CHAPTER SEVEN
KAOLLA-SU'S SCROLL

`I can not sleep very good.' Kaolla-Su thought to herself. `Every since the burial ceremony I have been having strange dreams.'

Kaolla-Su was sitting in the banana tree that was growing in the middle of her room. Whenever someone asked how she had managed to grow it in there she would just smile and say it was a good place for it. As the only full time resident of the Hinata apartments that was not native born to the island country of Japan Kaolla-Su was often looked upon as an outsider. It was not that people were out rightly unfriendly to her, but the way that she spoke and her actions could not help but set her apart from the other residents of the Hinata apartments.

In fact, most of the people that knew her found she had a certain genius for constructing machinery. In fact, she had graduated from her technical school well ahead of her class. The people that were looking to employ her seemed to be willing to pay her handsome sums just for her knowledge of advanced robotics. Even though robotics seemed to be a complex problem to others, it posed no kind of a challenge for her. Nevertheless, she still had an empty feeling deep within her and she could not explain why. She knew that she was going to be able to help her native land now, and she was very happy for it but she still felt hollow, deep down in the pit of her ever-ravenous stomach. Something was eating away at her from the inside but she could not figure out what, or why.

As she pondered the emotions, she was feeling her memories cast her back to the day that Keitaro first arrived at the Hinata apartments.

She had been in her room working on a now long forgotten invention, perhaps a machine to peel bananas for her when she heard Naru's scream. She quickly rushed out into the hall to find the samurai Motoko chasing a boy though the halls.
Thinking that this was a great new game they were playing together, she decided to join in the fun and turned one of her early security robot models loose on him.

She later found out from Haruka that he was to be the new manager of the apartments and his name was Keitaro. She also learned that he was the grandson of the apartment's owner. It was then that she got her first good look at him and found he looked quite similar to big brother. Big brother, the man she had been engaged too every since she was but an infant.

After awhile things had settled down and thing seemed to fall into a routine. Keitaro would do something to upset one of the other girls and he would end up flying over the apartments. But he never seemed to hold a grudge or complain too much. And Kaolla found she found she liked him very much. He was always nice to everyone and he was so much fun to test her mechanized creations on that she never thought twice about his presence here. In fact he kind of reminded her of big brother.

And then came the nights of the red moon.

She was going about her daily life as usual but at night, she was taking what was to be her adult form. Moreover, when they found that she had crawled into bed with Keitaro Naru and Motoko had nearly taken his life and were referring to him as such a Baka and Hentai. It was only after her sister Amara showed up and was ether going to marry him or kill him, she really could not remember which. If it were not for the other girls, Keitaro would have been a goner that night. But the amazing thing was he stood his ground. Most warrior men quake in fear at the thought of Amara angry, but Keitaro never backed down.

Then one night, Big Brother DID show up to marry her. If it were not for a suggestion from Naru and Keitaro, she would be married to him instead of him being married to Amara. However, because of them Big brother and Amara were happily married and had three children now.

At this point something in her innocent young mind clicked, Keitaro, she had not been truly happy until Keitaro had come into her life. Her mind reeled at the thought of it. She loved Keitaro. She loved everyone here at the Hinata but she loved Keitaro best he was the man who put everything before himself. He stood by while the others battered him about physically and mentally. Even if he had done nothing but wander into a room without seeing who was there first he had taken the risk of being punched into orbit by one of the girls.

`When did this happen to me?' Kaolla wondered to herself. `When did I begin to love Keitaro? When did he get to steal my soul? Would he reject me if I offered him my heart? Will he accept my ways for marriage? I wonder if the spirits will understand my love for him. Would Naru object to my courting him with her? Kami, why does poor little Su have such a very big problem?'

When this revelation hit her, Kaolla broke into tears. It was the first time since she had left home that she had cried like this. She had sworn to Amara and Big Brother to remain happy. However, for all the difficulties and loneliness that came of living at the Hinata this was the worst thing to happen to her so far.

She had finally come to realize that she loved Keitaro and it was over before it had even begun. Keitaro would marry Naru as soon as the repairs were made to the grounds of the Hinata. Then they would all have to separate.

As Kaolla thought back on all of the experiences that she had been through here at the Hinata her eyes began welling up with even more tears. All of here friends would be leaving after that and that brought an even greater deluge of tears.

