I woke up next in the middle of the night. I suppose that's to be expected, considering how much I've been sleeping. Gingerly getting to my feet, I walked out the door, following the torch light to the bathroom next door, intent on going to the bathroom. Once I'd finished my business and washed my hands, I made my way back to my bed, only to stop outside the door at the sound of voices drifting down the hall.

Curious, I quietly followed the voices down the hallway back to the stairs that lead up to the dining room. From there, I could make out Sheik's and Aunt Beast's voice. I might've been satisfied with knowing who it was, but then I heard Aunt Beast say my name. They're talking about me? Slipping up the stairs, I followed the voices to another hall and to a door about halfway down the hall. Stopping outside the door, I could hear their voices clearly.

“You're certain he's the one?”

“Of course. They're all a part of this.”

“But what if you're wrong, Aunt Beast?”

“I would love to say I am Princess, but the prophecy is clear. One will light the way with two at his side, four at his back, and an army behind them. Together, one will counter many and few and bring light back to the darkness.”

“But we still don't know who the two, four, or the army are?”

“No. But he is the one. You must sense it Princess Zelda.”

“I do… but it seems cruel to expect so much from him… even Link's fate seems tame… at least he didn't lose who he is to it.”

“I do not think he will lose himself, but gain much, Princess Zelda. You must prepare him for what lies ahead.”

“…I know. I will take him there tomorrow. Have you been able to see any more of what Ganondorf is doing about the Prophecy?”

“No. He still believes himself to be the one and is trying to get rid of any possible threats to that position.”

“He will be in danger then.”

“Yes. But he will face it and prevail.”

I pulled back, deciding I'd heard enough. I wasn't really sure what they were talking about, but whatever it was, it seemed beyond me. I slipped back to the stairs and went back to bed, thoughts swimming through my head about the `one' and whatever danger he was supposed to face.

Shrugging, I turned in bed and felt sleep claim me, and as usual, I didn't dream.
