Uzumaki Naruko

Chapter 3: Utilizing the Female Force

Naruko walks towards the training ground where she became a genin. Technically, it is where Naruto became a genin. Glancing around, she starts to wonder about her future… and about her past. She, as Naruto, had many adventures with Sakura and Sasuke.
Placing a hand on the center column; the one Kakashi tied Naruto up when he tried to cheat on the bell test. Letting out a sad sigh, she tilts her head downward as she considers how the others will react to her new form. After how Sakura and Lord Tsunade reacted, she doubts it will be any better. Though, she kinda hopes Sasuke considers her to be a love interest along with being a rival.
“Uh, excuse me,” a meek voice says.
Turning around, she sees a befuddled Hinata. She usually comes here after learning this is where the-boy-she-has-a-secret-crush-on started his ninja career. She stares at the girl that resembles Naruto for a few moments before saying, “Are you…”
Naruko glances away with sadness.
“…Naruto-kun's sister?”
Naruko topples over from the question. “I can't believe I've been asked that question twice in one day!” she shouts; sitting crossed legged.
“Huh…?”
Naruko stands and faces the confused kunoichi. “Hinata, I'm not Naruto's sister,” she tells her with a soft tone. “I…” she hesitates. She then points to herself as she concludes, “…I am Naruto.”
Hinata awkwardly gawks at Naruko for a few moments, then faints.
“Hinata!” shouts Naruko. She dashes to Hinata's side. For reasons beyond her understanding, the news seemed to hit her harder than expected. It is a natural reaction considering Hinata's crush on Naruto.
Hinata starts to regain consciousness. At first, her vision was blurry. All she could see is a blonde figure standing over her; caressing her head. A gentle called out to her as her vision cleared up. “Naruto…-kun?” she murmurs.
Once her vision returns to normal, her eyes opened wide with fright. Letting out a bloodcurdling scream, she forces herself out of Naruko's arms and scurries a bit away from her. “What… what happened to you?!”
It takes Naruko a few moments to realize the awkwardness of a girl stroking another girl in such a position. She pounds a fist into an open hand. “Oh!” She smirks goofily as she scratches the back of her head. “Sorry 'bout that, Hinata. I should've warned ya before saying that.”
“That's a serious understatement!” Hinata grimly thought. “Uh… Naruto-kun…?”
“Actually, while in this form, I'd rather be called Naruko.”
Hinata gasps meekly. Nodding her head once, she continued her thought. “Naruko, why… why are you in that form?”
“I have a curse seal on the back of my neck.”
“That's terrible!”
Naruko nods. “It is a Transformation Imprisonment Curse Seal. It keeps me in this form for the rest of my life.”
Hinata couldn't believe her ears. Being trapped as a girl? She couldn't accept that fact. Her feelings was for Naruto; not Naruko.
“However,” Naruko continues, “Granny Tsunade told me I can undo this curse seal if I defeat the ninja that gave me it.”
Hinata's pale white eyes lit up with joy as she wove her fingers together. “Really?” she mutters.
Naruko nods with a cheerful smile.
“Do you know who have you that horrible seal?”
“No.” That answer was almost as blunt as her head, and half as dumb.
Hinata slouches over as a response for that answer. She was a bit annoyed at the fact Naruko knows how to remove the curse seal, yet it's basically useless.
Naruko's smile fades away as she turns her head away from Hinata. “Unfortunately,” she says morbidly, “if that shinobi defeats me in battle, the curse seal will become permanent. One battle… one chance…”
Hinata lets outs a meek sigh. She is starting to understand Naruko's plight. Even though she is not seeing her in the same way, she knows Naruto is still in there. Because of that, she hopes Naruko can defeat that shinobi.
After standing up, Hinata moves closer to Naruko with an uneasy smile on her face. It is going to take some time for Hinata to get use to Naruko, but she believes it will happen. The Hidden Leaf Village could always use another strong kunoichi.
After taking a few steps forward, a ninja in the trees throws a kunai at Hinata's blind spot. Naruko sees it and reacts by throwing a kunai to counter it. Hinata watches Naruko's kunai as it intercepts the assaulting kunai. They collide with a clang; knocking the others into the ground.
“What?!” gasps Hinata.
“Hinata, are you okay?” Naruko dashes to Hinata's side.
Hinata nods. “I am. Thanks.” Hinata puts a finger to her lower lip. “How'd that ninja know the Byakugan's flaw?”
The aggressive ninja leaps from the trees onto the ground in front of the two Hidden Leaf Village kunoichi. Standing at about 5' 8”, most of this shinobi's details are hidden in an ash brown uniform. By its appearance, this ninja could be a chuunin. The only thing the kunoichi can see is his dark green eyes. He wears his headband is on his left arm. Its emblem seems to be two pillars leaning on each other. This mysterious emblem is the same as the invading shinobi.
“Who… who are you?!” whimpers Hinata. This ninja's presence alone is sending a chill down her spine. His chakra is unlike anything either she or Naruko ever felt before.
The ninja speaks with a rough, uncaring tone as he glares at the blonde kunoichi. “You must me that Uzumaki brat,” he grumbles. He turns his cruel gaze to the trembling kunoichi. “You are part of that worthless Hyuuga clan.”
Hinata and Naruko gaze at this chuunin with confused anger. “Worthless?” they echo.
“Indeed. We ninja of the Hidden Ruin Village know about the kekkei genkai of the Hyuuga clan. To be perfectly honest, it isn't worth taking.”
Hinata is mortified at that statement. Many consider the Hyuuga clan to be the best and strongest clan of the Hidden Leaf Village. Yet this ninja, and those of his village, have the opposite opinion.