She hugged herself to the banana tree tighter and tighter. `If it were not for Keitaro's grandma person going away I could show my love to all that are here.' Kaolla moaned silently to herself. `I could give myself to Keitaro as concubine if Naru would allow it. But they do not believe as I do. They do not understand that men need to be cared for by as many women as possible. Men are useless without many women to watch over them to keep them from foolishness.'

As her thoughts began to run away with her, she looked longingly upon her tree. Unknown to anyone else at the Hinata she had managed to culture an image in the tree without cutting it. The image of Keitaro grown into a man was now represented on the top of her tree. Recently added to that image was Keitaro's member, as she had seen it the night of the funeral.

`Keitaro has become a very desirable man. It would please any woman to become one of his wives. Just the sight of his manhood makes my mouth water for the taste of him. And I know that he would like to take me because his manhood grows when he sees me unclad. But his face is so confused when he sees any of us girls nude. I have often wondered if he has been properly educated on the facts of pleasing a woman. If he were from my Country, he would have known I wanted him when he saw me in the laundry. I know I am not as I was under the red moon yet, but I will be. Why have I not aged as Shinobu has? Does he hate me for the games I have played with him? Would he even love me?

As the troubled thoughts washed through the innocent girls psyche, a thought came to her. `Grandmother Person, she understands, she was wise or she wouldn't be grandmother person. She could give Su advice on what to do. She was most wise in life; she must even be wiser now.'

At this thought Kaolla-Su hastily clamored out of her banana tree and tore through her room. Digging under a pomegranate bush she had planted in the corner, she retrieved the vial and scroll from underneath it.

Opening the door to her room, she peered outside. Noticing the empty hallway she quietly tore town the stairs and into the night.

Searching through the darkness for where she was looking for Kaolla stumbled. The night seemed to be closing in on her, trying to prevent her from reaching the place she had to be. She ran as though the hounds of hell were on her heals. Through a pure evil and ink blackness she ran. It pinched at her eyes and filled her mouth with a bitter vial as it tried to steal the breath from her lungs. The darkness closed about her and filled her heart with a terror and hopelessness that only the target of her heart and mind could uncover. She knew the place she had to be and the thought of what she had to do was truly terrifying her. For Kaolla needed to broach the sprit world. And the possibility of disaster was foremost in her fragile mind.
On and on she ran without regard to what she was doing; only where she was going mattered. Her feet felt as if they were being cut with miniature razors as she ran barefoot through the quiet darkness. Something seemed to be trying to hold her back as she tried valiantly to get to her destination.

All of a sudden, she tripped over the very place that she was trying to reach. Screaming to the night, she called for help from the one person uppermost in her panicked young mind. `Grandmother of Keitaro please come and help me!!!'
When her words formed, the night a miracle filled her heart, because the moon had finally come out from behind the dense cloudbank that had been covering it. And at its appearance, the land was bathed in a gentle, soft, white glow. Looking around Kaolla saw the place that she was where she was looking for, Grandmother Hina's memorial marker, her final resting place.

Coming quickly to her knees Kaolla-Su bowed respectfully to the marker and addressed it thus.

`Grandmother of Keitaro, I know that I still do not speak your language properly, but I hope that I do not insult your spirit in talking to you in the formal way. I came long ago from a very wild land where strength is to be admired and wisdom even more so. I have learned much here in Japan and wish to still learn more but I have a trouble deep within my breast that only the wisdom one such as you can help. I have come to find that I love your grandson. Keitaro is much how a man should be. He is caring and gentle. He is helpful and very wise and brave when he must be called upon. But in this country when a man is spoken for by a woman another woman may not seek him. It would be improper. I truly love Keitaro; I love everyone who has given to me of themselves here at Hinata. And you would know that I would never betray Naru as to take Keitaro by force as is a custom in my country. Naru is like a sister-wife to me. I would share him if she would. What should I do Grandmother? Show me your wisdom.

When she finished her grave discourse she laid the scroll and vial upon the top of the marker and waited.

The wind was blowing through the trees eerily and although most people never realized or suspected it Kaolla was a very superstitious person

When she heard a snap above her head, she looked up. The moonlight showed the fear shining in her eyes. Communicating with the dead was best left for emergencies only as she knew. However, in her overly active mind there was no other way of solving her problems.

Bowing her head again, she concentrated on the message she was trying to get to the other side.

