I know for the Manga Inuyasha and Kagome do end up together in the past for keeps, and Sango and Miroku get 3 kids, 2 girls and a boy, and the Shikon was sealing Kagome's powers but...I never read the manga, so I can't base the story off of it, as much as I'd like too. (not enough money...) We're going Anime-style here! I haven't watched all of the episodes of Naruto either, admittedly, there were too many! But I have the gist of it, and I'm keeping up with Shippuden quite well, I also have a lovely information site located here: http://www.leafninja.com/index.php if I'm using any wrong info let me know!

Kankuro sat in one of the many rooms within the Administration Building, and he could tell you, with complete sincerity, that watching this girl go about, flitting around the room. Was completely and utterly annoying, sure if she hadn't mastered the multi-ask-like art of walking AND talking it would be a different story. But no, that was most defibitely not the alternate universe story, instead she was walking around the room, pointing at places in books and asking annoying questions that nay person with a brain would know.
"Hey hey! what's a Kekkei Genkai?" she asked, giving him a pleading look "You asked that three times already!" he answered with complete annoyance. "I know, but I don't get it!" she said, ringing her hand through her hair, then flipping it in one motion, from years of practice he thought, noting she only did that when she made a point that demanded attention. "It's a special thing people get and it's passed down through your family! Geeze!" Why did Temari and Gaara have to be reporting the situation to the Hokage? WHY did they put her in a room filled with books, why was he watching her?
All he had done was babysitting from dawn to now, first he had to sit and watch Sakura the girl who saved him from poison. He felt like he owed her that much, since she herself was infected with some poison that nobody had heard of. Flipping a page in the book he held about deadly poisons, he was reminded about his mission. He knew about poison, using it all the time in his work,he decided he would be the one to find the cure, as she had done for him.

Kagome peeked over the book this guy, Kankuro was it? had "What're you reading?" she asked innocently, with the full intention of using her new "nosey" demeanor. "I'm looking up information to try and cure a poison" he answered, trying to make his voice sound like his younger brother Gaara's, and failing miserably. "Why?" she chirped "Because a friend of mine is hurt badly by some and nobody knows what kind it is" he repeated, trying to sound monotonous. "What's it like?" she asked, innocently. "It's sort of purple and wispy..." as he described it he noticed her eyes widening more and more.
"What's wrong with you?" He asked, probably thinking its another annoying question Kagome thought. "Nothing, I just think I know what the poison is you're talking about and I think I can-.." she was cut off by Kankuro "Really?! How!?" he demanded, standing up instantly, throwing his book down. Kagome nervously answered "Well, it's sort of something only I can do...Plus I'm not sure if it's the poison you're talking about" she finished up quickly, not wanting to anger her new friends should she fail.

