Chapter 40 My Dream and my Destiny

Naruto's apartment

 

 

 

The leaf ninjas were back at Tokyo, Naruto Sasuke and Sakura return to their apartments they wanted to pack their things before heading back to Konoha. Sasuke pack his things including his cd player along with the cd's that Naruto and Sakura gave him for Christmas and also some cd's that Yunoichi gave him. He admitted that he liked being in Tokyo because he had well fun and he had enjoy spending more time with Naruto Sakura and the senshis especially since he and Sakura are a couple now, he looked at Naruto who was slowly packing his things including the Nintendo Gamecube and the games he gave him a confused look.

 

“Why are you packing Naruto aren't you going to stay?” Sasuke said puzzle

 

Naruto twitch after hearing that he continued to pack his things without looking at the Uchiha” I……I think…..I……” he paused

 

Sasuke smirk” so now you don't know if you want to stay is that it?”

 

Naruto growl a little” I….I don't know I want to stay but I also want to go to Konoha, damn this is so frustrating” he threw his arms in the air

 

“Well I suggest that you make up your mind soon because were going to the temple to say goodbye to the senshis” Sasuke said trying to hide his sad tone

 

Naruto nodded sadly he finish packing, the door opened and Kakashi and Sakura enter Sakura had packed her things in a small bag she was holding she also had a sad look on her face because she was really gonna miss Tokyo and the senshis and second the fact that Naruto might stay she couldn't bring herself to give a small smile at all.

 

“So it has finally come were returning to Konoha” Sakura said in a sad tone

 

Naruto only became more depressed after hearing that while Sasuke just sighed in return.

 

“I know this is hard on all of you but we have to go back to the village we have already made Hokagesama wait long enough” Kakashi said

 

“Yeah we should go to the temple” Sasuke said

 

“Now the hardest part comes saying goodbye” Sakura said sadly

 

“Its never easy to say goodbye to people who have become close friends with you” Kakashi said

 

Naruto took the bag that had the Gamecube and the games, he had a small bag on his other hand in the bag there was the sweater that Usagi gave him for Christmas and the wrist watch that Hotaru gave him for Christmas he gave them to Sasuke.

 

“Here Sasuke can you carried my things with you to the temple, there some places I want to go first” Naruto said

 

“Sure I guess” Sasuke said as he took Naruto's things

 

Sakura blink(hey is Naruto coming with us?)

 

“Don't wander too long Naruto” Kakashi said

 

Naruto nodded and left the apartment, Sakura went to Sasuke” Sasukekun is Naruto coming with us?” she said in a hopeful tone

 

“He still hasn't made up his mind yet” Sasuke said

 

“Oh” Sakura said sadly” I don't want him to stay”

 

“I know” Sasuke reply sadly

 

“There is nothing that we can do if Naruto chooses to stay then its his choice so we should respect it” Kakashi said

 

The two ninjas nodded slowly they knew Kakashi was right even if they didn't wanted Naruto to stay.

 

“We should go to the temple” Sasuke said

 

They nodded and left the apartment

 

 

 

At Usagi's house

 

 

 

Naruto stood in front of the door to Usagi's house he sighed before ringing the door bell, he heard a coming from inside the house when the door was open Ikuko came she smile seeing the blond ninja.

 

“Oh Kyosan hi Usagi's not here she's at the temple” Ikuko said

 

“I know I just came to see you guys” Naruto said

 

“Who is it dear?” Kenji said as he appeared next to her” oh Kyosan hi”

 

Shingo then appeared” hey its Kyo how are you?”

 

Naruto smile” Im fine I came to see you guys”

 

“Oh how sweet wanna come in?” Ikuko said

 

“Its al right Ikukochan Im not staying too long” Naruto said

 

“Oh come on Ill make you some cookies” Ikuko said with a playful grin

 

(Mmm cookies) Naruto thought while drooling he finally snap back to reality” well…..I guess its al right if I come in”

 

Naruto enter the house and then Shingo gave him a smile” hey Kyo that outfit you're wearing it so cool”

 

Naruto blink and that's when he gasp he forgot that he was still wearing his ninja uniform he then gave a grin” it cool isn't it?”

 

“Yeah where did you get it?” Shingo said excited

 

“Um I….I made it myself it took a while to make it but it was well worthy” he scratch the back of his head

 

“Really cool I wish I had an outfit like that you look like some kind of ninja” Shingo said

 

Naruto chuckle at his comment(well imagine that)

 

“And that headband makes you look even cooler” Shingo said while pointing to his black leaf headband

 

Naruto blush a little” thanks Shingo”

 

The two finally went to the living room Kenji was sited on the couch while Ikuko was at the kitchen making the cookies.

 

“So Kyosan what brings you here?” Kenji said

 

Naruto expression change a little” I came to say goodbye”

 

Both Kenji and Shingo blink at this

 

“You're leaving already” Kenji said worry

 

Naruto nodded” actually I don't know how long Im going to stay or maybe I will stay, Im still trying to decided its been bugging me a lot”

 

“I guess you're going back because your a transfer student so you wont be staying but….you are going to stay Kyo right?” Shingo said in a hopeful tone

 

“Maybe” Naruto said softly

 

“Come on Kyo stay you know you have become like a brother to me” Shingo said

 

Naruto eyes widened a little while looking at him he smile” thanks Shingosan you have become my brother since your sister have become my sister too” he gave a grin

 

Kenji nodded” that's right Kyosan we are going to miss you if you choose to leave”

 

Naruto smile” thank you Kenjisan”

 

Ikuko then came with a plate of chocolate chip cookies she place the plate on the small table.

