha: Huh?
Neresa: But, in heartless form she will be more powerful, so be careful.
Xerha: Why are you helping us?
Neresa turned to Xerha and walked to her.
Xerha: What are you?
Sora: Keep your distance!
He said putting his keyblade to his throat.
Neresa: Do you really want to test me boy?
Riku: He's not alone!
Riku put his keyblade to his throat as well.
Lightning: He sure isn't. Back off!
Lightning put a tire to his throat.
Neresa: Is this how you treat a friend?
Sora: You're no friend of mine.
Xerha: Boys stand down. He won't try anything he's outnumbered.
The boys stepped back and Neresa continued to walk at Xerha until they stood face to face.
Neresa: You really have grown into quite a beauty.
Xerha: Compliments will get you nowhere.
Neresa: That old line huh? Brings back memories.
Xerha: Why are you helping us?
Neresa: It's not exactly in my best interests for you to become a heartless, my beautiful queen.
Neresa placed his hand on Xerha's face while the guys watched protectively.
Neresa: I would much rather you stay a whole.
He said pulling his face closer to hers. Xerha blushed deeply and turned her head from his lips.
Xerha: The part of me that loved you is gone. Take your leave.
Neresa: I understand my queen but, know this if you die I will kill all of those I've left you with.
Neresa turned to Sora, Riku, and Lightning.
Neresa: Do you understand that. If anything happens to Xerha I will kill you personally!
He shouted with intensity in his eyes. Then he started to walk away.
Neresa: I will continue to help you from the backgrounds and before you ask the others are not wise to me.
He walked passed Sora as the others ran to Xerha.
Neresa: Looks like she chose you, don't hurt her. Do you understand? [Understand is his favorite word]
Sora: I can't hurt her anymore than you guys have.
Neresa: Bold assumption boy. I'll see you later my opposite.
Neresa and Sora whispered to each other before Neresa walked off and Sora went to Xerha.
Sora: History there, huh?
Xerha: Yeah we grew up together. I don't want to go any deeper than that.
Sora: Right let's go guys.
Xerha ran to Sora and gripped his arm.
Xerha: I want to stay here a while.
Sora: Uh, ok. Guys let's rest here.
Lightning: Sure but, won't they come back if we stay in the same place they found us?
Riku: Nah, Heartless aren't that smart.
Lightning just shrugged and sat down. Within an hour only Xerha was awake, she was looking at the ground as if lost in thought.
Sora: Can't sleep?
Xerha: No.
She said breaking out into a smile as she looked at him.
Xerha: Sora you're still awake too. You must have waited so we could do "things".
Sora blushed at the acusation.
Sora: Nothing like that.
Xerha: I know, I was just joking. You're even cuter when you blush Sora.
They sat there queitly for a moment until...
Xerha: I was five when I met him...
Sora: Hold on where did this come from?
Xerha: You wanted to ask, I just saved you the trouble.
Sora: Well I just didn't know how to ask you.
Xerha: Well I was just five when I first saw him. He was appointed my bodygaurd, but it was strange. He was only seven, how could he gaurd me? But, he constantly proved himself he was always there for me whenever I needed him. When I turned ten there was an odd feeling floating around me. Then suddenly a key shaped object zoomed to my hands out of nowhere and it spoke to me it said "your destiny has changed". I didn't know what it meant but everyone kept saying that now I will be the ultimate heartless the "Omega".
Sora: "Omega"?
Xerha: I came to Neresa about the fact that I was afraid to go through with the ritual. I cried when I talked to him and he said "I'll protect you". But, suddenly we were attacked by Organization XIII. I was being taken away and Neresa just stood there. He didn't even try to help me. I was being held in the world that never was but, their leader set me free he said his name was "Ansem" and he took me to a place called Plateau Avevace. Suddenly I couldn't remember anything I was just being taken care of by Jesiah.
Sora: Jesiah?
Xerha: The person I called dad. He raised me. But, he isn't really my dad so it doesn't matter.
Sora: Xerha it doesn't matter if he was your real father or not. He raised you as best he could even though he wasn't your father. So he may not be your father but, he is your dad.
Xerha looked up and smiled at Sora.
Xerha: Thanks I feel a lot better. I guess I should just talk to you when I feel bad.
Sora: Well I'll always be here if you need me.
Xerha leaned in and kissed Sora right before standing up.
Xerha: Good night.
Sora blushed deeply and sat in the same stop not moving. While in the world of light the warriors had finished off the heartless when Kairi got a chill down her spine that made her shiver.
Goofy: What's wrong Kairi?
Kairi: I don't know but, I suddenly feel like I should kill Xerha.
Back in the world of darkness the group had woken up and were preparing to set off for battle.
Lightning: Ok I've gotten the hang of this body. But, I still don't know about this.
Xerha: Well if we stay here we're in danger anyway, so why don't we end it now. Dark transformation!
Xerha changed everyone into cars and they rode in the desert racing back to the stadium. But, they didn't know that Arlia wasn't there. In fact she was coming after them. The Dust particles she broke into reformed in behind them and she was running in Whole form. Nobody looked back they just kept driving.
Lightning: She's behind us isn't she?
Riku: Yep.
Lightning: Oh.
After a short moment they all sped up.
Lightning: We're gonna die.
Sora: No look she can't keep up with us. She'll have to change.
Lightning: That is not a good thing!
Xerha: Yeah it is. If she changes we can fight her.