She could feel the life moving around her.

The bugs crawling through the grass

The birds nesting overhead

The rodents that were digging under the very earth where Kaolla was kneeling.

Then another loud snap shattered her concentration.

Looking up in the direction of the noise Kaolla scanned for what had caused the disturbance. The she saw it a large sharp limb had broken off from the other branches and had barely been caught by the lower limbs of the tree above her.

Her heart was filled with stark terror from the sight and Kaolla could only watch as the broken branch teetered and wobbled on its precarious perch. Then a gust of wind came up and it fell. And, as it fell Kaolla could feel the spiritual force behind it.
Like a javelin thrown by an Olympian it hurled towards the frightened girl. It spun down towards her as if fired from a rifle. Kaolla barely had time to let out a fitful cry as she hurled herself towards the hard ground, attempting to get out of the path of the deadly wooden projectile.

Hearing a tearing noise behind her, she first felt her back to see where the spirits wooden missile had pierced her. However, after feeling no holes in her skin or shirt, she was able to look up, and that is when she noticed it. The branch had stabbed itself into the ground next to the tomb, but not before piercing a hole straight thought the scroll Keitaro's grandmother had left her.

She couldn't take anymore. Her nerves were already on edge and this unforeseen attack tipped her over the chasm.
`I only wanted to get help.' She wailed to herself. `I meant no insult. I just wanted help with my love for Keitaro. I did not mean evil. Please do not be mad with me. I love Keitaro but he belongs to Naru. I only wanted to know what I should do. Please do not be taking Kaolla's soul'

Wailing vigilantly to herself, she prayed that the spirit of Keitaro's grandmother would forgive her the trespass she had caused this night. When she heard the wind pick up again. At first, she did not pay any attention to it out of her sheer fright, but then she noticed how even though the wind was blowing very hard, nothing was being affected by the force it had. Then she heard it through the trees

`Theee scroooll, Kaolla. Read the scroooll.'

At hearing, this Kaolla raised her head and wiped the tears away from her stinging eyes listening carefully.

`The scroooll, myyy daughter. Read the scroooll.'

As the wind spoke this last time Kaolla dared to lift the scroll from the tomb. Carefully she looked at it and found that the branch that had nearly killed her had merely torn the wax seal from the parchment. At the sight of this Kaolla's heart leapt within her, for the evil sprits had fled from the good sprit of Keitaro's wise old grandmother.

Giving thanks to the spirits and especially to the spirit of Keitaro's grandmother for the answer she had been seeking she began to read.

To Kaolla-Su
My cleverest daughter

It has been many years sense you have first come here to the Hinata.

You always had the most energy. You had the most fun and the most reckless streak I have ever been proud to know.

You have grown much from the first time you walked through my doors.

The reason that you were able to do so is largely because of my intervention, I am proud to say. I had undertaken a journey though your beautiful homeland and had met your elders. I had to give them my promise to watch over the one they would send me. Moreover, I am glad I made that promise. For you have exceeded any expectations we might have had for you.

You truly have grown much since first arriving here and when my grandson arrived, the growth became even greater.

I know my dearest Kaolla that you love my grandson. I could feel the question in you long before it formed it in your mind to seek me out. I also know your country's feelings towards their men. The men might be the rulers, but without the proper guidance from their wives, it is felt that the men would slip into unbearable foolishness.

Would it not be better then for a man such as Keitaro to have many women watching over him? Would it be foolish to have Motoko's courage at his back? Or to have Shinobu's heart to help him watch over the home. Would it not be wise to have our Mitsune to keep those who would take advantage of his kindness at bay? Would it be foolish to have Naru lead the family? Would the keeper of the children's welfare be foolish if it were not named Mutsumi?
Women allow the good men to lead in your country because the women guide them. Would you not be willing to help guide my grandson if he would but ask?
Kaolla my lovely girl, the only problem I see is that you have yet to allow yourself to truly assume your adult form.

When the full red moon affected you, you assumed your adult form even though it was only temporary. My grandson saw this form and was completely smitten with you in it. Through the magic of your people, you have been able to forgo the aging process. You would be able to teach this to him and the other girls. This would insure that all of his children will have proper guidance well into their adult lives.

