Last Time: Groaning, Sora slowly sat himself up. He wasn't sure what happened, but his head hurt like hell.

“You're finally awake.” A voice said to the left of him, slightly startling him. “Who… who's there.” He stuttered.

“Relax Sora, it's just me, Kagome.” Kagome answered.

“So you got captured too.”

“Yea.” Kagome replied.

“How long have I been out?” Sora asked, rubbing his head where it hurt the most.

“Only a few hours, but get up. We need to figure out a way to escape this place. Especially before Kagura or Hakudoshi come back.”

Chapter Six

“We're getting closer. This place reeks of Naraku.” Inu Yasha stated as he continued to jump from tree to tree with Kairi on his back. He had to strain through the deep mist so as to not harm Kairi.

After discovering that Kagome was missing not too long after Sora was taken, Inu Yasha and the others quickly took off. Hopefully their two friends were still okay, but it was hard to say since they were kidnapped by Naraku.

Growling, Inu Yasha jumped down from the trees he was leaping through and set Kairi down. Pulling out is tetsaiga, Inu Yasha prepared to attack. It was bad enough that Kouga was here, he sure as hell did not want him here.

“What is it Inu Yasha?” Miroku asked as Kirira landed onto the ground.

“What do you want Sesshomaru?” Inu Yasha roughly asked, pointing his sword in the direction where he smelt Sesshomaru, completely ignoring Miroku.

“What does it matter to you half - breed.” Sesshomaru responded, walking ahead of Inu Yasha and the others.

“Why you damn bastard…” Inu Yasha started on the verge of attacking. “Inu Yasha, don't be brash, we are all allies here.” Miroku said trying to stop Inu Yasha from doing anything too hasty.

“Keh. Like we need his stupid help.” Inu Yasha growled.

“Don't be stupid Inu Yasha. We need all the help we can get.” Sango scolded, getting off of Kirira.

“Listen to the ____, Inu Yasha.” Sesshomaru stated a slight smirk on his face. “Just stay out of my way.”

“Keh, just remember to stay out of my way.” Inu Yasha growled. Lifting tetsaiga, it soon began to turn red as he brought it down in one swift move.

Slowly waking through the dimly lit halls of Naraku's castle, Kagome ignored Sora's questioning looks, as she tried to navigate their way through Naraku's latest castle.

“Hey are you sure we're heading in the right direction.” Sora questioned, once he and Kagome had successfully and safely managed to escape the damp room they were both being held prisoner in.

“Nope.” Kagome nonchalantly answered; completely unaware of the glare Sora was now giving her. They had barely managed to escape the two demon guards outside of their room, and she wanted to make sure that they didn't get caught now.

So far she hadn't detect any demonic auras, but that didn't mean that there were none around, they were after all in Naraku's castle and his aura gave off a huge surge of demonic energy that could be covering others.

“Keep on your toes Sora, who knows what kind of trouble we might get into, especially if we get caught.” Kagome hurriedly whispered to Sora.

Nodding his head in response, Sora made sure to keep an eye out for any signs of danger. They were in enemy territory and he didn't want to let Kagome down.

“Hey do you see that ahead.” Kagome spoke, interrupting Sora of his musings, pointing at some mysterious object up ahead.

“Yea, what do you think it is?” Sora questioned, also pointing at the three shadowy figures in the distance that were slowly coming closer.

“I don't know. But whoever they are, they each have a jewel shard.”

“So we're gonna fight?”

“Looks like it. Think you can handle it?” Kagome teased, sending a grin Sora's way.

“I reckon I can.” He smiled back

“Good. Now should we just charge or do a sneak attack. Sora wha…” Kagome started until she saw Sora already rushing into battle. “Charge it is then.”

“Fire!” Sora yelled, bringing light into the dark hallway. Looking up at their foes, Sora was shocked to see Goofy, Donald and some other boy who looked around his age that he hadn't met before. “Goofy… Donald.” He stuttered.

“You know them.” Kagome inquired, lowering her bow. “Kohaku is that you?”

“Hey Goofy, Donald where have ya been?” When they didn't answer, Sora repeated his question, gradually approaching Goofy and Donald.

Watching them closely Kagome suddenly noticed something peculiar, “Sora get away from them!”

“What? Why?” Sora questioned, coming to an abrupt stop in front of Goofy, Donald, and Kohaku.

“Get away from them.” Kagome repeated. When Sora took his eyes off of them to turn around and face her to repeat his earlier questions, Kagome noticed a flash of movement. Acting quickly, she swiftly pushed Sora down to the ground, herself following suit, but not before getting grazed by a scythe.

Grabbing Sora's arm, Kagome dragged him a way's away from them as Donald attempted to shoot a fireball at them.

Ignoring the pain in her arm, Kagome explained, “There's a jewel shard imbedded in your friends, and they're tainted.”

