Chapter Nine: “Care for me… please.”

 

The five teens made it to the top of the Hinata apartment. Tyson walked in front of everyone. Inside however, Kai was chaining to some of his spear cool clothes. He put on the ones he had around the V-Force times. He walked out and jumped onto one of the low roofs. He looked at Tyson coming towards the front door.

“Hey, Tyson!” Kai yelled. Tyson looked up.

“K… Kai?” Tyson stuttered. Kai jumped down and looked at Tyson.

“How've you been?” Kai asked.

“Uh… fine…” Tyson replied.

“That's good. Cause I want to teach you a lesson.” Kai said angrily. He ran for Tyson and high kicked him. Tyson fell backwards. Tyson stood up.

“I don't do hand to hand.” Tyson complained.

“Well, I don't care.” Kai said as he ran and spin kicked Tyson. Tyson fell to the ground again.

“Kai! What're you doing?” Hillary yelled.

“Stay out of this!” Kai yelled at her. “This is between Innocent and the dead.” Kai yelled threateningly. Tyson stood up.

“Fine! If it's a beybattle you want…” he started.

“No… I never said that. I don't want a beybattle. I just want to smash your ugly face in. You traitor. I gave you your place back… and this is how you repay me? You make me sick Tyson. You sicken me beyond comparison to anything else. I always envied you because no matter how hard I practiced and increased my skill, you somehow were always one step ahead. But I discovered something. It wasn't you getting better… it was Dragoon… and I'll prove it. If you defeat me in a hand to hand… then I will finally admit your better than me.” Kai explained.

“I thought you were pissed cause I busted you.” Tyson said.

“You busted me for a crime not committed, for something I didn't do. That's why I'm going to beat you up.” Kai said. He ran at Tyson and rammed his foot into Tyson's stomach. He pulled away and used the same foot to kick him in the chin. Tyson fell down, blood dripping from his lip.

“Damn!” Tyson cursed. He stood and ran at Kai and threw a punch. Kai grabbed it and pushed it back upwards, cracking the bone. Kai lifted his foot into Tyson's stomach. Tyson fell backwards. “O… okay… I… I give up.” He said. Kai slapped his hands together, as if he was brushing the dust off of them. He turned and walked inside the Hinata apartment. He walked up to the back of Naru. She was standing watching the T.V. Kai grabbed her shoulder and span her to face him.

“Hey! What're you doing? Huh… Kai?” Naru asked. Slap.

“That's for busting me for nothing.” Kai yelled. “Where's Shinobu!” He asked, in yelling.

“She ran off into the woods a few hours ago.” Naru said.

“What direction?” Kai asked.

“That way.” Naru said pointing to a wall. “Never slap me again.” She yelled. Kai slapped her again and walked out of the apartment. He ran in the direction Naru pointed.

 

Ray, Max, Hillary and Kenny lifted Tyson up as Kaolla just ignored it and ran inside. Tyson was bleeding all over the place.

“Tyson are you alright?” Hillary asked, in concern.

“Yeah, I'm fine. Ray, Max. We've got to get him for this.” Tyson plotted.

“What?” Ray asked.

“Yeah, Tyson. You deserved all of that.” Max said.

“Yeah, Kai's done nothing wrong.” Ray agreed.

“What are you blabbering about?” Tyson asked. “Kai physically assaulted me. He deserves to be arrested.” Tyson yelled.

“No… he doesn't.” Ray said. He then walked off towards the apartment.

 

Kai ran through the woods. He stepped into some form of sludge. He looked down and saw the ground.

“It's damp…” He said. He looked over to a tree and saw Shinobu. “Shinobu!” He yelled. He ran over and grabbed her shoulders. She was unconscious. Kai shook her but she didn't wake. Kai was so distracted by the fact she was unconscious that he only just noticed something. Crying… babies crying. He lifted Shinobu's skirt slightly and smiled. “…Wow…” he said. There were two twin female babies in between Shinobu's legs. He snapped out of his vision and took off his shirt. He carefully lifted one of the babies and slipped her into the shirt to keep her warm, her head coming out of the neck. Kai placed her down carefully and lifted up the other side of the shirt. He picked up the other baby and carefully slipped her inside, pressing her against her sister and wrapping them up. They were able to breath. He carefully put them both back under Shinobu's skirt for more warmth. “I'll be right back.” He promised. He then dashed off for the Hinata apartment. Before getting there, he was apprehended by Police.

“Freeze! Stay where you are!” They yelled. Kai gritted his teeth.

“I really don't need this right now!” He yelled. “I don't have time to play with you!!!” Kai charged the cops, jumped on one of the police cars, leaped off and ran towards the apartment. He slid across the floor before running in. He ran straight to Ray.

“Hi, Kai.” Ray said.

“Ray! You've got to help me!” Kai pleaded. Kai ran into the living room and picked up some scissors and a few towels. He ran to Max. “Max! Phone the hospital, now! Tell them it's really urgent and to come here.” Kai ordered.

“Uh, but why?” Max asked.

“Do it!” Kai bellowed. He ran back to Ray.

“Kai! What's going on?” He asked.

“Can't explain! Come with me!” Kai replied. Max came out.

“What is going on?” he asked.