And just like they thought Arlia changed into a her true form a large loin shaped heartless with huge fangs and claws. She charged at them making the ground quake with every step. She caught up quickly and took a snap at Lightning but, he drove out of the way. When Arlia looked back up Xerha was coming at her with her keyblade pulled back ready to strike. She reached Arlia's face and swung down hitting her and caused her to actually fall back momentarily. Then Arlia turned quickly and whipped Xerha with her tail sending her rolling to the ground and Xerha changed back to a car as she rolled and started driving once again. Lightning rode in between Arlia's legs and turned his body human and his arms to tires and he slashed into Arlia's ankles causing her to stumble forward a little and when she did Lightning rode under her and put his tires to her stomache and ripped through it as he rode along on his leg tires. When he got to her front she roared and slapped him with her front legs and went after him until Riku slapped his keyblade across her face. Then he did a back flip and hit the keyblade on her face again during his flip. Then Sora ran to Arlia's face and did a sideways spinning slash hitting her six times then followed with a right left four hit and a spinning power hit. [You would remember this from KH2.] Sora landed and changed back into a car and rode off to catch up with the others while Arlia picked herself up. She roared and sped after the four. She opened her mouth and breathed black fire at them and they barely managed to dodge.
Sora Trigger command.
Sora changed to Human form and stood looking back at Arlia. She ran at him and snapped down but he jumped over her head and landed on her head. Arlia shook around and tossed him in the air and opened her mouth waiting for his descent but, he wheeled out of the way and stabbed his keyblade into the bottom of her throat and dragged the keyblade through as he fell. When he hit the ground he looked up as Arlia roared and chomped down at him but, he rolled out of the way. Sora looked over to Xerha who was running at him and he held out his keyblade. Xerha saw the keyblade and jumped on it. Sora having her on the keyblade, launched her over Arlia's head and readied her keyblade on descent. When she came down she stabbed it into Arlia's head.
Xerha: Grappling Hook!
The beams shot from the keyblade and latched onto the ground pulling Arlia's head to the ground and sealing it there. [Yes I have been playing too much God of War.]While she was there they ran to her face and wasted no time attacking.
Xerha: Hit the weak spot!
Riku: Where?
Xerha: The spot on her head!
There was a giant red spot on top of Ruby's head. [Ruby's ruby, hence the name.] The group ran at it and began to attack it furiously. After a flurrly of hits Ruby began to scream loudly and when it opened it's mouth and fired a large ball of black fire at the group and sent them flying back rolling on the ground. When they looked back Arlia was breaking the hold on herself. Arlia pulled the beams from the ground and the keyblade flew back to Xerha and she grabbed and took the opprotunity to run, they were gonna need it. Arlia was furious she ran at them with beams shotting at them tracing their tracks and gaining distance.
Lightning: It's catching up to us.
Xerha: I've got a plan. Lightning you're race car right?
Lightning: Yeah.
Xerha: Keep her following your dust until you reach that canyon over there.
Lightning: You mean be decoy?
Xerha: Yeah think of it as training for the piston cup.
Lightning: Normally it wouldn't be that easy but, I get the feeling I don't really have a choice. What about you guys?
Xerha: We'll end this here.
Lightning: Good luck guys.
Xerha: Same to you.
Xerha wheeled over to the other boys.
Xerha: Follow me!
She said as she led them up the side of the cliff as Lightning kept Ruby following him.
Lightning: Com'n keep up if you can. [just a little further. I hope your plan works Xerha.]
Lightning led Arlia passed the canyon and when he did Xerha, Riku, and Sora rode off the cliff landing on Arlia's back.
Lightning: Now that's what I'm talking about.
Arlia became focused on the trio on her back driving up to her weak spot so Lightning took advantage by riding under her and slashing at her ankles causing her to fall.
Lightning: I leave the rest to you!!
He shouted loud enough for the others to hear as they drove on Arlia's back. When they got to her neck she began to fight back. She produced heartless from her back and they ran at the group.
Riku: Why didn't you tell us she could do that?
Xerha: Like I knew.
They group switched back to human form and ran at the heartless. Xerha flipped at one and slashed off it's head then hit the ground and slid forward looking back at Riku. He grabbed a heartless by the head and then impaled it with his keyblade before ripping it out from the side and spin slashing the next heartless coming at him. Sora jumped down and slashed a heartless down the middle and then thrusted his keyblade into a heartless and drove it through it's body as he continued moving forward. Then the others ran at his side as they kept heading for the front.
Xerha: This is getting complicated.
Riku: Yeah I wonder what Lightning is doing.
Lightning was at the bottom handling heartless of his own. With his feet and hands tires he kicked forward into a heartless and then spun around dragging his hand down into another right before he placed his hand on the ground and did a handstand spin kick ripping through the heartless behind him then he brought his upper body down and swept close to the ground cutting off the heartless' legs. Lightning stood back up and looked on Ruby's back before he started to ride up her side. When he got to the top he looked at the others and rode to them.
Lightning: Looks like you guys could use some help.
Sora: Lightning? How did you?
Lightning: Don't worry about it. I'll handle these things you guys go for her weak spot.
And with that said Lightning ran in behind them and wiped out the heartless coming after the group as they ran for the head and when they reached it they all stabbed their keyblades into the weak spot.
Xerha/Sora/Riku: Trinity.
A giant symbol appeared on Arlia's head and the light from the keyblades over took Ruby's body killing all of the heartless on her back. Lightning feeling like he was in danger jumped from Arlia's back and rolled to the ground.
Lightning: Whoa.