 

“Well Kyosan dig in” Ikuko said

 

Narto's eyes widened at the sight of the cookies” wow they look so yummy” he pick a cookie and took a bite he blush while his eyes were shining” WOW THEY TASTE SO DELICIOUS” he devoured the first cookie in seconds he then took a bunch of cookies from the plate and ate them in a blink of an eye

 

Ikuko and Kenji along with Shingo stood shock Naruto just eat all of the cookies

 

Shingo sweat dropped(whoa ten seconds he broke Usagi's record)

 

Kenji sweat dropped(maybe it will be good if he leaves having two kids who eat like their life depending on it is really bad)

 

Ikuko just smile(I knew he will like then they are from Pisghbury)

 

“So Kyosan that's a nice outfit you're wearing sorry for noticing it so late” Kenji said

 

Naruto grin hearing that(now he finds out he's a little slow)

 

Ikuko blink while finally noticing his ninja outfit” oh yes Kyosan it suits you well”

 

“Thanks” Naruto said

 

“So come on Kyo are you staying or leaving?” Shingo said waiting for his answer

 

Ikuko gasp hearing that” WHAT Kyosan what do you mean that you're leaving?” she said in a worry tone

 

Naruto sighed” I don't know…..maybe I will maybe I won't”

 

“Kyosan I wish you could stay you have become like a third son to me” Ikuko said

 

Naruto gasp he felt like crying hearing those words from Ikuko made him feel so happy he never knew his mother aside from Queen Serenity and now he has found a person who cares for him like a son he could feel the feeling of motherly love.

 

“That's right Kyosan you have become an official member of this family and Im pretty sure that Usagi wont argue about that” Kenji said

 

Naruto try to hold his tears but it was futile his tears fell slowly from his blue eyes he looked at Ikuko who just smile at him” th….thank you Ikukochan” he gave her a big hug surprising her a little but she still accepted his embrace

 

“Its al right Kyosan we know how you feel you never knew your parents but guess what you have found a new family in us that will never change” Kenji said

 

“That goes double for me” Shingo said while giving him a thumbs up

 

Naruto dry his tears” thank you everyone it means a lot to me, I should go there are other places I want to go Ikukochan Kenjisan and Shingo thank you for everything”

 

“Please come back Kyosan” Ikuko said

 

“Well miss you if you choose to leave” Kenji said

 

“And that's why you shouldn't go because well miss you so you better stay Kyo” Shingo said

 

Naruto gave his fox grin” thanks I really appreciated I better go bye everyone” he wave them goodbye before leaving

 

Ikuko sighed” Im really going to miss him he's so much like Usagi”

 

“So Im not the only one who thinks that” Kenji said while smiling

 

“Yeah ditto” Shingo said

 

Naruto left the house with a sad and painful expression on his face(damn after hearing that I want to stay even more but…..Konoha and my dream…..oh dammit this is so hard) he continue walking while cursing under his breath

 

 

 

Hikawa Jinja Temple

 

 

 

The senshis were busy preparing a farewell party for the leaf ninjas since they will be leaving today, they were decorating the interior of the temple with with streamers like a birthday party while Makoto was busy in the kitchen making the food Hotaru was giving her a hand. They were able to move out the large table of the dinning room and place it on the temple's main hall where the party was going to take place, they also place a large flyer that said farewell well miss you but they were having some trouble putting the flyer because Usagi she was being a little clumsy making Rei a little annoyed.

 

“Usagi what are you doing the flyer is supposed to be on the highest level of the wall so they could see and read it not the other way around” Rei said annoyed

 

“Well excuse me if Im not seven feet tall Rei” Usagi said while sweat dropping

 

“Then why do you think the ladders for?” Rei said while her right eye twitch

 

Usagi gulp” but Rei Im afraid that I will fall from the ladder”

 

“Don't be such a scary cat and do it, Ill help you put the flyer now climb the ladder” Rei said

 

Usagi nodded she pick a part of the flyer while Rei had the other end of the flyer, she slowly climb each step of the metallic ladder until finally reaching the perfect height to place it until she stumble a little causing the ladder to lose its balance.

 

“AH REI IM GOING TO FALL” Usagi shouted as she was trying to balance herself

 

“USAGI YOU MEAT BALL HEAD IF YOU KEEP BOUNCING LIKE THAT YOU ARE GOING TO FALL” Rei shouted as she took a hold of the ladder to prevent it from falling

 

But it was too late Usagi fall from the ladder and she landed on top of Rei they fell on the floor making a soft thud, they were both seeing stars like the cartoons on the tv show. Ami and Minako who were putting more decorations on the temple watch the whole thing and sweat dropped they both sighed.

 

“Somethings never change” Minako said

 

“You're telling me” Ami said

 

Rei got up with an angry look on her face” Usagi CAN YOU DO SOMETHING RIGHT FOR ONCE”

 

“HEY its not my fault I fell” Usagi said

 

“YES IT WAS” Rei shouted

 

“NO ITS NOT ”

 

YES IT WAS”

 

“NO ITS NOT”

 

Ami and Minako went to the two arguing teenagers” that's enough you two lets finish preparing the things” Ami said

 

“That's right we have to do this quick before they arrived” Minako said

 

“That's why we have Luna and Artemis watching over at the front of the temple” Usagi said

 

Just then Mamoru, Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna and Hotaru came to the hall with a bunch of plates filled with all sorts of food chocolate chip cookies chocolate muffins sandwiches and other delicious treats; they all placed the food on the table Usagi was already drooling at the delicious sight she was about to go over the table when Rei stop her in her tracks.

 

“Easy Usagi were supposed to wait for our guests to arrived” Rei said

 

“Oh come on Rei I wasn't really going to try and eat the food” Usagi said while giving an innocent look

 

Everyone sweat dropped at her comment(yeah right)Rei thought

 

“Is this all of the food?” Minako said

 

“No Makoto is finishing some cinnamon rolls and she still haven't started baking the cake” Mamoru said

 

“Meaning we have to carry more food” Haruka said

 

Luna and Artemis came running in a hurry

 

“Everyone its an emergency” Artemis said alarmed

 

“What is it” Michiru said

 

“THEY'RE COMING HERE” Luna shouted

 

The group gasp

 

“WHAT they already coming here so soon” Usagi said

 

“What are we gonna do we still haven't finish preparing the party” Ami said

 

Rei sighed” I guess we have no choice but to let them see the party”

 

“Even if this was supposed to be a surprised party” Minako said

 

“What's going on here?”

