I Have Loved You.
After confirming that it truly was Sakura in Kakashis apartment, Naruto ran. Without another word, he turned and ran as fast and hard as he could away from the two of them. So many unwanted thoughts ran through his head, he knew only one way to get rid of them.
Sakura ran out of the house right after him, leaving Kakashi with what she thought would be their last kiss. It hurt to think that way, but what more could she think? Naruto was hurt, and probably pissed beyond belief. Who knew what he would say and who he would say it to.
"Naruto!" She pounded on the door, pleading with him to let her in. When he didn't answer after a good ten minutes, she ran off to search around the rest of the village. Her heart was pounding in her chest. She searched every resturaunt, and even their training feild. Finally after a good hour and a half of searching, she stopped by his place again. When she knocked, there was no answer, but something told her he was there. So she let herself in.
"I told you to leave me alone!" The room was dark, and the sound of his voice scared the hell out of her. Her hand wondered the wall for the light switch.
"Naruto .. I really want to talk to you." He was sitting on the couch, surrounded by empty sake bottles. Her eyes widened.
"I don't want to talk to you. I don't want to talk to Kakashi."
"I understand .. but I just-"
"I'm not going to tell anybody .." He got up, taking a few steps towards her. "I just want to know .. why?" She backed up against the wall. He put his hands against it on either side of her head.
"I don't know ..." She lowered her head, tears sliding down her cheeks. "I'm really sorry .."
"You kept telling me you weren't ready to go that far." He pushed his chest against hers, and his lips hovered just over hers. The smell of the sake on his breath burning her nose. "What's wrong with me? Why would you say that to me then go for Kakashi? It doesn't make sense..."
"I don't know, Naruto! You don't understand .."
"I understand perfectly. You are fucking Kakashi. You are fucking our sensei."
"It's not just about sex, Naruto!" He wrapped his fingers around her wrists, pinning her arms over her head. "What are you doing?!"
"You will have sex with Kakashi but not with me? That's fucked up! I put so much into us and you just threw it all away!" He was able to hold both of her wrists with one hand, and the other began to wonder. Over her cheek, then down over her neck.
"Stop it!" It slid further, cupping her breast and he was anything but gentle with her..
"Shut up!" He put his hand over her mouth. "I am alot stronger than you Sakura, and you know it. Don't piss me off." His eyes filled with tears.
"I'm sorry for what I did! I'm so sorry! But please, I am begging you not to do this!"
"I love you, Sakura. Let me show you .. I can be so much better than Kakashi. I can make you feel so much better. Please give me a chance .." He leaned his head in, resting it against her chest and began to cry. His hand slid from under her shirt, the other from her wrists, and wrapped them around her waist. "I'm sorry .. " A bit hesitantly at first, her own trembeling arms wrapped themselves around Narutos neck, stroking his hair softly.
"Naruto .." She rested her cheek against the top of his head. "I care for you so much .. I really do."
"But you don't love me .."
"Not in that way .." He pulled away from her, and walked back over to his couch.
"Please, just go away." He fell back, and rolled onto his side, his back to her. "I don't trust myself .. I don't want to hurt you." She wiped the tears from her cheeks and turned to leave.
"I really am sorry .." She left his house, unsure of whether it was alright to go back to Kakashis. She couldn't handle being around her mother right now, but where else could she go? After walking around for a half hour, she went back to him.
"Kakashi? Are you home?" He slid the door open slightly, eyeing her for a minute before letting her in.
"What happened?" He closed the door behind her, and saw her freeze up.
"I .. really .. don't want to talk about it." She wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him tight. "I think we are safe though. I don't think he's going to tell anyone."
"Thank god .." He held her tight, taking in her sweet smell. "I don't know if we should do this anymore." His hold on her tightened. "I don't know what I would do if I could never see you again." As much as it hurt to hear the words, she nodded slightly, knowing he was right.
He let his arms fall back at his sides, and she pulled away from him.
"I guess .. I will see you tomorrow morning .." She turned away from him, not sure of how much longer she could hold back her tears.
"Yeah .. tomorrow."
