Chap 7

Naruto rubbed his eyes tiredly, looking at the expanse of papers in front of him. It took a lot to start and keep a village running; food, water, labor, but he would manage it somehow. He had learned a long time ago that a village was not simply lead by the strongest but by the one who could make decisions and have the people rally around him, as well as the ability to interact with others, securing supplies and trading.

Naruto sighed, running his fingers through his hair. He was going to need to leave soon in order to secure a source of food and supplies as well as earn some money but he would take on that burden for the sake of his village and all those that were under his care.

“Naruto-san!” Naruto snapped from his papers to eye a twelve-year-old boy.

“Yes Yamato-kun?”

“There's a woman approaching the village. When we asked what she wanted she called for you. When I left to get you she was getting violent-” The boy stopped as Naruto disappeared in a swirl of smoke.

The crashing of tress brought Naruto to move even faster and his hands into his favorite seal. Hundreds of clones spread out to seal off the village from any more intruders and Naruto arrived at the scene. He landed on the fallen tree in a crouched position with his kunai drawn at the ready and his eyes focused on the target.

Naruto's legs began to falter and his mouth fumbled for words as he saw the woman who had came to see him.

“I told you! Just let me see the brat and no one will get hurt!” The woman slammed her fist into a nearby tree and sent it into a million little pieces while staring death at the three boys on patrol. Naruto simply stood dumbstruck as to why she was even here.

“O-Obaa-chan.” Naruto managed to get out in his shocked state. With fire still in her eyes she looked to see the source that had called her such a name and she relaxed, releasing her clenched fist upon seeing him. There was only a moment of silence before she appeared right in front of him, placing a hand on his forehead and checking him from head to toe.

After making sure Naruto had no obvious injuries the fire in her eyes reappeared. Naruto had just enough notice to not be blown into oblivion like that log he had just replaced himself with.

“You little BRAT! Why didn't you wait until I was back!?” She leapt into the air, bringing her foot down to create a massive crater where Naruto was just standing moments ago. “How could you just leave like that! Do you know what you did?” Naruto learned that even up in a tree he was not safe from her wrath as she simply smashed it to pieces. “How could you worry me like that?” Her voice began to calm and her movements began to slow. “What about your dream of becoming Hokage?”

Naruto stopped moving, his eyes fixed on the Godaime. He smiled weakly, his eyes showing a tinge of sadness when he thought about that. “Heh. I let go of that dream. I-I found a new one. I want to lead this village. I want to show them happiness.”

“Happiness? Do YOU even know what that is?” Tsunade questioned.

“I-I don't really know but I want them to have this feeling inside of me right now.” He hung his head low, because he truly did not know what the feeling inside of him was. Tsunade was like his older sister and he did not want to disappoint her or hurt her in any way.

“Naruto…” Tsunade whispered, walking up to his frozen form. She closed her arms around him and held him in a soft embrace. “Naruto… you could always come back you know.” She whispered to him, rubbing his back.

“If I really wanted to be with the Leaf then I would have never left. I-I have something better here, a place when I won't be judge because of my name or appearance.” Naruto felt Tsunade's grip on him tighten and he laughed. “That reminds me.” Naruto loosened her off enough to dig into his shirt and hold out that item which could buy entire mountains and shake the foundations of a nation by its ancestry. “Tsunade. I don't have a right to this anymore.” His rough hands held out the fine crystal that had taken everything precious from her. It was a curse, a burden to her, and Naruto quickly thrust it into her hand before she could reject it. He had held onto it for so long that it seemed a part of him but now-now he was no longer a part of the Leaf and he had not right to bear it.

She felt as though she had lost something forever. It was the same feeling that had washed over her when he lost Dan and Nawaki. It was happening all over again but-but he was right there. He was standing right in front of him and yet she was powerless again. The all mighty Sannin was powerless to stop those precious to her from leaving.

Tsunade pulled away from him. She knew that he could never be swayed after he made up his mind and she did not intend to bring back troubling memories for him. “Naruto. I must speak to Hyuuga Neji, Yamanaka Ino, Hyuuga Hinata and Uchiha Sasuke.”

“Sasuke!?” Naruto's head snapped to meet her eyes.

“I take it he is not here?”

“S-Sasuke's awake?”

Tsunade nodded and Naruto felt a surge of emotions.

“B-but how? How did he get out?” the questions began to pile into he mind and an uneasy feeling set in.

