A Lasting Love
Chapter 2: Sasuke's Plans
Chapter 2: Sasuke's Plans
Sasuke sat in his office, looking around at all of the papers and reports that sat on his desk. He looked at his watch, noticing that it was almost time to close for the day, and that Sakura was expecting him tomorrow night. Thinking about seeing her again was very exciting to him. It has been way too long since he last saw her or held her in his arms. He was obsessed when it came to her, and it surprised him. Usually he didn't see any point in relationships, and he definitely didn't like forward girls, and Sakura was absolutely forward! But something about her made him love her, want to protect her from harm, and be with her as much as possible. He loved whenever he surprised her and made her blush. She was so cute whenever she did blush, and it made him want to make her blush as much as possible. Just like when we spent her last night together, whenever I touched her, she would blush or try so hard to hide herself. Just thinking about that night did funny things to his body, things that he wasn't used to.
He picked up the stuff that he would need for his business meeting, but if he had any say in his agenda, then he would only need to have a five hour board meeting, then spend at least a week there with her. He was excited that he could see her in her new house, and maybe even go and see what her classes were like and meet some of the people that she had made friends with. Going over to his secretary, he said, “I'm leaving for the day, and I'd appreciate to not be bothered with any kind of business while I'm trying to solve the problem with our branch in America.”
“Yes, sir,” his secretary said, a smile coming over her face. “Will you say hello to Miss Haruno for me?”
Sasuke smiled. “Yes, ma'am I will!” Sasuke new that his secretary, Elizabeth, would see through his `week' of work that he needed to do. After all, she was more like a mother to him, not a secretary. Sometimes she even treated him like her son instead of her employer.
“Have a good time, dear. Don't do anything stupid. She may only be there for two years, but it'll be longer if you do something to hurt her. Remember: you hurt her, you hurt yourself!” she admonished, trying to give him a stern look, even though the twinkle in her eyes gave herself away.
“Yes, mother! I'll only have sex with her every other day.”
“You're incorrigible!” she said, laughing so hard that she had half the people in the office looking at them to see if something was wrong.
“Carry on with your work, folks. Everything's fine!” Sasuke said with as stern a voice as possible.
“Get out of here! Go get her, and you might find that you'll like living there for, say, two years?” she said, wiggling her eyebrows.
“Are you suggesting that I should make her my mistress and live with her?”
“No! Marry the girl, keep her company, and bring me back some grandchildren!” Elizabeth said, glaring at him.
“Don't worry. I might.” Sasuke said, then left the office, knowing that people were looking at him strangely.
~the next day~
Sasuke sat on the plane, legs spread out, arms crossed over his chest, and thought about how he would be seeing Sakura in about 2 hours. The trip had gone smoothly, and he couldn't wait to be on land again!
“Mr. Uchiha, would you like anything?” a stewardess asked him politely.
“No, thank you.” He said, not even bothering to look up at her.
“I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.”
Sasuke just nodded, giving her the silent dismissal.
~in America~
Sasuke looked around, trying to find a way to get to Sakura's apartment. Finding a cab, he got in and told the driver where he would be going. The drive went by rather quickly, and he was glad to finally be at her place. He walked in, asked for directions to where she was staying, and opted not to call her or have her paged. He wanted to surprise her.
He took the elevator, going up to the floor that he was told to go to, and found the number that he was told. He knocked on the door, and was surprised to find that a guy had answered the door. “Um…excuse me, but I was wondering if you could point me to where Sakura Haruno is staying?”
“Who's at the door Steven?” a voice that was very much like Sakura's asked.
“I don't know,” the man replied.
The next thing he knew he was getting enveloped in a hug. “Sasuke!” Sakura squealed. “You're here!”
She had him in a death grip! “Uh, Sakura? Do you think that you could let me go? You're squeezing the life out of me.”
“Sorry! I'm just so excited that you're here! Come in and meet some of my classmates!” Sakura said, practically dragging him into the apartment.
He looked around and was relieved to see that most of them were girls, and not all guys.
“Sasuke, from the left side of the couch all the way over to the next couch are Dave, Susie, Gail, Peter, Matt, Theresa, Hannah, Stacey, and the guy who answered the door is Steven. Everyone, this is my fiancé, Sasuke.”
“Hello.” They all said to him.
“Hello.” He replied politely. Great. What I really wanted was to be with her for awhile, alone, and I didn't even think that she would be having a study group!
Sakura looked at everyone and asked, “Is that about it? I think that we've covered everything.”
Everyone agreed, packed up all of their books and study materials, and left to go back to their own homes, leaving Sasuke and Sakura alone. Sakura twiddled her thumbs, her cheeks growing rosy with embarrassment. “So, how was your flight?”
“Good. How long were you guys at it?” Sasuke asked, wanting nothing more than to take her in his arms.
“Most of the day, actually. We have a report due in a week, and we wanted to divide up all of the things.” Sakura said looking at Sasuke shyly.
Sasuke couldn't stand it anymore. He went to her and took her in his arms, kissing her soundly.
Sakura placed her arms around his neck, eagerly kissing him back. They were like that for awhile, passionately kissing each other until Sakura broke it off because she couldn't breathe anymore. “Sasuke, I've really missed you.”
“Yeah. I've missed you, too.”
“Really?” Sakura squeeked.
“Really.” Sasuke answered. “But I've had something else on my mind for a couple of months.”
“What was that?” Sakura asked innocently.
“Why don't I show you?” he said, a wicked gleam in his eyes.