“Is there anything we can do to help them?” Sora asked, not wanting to get into a fight with his friends.

“Just try and knock the shards off of their foreheads and I'll deal with the rest.” Kagome answered, wrapping her bleeding arm with a piece of torn cloth she had just torn from the hem of her shirt. Luckily the cut wasn't all deep.

“Alright.” Sora said bracing himself to begin fighting with his friends.

“So it seems that all the pieces are all set in place.” A dark figure chuckled, “Kagura why don't you go check up on our wolf friends.”

“Yes master.” Kagura spat out. For now she would bide her time until just the right moment came.

“And you Hakudoshi, why don't you and your little pet go pay a visit to our visiting lord.” Naraku ordered.

Not bothering to respond, Hakudoshi and his horse Entai walked silently out of the room. He'd enjoy bringing a demon of Sesshomaru's status to his knees, begging for his pitiful life.

Once the room was empty of all his subordinates, Naraku turned around to face a hooded person from behind him. “Now please continue I am curious of this keyhole you speak of.”

Sniffing the air, Inu Yasha took a short look around, before continuing to walk forward. After the group had entered Naraku's castle they had decided to split up. Instead of the usual Sango and Miroku splitting up together, Sango had decided to go with Kairi and Kirira, Sesshomaru went his way, and he was stuck with the perverted monk. Well at least he wasn't stuck with that dumb wolf like Riku.

“Inu Yasha, can you sense Lady Kagome or Sora anywhere?” Miroku inquired.

“I can smell their scents but it's too faint to actually pick up on.” Inu Yasha answered, readying his sword in case or a surprise attack.

Just as he said this a rather tall demon soon appeared before him and Miroku. And as soon as he appeared, another demon about two heads taller appeared right next to him.

The shorter of the two was broadly built with short and spiky dark blue hair. His eyes were a deep scarlet, just like Naraku's. The one next to him had the same color hair, except his was longer and was pulled into a low ponytail. His eyes were a lighter shade of scarlet.

“You must be the mutt and the cursed monk.” The shorter one of the two smirked.

“Who the hell are you calling a mutt?” Inu Yasha yelled brisling at the mutt comment.

“Are you that dense you pathetic half - breed?” The tall one coolly replied.

“Just who are you guys?” Miroku inquired.

“Where are my manors?” The short demon smiled wickedly, “My name is Hitoshi and the demon besides me is Keisuke. Now die!” The demon now known as Hitoshi yelled, pulling out a long katana rushing Inu Yasha.

“Be careful Kairi, I can sense the presence of many demons around. Try not to let your guard down.” Sango warned Kairi, keeping an eye out for demons.

Nodding her head in response, Kairi only raised her keyblade higher and slightly inched closer to Kirira and Sango. She didn't want to show it, but she was deeply scared, but she had to be strong. She just hoped that Sora was okay.

“Kairi duck!” Sango yelled dropping to the ground as knives came rushing by. Pulling out her katana, Sango stood back up, deflecting a blade aimed at her head.

Soon other lower demons started to appear engaging Kairi and Kirira in battle. Still deflecting the knives, Sango looked for the source of the knives. Catching a flash of movements, Sango grabbed her Hi____ and threw it towards the source.

“So who are you exactly and how do you know my Kagome?” Kouga asked Riku, leading him, Ginta, and Hakkau where he smelt faint traces of Kagome.

“My name's Riku, and how I met Kagome is none of your business.” Riku answered coolly not liking how possessive Kouga sounded about Kagome.

Growling, Kouga was about to retort when he suddenly picked up on the scent of blood, but not just any blood. Ignoring Riku, Ginta, and Hakkau's questioning looks, Kouga suddenly sped off, only to be stopped by three mini tornadoes blocking his way.

“Kagura.” Kouga spat out as if it were venom.

“Well it seems the wolf - boy had remembered my name.” Kagura replied, preparing on attacking again, not even noticing the three bystanders.

“Go to hell wench.”

“I'll see you there.” Kagura smirked, “Dance of the dragon!”

Blocking her attack, Kouga called out, “You three go ahead. Kagome is in trouble. I'll handle this wind wench.”

Nodding their head, Ginta and Hakkau dragged off Riku in the direction where they also smelt Kagome. But before they could get away from them, Kagura spotted them and surprisingly all she did was send a weak wind blade their way before returning to battling with Kouga.

Not bothering to stop and ponder over this, Hakkau pushed Riku and Ginta forward, saying that he was going to go back and help Kouga.

Nodding their head, Ginta and Riku took off, but not before taking one last look back. Riku may not have liked Kouga but he did fell a sort of respect for him.

AN: You know what I was just watching Bleach, and now I believe I'm a Chad fan. He's just so cool. But I might only be thinking this because he's Mexican and so am I, or it could be that he's the silent type and I'm a sucker for taciturn guys. Besides the name Chad just sounds so cool to me ^_^