“I don't really know. The nurses said that he simply woke up. It was right after you had left and I wasn't there so…” `So he got away' Naruto finished in his mind. Naruto's thoughts became more urgent as he went through all the scenarios that could occur.

“He can't have gone after…” Naruto let his sentence trail and looked at Tsunade grimly.

“We don't know if he will. The last we heard of him was that he was searching for you.” Naruto stood rigidly as she told him this.

“Me?” `Damn it! If he comes here… does he want to get his revenge?' “Naruto” His mind snapped back to the present and he looked into her glaring eyes.

“I need to speak to you… alone.” Naruto nodded, waving a hand at the boys behind her to signal they could continue with their duties.

Naruto lead her to the massive building that had been designated as their head quarters and he remembered what she had told him earlier. “Do you want me to go and get the others now?” she thought a bit and decided it would be better if she told the others what she had to tell them first and then deal with Naruto.

Tsunade nodded her head and Naruto was about to leap off when he realized that there was no need to. Those that Tsunade had wanted were already here taking a break from their various tasks. Since arriving at the village everyone began to pitch in, whether it was teaching the little children, patrolling, or simply walking around and making sure that everything was ok. Naruto couldn't belive that it had been two months since they had arrive because it felt as though they had always been apart of everything.

As the two neared, the group got up and bowed instinctively. “Hokage-sama.” They all intoned together and Naruto smiled, some habits never died. “Glad to see that you're all well but…” her face turned into a grim seriousness and she left no room to be taken lightly. “You must all return to Konoha and report in.”

“WHAT!” they all yelled together.

“All of you, excluding Naruto, are still shinobi of Konoha and hold the techniques passed down to the inhabitants of the village as well as techniques that are used by the clans. You have left the village when not instructed to and if you do not return then you shall all be named missing-nins.” All of them looked at each other with wide eyes. Could they really do this? It wasn't fair. Naruto had been thrown out and they were just helping a friend and now they will be killed if they didn't go back? Or worse they were putting the village at risk for harboring missing shinobi.

“Can't you do something Tsunade?” Naruto asked, looking from his friends to her. She shook her head and wore a sad look. “A shinobi is a tool that is used by the villages. If a tool is out of line then it must be put back in or eliminated.” Naruto already knew this. It was to stop the secrets of the village. That's why they had hunter-nins but what he didn't understand was why they couldn't make an exception. Hadn't they done enough to hurt him? He had tried to hard to gain friends and when he had some they could be ripped away from him in an instant. He would not give up without a fight.

“B-but-” Tsunade interrupted his effort. “There are no `buts' Naruto. The simple fact is that they need to return to the Leaf.”

“It is true. We are shinobi and we cannot evade destiny for long.” Out of nowhere Neji's voice sounded and he froze the others because they knew it to be true. “However.” Neji continued and they all listened with eager ears. “It is also true that I can appear before the council and ask that we be transferred to another village.” Naruto jumped for joy. “That's right! I remember now! Genius Neji!” Naruto yelled ecstatically.

“So we don't need to leave!?” Ino asked, excited. “Hold it! IF the council accepts it there is also the condition that the village must be our ally, which is what I wanted to speak to Naruto with.” Tsunade regarded Naruto with serious eyes. “Of course I'll be your ally! And can't you just yell at the council to listen to you?”

“Are you sure you wish to be allies with the leaf?” Naruto thought about what it pertained to be an ally and he knew what Tsunade was talking about. “Yes. If that's what it takes to get them to stay then I will be your ally Tsunade.”

Ino jumped onto Hinata, laughing happily because she did not need to go back. Hinata's face went a bright red because she was so embarrassed at being hugged by Ino and the scene that it was causing, but she too was overjoyed. She would be able to see him and even though she could not build the courage to speak a full conversation with him she would watch him and love him; her Naruto.

“Oy! Obaa-chan. You should stay here for the night. You can't get back before it gets dark right?” Naruto asked her, which brought a glare.

“Why you little brat! I'm not old! You don't think I can make it back?” She screamed at him, threatening to throw some fists.

“Ya right! You'll only make it half way before you run out of breath. I wouldn't wanna see you have a heart attack old hag.” Naruto stated confidently, laughing at her.

Tsunade gritted her teach but she knew he was right on some points; it would be dark soon and it was not wise to travel at night when anyone could be lurking, although she could have been able to handle it. “Kid. Where's the best place for Sake around here?” she needed something to help her unwind after the long trip and she needed Sake was the thing to do that.