 

The group gasp at the source of the voice when the turn around they saw Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi the three had a puzzle look on their faces.

 

“Oh everyone you guys are here” Usagi said nervous

 

The three leaf ninjas saw the decorations and the food they have a pretty good idea what it was.

 

“Did we came at a bad time?” Kakashi said

 

“Yes” Haruka said flatly but Michiru elbow her on the waist

 

“Looks like a birthday party” Sasuke said

 

“Yeah whose birthday is it?” Sakura said

 

The group sweat dropped at the comments

 

Rei clear her throat” Usagi the flyer”

 

They both grab the flyer and held it high so the ninjas could see the message

 

“Oh so it's a farewell party that's so nice of you” Kakashi said

 

Sasuke smirk” you could have fooled me”

 

Sakura giggle at the Uchiha's comment

 

“So much for the surprise farewell party” Mamoru said

 

“Don't feel bad well help you with the party” Sakura said

 

Setsuna smile” I see then I think we should accept their help” she then looked at the mask ninja” you will help us too right Kakashi?”

 

Kakashi look surprise” well I” he was drag by Sasuke and Sakura” what are you two doing?”

 

“Come on Kakashi sensei lets help them with the party the party is for us after all” Sakura said in a innocent tone

 

“The more help we get the better” Sasuke said with a smirk

 

“I guess” Kakashi said sounding a little disappointed

 

Both Sasuke and Sakura gave an evil smirk

 

(knowing Kakashi sensei he will be reading his book while were doing the whole work) Sakura thought

 

(Hell be reading that book of his while were doing the work but that's not gonna happen) Sasuke thought

 

Kakashi sweat dropped(I was looking forward to continue reading I haven't had any time to read at all with all the commotion that's been happening)

 

“Hey where's Narutokun?” Hotaru said

 

The rest of the senshis also notice that the blond ninja wasn't around

 

“Naruto went to a few places but don't worry he'll be here” Kakashi said

 

Hotaru gave a worry look” Ill go look for him, Ill be right back” she then left the temple

 

“So what can we help you guys with?” Sakura said

 

“Well Makoto needs a lot of help in the kitchen” Rei said

 

“Got it” Sakura said as she left

 

“And we do need to put the flyer” Rei said annoyed while looking at Uagi

 

“Ill help with that” Sasuke said

 

“What about the rest of the decorations?” Michiru said

 

“Kakashi will help us with then right?” Setsuna said while giving the mask ninja a smile

 

Kakashi scratch the back of his head” um….sure I have no problem with that”

 

The whole group return to prepare for the farewell party

 

 

 

Crown Arcade

 

 

 

Naruto arrived at the arcade he was staring at the building(if I choose to leave then Ill have to say goobye to Motokisan and Jinsama too) before he took a step to enter the gates to the arcade open and came Naru and Umino.

 

Naru was wearing a simple green dress, but Naruto gave a weird look when he saw the outfit Umino was wearing it was some kind of uniform it was black with a yellow line design and it had a golden colored v sign clip on the right corner of his chest.

 

“Oh hi Kyosan” Naru said

 

“Oh Naruchan hi” Naruto said giving a smile

 

“Kyosan” Umino said getting the attention of the blond ninja” that outfit of yours looks like a ninja uniform

 

Naruto sweat dropped” oh really you think?”

 

Umino nodded” yup it looks like a ninja uniform but I had some bad news for you because the ninja convention was last year”

 

Naruto blink” ninja convention? What's that?”

 

Umino gasp” you don't know what a ninja convention is its an event that lots of people go to they all go disguised as ninjas and they all meet their favorite characters in action not to mention some cool shows”

 

“So Uminosan do you go to the ninja convention?” Naruto said

 

“No Im not a ninja fan but I am a Star Trek fan see, Im wearing captain Kirk's uniform this is his identical uniform” Umino said

 

“And why are you wearing that Umino were going to the movies” Naru said

 

“But Naru I want to go to the Star Trek convention” Umino said

 

“But you promised me that you were going to take me to the movies” Naru said while giving the sad puppy eyes

 

“Oh Naru don't do that you know I can't resist the sad puppy eyes” Umino said he sighed” fine well Ill take you to the movies”

 

Naru cheered and gave Umino a small peek on the cheek making him blush

 

“We better go bye Kyosan” Naru said

 

“Yeah bye Kyosan” Umino said

 

“Bye guys” Naruto said he couldn't help but smile at the odd couple they were so different that it was really weird that they were a couple at all although Jiraiya has once told him that opposites attract he gave one last look at the couple before entering the arcade.

 

(Those two are so different its scary) Naruto thought as he walked in the arcade he saw Motoki on the counter to the cafeteria area

 

“Oh Kyosan hi how are you? I haven't seen you in a while” Motoki said

 

“Im sorry Motokisan but I was…..busy(really busy)” Naruto said remembering the big battle at the north pole

 

“Well Im glad you're here so are you going to return to work you are one of the best hard workers I've ever heard” Motoki said

 

Naruto sighed a little” I….I don't know Motokisan Im may be leaving Tokyo soon”

 

“So you're leaving huh well I am going to miss you, you were a great help in the arcade and a great friend but I hope you come back right?” Motoki said

 

Naruto smile” thanks Motokisan but well I don't know exactly if I will go Im still haven't made up my mind yet”

 

“Oh really well if its not something important then I guess you should stay” Motoki said

 

Naruto gasp a little” something important”

 

