Chapter Three: “Stop looking at me like that!!!”

 

The Hina girls were in the dinning area, plotting new ways to remove the presence of the “perverts.” Mitsune was still talking about “the sexy Maxi” and Motoko and Naru were talking about Tyson and Kai, the biggest “perverts” and how to get rid of them. Kaolla was sat in the corner with Sara, who came over to visit, making robots to tease Kenny. Shinobu was thinking about Kai. Just imagining him and her under the sunlight on a large beach all alone on a desert island. Stuck deep in her thoughts she was smiling and blushing with her eyes nearly clenched in an adorable way. Mutsumi had fainted again so she was on the floor. Naru looked over to Shinobu and saw her trance.

“Shinobu are you alright? You look red, do you have a fever?” She asked concerned. Shinobu snapped out of her dream and looked over.

“Oh, Naru… I'm fine… please, don't worry about me.” Shinobu shyly said as she was blushing.

“Okay, as long as you're alright.” Naru said.

“I told you, I am fine.” Shinobu said, trying to shake any suspicion of her crush. She stood up and rushed off to the stairs. Naru was getting suspicious.

“There is definitely something wrong.” Naru said.

 

Shinobu ran up the stairs and straight to her room. Inside she closed the door, the curtains and lights were off so she couldn't see much. She walked over to her desk, holding her hands out below to make sure not to crash into anything and be humiliated. She found her chair at her desk and she sat down in it. She reached out for the lamp and her wrist collided with it. She clicked it on and a luminous light shone on the desk in front of her. She pulled out one of the cabinets on the desk and pulled out a brand new sketchbook she was given when she went out with Kai. She got a pencil and opened the book to a blank page. She began her sketch, starting off with a curvy line, going into a straight, going down the page. She made a sharp bump and continued to go down the page and made two more bumps. She finished off by curving off to the left. She then started on the other side and did the same only the other way around. She did the same only the sharp bump on the right went under the one on the left. Shinobu began putting in the detail of the eye on the left character. It was closed patiently. Shinobu then began work at the other eye on the other character. She finished that off with a more manly appearance to it. She began detail on the hair of each character. Knock, knock, knock. Shinobu took notice of the door.

“Who's there?” She asked.

“Hey sweetie, it's just Mitsune. I just wanted to know if ya all wanted to come out to the town with Naru and me?” Mitsune asked.

“No thank you… I was going to go to in the springs.” Shinobu replied.

“Just watch yerself with those boys ya here. If ya need assistance, me and Naru won't be here to help ya, okay?” Mitsune said.

“I understand, Motoko is still here though so I should be alright.” Shinobu said, calmly.

“As long as ya sure.” Mitsune replied. “I'll see ya later.” She said as she walked off. Shinobu closed her book and sighed.

“Never mind. I'll enjoy the springs on my own for a bit.” Shinobu said.

 

Kai was in the springs, not bathing but hanging up the other side of the bell. Shinobu walked in. She was fully clothed.

“Um… Kai…” She said. Kai looked over.

“Yeah, what is it?” he asked nicely.

“Well… I would like to us the springs… if that's alright.” Shinobu said, shyly.

“Sure… Max and Ray are practicing their blading technique, Kenny is recording them. Hillary went out with Naru and Mitsune… but I've not see Tyson all day.” Kai said. He walked past the towels. “It's all yours.” He said.

“Thanks. I'll change here.” She said as Kai passed the curtains. Shinobu already had her towel ready. She walked over to the side of the spring, not realizing there was watching eyes. She walked away from the springs. She kicked her shoes off and put the towel down. She un-buttoned her jumper and pulled it off, underneath was black shirt. She removed that showing a bra and her bare skin. She looked around to make sure she was unwatched. The spy had ducked out of view before she saw him. She then removed her bra, revealing her developing breasts for all to see. She hastily got her towel and wrapped it around her chest. She then unbuttoned her blue jeans and pulled them and her panties down. The towel went down with them not letting her personal area be exposed. She held the towel as she removed her socks. She then walked over to the springs and exposed the skin of her feet to the warm waters. She got in rather quickly, removing the towel thus it didn't get wet. She sat, having the water up to her neck making it hard to see her girlie areas. The spy was watching her carefully, enjoying ever second of it.

 

A large gust of wind blew over and the spy's hat came off and flew towards Shinobu. She looked at it floating in the water next to her and became very nervous. She looked over to see Tyson, who was searching for his hat. He looked over to her and she went blue in the face and looked over to the bell. She made a dash to ring it to gain Kai's attention to help her. Tyson jumped in front of her, twisted her around and covered her mouth. He held her left breast trying to get her to keep still and enjoying the soft feeling he got as well.