“Huh? Sake? In case your eyes have gone bad from old age there aren't very many adults here and we decided not to have any Sake around.” Naruto told her and the message began to register inside of her mind.

“What! No Sake!? What kind of village is this?” She grabbed Naruto by the collar and hoisted him a few inches off the ground. Naruto simply smiled and nodded his head. “Yup.”

Tsunade's blood began to boil. When did he get so calm!? First he calls her old, insults her eyesight and now no Sake! She was about to throw the man, telling him every village needed Sake, when a troop of children approached behind her, saving Naruto the hassle of getting away.

“Naruto-oniisan! Who is this lady? Is that Temari-oneesan? She looks different.” Naruto looked behind Tsunade to find Hatsu and a group of about five children all staring at the scene the two of them were creating.

“Wait! Those Sand kids are here?” Naruto nodded his head and she was about to ask more when the children began to cling onto her, begging for attention.

“This isn't Nee-chan! Who is she Onii-san?” Tsunade put Naruto down and looked at him questioningly. “Nii-san?”

Naruto gave her a wide smile, trying to remember when it all began. “Well-”

“Hey! Onee-chan! Why do you have such big…” Hatsu put her hands on her chest and the adults paying attention went red.

“Hatsu! You shouldn't ask such a question.” Ino reprimanded, wondering if Naruto's bluntness was rubbing off on her.

“Ya! You shouldn't ask her because she's really an OLD HAG! She wouldn't really know.” Naruto yelled, getting all the licks in that he could.

“Huh? She's not old?” Hatsu looked at him questioningly. “Well she is! Anyway, why do you want to know? And why didn't you ask someone else?” Naruto asked, going a bit red for asking her.

Hatsu put her hands behind her back and stared at the ground. “Ummm I-Nothing!” she quickly changed.

“Hatsu-chan” Naruto called sweetly. “Why do you want to know?” She shook her head furiously but Naruto would have none of it, he brought her closer to him and spoke softly. “Hatsu-chan…” She kept on shaking her head. “Bebi-chan…”

Her head swung up to glare into his eyes. “I'm not Bebi-chan!” she pouted and the observers were entranced in their exchange, staring at them.

“Ohh really? Well then if you're not Bebi-chan then you can tell me.” That had done it. It struck a cord in her pride and however embarrassed it seemed she would tell.

“IWANTNARUTO-ONIISANTOLOOKATMELIKETEMARI-ONEESAN” she blurted in one breath, which blew Naruto away. “What?” his mind was slowly trying to analyze what she was saying. Hatsu looked to the ground nervously, folding her hands in front of her. “I-I want Naruto-oniisan to look at me like he does Temari-oneesan.” She repeated and everyone in the room was floored, jaws dropping, eyes popping, and hearts racing. “If-if I have…” Again she placed her hands on her chest. “Then. Then Onii-san will look at me.”

“W-What makes you think that Hatsu-chan?” Naruto asked, laughing uncomfortably. When she got older they would teach her how girls and boys matured but this was just too soon and for that reason! Naruto shook his head, this was definitely gonna go south if she asked about other stuff.

“I-I see you.” Naruto tried to keep a straight face while Hatsu was speaking, but he knew he was gonna get burned. “I see it when Onee-san is with Onii-san. Naruto-oniisan looks there. And y-you hug her different because she has those.”

Naruto's face infused with crimson. Everyone was going to think he was a pervert and-and… he needed to think of a way out quickly when it struck him, the perfect opportunity. “Hey!” Naruto yelled indignantly. “Aren't you all supposed to be in class!” the look the children cast between themselves told him he was right. `Yes! Nice save!'

Again Hatsu spoke up. “Onee-san let us go early. She said we were good and that she needed to go.” Naruto's eyebrows raised. Temari let them go early? That was not something that sounded like her.

“Why did she go Hatsu-chan?” the girl shrugged her shoulders. “Onee-san just left fast.”

`Hmmm why would Temari leave the class like that? Could she be sick? May-' Naruto's thought was broken by Tsunade's loud cough. “Weren't you gonna show me around Naruto?” Naruto remembered that there were still others in the room and he laughed to get out of the situation.

“Umm. They can show you around. Right Hatsu-chan?” The said girl pouted and turned her head from him. “Hatsu-chan.” He spoke softly. “This is a favor for Onii-san.”