“Yeah why are you leaving?, is it something serious or important that you should take priority” Motoki said

 

Naruto stood silent for a moment(important priority, returning to the village my friends and my dream of becoming Hokage that is something important)

 

“Anyway its up to you whether you will stay or not I guess if you have to go because you are needed somewhere else then I guess I understand why you're leaving just choose what you think is the right choice” Motoki said

 

(The right choice my dream Usaginechan Hotaruchan everyone back in Konoha) Naruto thought he then smile” thanks Motokisan I will choice the right choice”

 

“Glad to hear that just don't think too much about it because you might never get to decided okay?” Motoki said

 

“Yeah I will choose thanks Motokisan well I better get going bye Motokisan” Naruto said as he was headed for the double doors

 

“Oh by the way Kyosan?” Motoki said stopping Naruto in his tracks

 

“What is it Motokisan?” Naruto said

 

Motoki sweat dropped” well the ninja convention was last year”

 

Naruto sweat dropped at his comment” yeah I know Umino already told me Im wearing these cloths because I want to make a fashion statement” he then gave his fox grin

 

Motoki laugh in return” I hope your fashion becomes famous Kyosan”

 

Naruto chuckle” yeah believe it”

 

Naruto left the arcade he sighed(doing this is only making it harder for me to go visiting Usaginechan's family and Motokisan what am I going to do?) he began to walk the streets of Tokyo still thinking what to choose

 

 

 

Hikawa Jinja Temple

 

 

 

The group have finally finished the preapartions of the party the food was all set as well as the decorations.

 

Makoto dry some of her sweat from her forehead” phew I finally finish with the food it took a while but I couldn't have done it sooner if you guys wouldn't have help me”

 

“Yeah everything looks great” Michiru said

 

“And delicious” Usagi added

 

“All we have to do is wait for Narutosan so we could begin the party” Rei said

 

“I hope he doesn't take too long” Minako said

 

“He'll be here there's no way he would missed all of this food” Sakura said

 

“That's right he'll be crazy to miss all of this” Sasuke said

 

Suddenly the group for some reason they all started staring at the Uchiha making him a little annoy.

 

“What?” Sasuke said” why are you all looking at me?”

 

“Were not looking at you” Usagi lied

 

“Yeah right what's going on you guys want to say something to me?” Sasuke said getting more annoyed

 

“Well since you said so we heard a little rumor back at the Winterhearts Guild inn and we want to know if its true or not?” Haruka said

 

Sasuke look puzzle” is that it? So what is it?”

 

The senshis stood a quiet for a moment but it was Haruka the one who talked.

 

“Is it true that you kissed the prince?” Haruka said with a smirk

 

“WHAT” Sasuke shouted in shock along with Sakura Kakashi just sweat dropped at the question

 

“Just be honest and answer the question” Haruka said

 

Sasuke was paled he was shock he couldn't believe it he consider that to be the most embarrassing moment of his entire life he stood frozen while Kakashi was still sweat dropping and Sakura was sulking in a corner.

 

(Im still having nightmares about that) Sakura thought(AH THE HORROR THE PAIN Inner Sakura said)

 

“Well are you going to tell us?” Haruka said

 

“It was Kiba wasn't he? He told you” Sasuke said the group nodded and he growl” Im gonna killed that mutt”

 

“Come on Sasukesan there's no need for you to feel embarrassed if you're that kind of a person you know ho” Makoto didn't finish

 

“NO I AM NOT GAY” Sasuke shouted he then calm down” I don't want to talk about it okay I want to forget about that for good like it never happened”

 

The senshis sighed” its al right Sasukesan we understand if it was an accident” Usagi said

 

“Damn right and besides I have a girlfriend” Sasuke said as he went to Sakura and hold her hand

 

Haruka sweat dropped(an accident did he trip and fell on the prince's lips)

 

The group decided to change the subject and began to talk about other things while waiting for Naruto to come along with Hotaru.

 

 

 

Jin's Palace

 

 

 

Naruto was sited in one of the seats of the counter from Jin's restaurant he was still trying to make up his mind whether he'll stay or not, Jin then came to him.

 

“Kyosan what's wrong why the long face?” Jin said worry

 

“Jinsan I have a problem and I don't know what to do, Im supposed to leave Tokyo but I want to stay” Naruto said

 

“What you're leaving when?” Jin said

 

Naruto sighed” today”

 

“What you're leaving today that's too bad Im gonna miss you Kyosan” Jin said

 

Naruto blink” really you are?”

 

“Of course my best customer is leaving so of course Im gonna miss you” Jin said

 

Naruto smile” thanks Jinsan but I still haven't made up my mind if I will leave”

 

“So why are you leaving?” Jin said

 

“Huh?” Naruto said

 

“Are you leaving because you have to is it something very important that you have to leave?” Jin said

 

“Yeah you could say that there is something important why I have to go” Naruto said in sad tone

 

“Don't worry Kyosan even if you leave I wont forget you and Im sure you're friends wont either” Jin said

 

Naruto smile again” thanks Jinsan”

 

“Well if you're leaving there's only one thing I can do Kyosan wait here for a moment” Jin said as he left and enter the kitchen area

 

Naruto had a puzzle look on his face(I wonder what Jinsan's doing?) he then got his answer as he jaw fell to the ground Jin came back with a bowl of ramen but not just any ordinary bowl of ramen the bowl was twice as big than the normal bowl and the bowl was obviously filled with pork ramen.

 

Naruto felt like his eyes wanted to pop out of his head while drooling at the huge bowl of ramen Jin gave him a smile” Kyosan this is my farewell gift to you its on the house so dig in my friend”

 

Naruto didn't need to be told twice as he pick up his chopsticks and started eating the big bowl of ramen like his whole life depended on it, in a matter of minutes the big bowl of ramen was empty.

