Chapter 2

"What's going on Braig", a little girl asked a male that was older than her. He had greying hair in a ponytail, and said, "Hey there Jackie. Didn't expect to see
you until later. Caught this outside and I'm taking it to Even." "Okay", the little girl called Jackie said, "I'll go see if Ansem wants me to do anything."

I was sitting on the ground, and the new guy had a gloved hand on my left shoulder. "I'm Xigbar", he said, removing his hood and revealing a scarred face
wearing a black eyepatch. His hair was greying and in a ponytail. I tried to stand up, but he held me firm to the ground by adding pressure to my shoulder.
"Maybe we should bring her with us", Xaldin said to Xigbar. "Why not", Xigbar said, "Besides, the Superior wants to know if there is anybody here that has
any special features on them." At that, Xigbar made a gesture at my ears and tail. After he said that, Xigbar hoisted me to my feet, and we both portaled in
the same portal to where they lived.

When we exited the portal, I saw that we were in a room that had a white loveseat, couch, and chair. "You are to stay here until you are told otherwise",
Xigbar said to me, "Do you understand?" I nodded and he then continued talking. "That is the bedroom and that is the bathroom", he said while pointing to
each in turn. He then walked out the door that was obviously the exit to the room that I was in, and wondered if this place was like a motel.
I walked into the bedroom and saw that there was a spacious walk-in closet that was empty. I wondered of what else there was, so I walked from the closet
and saw that there was a white queen size bed. By the bed, there were two white bed side tables that had three drawers in each.
I then wandered out of the bedroom and sat on the chair. "I might as well wait and see whats going on", I said to myself. I was bored out of my mind, and I
was wondering of what I was going to do. "I guess that this is what I get for having half of a heart instead of a whole heart", I said to myself, "That and my
scar."
I shifted positions in the chair from sitting right in it to sleeping in said chair with my legs dangling down one side of the chair. I was tired, can you blame
me?

Two hours later, I heard the door open and quickly opened my eyes. Who I saw was Xigbar, and he came back wearing a black tank top and dark blue jeans.
He sort of laughed when he saw me falling on my side out of surprise.
I got up quickly, and I saw that someone was behind him. This person had dirty-blonde hair that looked like it reached the midddle of his back. His eyes
were a dark blue, like sapphire with onyx swirls in it, and he looked me up and down, like I was some frog for him to disect. He looked to me like he was
Even. Oh no, I thought to my self, Black out. I then fell to the floor, my vision fading.