Quickly she held out her hand for Tsunade to grab and began to march with her down the street, while the rest of the children circled her and asked her questions. Without another word he was off and running towards his home, leaving Neji, Ino, and Hinata.

“I must return to my duties. Hinata-sama. Ino-san.” With that Neji also left. Hinata's eyes had a blank stare to them but her mind and heart were racing like the wind. `Naruto-kun likes women with b-big breast?' unconsciously her hands went to her chest. `How-how can I compare to Temari-chan?' she thought, and then she remembered Temari saying something to her and she too dashed off, leaving behind a thoughtful Ino.

`That lucky guy! He sure got out of that one quickly.' She sighed, closing her eyes. `Temari eh? I should have guessed it.' Her eyes began to water as she thought about it more. `I guess this is just like a movie. The girl who hates that annoying guy finds out that she has feeling for him and decides to tell him. B-but this time there's another girl with that annoying guy. I guess there aren't really happy endings in real life.'

“Temari-chan! Temari-chan!” Came an insistent yell. `Damn it! How am I gonna do anything with him around?' “Temari-chan!” Naruto came bursting though the door, looking every way. “Oh. You're home. Hehe.” Naruto walked over to Temari, who was standing in the kitchen. “Are you sick or something? Why'd you come home so early?”

Temari glared at him. “I already told you that I was going to cook tonight right?” Naruto nodded his head. “Welllll what does it look like I'm doing?” she said sarcastically. The cupboards were thrown open and all assortments of cooking supplies were laid on the table. “ohhh. Ok. I thought you were sick Temari-chan.” Temari's face softened, however frustrated she was with cooking she couldn't simply take it out on Naruto. “It-It's ok. Thanks for thinking about me Naruto-kun.”

Naruto smiled. “Well I have a lot of paper work to do. See ya.” Naruto dashed off up the stairs leaving Temari in the middle of her chaos. Who knew it was so difficult to make a simple meal! You're supposed to just follow the book and it will come out right but noooo. For Temari it always ended up wrong but she had to get it right. She had admitted to herself that in the department of cooking she was dead last and so she wanted to improve, for the sake of having what people called a “normal” family.

Temari looked down at the skillet she was using and cursed. `It just had to go and burn itself didn't it!' she thought angrily as she threw it away. `I'll never get this right!' Temari threw her hands up in frustration when she heard someone come in. “What the hell do you want!” she yelled only to find it was the quiet Hyuuga girl. “Sorry.” She murmured.

Hinata fidgeted nervously, working her fingers together. `Come on Hinata! You can do it! Just talk to her! You can do it! This is for Naruto-kun!' “Ano. T-Temari-chan. D-do you know what food Naruto-kun likes?” Temari quirked an eyebrow. What was this girl getting at?

“Ya. Everyone knows Naruto loves ramen.” Temari stated, playing along. “Ano. Ummm. D-Do you know how to make it?” Hinata stammered and Temari was now really interested in where this was going.

“No. I can hardly make eggs without burning them.” Temari laughed at her own inability to cook and Hinata took the chance to gather her courage. “I-I can teach you how. I-I still need practice but others say it's really good.” There. She had said it. Now all that was needed was the answer. `Please say yes! Please say yes!'

“Really? You think you can teach me how to cook?” Temari asked, almost leaping for joy at the opportunity. Hinata nodded and although outside she looked calm and collected inside her heart beat wildly, it was for Naruto after all.

“Naruto! Hey ya Brat! You call this a village? It ain't got a single bar!” Tsunade opened the door to Naruto's large home after taking a look around the whole village. Although she said things about the village she was proud of him. He had been able to create such a thing from scratch and the people in the village loved him. In a way she was completely envious of him but she would never let him know. “So Naruto. Where am I gonna stay?”

“I thought I heard the old hag's voice!” Naruto walked down the stairs of the house and greeted the woman. “You can just stay in one of the guess houses for tonight Obaa-chan.”

“Onii-san! Onii-san!” Hatsu came running from behind Tsunade and Naruto couldn't help but hold out his arms and pick her up. “Onii-san. Since I did you a flavour I get to sleep with you tonight K?” Naruto smiled. “How is that any different from any other night Hatsu-chan?” Hatsu snickered and hugged onto Naruto harder. “ 'Cuz I get to sleep with you and nobody else!”