 

“Wow delicious thanks Jinsan” Naruto said happy

 

“Glad you like it I knew you were going to eat the whole bowl” Jin said

 

“Well I better go Jinsan thanks for the gift” Naruto said as he stood up

 

“My pleasure Kyosan Im glad that I meet you I hope that we meet again” Jin said

 

“Me too Jinsan bye” Naruto said as he walk to the door of the restaurant

 

“You have to follow your dream and your heart Kyosan” Jin said before he left to the kitchen

 

Naruto stop walking when he heard that he was in deep thought(what follow my dream and my heart what's that supposed to mean?) without looking back he continue walking and left the restaurant he stop again as he began to think of what Jin told him, his thinking was interrupted when a pair of small and soft hands cover his eyes

 

“Guess who?” a sweet voice said

 

A smirk was form under Naruto's lips knowing the owner of the voice perfectly” is it the girl that I loved with all my heart?” he heard a soft giggle as a respond

 

The person remove her hands and Naruto slowly turn around to see a smiling and blushing Hotaru in front of him he took her in her in his arms” I already knew it was you Hotaruchan”

 

Hotaru giggle” I know but it was fun to make you guess” she snuggle closer to him and closed her eyes she loved being in his arms so much

 

Naruto continue to hold her he then began to caress her short black hair, the couple stood there for what it seems like hours but it has only past a few minutes even if they both didn't mind to be in each others arms they prefer to be like that forever. Hotaru could sense that there was something bothering her boyfriend and she had a pretty good idea what it was she knew that he was still deciding if he would stay or not, for her she wanted him to stay she loved him so much that the thought of him leaving it would tear her apart even if it will be selfish from her part.

 

“What's wrong Narutokun?” Hotaru said softly without breaking the embrace

 

Naruto continue to caress her hair” nothings wrong Hotaruchan Im just thinking that's al”

 

“Well you're thinking too much Narutokun you need to relax and have some fun, and I know how to do that” Hotaru said as she took Naruto's hand and started dragging him to the streets

 

“Whoa Hotaruchan where are we going?” Naruto said

 

Hotaru looked back at him and smile” you'll see it's a surprise”

 

 

 

Later at the Hikawa Jinja Temple

 

 

 

When Naruto and Hotaru enter the temple, Naruto was unsure because he saw that the lights were off and he felt like he was intruding but he was about to find out why.

 

“SURPRISE”

 

Naruto was taken back when the lights of the temple turn on and Usagi and the gang along with his teammates and sensei came out from their hiding spot.

 

“What's going on?” Naruto said surprised

 

“What's it look like its a farewell party silly” Usagi said

 

Naruto raise an eyebrow at first” and you guys were on this too?” he look at Sasuke Sakura and Kakashi

 

“No but we decided to help” Sakura said

 

Naruto couldn't help but smile at the whole idea of a farewell party even if he's still hasn't decided yet he wasn't going to let their efforts go to waste he then saw the table with the variety of food and drool like a hungry dog.

 

“Wow food” Naruto said as he went to the table and began to eat

 

“Now we can eat Rei?” Usagi said giving her best friend a hungry look

 

Rei wave her hand” yeah yeah”

 

Everybody started eating the small banquet that Makoto has made they all enjoy the delicious food especially Naruto and Usagi. After the were done eating they began to talk with each other they, the leaf ninjas decided to tell them some of their past missions the time when they went to the hidden waterfall village, the time when they went to the land of snow and other missions they have in the past. That was the point of a farewell party by making conversation with each other the bonds of friendship were strengthen and by doing so they will never be forgotten when they leave. Naruto continue to laugh while talking with the group he took a quick glance at his leaf teammates and he look at Usagi and the senshis finally he look next to him and saw his hand holding Hotaru's hand Hotaru was laughing too it wasn't like her to laugh so much and he knew he was the reason she was so happy, he began to think what Jin told him about following his dream and his heart. He looked once again at the leaf ninjas and the senshis and giving another look to Hotaru he had a thought.

 

(That's it I finally made up my mind I know what I am going to choose)

 

After a few hours the group were all standing in front of the temple. Some of the senshis were almost at the point of crying especially Usagi knowing that this was finally goodbye the leaf ninjas were finally leaving and return to their village. Usagi has been holding her tears for quite a while ever since they defeated Metallia and Beryl she knew that they're missions was over and they will leave, she didn't wanted any of them to leave they have become closed friends of hers and it will tear her apart if any of the leave. There was only one person that she really didn't wanted to leave and that was her brother Naruto ever since she first met him she felt a strong connection to the blond ninja, she finally understood why she cry the first time she met him it was because she was so happy to see him again even if she didn't remember him from the silver millennium. When she saw his painful memories from his past she vow to herself to protect him no matter what, she was really happy when she got her memories of him back she knew that she cared for him a lot. But now he was leaving and she fear that she may never see him or heard from him again the thought crept to her mind and it pained her a lot not seeing him again. Hotaru was in the same boat as Usagi she didn't wanted him to leave she loved him so much that it come to a point that if he's not around her she will die like he was her oxygen and she couldn't lived without him. She remember when she first met him back at Juuban mall like Usagi she cry because she was so happy even if she didn't remember him, she knew that there was something about him that attracted her a lot he's personality and his kindness including his eyes how she loved those blue eyes of him. When she got her memories from the silver millennium she remembered how much she loved him as princess Imari and she couldn't be any happier to being his girlfriend. She remember that Naruto promised her before fighting Beryl that he was going to stay with her but she had a bad feeling that it wasn't going to happen something in her gut and in her heart told her that, it will devastate her if he leaves and she doesn't see him again. Hotaru try to hold back her tears like Usagi who was doing a pretty good job at it, she took a look at Naruto she was surprised by his look instead of him being sad or depressed he was calm like he was happy she didn't know why but maybe she began to think that he was going to stay she didn't wanted to get her hopes high so she stood quiet as the group were going to say their farewells and goodbyes.

