Chapter 2: Uzumaki! Shut Up and Take it like a Woman!

 

Naruto starts to cry as an astonished Sakura and Lord Tsunade gawks at him.

“How's thing possible?! How can I be stuck in a jutsu I hadn't even performed?!”

Sakura walks up to him. She is in denial and decides there is only one true way to prove Naruto is telling the truth. Grabbing her pigtails, she starts to pull with all her might; throwing Naruto into the wall. The impact causes a big bang sound and leaves a bigger dent. Naruto falls to the ground, and is barely holding onto consciousness.

An embarrass Sakura turns towards her master and places a hand on the back of her neck as she nervously giggles a bit. “Sorry about the wall, Lord Tsunade.”

“Don't worry about it,” Lord Tsunade calmly replies. “I've done a lot worse,” she admitted with a smile.

Sakura gives her master an awkward glance. “And you're proud of that…?”

Naruto recovers from Sakura's unnecessary test. After making sure her hair is still attached to her head, she marches towards Sakura to give her a piece of her mind (hopefully it is a small piece, since she doesn't have much to spare).

“Sakura-chan, you didn't have to throw me!”

Sakura grins at him. “Sorry about that, Naruto. I… uh… I couldn't believe you were telling the truth.”

“Why shouldn't I?!” Naruto moves towards Lord Tsunade. “Granny Tsunade, I don't understand what happed to me! I never used my jutsu before going to sleep! But I can't explain how I got into this form! Help me, Granny Tsunade! Please!”

Lord Tsunade is getting pissed off by Naruto's whining. She is even more pissed at the fact her chest is a lot bigger than hers when she was her age.

“Naruto, you shouldn't bother Lord Tsunade with such a trivial matter.”

“How can you say that, Sakura-chan?”

“Easily,” Sakura jokes.

Naruto turns around with a pissed expression on her face. After rolling her eyes at this scene, Lord Tsunade notices something on the back of Naruto's neck. “It can't be,” she gasps.

“Huh? What, Granny Tsunade?”

“That explains it. Naruto, you have the Transformation Imprisonment Curse Seal!”

“I have a curse seal?! How is this possible?!” shouts Naruto; completely freaked out.

Sakura glances at the spot Lord Tsunade was looking at. She lets out a gasp as she sees a skull with fangs and bizarre crossbones on the back of his neck. “That's the ugliest curse seal I'd ever seen,” she thought. Seeing it makes her think of Sasuke and his curse seal that Orochimaru gave him.

“Granny Tsunade, please tell me there is some way to remove it.”

“Idiot!” shouts an enraged Sakura. “A curse seal can't be removed.”

Lord Tsunade overlaps her arms on her deck and tells them in a calm tone, “This curse seal is different.”

“It is?”

Lord Tsunade nods. “According to rumor, there is only one way to remove this curse seal.”

“What is it, Granny Tsunade?”

“You must defeat the shinobi that gave it.”

Gloom lurks over Naruto. Even someone of her limited intellect knows this is easier said than done. Moreover, it is only according to a rumor.

Sakura, with an uneasy smile, tries to cheer her up. “At least it's something, Naruto. You have to admit that.”

Naruto mopes, “Whatever, Sakura-chan.” She couldn't bring herself to believe Sakura. Returning to her eternal optimistic attitude, she starts to laugh like an idiot (easier done than said). “Defeating a ninja is no problem. I'll return to my original form in no time.”

Naruto start off and out.

Lord Tsunade shouts, “Wait!” her tone hard and full of concern.

Naruto turns around; showing some fear on her face. “Huh? Is there something you'd forgot, Granny Tsunade?”

Lord Tsunade lets out a sigh before explaining the bad news. “This is a one-shot cure. If you fail to defeat the ninja that gave you the curse seal…” she takes a moment to play up the mood, “…it'll become permanent.”

Both genin shout, “It'll be permanent?!”

Sakura is far more upset than Naruto, since she believes she'll attract more guys than her. That and the fact that he will be a SHE! If they fail to remove this curse seal before they save Sasuke from Orochimaru, Sasuke might actually choice the girl Naruto instead her.

“Well then,” Naruto smiles, “I won't let that jerk defeat me! Let's go, Sakura-chan!”

“Okay… Naruko,” she jokes.

“Naruko?” she repeats. After thinking about it for a few moments, she brims with joy. “Okay, Sakura-chan. I'll be Uzumaki Naruko until I return to normal.”

After he leaves the office, Lord Tsunade makes the obvious joke: “That'll never happen.”

“I heard that!” Naruko shouts from the hallway.