He looked at the sight of Arlia roaring in pain as the light blasted her into dust and she reformed into Whole form screaming loudly. She fell to the ground and rolled around in pain. Xerha's eyes teared up at the sight of her mother in such pain. The guys all looked at Xerha before turning back to Arlia. Arlia rolled to her feet and still breathing heavily she roared at the group before she turned to dust and flew into the air.
Lightning: Is she dead?
Xerha: No she just left. She needs time to recoperate but, she we will see her again. Not you though Lightning, this place should be safe.
Lightning: I'll hold you to that.
Xerha looked to the side and opened a dark rift and smiled at the others before they walked through it leaving the dark realm. Xerha looked up at the sky where her mother disappeared right before she walked through it too. Sora walked out and was greeted with kisses as Kairi held him tight.
Kairi: I was so scared. Are you ok?
Sora: Yeah I'm fine. I think we should leve before more heartless come looking for us.
Yuna: But what about that giant heartless?
Goofy: Yeah the one that came and gubbled you up.
Riku: It's not here anymore.
Xerha: Thanks for everything Lightning.
Lightning: Hey if I didn't help I would have gotten out either. I hope I see you guys again some day.
Sora: We'll be back sometime soon.
Lightning: Yeah just make sure you don't bring any of those heartless with you.
The three laughed while the others were confused not knowing what had happened while they were gone. After a few tire waves they rode off in search of the gummi ship. The found it near a place named Raidator Springs.
Namine: That looks like a nice place.
Rikku: Maybe we should visit it next time we're here.
Riku: Yeah.
Rikku: Riku.
Riku: Yeah?
Rikku: I'm glad you came back.
Tidus and Sora were looking at them making kissy noises.
Riku/Rikku: Shut up!
They said blushing deep red while the others laughed right before they all stepped into the Gummi ship and flew off.
Sora: This time we are going to get to Raidant Garden.
The group flew torwards Raidant Garden and landed on the launch pad there before they headed to the command center. But, they were completely taken back by the site. The entire place looked like a battle feild. They quickened their pace as Vasane watched from above them and smiled at the unsuspecting warriors.
Vasane: Queen you will go through with the ritual whether you want to or not. Continue to walk around in our little maze.
She turned around and walked back into a dark rift.
Vasane: Because your path leads to us anyway.

That was harder than I thought it would be because I had to think of how I was going to make Lightning. I didn't want to make him weak but, I didn't know how to make him strong I hope the power I gave him was good enough. I mean I liked it. Life is a Highway
When the door opened a voice called for the person inside.
????: Lightning are you ready?
Lightning: Yeah.
A very shiny red race car emerged from the back of a transport truck. His appearance made the crowd roar loudly for their hero. An ace race car Lightning Mcqueen.
Lightning: Kechaw, Kechaw.
He shouted as he quickly turned to the side and shined his side mirror shaped like a lightning bolt. The crowd loved it.
Mya/Tya: Oh Lightning, Lightning we love you!
Lightning: I love you guys, too.
That line almost made the two fans faint where they stood. Lightning just chuckled and rode down to the race track and prepared to race. While the view turns to another direction.
Sora: We're freaking cars, man.
Sora become a race car red, black with yellow trimmings.
Sora: Whoa, I have Nitro.
Roxas: Why are you a race car and I'm Sable? That's not the type of car I wanted to be.
Roxas was silver all over, and golden at the top.
Sora: Whoa, even as a car you're hot Xerha.
Xerha: Thanks.
Xerha was a blue Corvette [Blue like her hair] but, Sora noticed that there was something about her never paid much attention to before. Her eyes were deep yellow. It reminded him of something but, he couldn't put his finger on it.
Sora: Anyway, Maybe we should ask someone about the others.
Roxas: Yeah but, all I see is cars and I still hear people.
Xerha: I get it.
Sora: Get what?
Xerha walked up to a car and tapped it and it turned to her.
Xerha: Sorry to bother you but, can you tell me where we are?
Car: You're at the Piston cup Grand prix. Who are you young lady?
Xerha: Sorry, my name is Xerha, and you sir?
Car: I am a race organizer. Hey isn't he a race car.
Sora: Huh?
Xerha: Yeah, I guess he is.
Car: Well then we need to get him on the track.
Sora: What? Wait!
Car: Do you have a pit crew?
Sora: Uh, no.
Car: Then we'll get you one com'n.
Then car went in behind Sora and pushed him onto the track.
Xerha: Have fun.
Roxas: This'll be good.
Xerha: Yes it will.
Meanwhile on the other side of the stadium.
Kairi: What are you guys doing?
Rikku: We're trying to figure out which one of these cars is Sora and the others.
Tidus: Yeah if we don't find him how will we be able to leave?
Paine: He has a point.
Kairi: Pfft Hahahahahahaha.
Yuna: Are you going to laugh every time you see us?
Kairi: It's just Pfft, you guys are RC cars.
Paine: Haha, shut up! I'll show you once we break this curse.
Tidus: Who cursed you guys anyway?
Rikku: Maleficent.
Riku: Maleficent, she cursed you?
Rikku: Yeah she said that she would break the curse if we work for her.
Yuna: We kind of got side tracked in this whole attack thing. Thanks to some duck!
Donald: Look, we apologized for that.
Goofy: But, that was kind of mean Donald.
Donald: Ok we'll find a way to get Maleficent to fix you guys.
Paine: Really? You'd do that?
Rikku: You must just be excited because then you'll be tall enough to make kissy faces with Leon.
Paine: Shut up Rikku!
Riku: What did I say?
Paine: Not you! Just keep looking!
Riku: Fine!