 

“Well its finally time we have to go it was a great pleasure to meet all of you thank you everyone Setsuna” Kakashi said as he smiled at the senshis

 

“Likewise Kakashi were glad that we meet you and your team too we wont forget any of you” Setsuna said with a smile

 

“Im really gonna missed all of you, you all have become great friends of mine” Sakura said as she dry her tears

 

“The same goes for us too Sakurasan” Makoto said as Usagi and the inners gave Sakura a group hug

 

“Thanks everyone” Sakura said as she broke the hug the outers just gave her a smile

 

“Take care you guys” Sasuke said

 

“Geez that's all you have to say” Rei said with a smirk

 

Sakura giggle” yeah he's always like that but you get used to him”

 

“Sasukesan?” Usagi said

 

“What is it?” Sasuke said puzzle

 

Usagi smile” don't let revenge take over your life okay?”

 

Sasuke eyes widened when he heard that but he slowly gave Usagi a smile which it was very rare coming from him” thanks I won't”

 

“Take care everyone” Artemis said

 

“We will never forget you” Luna said

 

“Thank you for everything and I hope you all come back” Mamoru said with a smile

 

“Well miss you” Haruka said

 

“Thank you for everything we couldn't have never defeated Beryl and Metallia without you guys” Michiru said

 

The leaf ninjas nodded and smile but Naruto who was quiet the entire time which it was very rare coming from him he looked at Usagi and Hotaru and he then look back to his teammates” Im not going”

 

The three ninjas along with the senshis were surprised by this

 

“Say what Naruto?” Sakura said with fear in her voice

 

“Im staying Im not going back to Konoha” Naruto said in a serious tone

 

The senshis smiled at this sudden revelation and Hotaru had a bigger smile Mamoru Luna Artemis were happy too it seems they didn't mind for Naruto to stay in Tokyo however Usagi was the only one who wasn't smiling which it was extremely weird in such occasion like this she would be more than happy for Naruto to stay with them.

 

The leaf ninjas weren't happy about this they knew Naruto was still making up his mind about staying or not but now it seems he has finally made up his mind, Sasuke had normal look on his face but like him he was hiding his true expression and he was taking this very hard right now. Sakura was feeling like crying again while Kakashi even with his mask on it could clearly see that he was sad about it.

 

“Naruto are you sure you want to leave?” Kakashi said with hope in his voice expecting his blond student would change his mind Sasuke and Sakura felt the same way too

 

Naruto smile at his teacher and his two teammates” yeah Im staying Im not just Uzumaki Naruto but Prince Serelor of the moon as well Im going to stay by my sisters side and protect the silver crystal”

 

“Naruto you do realize the consequences of your actions” Kakashi said in a serious tone” if you don't return to Konoha you will become a missing nin and that means the Konoha hunter nins will come to after you now are you sure you want to stay?”

 

“Im going to stay Kakashi sensei and also I don't think granny Tsunade would make such a thing I know her well” Naruto said

 

Kakashi sighed Naruto knew that Tsunade cared for him a lot and she will never be able to do such a thing and called the hunter nins to killed him even if it was an important ruled to kill an missing nin in order to kept the secrets of the village hidden.

 

“Naruto you're right Hokagesama would never called the hunter nins to hunt you down but don't forget its not just Konoha but sooner or later the other ninja nations will find out about you and they will send their hunter nins after you” Kakashi said(they will definitely come after him especially if they ever find out that his sensei's son including rock)

 

“And lets not forget about Akatsuki” Sasuke said” they know that you're here and they will eventually come after you”

 

“Yeah I know that but I can take care of myself Sasuke Im not the same weakling I used to be and besides I have Usaginechan and everyone to help me so Ill be fine” Naruto said

 

“So you really are staying” Sakura said sad” I don't know what to say Naruto”

 

“Its al right Sakurachan” Naruto said as he started removing his black headband” well I wont be needing this anymore Kakashi sensei” he handed his headband to the mask ninja

 

Naruto looked at Sasuke and Sakura, Sakura had tears in her eyes while Sasuke was just being his quiet self hiding his emotions” well this is it goodbye Sasuke Sakurachan you two were the closest thing I have to a brother and a sister you two accepted me for being who I am and I couldn't be any happier with you two so thank you for being my friends and for the great memories you gave me whether they were good or bad” Naruto said while holding his tears he then gave both of his teammates a hug Sakura accepted his embrace while sobbing softly and Sasuke just stood quiet but he accepted his best friends hug

 

Naruto broke the hug and notice Sasuke's sad expression” what's wrong Sasuke don't tell me that you're going to miss me?” he gave the Uchiha a playful smirk

 

Sasuke snorted” of course not its just that who am I going to spar with now?”

 

Naruto grin” why don't you ask Neji or funny brows?”

 

Sasuke shook his head” it wont be the same if its not you” he said in a honest tone

 

Naruto gasp a little at the Uchiha's comment he sighed sadly before going to the senshis side which he got a surprising hug from Hotaru all of the senshis gave him a big smile but he wasn't expecting what was going to happen next.

 

“NO”

 

Naruto the senhis along with the leaf ninjas looked at Usagi who had a serious look on her face” You're not staying go back to Konoha” Usagi said in a serious tone

 

The senshis were shocked at their leaders comment they were expecting of all people she will be the one who would want the blond ninja to stay Mamoru was even more shock than the rest.

 

Naruto felt hurt heartbroken he couldn't believe that his own sister wanted him to leave he finally couldn't hold his tears any longer he has reach his limit he slowly let then fall he looked at his sister who was still giving him a serious look.

 

“Usaginechan you don't want me to stay?” Naruto said with tears in his eyes

 

Usagi shook her head while a small tear escaped from her eye” silly of course I want you to stay but I want to become Hokage so the village would stop disrespecting me isn't that what you told me? Don't you want to show them what an amazing person you are?”