“Hatsu-chan!” Naruto said indignantly as Tsunade laughed at his dilemma. “Why don't you want anyone else there?” Hatsu looked at him as though it were the simplest thing in the world. “I want to sleep with Onii-san only!” Quickly Naruto tried to get out of this one as well. “What about Temari-chan? Where is she going to sleep?” it looked as though Hatsu had already thought about it and smiled at him. “She can sleep on the awther side!” Naruto hadn't thought about it but his bed was abnormally large because it was usually filled with children and if Temari slept totally opposite of him, well that left him isolated.

“What about the other kids. They want to sleep on the bed too.” Hatsu had thought about this too. “They said they can sleep somewhere else for tonight.” Naruto looked at her with uncertainty and she grabbed onto him tightly. “I did you a flavour remember?” Naruto looked at her puppy-dog eyes and he sighed. “First of all it's favor and I guess it's ok for tonight.” Hatsu laughed delightedly. “Yay!”

Naruto's stomach rumbled and he remembered that it was time to eat. “Come on Obaa-chan, lets go eat.” As Naruto neared the kitchen a surprising smell wafted from it, good food. Eagerly he rushed into the dinning room to find six plates and chopsticks set up and a smell reminding him of ramen. Inside he was greeted by Ino and Hinata who were seemed to be waiting for something or someone.

“Hey!” Naruto called, surprised to see them. “Temari-chan invited us over.” Ino said, as though reading Naruto's mind. “And Neji is gonna be on duty for a while.” Naruto just nodded his head. “The more the merrier.”

Naruto place Hatsu in a seat but found that she was too short to reach the table. They had always gone to Risa's to eat and Naruto had no idea what he was doing. “Onii-san! I can't see!” quickly Naruto got a book and placed it on the seat, substituting it for a booster.

Anticipation overtook him and Naruto barged into the kitchen, looking to see what Temari had concocted for them to eat. Naruto's eyes almost fell out when he saw the sight inside. Temari stood there holding two heaping bowls of RAMEN! “RAMEN! Temari-chan! Did you make RAMEN!?” Naruto yelled, almost leaping for joy. Temari just smiled. “Help me bring out the rest Naruto-kun.” Naruto quickly went to the other bowls and carried them behind Temari. “I can't wait to try it!” Naruto yelled happily when he set down his bowl.

Instantly he began to inhale his food. Solemnly Naruto put his chopsticks down and his eyes began to water. `Oh no did I do something wrong? Is it too hot? Are the noodles too soggy? Naruto-kun say something!' Temari thought, biting her lip. `Naruto-kun! Is it bad! Naruto-kun doesn't like it! Naruto-kun please tell me what's wrong! Naruto-kun… I'm a failure.' Hinata thought, looking at Naruto intently and finding her eyes watering.

She had worked so hard to show Temari how to make it and what to do and ultimately Naruto was eating her food. The thought that Naruto was actually eating what she had made was making her heart race faster than any creature could run. Anxiety built up inside of her because if Naruto didn't like the ramen then she was a failure. She had tried so hard to make ramen after learning it was Naruto's favorite food and everyone that ate it said it was really good. `Naruto-kun.' She could feel the tears forming in her eyes. `Naruto-kun doesn't like it. I'm a failure!'

Naruto wiped the tears from his eyes and gave them a wide smile. “This is the best ramen I ever had!” Both Temari and Hinata released their pent up breathes and Naruto continued to inhale his food. `Naruto-kun likes it! No he loves it!' Hinata felt her eyes begin to water and she turned away from the table to rub them. `No! Don't cry! You can't show him you're a crybaby!' Hinata couldn't help it; she felt the tears begin to fall. “E-Excuse me.” Quickly Hinata ran to the bathroom and shut the door behind her. `Naruto-kunlikes my cooking! He likes my cooking! No. he doesn't know it's me' Hinata began to sob into her hands, trying to choke them back but it was to no avail.

`Naruto-kun doesn't love me. He loves Temari-chan.' Harder and harder the tears rained down in an endless wave. `Naruto-kun doesn't even think about me! I-I don't have big breast, I can't talk, I have no luck, and Naruto doesn't know I cooked for him!' Hinata began to curl into a ball. `No! No! I can't be this way! Naruto-kun is happy! Naruto-kun is eating my food and he is happy! That is enough for me! I can't cry and ruin things for him.' Hinata straightened up and splashed water onto her face. `I can't ruin it for Naruto-kun because above all I want him to be happy and he is.' Hinata walked out of the bathroom, ready to brave the hurt for just a little while longer until she would no longer ruin Naruto's happiness.

