Mileena used a clean towel to wipe all of the sweat that was pouring off of her. She was exhausted because of the training she had just finished with Tanya, who was a new-ish member of the Umgadi. Tanya replaced Li Mei only eight years ago. She missed Li Mei and she never really thought that the new Constable didn’t have anything to do with her father, Jerrod’s death. But Mileena liked Tanya a lot.

She couldn’t take her eyes off of Tanya, who was also wiping off her own sweat. When they first met, Mileena was taken by Tanya’s beauty. She knew that her feelings had changed from friendly to romantic during the last seven months. But Mileena was scared to tell Tanya how she truly felt about her since Umgadi took a vow of celibacy and they are not allowed to have romantic relationships. Most of Outworld was very accepting and supportive of people of different genders and sexulities.

“Princess, are you alright? You seem to be preoccupied a lot lately.” Tanya asked. She was a little worried. Okay, she was very worried. The Princess had been staring either at her or off in the distance the last few months. She did feel flattered if Mileena had feelings for her, but there were those stupid Umgadi rules. It’s not like Tanya to disobey rules, but she cared for Mileena more than she had for anyone else in a very long time.

“I’m fine, Tanya. And yes, I have been. But I promise I will tell you someday. Thank you for training me. You’re amazing as always. I need a bath and to talk to my sister. I’ll see you at dinner.” Mileena said. She continued to wipe away her sweat as she left. Mileena could feel Tanya’s eyes on her.

xxx-Thirty Minutes Later-Inside The Palace-The Bath Area-xxx

Both Mileena and her twin sister Kitana were sitting in the huge bathtub, soaking in the water. She really needed a bath, especially after all of that training. It helped soothe her sore muscles. Mileena glanced over at Kitana out of the corner of her eyes, trying to figure out how to word the question she wanted to ask her. Which was one of the reasons why she had suggested she and Kitana share a bath together in the first place.

“Mileena, I can literally feel you thinking. If you want to talk, you know that I’m always here for you, no matter what. You’re my sister and I love you.” Kitana said. She reached over to give Mileena’s shoulder a reassuring squeeze. All Kitana wanted was to help her twin whenever she could.

“I’ve only recently realized something about myself, but I had no idea who to talk to about it. But you’re my sister, so I figured that you can give me the best advice. I’m pretty sure I’m bisexual and I like Tanya as more than just a friend. It’s just that this is all very new for me. Especially since I’ve never dated another woman before and I don’t know how to go about telling Tanya I have feelings for her.” Mileena replied. She was nervous right before she just started talking. Mileena felt way better now.

“You know, that makes a lot of sense. I’ve definitely noticed the way you two look at each other. I do have eyes after all. Although if you do end up dating Tanya, you both have to be extremely careful due to the Umgadi vows. I promise that I won’t say anything to anyone. And as far as advice goes, wait until you’re alone with her, then tell her that you have a crush on her. I know that's a pretty simple way of doing it, but I think it’s also the best way because it’s simple.” Kitana said. She was easily able to tell that a heavy weight had been lifted off of Mileena's shoulders. Kitan felt good about that piece of advice.

“I like it. I’ll do exactly that. I’ll tell Tanya the truth next week since she said she’ll train with me again this coming Wednesday. It will just be me and her at the training grounds.” Mileena said. She couldn’t wait, but she knew that she had to do some planning before then, which included guaranteeing Tanya would pay special attention to her before telling her she liked her. And she had some ideas to make that happen.

“That’s a great idea. Don’t forget to give me all the details when you come back. But please leave out the sexy parts. I have no desire to know about your sex life someday.” Kitana replied. Although she had a feeling that Mileena and Tanya would most likely have sex. Kitana had nothing against it. She loved Mileena, she just didn’t want picture her sister fucking anyone.

“Heh, I promise that I’ll keep all of the sexy bits to myself. I think we should get ready for dinner and I would rather not have Mother upset at us.” Mileena said. She climbed out of the tub, grabbing her towel in the process. Mileena quickly dried herself off, then got dressed in clean clothes. She noticed Kitana was doing the same thing.

xxx-After Dinner-Several Hours Later-Mileena’s Private Bedroom-xxx

Mileena combed her hair, getting all the knots out of it. It wasn’t something she did every night, only every few days. She set the comb down on her vanity table, taking a deep breath prior to getting on her bed and under the covers.

All of Mileena’s dreams for the past three years have featured Tanya. Most of them were sex dreams and when Mileena woke up, her face was usually bright red and she was so turned on, it nearly drove her insane until she jerked off at least once before bathing and getting ready for the day.

Those dreams never stopped even when she realized why she was having them in the first place and they would probably never go away anyway, not that Mileena thought that they were bad dreams to begin with. She loved those dreams. They were great. Mileena tossed and turned for a while before she finally fell asleep.

Mileena deflected Tanya’s punch, countering with a round kick that made Tanya duck. The two women went back and forth like that for the better part of two hours. By the time they were finished sparring/training, Mileena was drenched in her own sweat and panting for breath, she knew the other woman was too. She stared at her for a moment before she smiled softly.

“Tanya, we’ve been friends for so long and I’m so grateful to know you. And I recently realized that my feelings for you have changed to something more. If you feel the same, I’ll love to court you.” Mileena said. She watched how Tanya’s eyes widened in shock, then became full of love and adoration. Mileena breathed a sigh of relief.

“Princess, nothing else would make me happier than to be both your bestfriend and your lover. But you do know that we have to be extremely careful. Nobody else can know we’re together. We can still show our love for each other in private, at least you become Empress and abolish the Umgadi celibacy vows. I don’t care for them anymore than you do.” Tanya replied. She didn’t want to presume what Mileena would do once she was Empress, although she knew that Mieena felt the same way she did about certain laws, like the one she just mentioned. Tanya had hoped she and Mileena could always be happily together without anything bad happening to either of them.

“I know, Dearest Tanya. I'll get rid of those ridiculous celibacy vows when I become Empress. It will be the right thing to do for us, the rest of Outworld and the other members of the Umgadi.” Mileena said. She reached out with one hand to gently grasp at Tanya’s hand, their fingers intertwining. It felt like home to Mileena and she could tell that Tanya was thinking the exact same thing.