“Please…” He said. “Don't tell Kai.” He pleaded. Shinobu bit his finger, which made him let go, and she screamed aloud. Kai pulled back the towels and saw what Tyson was doing. He went red in the face with anger. Tyson pushed Shinobu away and she twirled and slipped into the spring, cutting her leg open on a sharp rock, which made her scream again. Kai had the same vase as before and he belted it at Tyson far harder than before. Tyson was struck in the face and was launched backwards into the wooden wall. Kai dashed over, jumped and put his foot forward colliding it with Tyson's torso, launching him through the wood. Kai followed.

 

Max and Ray heard the commotion and came running. Motoko as well. Motoko ran into the springs and Shinobu was crying. Motoko saw the large pool of blood and the blood on the rock.

“Shinobu! What happened?” Motoko asked extremely worried. Shinobu couldn't reply. Motoko, without thinking, jumped into the springs and retrieved Shinobu. She lifted her out of the springs and picked up the towel. She wrapped her in it and took her inside. She sat her down on the sofa. Ray and Max came in.

“What's going on?” Ray asked.

“I don't know, but I assume someone watched Shinobu in the springs and she's hurt.” Motoko replied.

“Tyson…” Ray said.

“What?” Max asked.

“Forget it. Let's find Kai.” Ray said. Both Max and Ray ran off to find their leader. Naru, Mitsune and Hillary returned.

“What in tar nation is goin' on?” Mitsune asked.

 

Kai kicked Tyson upside the head. Tyson fell to the floor.

“It was one peek…” Tyson moaned.

“One peek? You were watching her bathe, you sick pervert.” Kai yelled at him.

“So…” Tyson back chatted Kai; Kai went red in the face and kicked him in the head.

“Tyson… you're the worst. You are off the team too.” Kai jerked.

“What! You can't do that.” Tyson yelled.

“I just did. I am team captain, what I say goes.” Kai said. “You broke one of the most lethal rules and you are getting off easy. Get out of my sight you despicable wretch.” Kai insulted, he then walked towards the building.

“YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!!!” Tyson yelled.

“You should have thought about that before you decided to spy on nude girls.” Kai said, he walked inside. Tyson walked off towards town.

 

Ray and Max found Kai.

“Kai, what's going on?” Ray asked.

“Yeah, where's Tyson?” Max asked. Kai did not reply, he just walked past them both. He walked into the room with Kenny and Hillary.

“Kenny, don't work on Tyson's blade anymore” Kai said.

“What? Why not?” Kenny asked.

“Because… he's no longer a part of this team.” Kai said.

“WHAT! But… he's our secret weapon.” Kenny said.

“Not anymore.” Kai walked into the room with the other girls. He walked over to his bag and pulled out cotton, disinfectant and a ball of bandages. He walked over to Shinobu, who was still crying in pain.

 

“Shinobu…” He said. “I need to put this disinfectant on your cut. But… It's going to really, really hurt.” Kai warned her. “But It's something that needs to be done.” Kai looked at her face. She nodded. Kai put some disinfectant on the cloth and dabbed it into the cut making Shinobu scream and fidget. The cut was enormous and very deep. It went from the back of her knee all the way through the muscle to her foot. After Kai finished, he wrapped the bandage around her leg. “Motoko… you're fast aren't you?” Kai asked.

“Yes, I am… but why?” Motoko asked.

“Can you take Shinobu to her room and help her get changed and run her to the hospital?” Kai asked.

“Sure.” Motoko replied. She picked up Shinobu and rushed her to her room. Inside Shinobu cried as Motoko went through her clothes. “Shinobu… where are your shirts?” Motoko asked.

“Third dresser.” Shinobu cried. Motoko opened the third dresser and pulled out a shirt. She had everything else and she went to help Shinobu change. She helped her with her lower clothing but Shinobu managed to do the upper half. “ Motoko… Can you get my sketchbook? It's in the drawer on my desk.” Shinobu told her. Motoko got out the book and handed it to Shinobu and crouched in front of her, her back to her.

“Get on.” She said. Shinobu moved forward and climbed on Motoko's back. Motoko lifted her and ran out of the apartment. She dashed off for the hospital.

 

Upon arrival, Motoko explained most of the situation. Tyson's perverted acts were not included. Shinobu was taken straight to a room where her leg was thoroughly examined. Shinobu was trying to ignore the pain by drawing. Motoko was sat outside waiting for the results. Naru, Mutsumi, Kaolla, Sara, Mitsune, Keitaro and Haruka came in. They walked over to Motoko.

“So… how is she?” Haruka asked.

“Haven't got the results yet.” Motoko replied. A doctor came out of the room with Shinobu on crutches. Haruka walked over.

“How is she?” She asked.

“She's fine, it's a bad cut, but over time it'll heel on it's own.” The doctor replied. As Haruka dealt with the doctor, Shinobu moved over to the hospital benches and didn't notice her sketchbook dropped. Kaolla picked it up and looked at the blank pages, she skimmed it through, finding nothing. She looked at the first page and smirked.

