Chapter Nine: He's Mine
Sora yawned, blinking slowly as he sat up. He looked around the room and didn't recognize a thing. Where am I? He thought. Sora heard a groaning noise and looked over to see a silver ball next to him. It took him a second to remember everything that happened last night and that the silver ball was actually the top of Riku's head.
Sora looked over at the window to see that the sun was completely blocked by the blinds and the curtains. Explains why I'm not ash right now…I can't believe we did that… And at the same time, he did want to believe it. He didn't want it to be a dream and he had actually just fallen asleep on Riku's bed.
Sora decided it was time for Riku to wake up. “Riku.” Sora said, shaking him. Riku just grumbled and tried to push his hands away. “Riku, wake up!” Sora said a bit more loudly this time. “What is it?” Riku said, opening his eyes, glaring at whoever woke him up. The glare went away though, when he saw it was Sora.
“Oh it's you Sora. What's up?” “Riku, do you remember what happened last night? It wasn't a dream right?” Riku looked confused for a moment. “What…oh. No, it wasn't a dream. Why, did you want it to be?” although he didn't mean to, that last sentence came out somewhat sad.
“No! I was just wanted to make sure.” Sora hugged his new lover tightly. “Last night was…well, I can't think of a word good enough to describe it.” Riku chuckled and hugged him back. “I'm sure all the moaning you did last night covered it.” Sora blushed and punched Riku's arm. “Oh shut up.” “Okay, I wanted to do something else anyway…” Sora eeped as Riku pushed him down onto the bed. Sora moaned softly as Riku kissed his neck. “Well, I guess this is fine…” Riku made an affirmative noise while sucking on Sora's skin.

“Riku, haven't we done this enough today?” Sora said in-between kisses. “No.” Riku said, pinning Sora against the wall and capturing his lips again. “Riku, I need to shower.” “Why you smell fine to me.” Sora chuckled and pushed his eager lover off. “Maybe to you, but I reek.” “Fine, but if you don't hurry up, I might have to molest you while you're in there.” “Yeah, yeah.” Sora said, waving his hand. He walked inside the bathroom and promptly stripped down.
Riku walked over to his bed and started to fix it. “Did you enjoy the show?” He said, not turning around. “Not really.” Kairi said, glaring at Riku as he turned around. “What do you want with Sora?” “I should be asking you that. Let me inform you now: Sora's my boyfriend. We're going to get married soon and I won't let a pathetic human get in my way.” Riku chuckled, completely ignoring Kairi's glare. “Looks like you missed your chance. Sora's my boyfriend. And he seems to be pretty happy with a pathetic human like me.”
Kairi didn't look like she cared. “That's what you say. I'd ask Sora, but I won't bother him such a trivial matter such as this. I'll just kill you and Sora will forget all about you.” “You're crazy.” “I am not!” Kairi said, trying to punch Riku in the face. Riku dodged and pushed Kairi backwards. Kairi yelped as she landed on her butt.
“Don't underestimate me!” Kairi said, pulling out a dagger. “Put that down before you hurt yourself.” Kairi ignored him and charged at Riku, moving so fast she seemed to disappear before Riku's eyes. Where did she go?
Sora couldn't hear the argument outside because of the shower. I need to tell Riku to fix this thing. It sounds like a waterfall. He sighed and turned the knob higher up to the `H', steam rolling out from behind the curtain. Sora did hear the sound of a very pained scream. What was that? He turned off the water, stepped out, and wrapped a towel around his waist, not caring that he was dripping water.
Damn, this bitch got me. Riku thought, looking down at the dagger in his stomach. “I told you I would win. Sora's mine human.” “Fuck you bitch.” The words were hard for Riku to say, but he felt better saying them. “Kairi?” Kairi turned to see Sora staring at her with a mix of shock and confusion on his face. “Oh hi Sora honey.” Kairi said, her voice syrupy-sweet.
Kairi walked over and gave him a hug. “Kairi what happened to Riku?” Sora said, lightly pushing her away. “Umm…I don't know. He was like that when I came in here.” “The hell I was!” Riku said, wincing as he doubled over in pain. “That fucking whore stabbed me!” “I'm not a whore!” Kairi said, detaching herself from Sora and hitting Riku on the head.
“Kairi stop that!” Sora said, grabbing her wrist before she could hit him again. “Ouch Sora!” Kairi said, trying to tug her wrist free. “That doesn't hurt and you know it. Did you hurt Riku?” Kairi didn't answer. “Kairi, I order you to answer me.” “You can't order me around! You may be the Prince of the Vampires, but I'm your mate! We're equals!” “We're not mates yet Kairi. Now answer the damn question!” Kairi looked mad, but at the moment Sora didn't care.
“What do you care anyway? Now that this stupid human is out of the way we can be together! He must have corrupted you or something, you never this mean to me before.” Sora gripped her wrist tighter and Kairi whimpered. “News flash Kairi: I never liked you. At all. I don't want to be your mate and I want you to leave me and Riku alone.”
Kairi sniffled as tears sprang to her eyes. “Sora, you can't mean that.” “I do. Leave me alone. I hate you.” Sora let go of her wrist and Kairi looked at him one final time. “Fine Sora, but you'll regret this.” And then she left. Sora looked back over at Riku and frowned.
“Riku, this is gonna hurt, but I have to take that dagger out.” Riku only nodded, lying down on the bed to make it easier. Sora pulled it out as fast as he could, feeling bad when Riku swore, even though it wasn't directed at him. “I'm sorry about this Riku.” “It's not your fault she's a crazy ass bitch.” Sora couldn't help but chuckle. “I guess not.”