However, this cannot be achieved until you have assumed your adult form. Therefore, to help you with your problems I have prepared a gift for each of you. The tea I made is a potion that will bind each of you together. Moreover, for you my dearest Kaolla it will allow you to assume your adult form without it causing you the distress as changing did before.

I wish for you to be happy with my grandson and all of your sister-wives and children. Please help watch over everyone as everyone must watch over each other. And I will be watching over you all.

With fondest hope and love, Grandmother Hina.

After reading the words grandma Hina had left for her, Kaolla was once again in tears. This time however they were tears of joy. Setting down this scroll, she once again picked up the vial. Looking into its crystalline depths, she noticed that its color had changed from a dull tea-like liquid into a glowing and deep phosphorescent green. Tearing out the stopper that held it closed she downed the potion in a single gulp.

Taking up the scroll and now empty vial, she once again began running through the night. This time headed back towards the Hinata apartments. Deciding to take a short -cut she leapt onto a low-lying limp of a cherry tree. Leaping from branch to branch, she made her way to the roof of the apartments. She hit the roof with a soft thud and ran quickly to the window of her room. Dropping inside she made her way through the thick vegetation of her personal indoor jungle, until she reached her banana tree. Climbing its branches to the place where she had formed the likeness of Keitaro. She stored the scroll and vial and turned to face it.

At the sight of the image of Keitaro, Kaolla was filled with a sensation she had never felt before. Her breathing had become shallow and quick. And at first she thought it was because of her long run through the night. Then she began to feel the wetness that was growing between her legs, and at the same time, she felt her nipples harden underneath her light khaki shirt. Kaolla-Su was horny for the first time in her life. Moreover, she knew if she did not get release, she could possibly go mad with her newfound desire.

Acting on instinct alone she removed her clothing in the quickest way possible, by tearing them from her body. Going over to the likeness where she had formed the addition of his erect member, she began to rub her body over it. At first, she rubbed it all over herself. She rubbed the pseudo member over her breasts and into the crack of her little ass, but soon thereafter she formed an up and down pattern with it.

She rubbed the phallus between her breasts and licked at the tip of it, as she knew would have if it were Keitaro himself. Then she moved a little lower and took it into her awaiting mouth. Bobbing her head up and down, she allowed the form of it to become coated in her saliva. As she prepared it for use she allowed it to go deeper ever deeper into her throat, until her lips were brushing its base. When she thought it was thoroughly caked with it, she released it from her maw.

Feeling the heat emanating from the center of her being she allowed her movements to become more and more erratic. Then she allowed herself to rise up and begin to rub it against her very center. Against the hair covered cleft that she wanted Keitaro to pierce so badly. On and on she rubbed feeling the center of her soul growing with even greater lust with each passing moment. Until finally she allowed the carving to enter her now slick vagina. She could feel the discomfort of being split open for the first time, but Kaolla continued on. She let it slide ever deeper into her until it nudged against that critical membrane. Then she rose up and felt it slide out of her, until just the top of it remained within her now slick depths. Then placing a hand at the point just above where she would tear her hymen. She allowed herself to drop back down, being careful not to tear it. She wanted to give that wound to Keitaro with pride.

Repeatedly she lowered herself upon the false Keitaro. Bouncing herself upon it with increasingly violent motions, Kaolla began gasping for air. As the feelings of pleasurable torments increased, her emotions were building higher and higher. On and on she went allowing her physical needs to run away with her. Until that, elusive, rushing feeling that she had desired for so long finally overcame her.

When her orgasm struck her, Kaolla could only grip the tree and shudder. She knew in her heart that sex with Keitaro would be so much more powerful. However, in her mind she could not understand how. Every fiber of her being was screaming out with pleasure. Her spirit wanted to float out of her body. She could feel the wetness of her release flow from her on to the limb in a great rush of fluid.

Kaolla finally released her grip on the tree and stood up. Slumping against the opposite limb Kaolla heaved a heavy sigh of release as the tension that had been building up in her over the past few weeks evaporated. She had never felt so relaxed.

`I cannot wait to do this with the real Keitaro.' Kaolla thought to herself peacefully, as a sleepy smile spread across her tranquil face. `I am hoping that the potion that Keitaro's grandmother works well. For it would be truly happy if we were all able to be together as a family.'

As this last thought flowed through her sleepy head, Kaolla-Su curled herself around the limb she rested against and drifted of to dream where all was peaceful with her husband and her sister-wives.
