Authors Note: Okay well since the first chapter was actually my first two chapters from the original story. This is the beginning of the new work. So here it goes. And if none of you people like it well that's just too bad.

The room was dark but it was only about 4 in the afternoon. The curtains were pulled shut and the eerie green glow of the numbers on the am/fm alarm clock gave the room a bizarre twilight zone effect. Miki was sleeping away unaware of the eerie state of her bedroom. Her dreams were filled of all the wonderful things she could be doing with Yuu on their four-year anniversary but no he had to go hang out with his best friend. Probably at a bar getting drunk and watching stupid blond haired bimbos enter a wet t-shirt contest.
Just as the ranting in her mind was getting good the alarm clock went off to a very annoying singer (Avril Lavigne) complaining about one thing or the other. Miki arose to slap the alarm clock off the nightstand. She got out of bed and opened the curtains squinting at the sunlight. (By this time Miki was really annoyed at Yuu for going out instead of spending their anniversary with her.) She picked the alarm clock off the floor to reveal that it was 6 oclock in the evening.
It took Miki about half an hour to realize there was even a box at the end of her bed. The box, which was wrapped in rose printed wrapping paper and tied with a silver ribbon, was laid next to a dozen red roses. There was a card attached to the box and Miki picked it up. She smelled the roses as she opened the note, it read:
Dear Miki,
Please meet me at the La Château Restaurant at 8pm. I hope you like whats in the box.

Miki put down the note and after putting the flowers in a vase she pulled the silver ribbon off the box and opened it to reveal a beautiful black dress. Underneath the black dress was a bag inside of the bag was this beautiful diamond necklace she had wanted about a month ago but couldnt afford it. She was so mesmerized by the fact that it was such a beautiful gift that she almost forgot that it was 6 oclock and only had two hours to get dressed.
Miki quickly ran into the bathroom and turned on the shower. She just hoped she wouldn't be late.