Riku was a silver race car with blue flames on the back. He wandered into the stadium and was looking for someone that might be Sora.
Xerha: Riku?
Riku: Xerha? Is that you? Guys I found Xerha!
He shouted calling all of the others to where he was and they came. But, before Riku could go over to Xerha he was stopped by the same race organizer that took Sora.
Car: Aren't you a race car?
Riku: Uh.
Xerha:Yeah, I guess he is.
Car: Well then come with me.
Riku: Hey wait.
Car: Do, you have a pit crew?
Riku: No I don't even know what's going on.
Car: Let's get you on the track and we'll arrange one for you.
The group looked on confused at what just happened while Xerha was smiling as Riku was taken away.
Xerha: Have fun.
Goofy: What just happened?
Roxas: He's gonna race.
Namine came from Kairi's body.
Namine: Roxas I finally found you.
Roxas: Yeah, but you guys must not have been looking too hard we were right back there.
Kairi: Where is Sora?
Roxas and Xerha just smiled and looked at the race track. Everyone got confused and looked down at the race. The cars were on their marks waiting for the race to start.
Chic: You're going down King, so are you Lightning, and I don't even know you but I'm taking you down too.
He said looking at Sora who was too nervous to even move.
Lightning: You should give it up Thunder.
Chic: Why did you call me "Thunder"?
Lightning: Because Thunder always comes after Lightning.
Everyone on the track and in the crowd started rolling with laughter while Sora was still wondering what he was going to do. Suddenly a car rolled up next to him. He smelled it, it smelled like HIM. Sora narrowed his eyes and looked over to the car next to him.
[Sora: Riku.]
Suddenly Riku caught a scent. It smelled, like HIM. Riku looked over to the car next to him with his eyes narrowed.
[Riku: Sora.]
While they were friends when there was no danger they took every chance they could get to prove which one of them was actually better. Sora looked at Riku as if challenging him and Riku returned the look. No words were said, they just revved their engines and waited for the light to turn green. Red, red, red, green the cars took off like rockets Sora leading the charge in first place making everyone wonder who the hell he was. Riku was in a close second but when they turned the corner The King took the lead ahead of them followed by Chic and then Lightning. Riku and Sora were coming in fourth and fifth.
Riku: I'll beat you!
Sora: Yeah right!
Their competitive nature against each other gave them a new burst of energy. They boosted ahead of the others and rode side by side in first place. After 298 laps the group were ready to finish this race mostly because it was getting tiresome.
Chic: Gettin' bored well let me livin' things up.
He said as he bumped a car against the wall causing him to swurve out of control causing a big wreckage. There was a cloud of smoke and wrecked cars were everywhere. Sora and Riku were dodging and weaving through the crowd but when they moved to the side two cars came at them so they bumped each other out of the way and made their way out of the wreckage. But, Lightning was still caught up he almost crashed but, Sora bumped him out of the and rode along side him.
Sora: Are you ok?
Lightning: I'm fine I was going to get out of that anyway.
Sora: Whatever man.
Lightning just sped back up to reclaim his place in third. While Sora and Riku just frowned at him then caught back up. After the lap was finished the cars made a pit stop but, Lightning stayed out to claim first place. Sora and Riku stayed out also to find themselves riding in first along side Lightning with Chic and The king riding right behind.
Lightning: This is it I'm gonna win the piston cup.
Sora: You're going down Riku.
Riku: You wish.
As they raced down the track something gave them a chill. They looked back only to see a giant Heartless about 60' feet tall running on all fours down the track. It was the heartless they had seen only yesterday.
Xerha: Mom!
Kairi: Who?
Xerha: The ruby heartless.
The Heartless ran and transform into a car as it sped down the track.
Sora: Oh no.
Riku: Run faster all of you.
Lightning: What the hell is that thing?
Sora: Don't worry about that now just run.
Chic and The King were pushed to the side by the heartless and it neared the three cars riding side by side and suddenly the front opened wide and it streched torward the cars ahead of it.
Sora: No we aren't fast enough.
Lightning: I was just about win too.
Riku: Will you stop worrying about winning we're about to die. And no you weren't.
Sora: Not now.
The heartless swallowed the three and vanished. The cars in the crowd were lost on what just happened and so was the rest of the group.
Xerha: Damn. There's more here.
Sure enough like she said more heartless cars showed up and started causing havoc among the crowd.
Xerha: Guys keep these ones under wraps I'll go get the others!
Kairi: So they're ok?
Xerha: Yeah for now.
Xerha turned to an empty space and opened her eyes wide. Her pupil disappeared making her eyes completely yellow and a dark rift appeared. [She remembered everything she can do]
Xerha: I'll be back!
Xerha said as she walked into the dark rift and it vanished.
Tidus: Great leave us here to handle the crazy thingies.
Donald: Forget it, just fight.
Tidus' sword appeared on the front of his grill and he drove forward thrusting it into a heartless right before he ripped it out through the side and swirved cutting into another.
Tidus: Let's do this!
Goofy: Man you'd think he's always been a car.
Yuna: Really.
Rikku: Let's do this! [Riku you'd better come back.]
Meanwhile the three cars had been teleported to a dark version of the stadium. The stands were still packed but, not with fans. The heartless looked on at them roaring hungrily.
Lightning: Where are we?
Sora: No idea.
Riku: This is bad.
They all looked back at the sight of the Ruby heartless standing at full size behind the stadium. The heartless seemed to be thrilled by the emergance of their leader. They jumped and screamed loudly.
Lightning: I don't like where this is going.
