Naako: Okay guys here's another chapter. I've been revising the other three to make them better and decided to put this new chapter up. I hope to get more reviews or I'll stop writing this story because I am not even sure if you guys like it or not. I'm running low on encouragement. So I hope to get some type of feedback from you guys.
Chapter 4: A New Companion & Great News
*~* With Kurama and Yukina*~*
Once the two of them were ready for the day ahead of them, they decided to go to the park. Kurama drove the two of them to the park. Once there, they walked around for a while.
"It sure does seem like a nice day today don't you think" Yukina looked at Kurama with a smile on her face
"Yeah it does" he smiled back at her. After what seemed to be hours of walking around but was only 1 hour, they went to go get ice cream. Kurama offered to pay for her's and she thanked him.
"What kind of ice cream would you like?" the lady asked them.
"Umm... I would like mint chocolate please" Yukina said
"And I would like vanilla please" he stated. The lady set to her job and made the two ice cream cones. She handed them to them once she was done and Kurama payed.
On the way out the store, there was a little girl with a box that didn't seem to be there before. Yukina walked over to the box and was shocked to see little kittens.
"Oh wow they're do cute" Yukina was smiling.
"Well if you want one you can one, there free. My mom said I can't keep them so I have to give them away." she seemed sad about it.
Inside the box were 6 kittens, one was all black with golden eyes, the second was black and white mixed with green eyes, the third one was all tan with brown eyes, the fourth on was a mixture of orange, black and white with gold eyes, the fifth one was orange with black paw and a black tipped tail with yellow eyes, and the last one was all black with white paws and his left ear was white with red eyes.
"You know you seem really happy why don't we do her a favor a get one" Kurama suggested.
"That sounds like a great idea" she looked over the kittens and decided to pick the orange one with black paws and tail since it reminded her of Kuwabara. For some reason, the black kitten with red eyes kept drawing Kurama's attention because it reminded him of Hiei.
The little kitten jumped on the edge of the box as if it wanted him to pick him up. So he leaned down and picked it up. The kitten seemed really happy and didn't want to be put back. So when Yukina told the little girl she was the orange one and was time to go, Kurama was having a hard time trying to put the kitten back.
"It seems as if he doesn't want to leave you" she giggled at the sight.
"It would appear so" he gave a small smile.
"Well you know if you want to can keep him to if you like" she suggested. he thought it over for a little while not really knowing what he was getting himself into and decided to keep it.
"Alright I guess I can do that. Does that sound like a good idea to you?" he asked the kitten, and it just licked his cheek and meowed.
"Oh and something you will probably like about these kittens is that there special, they stay pretty small and don't grow to be be big cats" she stated. They thanked the little girl and they were on there way.
Once in the car Kurama's kitten just layed in his lap and went to sleep, While Yukina's was just being a little to hyper.
"Well then I guess we better go to the pet store to get some supplies" he told her and she agreed. When they got to the store Kurama didn't want to wake the kitten but when he tried to slip away, the kitten was up and didn't seem to be going anywhere. The both of them just laughed at the kittens behavior.
*~* In Konoha*~*
Naruto, Sasuke and Hiei were walking down the streets when Naruto came up with an idea.
"Hey Sasuke I have an idea, what if we left Hiei stay with us I mean you house is so huge and it would be nice to have company over" he looked pleading to him
"Naruto what are you talking about you hear Tsunade-sama say that he has a place to stay" he stated
"Yeah but he doesn't know anybody and how would you feel if you were in a place you didn't know?" he asked him
"I guess you have somewhat of a point" so he turned to Hiei "How does that sound would you like to stay with us for the time being?" Hiei just looked at them and then nodded, he thought it would be nice since he didn't know anybody and they seemed like nice people.
"Okay then off to Sasuke's house" Naruto singed happily. When they arrived at the house, Hiei was a little shell shocked as the place was huge. They took off their shoes and Sasuke showed him where his room would be. Once done they went into the living room and just talked about some stuff.
"So if you dont mind me asking, what's with this other guy? Are you to in some kind of diagreement?" Naruto asked
"Well something like that, he has this thing for my sister and..." he seemed to trail off because the thought just hit him.
"Helloo are you okay" Naruto waved his hand in front of his face,
"Oh that jerk is going to die once I get my hands on him" he was getting really angry and with out Kurama there to calm him down it wont be easy to do it by himself.