 

Naruto still had tears in his eyes” but I” he paued

 

“Pleased Narutonichan go back to Konoha” Usagi said as another small tear fell

 

“But Im going to miss you and everyone” Naruto said

 

“I know but you're dream is very important and its not worthy to abandoned it not even for us……not even for me” Usagi said as she couldn't hold her tears any longer tears fall from her blue eyes

 

“Usaginechan” Naruto said he couldn't take it anymore he gave his sister a crushing hug which she accepted they both were sobbing softly looks like another thing they had in common is that both are very emotional

 

The senshis, Mamoru, Luna, Artemis and the leaf ninjas watched the emotional embrace with sad expressions on their the inners were crying a little while Hotaru was crying too, the two moon siblings broke the embrace and looked at each other.

 

“Take care dear brother you're going to become a great Hokage I just know it” Usagi said as she patted him on the head

 

Naruto sob again” thanks Usaginechan I will” he looked at the senshis who were crying a little

 

Makoto came to him with a small bag” here Narutosan I made you some of my muffins I made them as a farewell gift”

 

Naruto took the small bag with a big smile” oh Makochan I loved your muffins” he then took a photograph from his jacket” here Usaginechan”

 

Usagi took the photograph and smiled it was a picture when team seven were still twelve years old(AN no its not the picture when they became team seven you know the one Naruto has in his apartment its not that one) Kakashi was smiling while Naruto was below him giving a big smile on Naruto's left there was Sakura smiling of course she still had her hair long and Sasuke was on the right smiling(AN I know very weird)

 

“Thanks Narutonichan I will treasure this picture forever” Usagi said as she dry her tears

 

“Oh that reminds me” Kakashi said as he went to Usagi with one of Naruto's packing bags” here you can take this”

 

Naruto freak out” WHAT Kakashi sensei that bag that's where my gamecube and my games are why are you giving that to Usaginechan?”

 

“Simple Hokagesama has plenty of missions for you when you get back so you wont be having any time to play your video games and besides wouldn't want you to slack off on your training” Kakashi said

 

Naruto sighed” fine Usaginechan take care of my gamecube”

 

“I will I am a video game maniac too you know” Usagi said

 

Naruto nodded and Kakashi gave him head band back” here you're gonna need this” Kaakshi said

 

Naruto looked at Sasuke and Sakura who both had a relief look on their faces, he then look at Hotaru and his heart felt like breaking tears were falling from her purple eyes he knew that the worst part of all was coming which it was saying goodbye to the girl he loves so much.

 

(AN I hope you guys are crying already but if you think this was sad you haven't seen nothing yet because the song is coming up so looked forward to it)

Naruto look at Hotaru her purple eyes full of tears he was feeling the worst pain he could receive more painful than a normal wound made from a weapon the pain of never seeing Hotaru again the thought of never seeing her again was too painful for him her beautiful eyes her sweet smile which he loves so much he wasn't going to see her again.

 

He looked at her with so much pain in his heart” Im sorry Hotaruchan I never broke my promises but this time I……I have no choice but to break it which pains me a lot to do it Im sorry Hotaruchan” his tears started falling again

 

Hotaru shook her head as more tears fell from her eyes” no…its al right Narutokun I knew you were having trouble with making your decision because I overheard you back at the inn so you don't have to apologize and besides what Usagisan says its true your dream is important and you should fulfill it”

 

Naruto didn't say anything he slowly went to her and pulled her into a warm embrace, Hotaru bury her head in his chest as she continues to cry. Naruto did the only thing he could and try to conform her even if it was futile he couldn't make her feel better he began to caress her short hair and pulled her closer to treasured the moment forever.

Everyone stood quiet as they continue to watch the sad couple's embraced and by now all of the senshis were crying Haruka was trying to hold her tears she didn't wanted to cry because of her tomboyish attitude but in the end she gave up and let her tears fall Luna was crying along with Artemis and Mamoru was quiet holding a sobbing Usagi in his arms. Sakura was crying even if Naruto was leaving with them she could only feel sad for Naruto and Hotaru she knew the pain of saying goodbye to someone very precious she remembers the day Sasuke left village the pain she felt when he left she felt heartbroken like she couldn't continue living. She didn't realize that Sasuke has put a conforming hand on her shoulder she looked at him and he gave her a soft smile it seems like he knew what she was thinking.

Naruto sadly broke his embrace over Hotaru, she looked at him but he didn't look at her it pained him too much that he didn't wanted to look at her eyes he was already devastated by the fact that he was leaving. He went to his companions side and put his black headband back.

 

“Lets go” Naruto said with in a regret tone he took one last look at the senshis who had became precious friends and a family to him

 

Kakashi nodded along with Sasuke and Sakura the mask ninja looked at the group he looked straight at Usagi(she's really a courageous girl even if she wants Naruto to stay more than anything she's letting him go for the sake of him fulfilling his dream such sacrifice now that's what I called courage and now that I think about it her caring nature it's a lot like sensei's)

In a blink of an eye the four ninjas vanish leaving a group of sad senshis behind

 

“Im sorry Hotaru I know you wanted him to stay but I couldn't let him abandoned his dream he has such a strong right to fulfilled that dream” Usagi said still crying

 

“No its al right Usagisan I understand just like I told him his dream is very important so he shouldn't let it go” Hotaru said as she continue to cry

 

“So Hotaru what are you doing standing around here for are you going to let him go just like that” Haruka said

 

“That's right give him a big kiss” Minako said with a wink

 

“Follow your heart Hotaru” Setsuna said

 

“Just don't trip like Usagi would” Rei said with a smirk Usagi just frown at her comment

 

“You can do it Hotaru” Makoto said

 

Hotaru manage to dry her tears and nodded she left the temple in a hurry she climb down the stairs carefully not to trip.