The ruby heartless placed it's hand on the ground and it formed into a human looking hand and the rest of the heartless formed into the shape of a blue haired woman.
Riku: So that is Xerha's mother?
Sora: Wait we don't want to fight.
The woman didn't stop walking at them she had no sense or mind. She was just a heartless. She pointed out her hand and Sora, Riku, and Lightning took human forms:
Lightning: What the hell? I'm all weird looking.
Lightning was 6'1 with red hair and blue eyes. He was stunned and scared but, his sight returned to the approaching woman.
Xerha: Move!
When the others looked back Xerha jumped at her mother and hit her with the keyblade. When she hit her she swung down and spun into a kick sending her mother flying.
Xerha: Queen Arlia of the realm of darkness, Mom. This has to end!
Riku: Well we'll end it later because have crowd full of angry fans.
Lightning: Can those words even be used in the same sentence?
Xerha: Right. Retreat!
The others ran for the gates of the stadium and the heartless gave chase. Lightning wasn't used to having legs so he tripped on the ground and was at the mercy of a random heartless. But, before it could do the deed Riku slashed it's head off and grabbed Lightning's hand leading him out of the stadium.
Xerha: Dark transformation.
Xerha pointed her hand at the others and they changed back into cars and raced out tthe gate speeding down the highway at speeds the heartless couldn't keep up with. Arlia looked on and smiled right before she burst into dust and flew into the air spreading into particles. Mean while the group had found a safe haven in the desert. Xerha had changed them back into humans. Lightning was trying to find out how to movve as a human while Xerha sat with her knees up to her chin with her arms folded around it.
Sora: What was that about?
Xerha: .....
Riku: Can you tell us?
Xerha: That was my mother she died a while back. Or as Zunark said it "she evolved".
Sora: What did he mean by evovle?
Xerha: You haven't figured it out yet?
Riku: Figured what out?
Xerha: Look at my eyes. Look hard! think about any possiblity!
Sora: What are you talking about?
Xerha sat back and sighed before continuing.
Xerha: I and my people are the same as heartless, actually we are heartless.
Sora/Riku: What?
Lightning had no clue what the hell they were talking about but, he figured that those dark things were heartless and that she said she was one of them all while thinking 'this is getting good better listen'.
Xerha: It shouldn't be that much of a suprise. I was born in the realm of darkness where the heartless are born. I am special though I have a heart. Heartless with hearts are considered the most powerful. We are called "Wholes".
Sora: "Wholes"?
Xerha: The most powerful Wholes are in my family. The royal family are the only ones capable of "evolving". The ritual is the act of ripping the heart from a Whole and making them a full heartless. Steps above any of the drones. After that they become brainless killing machines.
Lightning: So they are going to make you like your mother someday?
Everyone looked up shocked at Lightning.
Lightning: Hey I'm in this too I might as well know why I'm going to die.
Xerha shook off her shock and continued.
Xerha: Yeah that's basically it. I am going to be the strongest one they say.
Riku: Why is that?
Xerha pulled her keyblade and showed it to Riku.
Riku: Oh yeah it would be bad to have a heartless that could control every keyblade.
Sora: Does that mean you are a complete heartless?
Xerha: No, Wholes are the same as humans. Only difference is the origin like how I can command darkness when there is not a more powerful dark force around.
Lightning: So the more powerful force here right now is your mother?
Everyone was once again shocked at how much Lightning understood. It was strange that he got so much Sora barely understood it all.
Lightning: So then we'd better do something cause I don't wanna die yet. I still have to win my piston cup.
Xerha: I don't think that you should be worrying about that right now.
Sora: So how do we get out of here?
Xerha: The only way out now is to defeat Arlia.
Lightning: Are you serious? How the hell are we supposed to do that?
Xerha: There is a way. She is still a heartless and we have keyblades.
Riku: But, how do we fight her?
Xerha: Well first we get out of this little pickle.
The group turned to the side to find that the heartless had found them. There was a large group too.
Xerha: You, I never asked your name.
Lightning: Lightning Mcqueen.
Xerha: We're gonna need your help so are you willing to fight?
Lightning: Hell no, it's not like this is my fight.
Sora: You don't really have a choice man.
Lightning: How am I supposed to fight? I don't have one of those key things.
Xerha pointed her hand at Lightning and his hands turned to tires and then they suddenly changed back.
Lightning: What did you just do?
Xerha: I gave you control over your transformation. Use it to your advantage.
Lightning changed his hands back to tires and began to spin them and then he smiled at the heartless that was approaching him. Then he changed his legs into tires and sped over to the heartless. He punched forward into the heartless with his hands still spinning and it chipped away the heartless' body. Then he changed his hand and placed it on the ground lifting himself up into a spin kick that sliced through the heartless.
Lightning: Now this is what I'm talkin' about
Xerha: Boys!
Sora/Riku: Oh yeah.
Xerha: Cut through the small fry and retreat!
Xerha jumped forward and slashed downward at the crowd, then spun into a spinning slash ripping into another. Then Sora jumped on her keyblade and flipped down cutting a heartless down the middle and then he flipped back into another slash killing the heartless that had leapt at him from behind. While he was still hovering in the air Riku jumped up and landed on his feet. Sora pointed his keyblade at the heartless on the ground and Riku thrusted his feet launching Sora into the crowd. Sora cut through clearing path and when he landed he knocked back the heartless that were still coming for him. When Sora looked back he saw Lightning who had taken car form and was plowing through the heartless.
Lightning: Hop on.
