Kagome stared at the iridescent orb she held in wonder, at first glance it looked pink but tilting the head or the jewel itself resulting in a blue, green, or white shine. Naraku was gone, Inuyasha had finally gone to hell with Kikyou peacefully, she understood that even though she loved him, she was destined to find someone she loved even more, Inuyasha belonged to Kikyou, and she fully accepted it. Sango and Miroku were set to be engaged, and Shippou left to live with them at the re-constructed Demon Slayer's Village.
She felt so, useless now, even if she had control of her powers she wasn't using them for good! She had been studying with Kaede, and Miroku even sent her scrolls containing instructions, rich in details about sealing spells, purifying different demons, or even areas of a human body to remove poison or miasma. She found that with being the jewel's guardian her powers were significantly increased. With ease she was able to deflect curses like Kikyou hard, channel her energy into her palms, she could use Shikigami (Exp: the two girls Kikyou created, that carried her bows and arrows).
She could charge her abilities into a person's system, paralyzing them without any pain. Her "Hama no reiryoku" (Priestess powers) could even be used to do damage to the human body, seeking to purify any negativity in their system, it didn't do as much damage as it would if it were a demon, but it still worked. She could also do a Mayose for many low level demons who only drew strength from their numbers. (Exp: The tree Kikyou used against the rat-hoard).
((Basically, she has a stronger version of Kikyou's abilities, The whole "Demon Slayer Kagome" is good but I just cant see it working for this story))
The priestess sighed, rising from her position on the hardwood floor in Kaede's hut, she put on her backpack, and her bow, the one Kaede gave her as a gift to celebrate the completion of her training, it was made from bamboo, stained black with Yin and Yang pained on the face of the upper and lower limb of the bow. It took a while to explain to Kaede what Yin and Yang was, it being of Chinese origin. The string was made from silk and resin from the God Tree that Inuyasha was pinned too. She then attached her Wakizashi to her waist.
She couldn't wear Kikyou's priestess outfit, after all this time. Instead, she adopted a new uniform, her shirt resembled the top of a Chinese Dress, with the short sleeves and complicated knots, it had a red trim with a red diamond, encasing a gold Chrysanthemum blossom. To complete this, she wore black pants to assist in a quick escape. (Think Gaara's pants in Shippuden)
With everything in check she set off towards the well, there were no demons in her time, maybe. Now that she was sure everyone was situated in the past, and she knew that IF a demon showed up she could most definitely take care of it, it was time to move on, of course she planned on visiting every now and then, but first she had to focus on getting her life back. Sitting on the edge of the well, her portal through time, her savior in many ways, yet a curse under certain circumstances, what would have happened if the well never worked? What if it decided it didn't want her to go, specifically? Nonsense, if it wasn't her then who? Souta? No, she would rather it be her that saw demon attacks and death every day, with that thought, she would gladly take his place.
As her mind continued to wander if was only when she got a rushing feeling, that was more....intense than usual, normally the well would give you that stomach-floating feeling that you get when you're in a car and the driver happens to be a person who believes it is their soul purpose to be the next big nascar racer, going up and down a hill as they talked about how the feeling was wimpy compared to a roller coaster they had gone on last year... Then it hit sudden and hard her chest was solid like a rock, her lungs felt like they shrank to the size of a bottle cap, the only thing she could feel then was her heart beating rapidly, as she gasped trying to inhale the precious gas that gave her life.
She had the wind knocked out of her, and then it felt bitingly cold, if she were in a room she could imagine ice starting to form along the corners and cracks of the walls, hearing the ice snapping. Red, a hallucination? Souls? Mutated fireflies? Thousands of red orbs, engulfing her in a nice sense of warmth and calm. Oh, that's where they were from, the well, it normally had blue lights but- wait. Red lights?! Snapping her head up in shock the world as she knew it fell apart.
She saw blue- the sky. She saw white- the clouds, everywhere, which way was up or down? The wind howled in her ear as if angry that she had dared enter it's territory, turning around again she discovered which way gravity was throwing her too, doing what she was taught she did not panic, she didn't scream. Curling into a ball, the priestess closed her eyes and concentrated on erecting a barrier around her person to survive the impact.

"Oh my-!!! Look!" Temari shouted, pointing at a glowing pink sphere that seemed to be skyrocketing, its destination seemed to be right where they were standing. "Is there a person in there?!" a random Chuunin asking, unable to take her eyes off of the orb. "It's heading right for us! run!" he Chuunin's friend called, dragging her friend by the hand.
People weren't evacuating in time, taking her fan out Temari sent a blast of wind at the object, hoping to deflect it, no such luck. She pulled her fan back, getting ready to try using a whirlwind when the globe crashed, right in front of them, kicking up a large cloud of smoke. Temari released another gust of wind, ridding the area of the dust.
There stood a girl, a little shaken, but completely unscathed save for a few cuts on her arms. She looked around, seeming completely lost, she then turned her head to the sky, and like any sane psycho who just fell from the sky in a pink bubble would do, she started yelling at the stormy clouds that covered Konoha.
"Oh come on! Where am I NOW!?" The raven-haired girl demanded, pointing at the sky, "You took me from my friends and family AGAIN?! You know what, fine! I'll just find my own way back home! Forget you! Forget your stupid time-dimension-changing ways! And forget the reason why you brought me here because I'm not doing anything! So you might as well send me home NOW." The girl yelled, looking at the sky like it would answer, all she got was thunder. "Fine" she said turning back around to face the sand siblings, minus one, she began to step out of her personal crater when she found herself back on the ground again.

After her tirade against the sky, Kagome decided to march around, find whoever was in charge, and find a way to get home, but as soon as she tried to take one step a sharp pain overcame her leg, like a sharp rod pierced right through her. Getting down she lifted her pant leg up to reveal a VERY bloody leg, checking her other leg it was in the same condition. "Ow, just....ow" Kagome said, still blaming this on the inanimate object that brought her here. "Don't move miss, we'll find you a medicnin" a blonde said, who sported a giant fan. "Medicnin?" Kagome asked, like she was making up some weird word. The girl just looked at her like she was crazy, "Well, since the word "medic" is in it I guess you mean somebody who will heal me, no need, I have it under control" she said, smiling, holding up her hand in a comforting gesture.
Taking her left hand, her most magically powerful hand, she placed it over her ankle, a purple-pink light came forth, the wound closing in mere seconds. She repeated the process with her other ankle, then stood up, taping her toes on the ground to make sure they were okay. "See? I'm perfectly fine no need to bother anybod-" Kagome was cut off by the blonde girl. "How did you do that!? Chakra is blue! And medicnin use green shousen chakra to heal! Why is your chakra pink!?" It was Kagome's turn to look at her like she was insane. "What's Chakra?" she asked, staring at the blond, wondering if she'd fallen into an insane asylum.
Looking around Kagome noticed allot of people staring and commenting about what or who she was, and most importantly, if her head was screwed on straight. Looking a bit nervous Kagome turned her attention to the blond with the red-haired man, mentally deciding she would nick-name the girl "Blonde-Sango" and the red-head "Red-Sessho" due to the giant weapon on the girls part, and the stoic face on the boy's part. She held out her hand "MY name's Kagome Higurashi, would you mind if we sort of...." she looked at the gosspiping people again "...talked about this, somewhere else? Please?"
Blonde-Sango sighed, nodding and motioning to Kagome to follow her, they started walking towards a red building, the Administration building, where the Hokage was, buried in paperwork and wondering who the heck made a miniature crater in her village.