“Wow! I'm full! That was great Temari-chan.” Naruto stated after many bowls of ramen. “Where did you learn to cook like that Temari-chan?” Temari glanced over at Hinata who vigorously shook her head. `Are you sure you don't want me to tell him Hinata-chan?' Temari thought. “Umm a cookbook Naruto. You can learn a lot of things from them.” She smiled, hurriedly picking up the bowls as an excuse to leave. “I'll go wash these.” Temari began to the bowls and utensils into the kitchen when Ino and Hinata told her they would wash, saying the cook shouldn't need to. “No. You two are guest tonight so you shouldn't wash dishes. Besides. Hokage-sama seems bored there.” Tsunade snapped out of her musings at the call of her name. “Damn right!”

Naruto fidgeted nervously in his seat, putting a hand on his right pocket. `This is it fool! This is what you've been thinking about all afternoon. This is what you prepared for. This is what you want!' Naruto grasped at his right pocket. Thinking about it made no difference, and the sooner he did it the better.

Naruto stood from his seat and went into the kitchen, finding Temari humming with her back to him, washing the dishes. She turned upon his entrance, “What are you doing here Naruto-kun?” she was so beautiful. Even with just jeans and a black shirt she looked beautiful. There was also a great added affect of the apron she was wearing, it just made her seem even more wonderful. Sure she yelled at him all the time and hit him when he did something stupid but he knew that she loved him and would be there for him, after all she did try to cook for him.

“Naruto-kun? Naruto?” There was no answer and Temari was too busy for any games right now. Temari's hair bobbed as she turned and Naruto was enchanted by it. He was so lucky; to have this place, these people, this woman. Naruto went up behind Temari and wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her tightly. His head nuzzled affectionately into her back and Temari put down what she was washing.

“Naruto-kun… is there something wrong?” she asked him softly, loosening his grip so she could turn around. She lifted Naruto's head and stared into those cerulean eyes and she saw emotion. She had looked into his eyes many times before but this-this she could not read. `It's now or not at all Naruto! Do it! Do it!' In a swift move Naruto straightened himself and leaned Temari back, their faces inches part. He could smell that faint scent of shampoo that she loved to use and Naruto felt like he was being taken to a distant place. “Naruto…” Temari whispered, grabbing a tight hold of his neck. `Now you idiot! Now!'

Naruto's face inched closer and closer until their lips met. Naruto pulled her into a soft kiss, their lips looking to massage the other and he sent her into a dizzied state. `Naruto-kun. This-this is the first time YOU have kissed me. Every other time it was me, but now, now I know this feeling.' Temari's lips grasped for more as Naruto broke away. She didn't want it to stop. She didn't ever want it to stop. Temari let out a small moan, trying to get Naruto to kiss her again.

`Now! While she's still in your arms you idiot!' Naruto backed away a little, holding Temari but at a point where he could see the longing in her eyes. Naruto was about to speak when Temari went before him. “Nar-Naruto-kun. What was that for?” Naruto gave her that small smile she took as her own and dug into his right pocket. `Now! Now! You can do it now!' “A husband can kiss his wife right?” Temari looked at him with a smile on her face, Husband? She laughed in his arms. “Yes a husband can kiss his wife all he wants, and other things as well but I'm not your wife; YET” Temari hugged him, he brought up the strangest things sometimes.

Naruto leaned to Temari's ear. “You're not my wife yet but-but I want to get a step closer to that. Temari-chan, will you be my wife?” What was he talking about? Silly boy! Was something Temari thought but then she felt a cooled band touch against the back of her hand and she looked down.

“NARUTO-KUN!” she grabbed onto him, sobbing. “Yes! Yes! Yes! I'll be your wife! Naruto-kun!” Tears dripped from her eyes and she cried into his shirt. “Naruto-kun.” She looked into his eyes and saw that the emotion earlier had changed, it hade been refined into a new feeling, could it be Love? Naruto smiled, bringing up her hand and the ring in unison. Slowly he slid it on and Temari began to sob some more, her emotions getting the best of her. `Naruto! Naruto! I love you! I want to be with you always! I want to bear your children! I want to be your wife! I love you!' She didn't know how long she was there crying and she didn't care because all she thought was `I am Mrs. Uzumaki Naruto.'