Sora jumped on Lightning's back and Lightning turned his arms human, and hands to tires, and stuck them out at both sides as span ripping his way through the crowd as he drove. After cutting through Sora jumped off and saw Xerha fighting so he grabbed her hand, spun around, and let go sending her through the crowd even further. She pulled two keyblade and slashed at all sides she stabbed the chest of a heartless then pulled and swung it to the opposite side splitting another then she spun around cutting through three. As she continued to run Riku leapt over her and slashed the heartless in their front then he ducked low to the ground and slid with his keyblade ripping through their legs then he put his hand on the ground spun lauching himself upward and he spin slashed through the heartless and landed into the crowd that had shrunk in size drastically. One heartless jumped at him but, he put up his dark sheild and held it on the sheild until he stabbed into the heartless' stomache then ripped it downward. Then he swung it up from behind him and killed the heartless at his back then he spun around slashing three heartless at his front.
Sora: Ragnarok!
He said as he aimed his keyblade at the mob and eight beams shot from it cutting through the heartless crowd. Only two remained after the onslaught.
Xerha: Kill them before they change!
Sora ran at the heartless and flipped forward slashing down into the heartless. Then Riku grabbed his hand and spun him into a another slash killing the other one. Sora landed right in behind Riku and looked at the others. They all smiled and gave each other high fives.
Lightning: That was fun. We kicked their asses.
Sora: You were great Bolt.
Lightning: Bolt?
Sora: Yeah, Lightning Bolt.
Lightning: I kinda like that.
Xerha: We handled that well you guys.
She said jumping and hugging Sora.
Lightning/Riku: Hey where's our hug we fought too?
Xerha just looked back at them and chuckled.
Xerha: Ok here.
She walked over and hugged them both at the same time.
Xerha: Happy now?
Lightning/Riku: Guh guh ahhh.
Sora: Sounds to me like they're a little too happy.
He said through his laughter.
Xerha: We should get going now.
Riku: Yeah, you're right.
Lightning: But, where do we go?
Sora: I think we should go somewhere to make a strategy.
Lightning: You know maybe we could just go for it.
Xerha: That would be smart. We're going against a heartless that is levels above any of these things you see here.
????: That's right your highness.
Xerha: Neresa!?
He was floating the air walking down the sky as if he was walking down stairs torwards the group.
Neresa: But she pales in comparision to what you will become.
Xerha: I will never become one of them. I'll set my mother free.
Neresa: And this is the team that's going to help you?
Neresa pulled off his mask. He had glowing blue eyes and brown hair like Sora except there seemed to be more of it there.
Neresa: My opposite, Can you really trust Xerha?
Sora: I'm guessing you're refering to me. I trust her like I trust anyone else on my team.
Neresa: Do you really think that's wise? She is one of us.
Riku: She's not one of you!
Lightning: I don't know who you are but, I don't like you. I think you should leave before things get ugly.
Neresa: None of you are even in my league. I could just destroy you all now and take the queen by force but, girls like you need to be serenaded first.
Xerha: Do you have a reason for being here, or did you just come to make stupid jokes?
Neresa: There is only one way to defeat Queen Arlia is for you take her out in heartless form. If you fight her in Whole form she is invulnerable.
Xerha: Huh?
Neresa: But, in heartless form she will be more powerful, so be careful.
Xerha: Why are you helping us?
Neresa turned to Xerha and walked to her.
Xerha: What are you?
Sora: Keep your distance!
He said putting his keyblade to his throat.
Neresa: Do you really want to test me boy?
Riku: He's not alone!
Riku put his keyblade to his throat as well.
Lightning: He sure isn't. Back off!
Lightning put a tire to his throat.
Neresa: Is this how you treat a friend?
Sora: You're no friend of mine.
Xerha: Boys stand down. He won't try anything he's outnumbered.
The boys stepped back and Neresa continued to walk at Xerha until they stood face to face.
Neresa: You really have grown into quite a beauty.
Xerha: Compliments will get you nowhere.
Neresa: That old line huh? Brings back memories.
Xerha: Why are you helping us?
Neresa: It's not exactly in my best interests for you to become a heartless, my beautiful queen.
Neresa placed his hand on Xerha's face while the guys watched protectively.
Neresa: I would much rather you stay a whole.
He said pulling his face closer to hers. Xerha blushed deeply and turned her head from his lips.
Xerha: The part of me that loved you is gone. Take your leave.
Neresa: I understand my queen but, know this if you die I will kill all of those I've left you with.
Neresa turned to Sora, Riku, and Lightning.
Neresa: Do you understand that. If anything happens to Xerha I will kill you personally!
He shouted with intensity in his eyes. Then he started to walk away.
Neresa: I will continue to help you from the backgrounds and before you ask the others are not wise to me.
He walked passed Sora as the others ran to Xerha.
Neresa: Looks like she chose you, don't hurt her. Do you understand? [Understand is his favorite word]
Sora: I can't hurt her anymore than you guys have.
Neresa: Bold assumption boy. I'll see you later my opposite.
Neresa and Sora whispered to each other before Neresa walked off and Sora went to Xerha.
Sora: History there, huh?
Xerha: Yeah we grew up together. I don't want to go any deeper than that.
Sora: Right let's go guys.
Xerha ran to Sora and gripped his arm.
Xerha: I want to stay here a while.
Sora: Uh, ok. Guys let's rest here.
Lightning: Sure but, won't they come back if we stay in the same place they found us?
Riku: Nah, Heartless aren't that smart.
Lightning just shrugged and sat down. Within an hour only Xerha was awake, she was looking at the ground as if lost in thought.