“It's Shinobu! All right! Now do as I ask!” Kai ordered. Max and Ray gasped.

“Fine, Okay.” Max said as he headed for the phone. Motoko came over.

“What's happened to Shinobu?” She asked.

“Well, let's just say she's no longer alone.” Kai said. Motoko didn't get it. No one did. They just did as he asked. Ray and Kai ran out.

“Kai! This must've been serious if you took your shirt off.” He joked as they ran towards Shinobu. They arrived near her pretty quickly. Police following with cuffs at the ready. Ray spoke up.

“What're the towels for?” He asked. Kai got the scissors and cut something in between Shinobu's legs. He lifted his shirt with the twins inside and showed Ray. “…No way…” he said. Kai quickly and carefully switched the twins from his shirt to the towels and hand them both to Ray. Ray held on tightly looking at them as they cried at him. Kai picked up Shinobu and the two hastily ran back to the apartment, the police trying to get Kai. Kai evaded them, as he couldn't fight them. They quickly made it back and the paramedics were there, yelling at Max for making a “crank call.” Kai walked over.

“Hey! Stop yelling!” He yelled at them.

“Is this the injured person?” They asked, referring to Shinobu.

“Yes, but she isn't hurt… at least I hope not. By the looks of things she gave birth to twins alone.” Kai explained. Max, Tyson Hillary, Motoko, Kaolla, Naru, Mitsune and Keitaro yelled out.

“WHAT!!!”

“It's true… Ray?” Kai asked. Ray came up and showed them all the twins.

“No way!” They said.

“Doctors, she needs medical assistance.” Kai said.

“Right!” They said.

“One more thing.” Kai started.

“Yes… what is it?” The paramedics asked.

“Apologize! Apologize to Max right now for your rapid, unnecessary comments.” Kai ordered. The paramedics felt guilty. The apologized to Max for yelling at him. Shinobu was placed on a stretcher and was led off to the ambulance. Kai and Ray followed. Ray handed the twins to Kai, who looked at them once more before giving them to the paramedics. He turned to face the police, who had the cuffs at the ready. Kai was putting his shirt back on. He put his hands out. The police were about to cuff him when Shinobu spoke up.

“Please…” She said, weakly. “…Don't take him away… Don't take him away…” She pleaded, weaker than ever. “He… he's done… nothing wrong… He… He didn't… rape me… I love him… don't take him away… from me… again.” She then fell unconscious again. The police spook to each other. Shinobu's parents came up.

“Don't listen! He's manipulated her! She doesn't know what she's saying! Arrest him now!” Her father yelled.

“Yeah, he assaulted me. Arrest him!” Tyson yelled in agreement.

“Nope!” The cops said. “He would have finished his punishment now and the victim says he's innocent. We can't do any more.” They then got into their cars and drove off. Ray touched Kai's shoulder.

“Go with her, pal.” He said. Kai smiled and touched Ray's hand.

“Thanks.” He replied. He leaped into the ambulance and they drove off to the hospital.

 

Once they got there, Shinobu was taken into intensive care. Kai was forced to wait outside. He paced around in front of the room for hours and hours. Soon everyone else came in. Kai didn't speak to no one. He just paced, hoping his girl and his kids were okay. His kids? He was a father. And no one, not even Shinobu, knew. Soon, his waiting came to an end as a doctor came out. He smiled.

“She'll be fine… all three of her.” He joked. “Are you the father?” He asked Kai.

“Most likely.” Kai joked.

“Well, I'll let you in first, shall I?” He asked. Kai walked in. Everyone else ran over, even Tyson. “You're not coming in yet. Let the parents spend some time with their kids.

 

Kai walked over to Shinobu, but stopped before reaching her. He looked in a small tank. The twins were there moving around. He walked over to them and carefully picked them both up. He walked over to his girlfriend and she opened her eyes. She sat up against the wall.

“Hi… Kai…” She said, blushing shyly. Kai smiled.

“How do you feel?” Kai asked. Shinobu began crying again. She leaned over and hugged Kai.

“I'm so happy…” She cried. She let go of Kai and sat normally.

“So am I…” Kai said, smiling. He handed her one of the girls and Shinobu took her. Kai had the other one.

“So cute… and… they're mine?” Shinobu asked.

“No…” Kai said. “They're ours.” He finished. She smiled at him. He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. She then turned to face him and he kissed her on the lips, she got dragged in and kissed him back. She broke away from him.

“What shall we call them?” She asked. “I like Millie… oh, or Lillie.” Shinobu said.

“Well… how about… Lillie and Millie Maehara Hiwatari.” Kai said.

“Serious… you'll let me name them?” Shinobu asked.

“Yeah… I never was good at names.” Kai said. Shinobu kissed him again.

 

It was Seven weeks Later. Kai decided he was going to stay with Shinobu and his Kids and he quit the BBA. In fact, after the last tournament, the BBA won against the White Tiger X team. But the team fell apart without their leader. Ray was first to quit and went to join the White Tiger X team. Max lost two good friends and Tyson was as good as one he used to be, so Max returned to America. Tyson was set to protect his own title. So far he's done a good job, but he lacks a lot of training. As for the twins… Kai's planning on teaching them the ways of the beyblade. So that one-day… they will enter a great tournament… and take Tyson's title.
