You stared at the man with shock as his name was said. “He's……...Sasori?!” You remembered your thoughts of him previously. You wished you hadn't mocked him in the first place. Deidara then rushed into the scene. Sasori grunted. “What do you want now, Deidara…” He said coldly. You glance at Deidara, and see a sudden look of worry on him. “Hidan said that your puppets are shit, and you should go get mauled by a bear, un…” There was a long pause. You gazed at Deidara shocked by what he said. “…Where is he…” Deidara informed him of Hidan's location. You were abruptly dropped on the floor on top of an old cadaver. Sasori stormed off to possibly torture and/or maim Hidan. He gave you a devilish grin. “We'll continue this later.” And he was gone. You stood up, brushing yourself off from the blood from the dead body. Deidara was standing a few feet from you. For only a moment, you looked straight into Deidara's eye, laughing a little. He didn't say a word. Instead, he walked over to you and clutched your wounded arms, causing you to let out a painful scream. It also made it worse, since he had those mouths on his hands. He was upset that you put yourself in danger. You were surprised. “I warned you about danna, hmm….” You felt your little piece of confidence shatter. You actually thought you were stronger than Sasori before! “Don't lecture me…. I know what you said…” You spat. He sighed, and held you close in his arms. It felt kind of strange to you, since the two of you never really gotten to know each other. It was somewhat like a brotherly hug. “Shut up name, I just saved your pretty head back there, un.” He looked down onto your face grinning. You smiled. “Okay, alright... Oh! Thank you for saving my pure virgin innocence Deidara-sama!!!” His hold on you grew. “You were being sarcastic…” “I know…” Deidara shoved you out of his grasp playfully. You laughed even harder.

Later on, you wished to bond with Deidara more. Leader had just sent him and Tobi on a mission that would last at least three days. You snuck out of the base at 1:32 AM to meet them, believing that all of the members were sleeping. Your face and body felt frozen from walking in the dark so much.

“Where are you going?”

You recognized that damned voice. Hidan was standing behind you, staring at your back.

“Out.”

“Whore.”

He pushed it too far. You were ready to explode.
“You know what, I'm sick of this shit, Hidan! I'm sick of you! If you fucking hate me so much, leave me the hell alone! Ever since I dug your sorry ass out of that ditch you've been acting like harsh toward me! I should have just left you there!! You bastard! You goddamn bastard! I've only been here for one day, and I already can't stand being in the same place, let alone share the same breathing space with you!!” You reached into your pocket, and threw two kunai into his chest, close to where his heart would be. You turned to leave the base. “Go fuck yourself.” You gave him the finger as you left, disappearing into the night.

Hidan stood there with a smug look on his face, pulling out the kunai from his chest. Blood dripped from the weapon to the cold stone ground. “Heh, she could have thrown harder than that…”

You felt the cold air whip against your face, as you rushed to meet up with the retreating pair. Some tears managed to make their way out of the corners of your eyes after remembering Hidan's past actions toward you. You promised yourself not to cry over stupid things, because it made you look weak toward others… especially to those of the opposite gender. A few minutes later, you spotted them. “H-Hey! Deidara!!” The blonde glanced at you from over his shoulder. Tobi's head jerked up with excitement. Just when you were about to dash for freedom, you was pulled back by a great force. “What the---”

“What do you think you're doing?” the voice demanded.
“I-I was uh, leaving with them…?” you said pointing toward the pair's direction.
“You were leaving…? I didn't give you any assignments yet….”
“I know, but!”
“Go back to the base, name.”
“….But!”
NOW.”

You frowned, heading back to the hideout. Pein seemed more grumpier than before. “Heh, I guess the `assassination' went horribly…” You grinned, kicking a rock that was in your path along the way. “Stupid leader…Hidan must have told him where I was…that prick….” you grumbled. While heading back, you felt a swift wind above you. Looking up at the night sky, you saw your “dream team” soaring on one of Deidara's clay creations. You stared in awe for a moment. Another swift wind pushed you abruptly, so you could keep moving. You walked staring at your two feet, smiling. You could have sworn you heard laughter after the second gust of wind!

Hours later you make it back. It was already morning, and your feet felt like bricks. You collapsed at the entrance and took a nap. “Ahh…” you sighed, dreaming. You've never dreamt up anything in a while. You fantasized about flying back into your house, everything better than it was before. Drinking afternoon tea, and relaxing with no cares. It made you feel so good, that you couldn't help but smile. Your smile quickly faded when you felt a sharp pain on your back.

“AUUGGHH!!!” you yelled.

Standing over you was none other than Hidan, with a trail of stitches along his neck.
“Oh!! Name! I didn't see you there! I should be more careful next time, huh?” He laughed heartily walking away. “Oh my god!!! Would you leave me alone!!!!” You spat, rubbing you back from which he stepped on. You stood up and tried to stretch by bending backwards, but stopped when you heard something crack. Letting out another yell of pain, you stood stiffly, walking to find the leader. “That asshole should be kicked out or something!” Walking through the corridors, you noticed the smell of blood. You automatically assumed it was one of Sasori's corpses, so you went in the other direction. It seemed like you were walking in circles after a while! You ended up walking outside again, but this time, there was a large lake with a stony barrier surrounding it. Feeling curious, you went toward it, barefoot. Walking to the edge of the water, you poked your big toe on its surface. Once you adjusted, you stuck your whole foot, then leg, then your entire body into the water. You kicked back, and started to float to the middle of the lake. “Ah… this is so peaceful…” You wiggled your feet, swimming backwards. For some strange reason, you felt something tickling your feet. You laughed slightly, and kept swimming backwards. It happened again, and you continued to retreat. You look at your feet to see what was causing it. “Feathers? Hmph. It must be a duck or something…” you assured yourself. The “feathers” that you had seen were navy blue, and the `duck' that was tickling you protruded out of the water. You felt a shadow looming over you. This was so not a duck… You were in shock with what you just saw. It was a scary-tall shark man! He wielded an enormous sword that had the feathers on it, covered in bandages. You were too scared to say anything, so you just stared.

“What are you looking at?”
“!!!”
“I said what are you looking at, kid?!”
“!!!”

“Great.. Another genius…” He said grunting.
“Look, if you don't leave this area I'll have no choice but to make you leave...”
You instantly snapped out of it.
“Oooho, was that a threat, shark face?” You teased.
“No, not a threat…” Large waves began to form behind him. Your heart was now beating with fear.
It was a promise!”
