Authors Note: Yes this story was once published on Media miner and I did get reviews all of which were pretty bad telling me how my chapters where too short and how I should update more. Well the original was written around two years ago and since then i've had a lot of trouble with my Internet and my computer. Also I had a lack of inspiration to write anything but I read some of the reviews and I've decided to finish the story I set out to write. I warn you it probably wont be any good but i'm giving it my all and who knows maybe ill get inspiration to write again. Hopefully this one is better than the original. Thanks and wish me good luck. The sun was just setting over the horizon behind the Blue Mountains. It was a rare and beautiful site to see the colors changing from a bluish orange to now a pink/deep red color, something you don't get to see often. Miki was sitting by the bonfire which yuu had built for them. She was sitting next to Yuu her beloved and the most handsome boy in school. They had gone through a lot over the past 5 years.
First having their parents who had been deeply in love and then get divorced switch partners and then get remarried. It was a slight disaster now being stepbrother and stepsister they had gone through many breakups and get back together all which had shaped their relationship to a loving caring joining of two people. They kept this secret and then finally told everyone which at first said it was the worst idea ever. But that wouldn't stop them from loving each other.
See their parents hadn't seen what they saw in each other. The silent shy boy with al the right things to say to a girl. That was Yuu he would tease you until you hated him and then out of nowhere he would take you to a quiet little spot where the sun would set and the sky turned fifty shades of blue and gray. Kind of like a painting you would go to see at a museum but never be able to afford. But you wouldn't need to buy it cause he had given it to you in person and now you could keep it in your hear forever. In fact, according to miki anyway, Yuu was perfect. Miki on the other hand was rarely shy at all. She was an eccentric, daring and bold person who spoke her mind and worked hard for what she wanted. Sometimes she would end up being a klutz and make every simple thing in life hard. But when her friends needed help she always had their back. Miki according to yuu was something special.
It was their 4-year anniversary and so far it was going great....

NEXT DAY

It was the day after arriving at spring break in Cancun the hot spot of the world especially for spring break. Sex, booze, hunks and babes were on everyone's minds all except yuu and miki. There was nothing more than they could think of then each other. Finally the two could spend some time alone on their fourth anniversary with no parents to disapprove of their relationship or school and part-time jobs to worry about.
"Hey Miki where is yuu anyway"? Asked Meiko as the two best friends were getting their nails done.
"He said he was going out with ginta for the day". Replied Miki
" That's good. At least those two finally learned how to get along with each other" Questioning Meiko asked "you guys doing anything special for you're anniversary?"
Miki answered " I have no clue"
The whole day the two girls spent getting manicures, pedicures and their hair done. They also went shopping for clothes, makeup, perfume and a bunch of other girlie items that were on sale. See miki thought ginta and yuu were just out catching a movie. But what was really going on was yuu was out setting up the perfect date for his and miki big night and ginta was just the man to help. Meiko was to keep miki busy the whole day and don't let her know anything about tonight. Which just happened to be one of meiko's specialties.
Around 4 o'clock miki and meiko had run out of things to do and well money for that matter. Miki who was extremely exhausted from shopping all day had put all the bags on the couch in her room and headed to bed for a nap.
While Miki was sleeping Yuu opened the door with the spare key and entered their hotel room quietly. He was carrying a big box and some red roses. * She looks so much like an angel when she's sleeping* Yuu put the box and roses at the end of the bed with a note, kissed his angel on the head and left.
" I hope Miki likes her surprise". Yuu said to himself as he locked the door.