Sora: Can't sleep?
Xerha: No.
She said breaking out into a smile as she looked at him.
Xerha: Sora you're still awake too. You must have waited so we could do "things".
Sora blushed at the acusation.
Sora: Nothing like that.
Xerha: I know, I was just joking. You're even cuter when you blush Sora.
They sat there queitly for a moment until...
Xerha: I was five when I met him...
Sora: Hold on where did this come from?
Xerha: You wanted to ask, I just saved you the trouble.
Sora: Well I just didn't know how to ask you.
Xerha: Well I was just five when I first saw him. He was appointed my bodygaurd, but it was strange. He was only seven, how could he gaurd me? But, he constantly proved himself he was always there for me whenever I needed him. When I turned ten there was an odd feeling floating around me. Then suddenly a key shaped object zoomed to my hands out of nowhere and it spoke to me it said "your destiny has changed". I didn't know what it meant but everyone kept saying that now I will be the ultimate heartless the "Omega".
Sora: "Omega"?
Xerha: I came to Neresa about the fact that I was afraid to go through with the ritual. I cried when I talked to him and he said "I'll protect you". But, suddenly we were attacked by Organization XIII. I was being taken away and Neresa just stood there. He didn't even try to help me. I was being held in the world that never was but, their leader set me free he said his name was "Ansem" and he took me to a place called Plateau Avevace. Suddenly I couldn't remember anything I was just being taken care of by Jesiah.
Sora: Jesiah?
Xerha: The person I called dad. He raised me. But, he isn't really my dad so it doesn't matter.
Sora: Xerha it doesn't matter if he was your real father or not. He raised you as best he could even though he wasn't your father. So he may not be your father but, he is your dad.
Xerha looked up and smiled at Sora.
Xerha: Thanks I feel a lot better. I guess I should just talk to you when I feel bad.
Sora: Well I'll always be here if you need me.
Xerha leaned in and kissed Sora right before standing up.
Xerha: Good night.
Sora blushed deeply and sat in the same stop not moving. While in the world of light the warriors had finished off the heartless when Kairi got a chill down her spine that made her shiver.
Goofy: What's wrong Kairi?
Kairi: I don't know but, I suddenly feel like I should kill Xerha.
Back in the world of darkness the group had woken up and were preparing to set off for battle.
Lightning: Ok I've gotten the hang of this body. But, I still don't know about this.
Xerha: Well if we stay here we're in danger anyway, so why don't we end it now. Dark transformation!
Xerha changed everyone into cars and they rode in the desert racing back to the stadium. But, they didn't know that Arlia wasn't there. In fact she was coming after them. The Dust particles she broke into reformed in behind them and she was running in Whole form. Nobody looked back they just kept driving.
Lightning: She's behind us isn't she?
Riku: Yep.
Lightning: Oh.
After a short moment they all sped up.
Lightning: We're gonna die.
Sora: No look she can't keep up with us. She'll have to change.
Lightning: That is not a good thing!
Xerha: Yeah it is. If she changes we can fight her.
And just like they thought Arlia changed into a her true form a large loin shaped heartless with huge fangs and claws. She charged at them making the ground quake with every step. She caught up quickly and took a snap at Lightning but, he drove out of the way. When Arlia looked back up Xerha was coming at her with her keyblade pulled back ready to strike. She reached Arlia's face and swung down hitting her and caused her to actually fall back momentarily. Then Arlia turned quickly and whipped Xerha with her tail sending her rolling to the ground and Xerha changed back to a car as she rolled and started driving once again. Lightning rode in between Arlia's legs and turned his body human and his arms to tires and he slashed into Arlia's ankles causing her to stumble forward a little and when she did Lightning rode under her and put his tires to her stomache and ripped through it as he rode along on his leg tires. When he got to her front she roared and slapped him with her front legs and went after him until Riku slapped his keyblade across her face. Then he did a back flip and hit the keyblade on her face again during his flip. Then Sora ran to Arlia's face and did a sideways spinning slash hitting her six times then followed with a right left four hit and a spinning power hit. [You would remember this from KH2.] Sora landed and changed back into a car and rode off to catch up with the others while Arlia picked herself up. She roared and sped after the four. She opened her mouth and breathed black fire at them and they barely managed to dodge.
Sora Trigger command.
Sora changed to Human form and stood looking back at Arlia. She ran at him and snapped down but he jumped over her head and landed on her head. Arlia shook around and tossed him in the air and opened her mouth waiting for his descent but, he wheeled out of the way and stabbed his keyblade into the bottom of her throat and dragged the keyblade through as he fell. When he hit the ground he looked up as Arlia roared and chomped down at him but, he rolled out of the way. Sora looked over to Xerha who was running at him and he held out his keyblade. Xerha saw the keyblade and jumped on it. Sora having her on the keyblade, launched her over Arlia's head and readied her keyblade on descent. When she came down she stabbed it into Arlia's head.
Xerha: Grappling Hook!
The beams shot from the keyblade and latched onto the ground pulling Arlia's head to the ground and sealing it there. [Yes I have been playing too much God of War.]While she was there they ran to her face and wasted no time attacking.
Xerha: Hit the weak spot!
Riku: Where?
Xerha: The spot on her head!
There was a giant red spot on top of Ruby's head. [Ruby's ruby, hence the name.] The group ran at it and began to attack it furiously. After a flurrly of hits Ruby began to scream loudly and when it opened it's mouth and fired a large ball of black fire at the group and sent them flying back rolling on the ground. When they looked back Arlia was breaking the hold on herself. Arlia pulled the beams from the ground and the keyblade flew back to Xerha and she grabbed and took the opprotunity to run, they were gonna need it. Arlia was furious she ran at them with beams shotting at them tracing their tracks and gaining distance.