“So what if you can see the Charka Calculation System. So what if you can block the flow of charka. Those “gentle palm” techniques are only flash without any substance,” the Hidden Ruin ninja mocks. “To make matters worse,” he continues, “you have those hideous eyes!”
That statement hits Hinata hard enough to make her flinch.
“I'd be embarrassed beyond words if I had to live with just plain and blank eyes.” He smirks as Hinata falls over; whimpering from dread and fear.
The Hidden Ruin ninja starts to slowly walk towards Hinata. “My leader wants me to bring some Hidden Leaf ninja back to our base.” Reaching for his pouch, he takes out a kunai. “He wants them alive. However,” he dashes towards Hinata; holding the kunai in a striking position, “he never said they have to be in one piece!”
“Stop it!”
The Hidden Ruin ninja skids to a stop. Both he and Hinata gaze over to an infuriated Naruko. She points at the assailing ninja and shouts, “You, the Hidden Ruin loser!” she then points at herself. “If you want an opponent, it must be me: Uzumaki Naruko!”
“Is that so?”
“It is!”
The Hidden Ruin ninja glares at the frightened Hinata before turning towards Nakuro. He smirks with intense glee. Of all the genin from the Hidden Leaf Village, he wanted to battle Naruko the most. She is, after all, the host of the furious Nine-Tailed Fox demon. Both shinobi prepare themselves for battle as Hinata watches. She is not sure whether to help or not. The curse seal Nakuro has trapped her in her Sexy Jutsu form. Could it also lockout her techniques as well?
“Naruko, you should know that I, the great Jishin-sama, have never been defeated by any ninja that is lower than chuunin level.”
“There's a first time for everything!” retorts Naruko.
Jishin tightens his grip. “True. However, you won't defeat me!” he throws his kunai at Naruko, who counters with a kunai.
Just as they clash, Jishin prepares a technique. Starting with the earth seal, his hands move faster than the eye could see. Moments after completion, he slams his palms into the ground; sending his chakra through the ground towards Naruko. “Earth Element: Crushing Jaws Jutsu!”
Two half spheres form at the sides of Naruko. The two halves form spikes before closing in on its target. Naruko barely leaps out of the way before it closes. Jishin prepares to attack again. “Earth Element: Crystal Impalement Jutsu!”
Naruko lands on the ground, but has to jump again when a large crystal almost impales her. Several other crystals try to impale Naruko; preoccupying her.
Hinata gasps when Jishin turns towards her. Standing up, she tries to run away.
“You won't escape from me, Hyuuga!” Jishin prepares a different technique. “Earth Element: Crystal Cage Jutsu!”
Three crystals erupt from the ground in front of the fleeing kunoichi. Five more appear to form bars. The crystals then create two bars between themselves, and then six more bars to create its top. Hinata activates her kekkei genkai and tries to break her way out.
“Don't bother. The crystals are far too strong for someone of level could break.”
Hinata ignores him as she hits random spots.
“What a futile endeavor.”
Naruko throws a kunai at Jishin. Dodging it, he returns his focus onto her. “What the hell…?”
Naruko glares at Jishin. “Did you forget, Jishin? I'm your opponent.”
Naruko prepares to use her Shadow Clone Jutsu. She has no idea whether or not it will work, but she has no other choice. She takes a sigh before shouting, “Shadow Clone Jutsu!”
A large puff of smoke engulfs the nearby area. Jishin, not wasting this opportunity, activates his strongest technique against Naruko. “Earth Element: Crystal Jaw Jutsu!”
A larger version of his Crushing Jaw Jutsu appears. It crushes most of the smoke.
Hinata eyes open wide with horror. “Naruko!” she shouts.
Jishin smirks. That was too easy! It is just too bad I had to kill her. The smirk disappears when five Narukos appear from the smoke.
“Impossible!”
The five Narukos charge towards Jishin to perform his first taijutsu. One trips him while three others kick him into the air; each vanishing with a pool after making contact. “U-zu-ma-ki…!” they start. The fifth Naruko leaps into the air to scissor kick Jishin in his chest. “…Naruko Barrage!”
Jishin crashes into the ground, but it not defeated. He rises with a loud growl. “Did you honestly believe that'd be enough to defeat me?!”
He gawks in horror as he sees two more Narukos stand at the original location. One is creates a charka sphere in the other's hand. After completion, that Naruko vanishes as the real Naruko charges towards Jishin.
“This is for calling Hinata worthless!”
Jishin attempted to dodge, but it is too late. Naruko thrusts the chakra sphere into Jishin's chest with the shout, “Rasangan!”
Jishin screams from pain as the Rasangan sends him flying backwards. He crashes into the crystal cage; breaking it and freeing Hinata. Jishin stumbles forward a bit. He was defeated, yet had one thing to say with his final moments. “You… will never defeat… my leader…!”
Falling forward, he breaks into a cloud of dust; surprising both kunoichi.
“What… what happened?”
“Dunno, Hinata.”
Hinata walks towards Naruko with a weak smile. “Uh, Naruko,” she murmurs.
Naruko gazes at her with a confused expression. “What is it, Hinata?”
Hinata hesitates. “Thanks.”
Naruko, smiling, walks pass her. “Let's return. Hopefully, there won't be another ninja from that village.”
Hinata gives a small nod before following.
As they walked away, two Hidden Ruin ninja watch with pure anger in their eyes. This anger is not towards the Hidden Leaf kunoichi. It is towards Jishin for failing in his mission. They could easily go to attack, but they were commanded to watch. With that task accomplished, they return to their base; not knowing how their leader will respond. One thing is curtain: the battle between the Hidden Leaf and Hidden Ruin… has only begun.

Sorry for taking so long. Also, this battle is somewhat lackluster. I will try to improve its quality during the next chapter. Also, it going to be a lot funnier than this one.