“Oh… Look's like Shinobu loves Kai.” She teased. Shinobu had sat down and looked over. She saw Kaolla looking at her sketch and forgot her injury, attempting to run over and grab the book, Shinobu fell flat on her belly, which hurt her. Motoko went to her aid as Naru took the sketch away from Kaolla.

“Don't you know it's mean to look at other peoples personal things? Shame on you.” She yelled closing the book.

Naru walked over to Shinobu and handed her the book. Shinobu, who was sat on the bench again took the book and cuddled it tightly, never wanting to lose it again. Haruka walked back over.

“Okay… I've spoken to the doctor, it's all taken care of and we can go home.” She said.

“Great.” Naru replied. The girls got up and went to the doors.

 

Ray flew out of nowhere and his back collided with the tree Kenny was hanging from. In that instant, Ray was taken out cold. Max flew out of the sky as a flaming fireball headed straight for the springs. He collided hard following up with flying water and jagged rocks. Hillary fell to the ground with a gapping large cut in her forehead. Kai was flung through two walls before colliding with another. He was still conscious, unlike everyone else. He searched hastily for their attacker. He shot his scarred face up as he heard a yell of power; he dived out of the way of a spike hook and rolled across the floor. His shirt was tone completely off and his trousers were full of holes. Kai had cuts all over. He looked but the fully cloaked attacker was gone. Kai felt something rip through his back and out of his lower stomach. He felt it yank out too. Kai fell to the floor, trying to stay conscious but the overwhelming pain and draining blood was making him lose his focus. Kai was determined not to die. He hadn't fulfilled his dream yet. He pushed against the floor and struggled to stand. His hair was waving to a wind that was not really there. He faced his attacker. His eyes filled with flames and he powered up.

“Dranzer!!!” He yelled aloud. He somehow sprouted Phoenix wings and his hair changed red. He thumped his attacker hard and threw in a kick for kicks. He jump kicked his enemy and slammed his elbow into the attackers head. The attack quickly recovered and lifted a hand with a hook and pulled it down on Kai. Kai grabbed the attackers wrist and the attacker used the other hand holding a sword to strike. Kai grabbed that wrist too. He then pushed the arms upwards making the elbows go in an awkward painful position and broke both arms. Kai's hair returned normal and his wings vanished. He let go of his attacker and thumped him in the face. His attacker fell and was out cold. Kai lifted the body and dragged it outside. The Hina girls, except Haruka, were walking up the stairs. Shinobu noticed all the damaged and rushed over.

“Kai… are you okay?” She asked him.

“Yeah… I'm fine…” Kai said, but he then fainted. Shinobu dropped her crutches and lifted her arms to grab him, but the sheer weight of Kai and the fact she only had one usable leg caused her to fall with him. Everyone else ran over.

“Oh my god!” Naru yelled. “The other! They must be hurt too. Keitaro, phone the police and the hospital, explain all you know. Sara, Kaolla, you two find Kenny. Mutsumi you find Hillary. Motoko and Mitsune, you two find Max, I'll find Rei. Shinobu, stay with Kai.” Naru ordered. Everyone ran off to find them all in the house. Shinobu looked at Kai. Kai spoke weekly.

“Max… springs… Kenny… tree… Ray… same as Kenny… Hillary… indoors…” he said. Shinobu yelled out.

“Max is in the springs, Kenny and Ray are at a tree, and Hillary is inside the building. Hurry!” She yelled. Everyone found their targets. Mutsumi picked up Hillary and brought her out to Kai. Sara and Kaolla cut the rope holding Kenny in the tree and took him to Kai. Motoko and Mitsune found Max, who was smoking. Motoko touched him and burned herself.

“Ow!” She yelped as she pulled her hands away.

“What's wrong?” Mitsune asked

“He's hot… really hot.” Motoko said.

“Told ya… ain't he the cutest?” Mitsune asked.

“No… I mean physically.” Motoko said, blushing. Mitsune touched Max and also burned herself.

“Yeow!” She yelped. Motoko ran and got a bucket of freezing cold water. She threw it over him. Max let of a lot of steam but was touchable. Mitsune picked him up and they left. Naru got Ray too. Keitaro had just finished his convocation with the hospital and came out. Everyone was trying to wake up the boys. Kai the most as he was the most seriously hurt. Two types of sirens were heard soon after and Police and paramedics ran up. Naru ran to the police and Keitaro the paramedics. Two questions shot out.

“Where's the suspect?” and “Who's the most hurt?” were the questions. Naru pointed to the masked killer.

“Him!” She yelled. The cops ran over and arrested the killer. Keitaro said Kei was the most hurt, so he was operated on mainly. There were 7 medics. Two on Kai and one for everyone else. Each of them were taken to the hospital… without the Hina girls.