A knock on the door came and in a flash Kankuro was there answering it, there was the Hokage, his older sister, and his younger brother, probably here to question her. "Hokage Tsunade-sama!" Kankuro started, getting her attention, "Kagome says she thinks she might recognize the poison in Sakura's body, she thinks she can cure it!" he said excitedly, the Hokage snapped her attention to the girl, with questioning eyes, picking apart her clothes, weapons, and looks. Trying to ascertain how she could if she claimed to be from another world.
Kagome didn't even seem to be bothered by the Sannin's gaze "I think I can, it might be a poison I've seen and pur-...cured before, I can't be sure until I check." she said, looking the Hokage straight in the eye when her eyes tightened from the correction she made about purifying. "Fine...follow me" she said, walking off to a room, looking back only once to be sure the Sand Siblings were behind the strange girl carrying her large bag, boxing her in.
Once they opened the door to Sakura's room, near the Hokage's office Kagome rushed to Sakura's side, immediately pulling the bandaged back to assess the wound with the determination that gleamed years of experience. She took one look at the wound and nodded. "It's Miasma alright." she declared, setting the bandaged off to the side. "Miasma?" Tsunade asked, the tension clear in her voice. "It's a type of poison that this really bad guy in my dimension made, he would use it to kill people, and if they injured him it was in his body so it would infect them instantly" Kagome explained as she started pulling Sakura's clothes back so she could get a better shot at the wound.
"Can you cure it?" Kankuro asked, hopefully. "Yes, I can purify it, just give me a second." Kagome said, completely forgetting she used the "P" word, clenching her hand into a fist, it was instantly encased in a soft, purple-pink glow, opening her palm Kagome pressed it to Sakura's wound. The pink-haired girl instantly winced in pain Tsunade was next to Kagome in a matter of seconds, waiting for a wrong move, the sand siblings were right after her. After moments of struggling Sakura calmed a bit and Kagome took her hand away. "There!" she stated, happy she could be of use, Sakura's eyes fluttered open, she groaned, trying to get back up, only to be stopped by Tsunade.
"Rest, Sakura." she ordered, Sakura obliged Tsunade then spun to face Kagome. "What was that? You didn't use Shousen Chakra, and you said "purify" what does that mean? Is that a Kekkei Genkai?" Kagome sighed, "I don't know what Chakra is, but it's Hama no reiryoku, holy energy that I can use to heal, and purify demons, miasma, that sort of stuff..." she answered trailing off. "Hey! What's Kekkei Genkai?" she asked Kankuro, with a sly, knowing smile that spoke mischief and grief for the recipient. Kankuro groaned "I explained it four times already!" he snapped "I know~ I just don't get it though!" she said jokingly.
Kankuro glared "You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?" he said, annoyed. "Maaaaybe" Kagome retorted innocently "But on the bright side, you can think of this as training!" she said proudly, glad she picked that up from Sango, who related anything she did when to training her abilities just too annoy her. "Training for what?!" he asked, clearly peeved "For when you have kids, for dealing with obnoxious children, to help with annoying students that you might have..." Kagome went on, ticking each point off with her finger. Kankuro just sighed, already finding the "Annoying Sisters" part true to this girl already.
Temari smiled, liking this girl already. "Hey, what're your names any ways? I know Kankuro's...but I don't know any of yours, I'm stuck with giving you guys nick-named in my head" Kagome asked, sheepishly admitting her mental nice-name use. "Eh? What nick name did you give me?" Temari asked, curious now. "Well, I nick-named you after my friend, Sango, because you have a big weapon on your back. Sango had this giant Boomerang that she always carried on her back, too" Temari was even more curious now, "Your friend had a large boomerang?"
"Yeah!" Kagome said happily, digging through her backpack and producing a large book, flipping through several pages she gave a cry of triumph and skipped over to Temari to show her, pointing at a picture. They all got closer to take a look, she was pointing at a picture of a girl with her hair up in a ponytail, looking rather angry at a boy with short, black hair carrying a staff, she looked like she was about to use the Giant Boomerang she had strapped to her back. Next too it was a picture of five people with a cat.
The boy in red strangely had cat ears on his head, Kagome pointed to him, explaining "That's Inuyasha, he was a bit of a jerk, but he really cared, he was a half demon, who was in love with Kikyou, they were tricked into thinking they betrayed each other by Naraku" moving onto the brown haired girl she went on with her introduction. "That's Sango-chan, she's a Demon Slayer, but because of Naraku, that bad guy I mentioned earlier that uses Miasma to poison people her clan was tricked, they were all killed, and only her and her brother were left, her brother was being controlled by Naraku, though" she said, with a sigh. Gliding her finger over to the black haired man she gave a summary of him.
"That's Miroku, he's a leacher but now him and Sango are together! Naraku put a hole through his grandfathers hand and cursed him, when he took those prayer beads off a vortex of wind opened up sucking in everything in its path, every year the hole would get bigger and bigger until it consumed him or until Naraku died. You could say it's like the Kekkei Genkai with, since it's passed down from father to son. Then she moved onto a boy with a fox tail, eating a lollipop. "That's Shippou, he's like a younger brother too me, his parents were killed by two demons known as the Thunder Brothers, but we avenged their deaths and he stayed with us" she said with a smile.
"Those are my friends, or, were, they're like a family too me but since that damn well dropped me in the middle of the SKY I doubt I'll every get home..." she continued, looking sad and peeved at the same time. "What well?" Gaara asked, talking to Kagome for the first time. She didn't know why, but she blushed, turning a page she pointed to a picture of a well. "That's the Bone Eater's Well, it was basically a portal from my time period to the Feudal Era, which was 500 years in the past from my original home, it was a portal only Inuyasha and I could use, Sango, Miroku, Inuyasha, and Shippou were all from the past but I still miss them." she said, smiling at Gaara. "By the way you guys never told me your names."
"I'm Temari!" Temari responded first, cheerfully. "Tsunade" the Hokage replied, calmly. "Gaara" the Kazekage replied monotonously. Kagome and Temari smiled, glad they made a new friend, Kankuro looked a bit worried, thinking Kagome and Temari would form some odd team to cause annoying havoc upon the world. Tsunade went back to work, the information Kagome gave her still swimming in her head. Gaara appeared to not care all that much, his eyes never leaving the puzzle known as Kagome, he knew she was leaving some other important subjects out, he just had to find out what.

Sometimes I think I'm only cut out for one shots since when I continue a story it seems to get worse and worse, or I forget it, or I don't feel like writing it.... u.u;