"Hey woah whats wrong now" Naruto asked
"That punk is the reason my sister was crying, she's pregnant and he just stared at her an walked out without saying anything" He was emiting a low growl now, which Sasuke didn't like to much.
"Well that seems like he didn't know how to react" Naruto put in his two cents. Hiei was starting to get a headache now and knew if he didn't calm down this could be bad for the baby. He tried but everytime he thought about it, he would just get mad all over again.
He then held his head and fainted, Sasuke was the first to react and caught him before he fell of the couch. His hand landed the same way Naruto's did and was shell shocked to fell the round stomach and what was the most interesting part was that is was moving. He looked at Naruto with wide eyes and Naruto just smiled since he already knew.
"At first I was shocked as well and I couldn't believe it but he made me promise not to tell so Sasuke you have to promise not to tell anyone" Naruto explained.
"Fine I won't tell but help me put him back on the couch" and they both got Hiei back on the couch. They both kinda just stared at him in curiosity. They kinda wanted to look at it to see it for there selves but they knew that it would be wrong and would wait until he woke up to ask.
"So what now?" Sasuke asked
"Well actually since were on the subject I have something to tell you" Naruto confessed
"Oh and what is it?" he swaited patiently
"Umm... well... you see... don't be mad at me it's not my fault it's yours" he said nervously. Sasuke can tell that he was getting nervous and knew it must be something big.
"Come on Naruto just tell me" he was starting to get impatient
"Well... first promise me that you wont get mad and promise me that you'll still love me" he was getting upset now
"I promise Naruto, anything you have to tell can't possible take away my love for you." He reasured him
"I'm... I'm... pregnant Sasuke" he just started at Naruto shocked like 'oh my god'
"Well say something" Naruto was getting mad
"Are you serious? Your pregnant with my child?" he asked not believing it.
"Yes I am that's why I've been feeling so strange latley, and been eating some weird stuff. That's also why I wanted to go see baa-chan to see what was wrong and now we know" he explained. Sasuke wrapped his arms around Naruto tight and gave him a long kiss.
"So does this mean your not mad at me?" he asked
"Of course I'm not mad at you I'm excited, this the second best thing that could happen to me" he smiled
"Oh yeah and what's the first?" Naruto asked
"You of course, Naruto I love you soo much" he just held him for what seemed like an eternity.
"You know how are we going to get through this?" Sasuke asked
"I don't know but as long as we have each other it doesn't matter" Naruto smiled "Also if we really need help we kinda got help" he pointed to Hiei who was still sleep. "I mean he's been pregnant for a long time it seems I bet he can help us"
"Yeah that's true" he said an gave him a small smile. Naruto's stomach decided at that point to make noises
"Ha ha I guess I'm hungry" Naruto sheepishly rub the back of his head.
"Well what do you want to eat and I'll make it for you" they both headed to the kitchen to make some food.
*~*To The Pet Store*~*
When Yukina and Kurama went into the store there were a lot of sections for different types of animals. They searched around until they found that cat section. They currently had both cats in a small basket for which the suff they were going to buy was going in.
"Hmm what kind of food should we get for them?" Kurama asked
"Well since there still kittens, we should get a brand of kitten food that seems best for them" she suggested and he agreed. So the read the labels on a lot of different packages and finally decided on a brand called Nutro. They bought 2 small bags which should last awhile, and then decides to look at the collars.
"I think red would be good for your kitten Kurama" she stated
"You know I agree and maybe black for yours" she looked at it and liked it. So with the food and collars out the way all they needed now was 2 small beds for them and name taggs. They made quick decisions on those, Kurama got a black bed with red one the inside and Yukina got a black one with orange on the inside.
They moved on to the name taggs. It was a machine where they had to put in the information. Kurama let Yukina go first and she picked out a heart shapped one and was puzzled when she didn't know what to name him.
"Hmm what is a good name for this little guy" she pondered. They both looked at the cat and then it hit her
"Oh I know, I'll call him Rocky" she smiled
"That's a good name" he told her, and she finished filling out the information and all the had to do was wait for it to be made. Once done it was Kurama's turn, he choose a tear drop shape. he to was stuck on what to call his little cat.
"Hmm now its his turn what shall we call him?" he questioned, after a few minutes of thinking he came to a decision
"Alright I'll call him Akira" Yukina liked the name and he finished the information. Once it was made, they went to the check out stand to pay for everything. When everything was payed for, they got in the car and drove back to Yukina's place.
