Where the Magic Is
Bare feet staggered through the cool wet grassy ground beneath, bright red hair shone dimly in the moonlight. She panted hard as she blazed through the open field but temporarily came to a halt for her feet stumbled and her body with it. Painfully, she pushed herself up, blood seeping through the lashed wound on her back. "I found her, shes over here!" came a drifted voice from behind. "No." She huffed as her head quickly turned around, crimson red eyes gleaming in fear. She got to her feet and rushed in the forest ahead.
"Mil'lady, she's headed for the cliff" a man said to the being before him. "Good, her body can rot in the ocean." said a woman with long dark wavy hair.
She ran fast and hard, looking back only once. To her dismay she came to the edge of the cliff, starring down at the rocks and clashing waves. "Give it up girl." stated the dark haired woman. "What do you want from me?" were the red heads only courages words. The woman only grinned. "Your life." she raised her palm to the young girl. Stricken with absolute fear the gasped as large ice shards shot from the ground. The edge began to crumble and along she fell with the crumbled cliff into the raging ocean. The woman stared below her upon the crashing waves of the ocean. "One down. Two to go." she said wickedly then disappeared into the night.
Her body began to sink to the bottom. A certain sleep began to overcome her, through her blurred vision she could see the moon glimmer, suddenly a strange blue object appeared and came towards her. Her eyes closed but could feel something grab and pull her, then everything became dark and numb.