Lightning: It's catching up to us.
Xerha: I've got a plan. Lightning you're race car right?
Lightning: Yeah.
Xerha: Keep her following your dust until you reach that canyon over there.
Lightning: You mean be decoy?
Xerha: Yeah think of it as training for the piston cup.
Lightning: Normally it wouldn't be that easy but, I get the feeling I don't really have a choice. What about you guys?
Xerha: We'll end this here.
Lightning: Good luck guys.
Xerha: Same to you.
Xerha wheeled over to the other boys.
Xerha: Follow me!
She said as she led them up the side of the cliff as Lightning kept Ruby following him.
Lightning: Com'n keep up if you can. [just a little further. I hope your plan works Xerha.]
Lightning led Arlia passed the canyon and when he did Xerha, Riku, and Sora rode off the cliff landing on Arlia's back.
Lightning: Now that's what I'm talking about.
Arlia became focused on the trio on her back driving up to her weak spot so Lightning took advantage by riding under her and slashing at her ankles causing her to fall.
Lightning: I leave the rest to you!!
He shouted loud enough for the others to hear as they drove on Arlia's back. When they got to her neck she began to fight back. She produced heartless from her back and they ran at the group.
Riku: Why didn't you tell us she could do that?
Xerha: Like I knew.
They group switched back to human form and ran at the heartless. Xerha flipped at one and slashed off it's head then hit the ground and slid forward looking back at Riku. He grabbed a heartless by the head and then impaled it with his keyblade before ripping it out from the side and spin slashing the next heartless coming at him. Sora jumped down and slashed a heartless down the middle and then thrusted his keyblade into a heartless and drove it through it's body as he continued moving forward. Then the others ran at his side as they kept heading for the front.
Xerha: This is getting complicated.
Riku: Yeah I wonder what Lightning is doing.
Lightning was at the bottom handling heartless of his own. With his feet and hands tires he kicked forward into a heartless and then spun around dragging his hand down into another right before he placed his hand on the ground and did a handstand spin kick ripping through the heartless behind him then he brought his upper body down and swept close to the ground cutting off the heartless' legs. Lightning stood back up and looked on Ruby's back before he started to ride up her side. When he got to the top he looked at the others and rode to them.
Lightning: Looks like you guys could use some help.
Sora: Lightning? How did you?
Lightning: Don't worry about it. I'll handle these things you guys go for her weak spot.
And with that said Lightning ran in behind them and wiped out the heartless coming after the group as they ran for the head and when they reached it they all stabbed their keyblades into the weak spot.
Xerha/Sora/Riku: Trinity.
A giant symbol appeared on Arlia's head and the light from the keyblades over took Ruby's body killing all of the heartless on her back. Lightning feeling like he was in danger jumped from Arlia's back and rolled to the ground.
Lightning: Whoa.
He looked at the sight of Arlia roaring in pain as the light blasted her into dust and she reformed into Whole form screaming loudly. She fell to the ground and rolled around in pain. Xerha's eyes teared up at the sight of her mother in such pain. The guys all looked at Xerha before turning back to Arlia. Arlia rolled to her feet and still breathing heavily she roared at the group before she turned to dust and flew into the air.
Lightning: Is she dead?
Xerha: No she just left. She needs time to recoperate but, she we will see her again. Not you though Lightning, this place should be safe.
Lightning: I'll hold you to that.
Xerha looked to the side and opened a dark rift and smiled at the others before they walked through it leaving the dark realm. Xerha looked up at the sky where her mother disappeared right before she walked through it too. Sora walked out and was greeted with kisses as Kairi held him tight.
Kairi: I was so scared. Are you ok?
Sora: Yeah I'm fine. I think we should leve before more heartless come looking for us.
Yuna: But what about that giant heartless?
Goofy: Yeah the one that came and gubbled you up.
Riku: It's not here anymore.
Xerha: Thanks for everything Lightning.
Lightning: Hey if I didn't help I would have gotten out either. I hope I see you guys again some day.
Sora: We'll be back sometime soon.
Lightning: Yeah just make sure you don't bring any of those heartless with you.
The three laughed while the others were confused not knowing what had happened while they were gone. After a few tire waves they rode off in search of the gummi ship. The found it near a place named Raidator Springs.
Namine: That looks like a nice place.
Rikku: Maybe we should visit it next time we're here.
Riku: Yeah.
Rikku: Riku.
Riku: Yeah?
Rikku: I'm glad you came back.
Tidus and Sora were looking at them making kissy noises.
Riku/Rikku: Shut up!
They said blushing deep red while the others laughed right before they all stepped into the Gummi ship and flew off.
Sora: This time we are going to get to Raidant Garden.
The group flew torwards Raidant Garden and landed on the launch pad there before they headed to the command center. But, they were completely taken back by the site. The entire place looked like a battle feild. They quickened their pace as Vasane watched from above them and smiled at the unsuspecting warriors.
Vasane: Queen you will go through with the ritual whether you want to or not. Continue to walk around in our little maze.
She turned around and walked back into a dark rift.
Vasane: Because your path leads to us anyway.

That was harder than I thought it would be because I had to think of how I was going to make Lightning. I didn't want to make him weak but, I didn't know how to make him strong I hope the power I gave him was good enough. I mean I liked it.
