Chapter one - Elegy of confusion

Five Years Later

At Mid Night

In a Meadow On the one Barren Headstone Island redecorated by it’s only inhabitant Medli the Sage of the Earth Temple that Dwells beneath the Island She was sitting On the highest point on the island which she couldn’t be seen from at night. ‘What a lovely Spring breeze this time of night’ She Thought as she looked towards the Full moon ,Which Illuminated her Beautiful Ruby Eyes. Laruto appeared beside her.

“ You still have things to learn my child and I Know he’ll Come back for you he’s not the one to break a promise trust me” she said shocking Medli.

~ You need to stop worrying about it, it’ll give you wrinkles my, dear and I don’t Link would like that beautiful face to disappear~.

Medli started glaring at that comment thinking her love Link would never leave her.

~Or maybe he’s already dead or couldn’t make it back~ Laruto said as plain as day but only Medli could hear her.

she sank lower into her knees and was about to start crying ~why are you picking on me like this~ she retorted swinging her head up her eyes giving off an eerie glow as they shimmered in the moonlight.

Feeling guilty Laruto hung her head down and sighed.

~well~ Medli said waiting for an answer. Laruto lifted her head and clearly responded ~Because I’m jealous.~

Medli tries to hold back her laughter ~ are you serious, you’re a ghost , you can’t be in love with Link~ this time Laruto got mad and Flew right Through Medli’s body causing her to Fall to her Knees. Speaking aloud this time “Don’t do that, you know that makes me queasy” Medli said clutching her mouth.

Meanwhile during the argument, to the South of the Island a small boat zipping by being followed, More like shot at. It was small with a cloaked figure working the rudder and the sail, while being chased by a huge ship filled with blood thristy pirates. The owner was chasing the boat to payback the owner for a mishap. After dodging one of the bomb’s the cloaked figure slowed down while drawing his blade and a shimmering shield. He jumped into the air landing on the bow of the ship his eyes giving off any icy blue glare from under the hood, crouching down, his sword gleemed in the moon light as he drew back his sword and it started glowing orange and in a flash, an orange tornado radiated from it as the Figure in a bloodcurdling scream, swung the sword Slicing the ship in half. The cloaked figure jumped back to his damaged ship sheathed his sword and sailed off for Head stone. He looked at the moon which only illuminated His Emerald eyes ‘it’s good to be back home’ the figure thought as he sailed along on his merry way.

?’s POV

“I never thought I would see the end of those pirates, it took a lot out of my ship” I said to myself as I took a good look at the Damages done to my boat.

I look out to the sea Trying to spot something in the Distance “ahh there it is!!” I said as headstone Island came into view. I decided to pick up speed so I can check my wounds. I pull up to the Island, get out, and check my surroundings to see the barren island covered with an arrangement of different flowers.

“Heh, Looks like Medli’s Been redecorating” I retorted as I walked up to the entrance of the cave. I stoppped to get one last look before entering and as I turned around taking down my hood so I can let my hair flow with the Breeze, the entrance dissappears “what the hell, where'd the entrance go” I yelled as I turn around to see A rock twice the size of that damn bird with the mask.

By Instinct I pulled out my sword and sliceed the rock in half like a knife through butter. I thought about what kind of monster threw rocks that big and I started getting scared shitless.

Regular POV

2 minutes earlier

Medli sat back at her usual spot and held a pendant that was given to her by Link that belonged to his mother. ‘I hope he gets back safely’ she thought as she caught glimpse of a red boat next to the shore and a cloaked figure getting out ‘Oh my god a pirate, I’ve got to protect the temple’ she thought as the figure walked up to the entrance.

Little did she know that The Cloaked Figure was about to give her an unexpected surprise. She jump off taking flight and gilded in the air willing the door shut before she chucked a Giant Rock at the intruder. The intruder turned around drawing shield & sword and sliced the Rock in half. she lands surprised and scared that someone could do that she held out her hand and willed another rock into the airand waited for the smoke to clear to see the cloaked figure without his hood at first she smiled cause he was frighten but soon turned bright red when she realized who it was when he addressed her.

the Cloaked waited for the smoke to clear so he could see the attacker ‘It must be really big’ he thought as it finally cleared then his Jaw dropped as he realized his attacker was Medli. He dropped his guard and shouted “why the HELL ARE YOU THROWING ROCKS AT ME”.

Medli became startled at that response and the sound of his voice realizing it was link “I'm sorry Link I didn’t know it was you I thought you were a pirate” Medli said Blushing.

Link looking offended “Why would you compare me to Tetra when you of all people should have recognized me from the way the head on the boat looks I mean there is no other boat like it” he said as Medli walked up to him. she glanced back at the almost destroyed boat as it started sinking

“What head and I think your boat's sinking “she said looking back at link.

He shot a glance at the boat ‘she right ’ he thought “oh yeah It got shot off when I barely dodged a cannonball, almost got my head took off too by a galleon, wait it’s sink.... ing…. Oh Shit and I was going to give that to sis too” Link shouted as he ran to the sinking boat, medli pulled it out of the water with her powers “ thanks Medli” Link responds with gratitude as he lifts the boat off the rock and places it on the sand bar.

Link stands at attention and turns around, medli realizing the same ran at him and jumps up as he puts the boat down throws her arms around his neck. "I can't believe it's you".

Link starts to blush as she smiles seductively saying “Aren't you forgetting something hero” he pulls her in and kisses her on the lips playfully licks her lips which tastes like Cherry to grant access to her mouth, she gladly accepted and while she ran her fingers through his hair, she felt his tongue dance with hers.

He breaks the kiss as he comes up for air the taste of cherry lingered on his tongue, He started feeling dazed and exhausted.

“Come on link I’ll fix you something to eat” the rito beckons as she lets go and starts walk off fluidly to the temple grabbing his hand as she went merrily. He takes two steps his vision begins blurring. Moving sluggishly he falls over subsiding to his wounds and falling unconcious.

Medli falls back as link fell “oomph! Link are you okay, huh...” she gazes down at her hand, a stream of blood running down it and looks at link to noticing his wounds. Medli clutches link in her arms “oh no LINK answer me , LINK come on now, link...LINK...LIINNKK!”Medli tries to drag him inside.
