Mileena was sitting on Kitana’s bed, waiting for her sister to return. She was going to tell her that she and Tanya are dating now. Mileena did promise Kitana she would, but the two sisters had been so busy lately with their duties as the Princesses of Outworld that she didn’t get a chance until that night to do so.
She heard the door open and Mileena turned around just in time to see it was Kitana. Mileena watched as Kitana walked over to her and sat down next to her on her own bed. She was about to tell her younger sister about what happened with Tanya earlier that day, but Kitana spoke first.
“I know you told Tanya you like her. I mean, we did talk about it after all. So how did it go, sister? Did you two have any fun or just talk?” Kitana said. She wiggled her eyebrows in a suggestive way, which caused her sister to blush bright red. Kitana chuckled softly at her older sister’s reaction.
“I did. And it went great. I wanted to kiss her, but I didn’t know if that’s what Tanya wanted. I’ll wait until the next time we’re alone and I’ll ask her then.” Mileena said. She was a bit sad that she didn’t get a kiss. Mileena was just glad she and Tanya were together. At least she had that going for her.
“I’m happy for you, Mileena. I promise I won’t tell Mother. She would be upset since the Umgadi have a celibacy vow and all.” Kitana replied. She pulled Mileena into a hug, letting her twin sister know how much she loved and cared for her. Kitana would do anything for her.
“Thank you, Kitana. I appreciate that. Do you think a picnic date is okay? That’s what I was thinking Tanya and I’s first date would be. I have only gone on a couple dates, but they were very boring and stuffy. I don’t want that to happen in this new relationship that I’m in with Tanya.” Mileena said. She was committed to making Tanya forever. Mileena had no intention of letting it get ruined by anyone or anything if she could help it.
“Sister, a picnic date sounds amazing. I’ll get all of the food and the basket for it. All you have to do is ask Tanya if she wants to do that. Although, I’m pretty positive she’ll say yes. No alcohol. You’re a lightweight.” Kitana replied. She giggled when Mileena playfully hit her shoulder while laughing. She knew that would make her laugh.
“Okay, okay. No getting drunk. I don’t even like alcohol to begin with. I’ll talk to Tanya about the picnic date tomorrow. For now though, I want to read a book before I go to sleep.” Mileena said. She got up from the bed, then leaned down to kiss Kitana on the cheek. Mileena left her sister’s room, walking across the hallway to her own room where she would be for the rest of the night.

Mileena noticed Tanya getting up from her usual seat with the rest of the Umgadi. She caught her gaze and she signaled her with a hand motion, telling her to come with her. Mileena strolled out of the room, knowing that Tanya was following right behind her, due to her hearing the other woman’s footsteps.
When she found a secluded corner, Mileena gently grabbed Tanya’s arm. She pulled her close to her. Mileena leaned forward to kiss her sweetly on her cheek, which caused her to blush. Mileena always thought that Tanya was one of the most beautiful women she had ever known, whether she was blushing or not.
“Tanya, will you go on a picnic lunch date with me today? Are sandwiches and juice okay or is there something else you want to eat?” Mileena asked. She just wanted to make sure that everything was going to be damn near perfect for their very first date as a couple. Mileena didn’t want anything to go wrong in any sort of way if she could help it.
“A picnic sounds amazing. Sandwiches and juice are more than okay with me, but having some fruit and chocolate would make it even better. And as much as I’ll love to stay with you right here, I don’t want to get caught.” Tanya said. She kissed Mileena on her jaw. Tanya loved the way Mileena blushed in that instant.
“You’re right. Come to the Palace Garden at noon. I’ll have our food with me then. I’m having Kitana pick out the food from the kitchen for us. I’ll see you later, Dearest Tanya” Mileena replied. She looked around them to see if there was anyone else nearby before she winked Tanya and sashayed away, putting in some extra sway to her hips to give her lover a bit of a show. Mileena glanced behind her to see that Tanya wasn’t there anymore. She only had to wait a little over two hours until she would see Tanya again. Mileena knew she could wait that long.

Mileena didn’t have to wait long for Kitana to bring her the picnic basket full of food for her date with Tanya. The sisters shared a quick hug before Kitana told her about the different kinds of food she packed for them.
“There’s plenty of chocolate and fruit in there like you said Tanya wanted, along with several sandwiches, cheeses, juice and some other kinds of food too. I hope you two enjoy it.” Kitana said. She was just happy she was able to help Mileena out. Kitana wished she could do more though. Maybe someday.
“Thank you. This is great. I really can’t wait. Today is going to be fantastic.” Mileena replied. She hugged Kitana once more, then she watched as her sister left to go to lunch with her friend Jade. Mileena wondered if there was something going on between the two of them. Those were thoughts for another day. And if there were, she had a feeling Kitana would tell her.
Mileena wasn’t by herself for very long. Tanya arrived close to lunchtime. She greeted Mileena with a hug. Mileena loved the way Tanya hugged her. Tanya’s hugs made her feel things she loved feeling.
“I smelled the food all the way from the Temple. It smells really good. Let’s get going.” Tanya
said. She reached out to grab Mileena’s hand, the one that wasn’t holding the basket and she laced their fingers together. Tanya loved how perfectly their fingers fit like that.
“Yes, let’s go. I don’t want the food getting cold since some of it is cooked.” Mileena replied. She led Tanya out of the Garden and through the woods to a clearing where hardly anyone visited. They could stay there for a quite a while without being bothered. Mileena didn’t hate people, she just wanted to spend some much-needed alone time with Tanya.