 

“Mamochan everyone I did the right thing in letting him go right?” Usagi said as she let more tears fall

 

“Of course you did Usako you did it because you cared for him and that's why you wanted him to fulfilled his dream” Mamoru said as he took his girlfriend in his arms

 

The senshis nodded in agreement Setsuna looked to the entrance where the ninjas left(the princess is right prince you dream is important because you will become the greatest Hokage of all time)

For Naruto he felt like the whole world has crumble around him nothing meant anything to him anymore he just left the girl that he loves and his sister behind and he would never forgive himself for what he did even if that what Usagi wanted from him. He didn't realize but along Kakashi Sasuke and Sakura were just walking the streets of Tokyo however both Sasuke and Sakura were confused by this turn of events.

 

“Kakashi sensei aren't we in a hurry to get back to the village?” Sakura said puzzle

 

“Well yeah but there something else to be done” Kakashi said(and here it comes) he took a quick glance behind them” um…..Naruto well go on ahead lets go you two”

 

Sasuke and Sakura were more confuse but they did listen to their teacher and left Naruto alone who was still heartbroken from his farewell.

 

“Why did we left Naruto behind Kakashi sensei?” Sakura said

 

“Because Naruto have to give one final farewell” Sasuke said” isn't that right Kakashi?”

 

“Kakashi smile” yes let Naruto have his final farewell”

 

Sakura was puzzle” farewell to whom?” Sakura said

 

Sasuke smirk” who do you think?”

 

Sakura blink but then smile finally figuring out who was the person” I see” she continue walking just then Sasuke took her hand making her blush she looked at him and smile

 

Kakashi saw the whole display a smile was form under his mask(well well its about time)

“NARUTOKUN”

 

Naruto's eyes widened when he heard his name being called in the distance his heart skip a beat because he rcognize very well the owner of the voice, he looked behind him and saw Hotaru running to him with tears in her eyes. Hotaru ran as fast as she could she wanted to tell him and hold him before he leaves for good she went to him and fell on his arms and he hold her like his whole life depended on it. She bury her head in his chest again and he stroke her short hair it was déjà vu all over again but this time she lift her head up so she looked into his blue eyes.

 

“I love you Narutokun” Hotaru said with her face full of tears

 

“I love you too Hotaruchan” Naruto said his tears were falling again

 

Hotaru took her hand and touch his warm cheek she gave him a warm smile she closed her eyes and lean closer to him Naruto knew what was coming he did the same and their lips met he pulled her closer to deepened the kiss. Their passionate kiss lasted for a couple of minutes both were praying that their kiss wouldn't be the last one they sadly broke their kiss their eyes locked admiring each other in their eyes.

 

“Please Narutokun don't forget about me” Hotaru said in a pleading tone

 

“Never I will never forget about you Hotaruchan” Naruto said

 

He gave her a kiss on her forehead making her blush and smiled after that he turn the other way and left not daring to turn around because it will hurt him even more.

 

Hotaru watch her boyfriend leave as his figures finally disappears from the streets of Tokyo she couldn't help as more tears fell from her eyes she continue to looked where Naruto left.

 

(Narutokun we will meet again I just know it fate brought us together and fate will bring us together again) Hotaru thought as she continue to gaze at the distance

Hours later entering the boarder of the fire country

 

 

 

Team seven were now entering the fire country they were on their way to return to the leaf village Konoha they were jumping from one tree branch to another however things were quiet because no one had said a word ever since they left Tokyo especially Naruto. Sakura took a glance at her blond teammate and couldn't help but feel sorry for him he was very quiet which was very weird coming from him since he's always a loudmouth. Suddenly Kakashi stop jumping from the tree branches and he was joined by the rest of the team.

 

“What's wrong Kakashi sensei?” Sakura said

 

“Someone's coming” Kakashi said he looked at Sasuke who has already activated his sharingan

 

“Kakashi whoever is coming at us it's a ninja and a strong one” Sasuke said

 

“It would be too good to be true if we return to Konoha without running into a rogue ninja” Kakashi said as he took out a kunai he was joined by Sakura and Naruto who had finally snap from his depressed state Sasuke prepare to sheath Kusanagi

 

The group finally saw the person who was coming at them at high speed, Sasuke was right it was a ninja the ninja was a woman with black hair tied in a short pony tail she was wearing a long brown trench coat her body suit was a fish net with a orange mini skirt(AN a very provocative outfit if you ask me). Kakashi and his team knew who was the person, Kakashi sighed in relief seeing that the kunoichi had a leaf headband he wasn't looking forward to face a rogue ninja the person finally caught up with them who was obviously Mitarashi Anko the snake mistress.

 

“Anko?” Kakashi said

 

Anko was panting hard it seems she's been running nonstop” Kakashi everyone……Im……glad…..I finally found you guys…..Hokagesama told me to find you…..you guys we have to return…..to…….to….the…village…..itsR 30;..urgent”

 

“Whoa easy Anko slow down try to catch your breath then talk” Kaakshi said

 

Anko was finally able to catch her breath as she looked to the group” we have to return to the village its an emergency”

 

“What do you mean?” Sakura said

 

“THE VILLAGE IS UNDER ATTACK” Anko shouted

 

“WHAT”

 

“Lets go Kakashi sensei” Naruto said

 

Kakashi nodded and they vanish along with Anko

Whew finally the first arc(Moon Arc) is finally complete and the next chapter will begin the second arc(Leaf Arc) so you guys look forward for to it. Now I think I might give a small teaser preview of what to expect in the Leaf Arc well first this arc will be better than the first one more action more drama more pairings more shocking secrets will be revealed old enemies will show their faces more comedy and much much more I want to thank you all of the readers and the ones who are giving me reviews thank you very much so farewell and see you in the next chapter the first part of the Konoha invasion and the beginning of the Leaf Arc.
