A/N: PG-13 for a reason or higher, but I will explain what words mean at the end…or review and ask, and listen to my replies. Weird things happen when your in one of your comfort zones, and I decided on an interesting ending. Yes, ask all you want what the ending might be, but read it till the bottom, and you'll see. I have to get this done before school starts. Disclaimer: I own nothing, not even the song here by Jlo featuring LL Cool J called “All I have”. Sakura is Jlo, and Kakashi is LL Cool J. If I did own this stuff I wouldn't be sitting here writing a disclaimer, right? On with the show. Hopefully I'll be able to make this into a happy ending, but if not…oh well, that's the point of a song. A/U: Kakashi, and the elders are twenty-six. Jiraya is in his forties, as well as Tsunade. Sakura, Naruto, Hinata, Ino, and the rest of that bunch are 20. So AU it doesn't sound normal…

All Sakura Has

 

Prologue: Sakura Haruno. It started out as a crush on Sasuke, but as soon as Sasuke left for Orochimaru-dono, who would be by her side to help her, none other than our famous copy-nin, Hatake Kakashi. Well, a couple months later they had started going out. No more than two days ago had Sakura found out that Kakashi was cheating on her with Kurenai. Ino tells Sakura, and says, “It's for the best.” Sakura doesn't believe it, and asks Kakashi, and he can't deny it. Sakura just storms out of his house, and as soon as she leaves Kakashi follows her, and she just disappears, and starts crying near the academy were she graduated from years ago. She sits on the swing for a little bit, and sees Kakashi. She and Kakashi get into an argument so fierce that it threatens to ruin their relationship. Sakura became so irritated that she had threatened to leave Kakashi, but he's trying to get her back. Kakashi says, “Maybe on `Couples Night' at Jiraya's bar some night we can discuss this.” And then he poofs away. Who will win? A testimony of hearts.

 

Story:

It's a beautiful night. The wind is a gentle breeze, the stars are twinkling, and the moon is a beautiful silvery color. `How ironic.' Sakura thought to herself. The mood of her heart and the mood of the sky were opposites. She wishes that it would rain tonight, but nope, not a cloud in the black, velvet sky. Sakura is at the waterfall and Kakashi is trying to talk to her, Sakura just doesn't want to listen.

Kakashi thinks about this for a moment, his silver hair shining in the silvery moonlight. Sakura looking like the angel he all ways knew. Even as a twelve-year-old.

 

/Love is life

And life is living

It's very special/

Sakura comes up with an idea as the music plays in her mind. “Kakashi I have an idea.” She whispers softly enough for him to hear.

“Yes, Sakura?”

“You like kareoke, right?”

“Yes, what about it?”

“I have a place we could go tonight, but it's only for old times sake.”

“Oh, okay.” He sighed as Sakura grabbed his arm and she started rushing towards a secluded bar were it was “Couples Night”, and duets were allowed even quartets, but Sakura rushed up on stage as the last couple finished, and went to the guy who ran the bar.

“Excuse me sir, but would you mind if we sang tonight?”

“Oh, no, not a problem,” Iruka said, “What song tonight, miss?”

“All I have. Please? A song by Jlo and LL Cool J. Just suits my mood tonight.” Sakura said her eyes lighting up.

“Sure. I'll set it up.” Iruka said. `Sad. He must have broken her heart, and she found that out the hard way.'

“So, why'd you choose that song, Sakura?” It was Naruto.

“Just because. I need to express some emotions to him, and I think Ino is here, as well as Hinata. Why don't you say `hi' to them, and say to them for me as well, please?”

“Sure. Baka sensei.” Naruto threw a warning glance at Kakashi before heading off to the table with Ino, Hinata, and Temari. The music starts playing as the words fall blissfully on the screen. Sakura starts singing. Her eyes shut trying not to cry. Kakashi noticed this as the lyrics came up, and he felt guilty for what he did, and he was going to prove it on the stage.

/Sakura: Oooh/

Sakura's eyes were still closed, but she sang the lyrics, because she had memorized them ever since the day Sasuke left, and Kakashi had become her closest ex-friend.

/Kakashi: Baby don't go

Baby don't go/

He didn't want her to leave him, so he sang a little piece of himself going out to Sakura.

/Sakura: yeahhh/

Sakura could sense this, and she sang what was left of her, and all of her emotions were right up front. Ino, and Hinata started crying, because they knew what happened between Kakashi and Sakura. Naruto was just a dobe. He asked Ino to explain what happened between them, and Ino just said, “I caught him late one night with Kurenai, and told her about it. She's been bitchy ever since.” Naruto only had his mouth agape.

/Kakashi: baby don't go

Baby don't go/

Still singing with all said emotions in this song. They were lyrically fighting, but hey! It's a battle of two hearts…one broken, and one apologizing.

/Sakura: yeahhh/

/Kakashi: Baby don't go

Baby don't go/

Sakura sang her lines so deeply into it. Kakashi was the same.

/Sakura: yeah yeah

It's such a shame but I'm leaving

Can't take the way you're mistreating me

And it's crazy but oh baby

It don't matta whatever don't phase me/

Kakashi sang his lines advancing on an unsuspecting Sakura, and stood directly behind her. Most of the crowd was in tears, and smiling at this happy moment.

/Kakashi: I don't believe you wanna leave like this

I don't believe I jus had my last real kiss

I do believe we'll laugh and reminisce

Wait a minute don't bounce baby

Lets talk about this/

Sakura kept her eyes closed, and felt that old familiar warmth surrounding her again. She smiled, but she kept in time to the music.

/Sakura: well I'm bouncing and I'm out son

I gotta leave you alone

Cuz I'm good

Holding down my spot

And I'm good

Reppin the girls on the block

And I'm good

I got this thing on line

So without me you'll be fine, right?

All my pride is all I have/

Kakashi took a step closer, and now they were closer then they had thought possible. Sakura still kept her eyes closed, but the tears had long since stopped flowing from her, and now a slight smile could be seen edging its way across her angelic, or so that's what Kakashi thought at the time, face.

/Kakashi: pride is what you had, baby girl I'm what you have/

Kakashi smiled slightly or from what anyone could tell. His happy anime eye was showing, and he was hugging Sakura around the waist.

/Sakura: you'll be needing me but too bad/

Sakura shook her head, and smiled as she sang the song.

/Kakashi: be easy, don't make decisions when you're mad/

He really meant that, but she found out from a friend. Or from what the friend had seen, and he said he couldn't deny her the truth.

/Sakura: the path you chose to run alone/

Kakashi had long since run alone on his path of life, but now he had found the one person to make him happy. And that, my friends and fellow readers, is Sakura Haruno.

/Kakashi: I know you're independent you can make it on your own/

Kakashi knew that what he was saying was true, but he looked at Sakura smiling up at him, her emerald eyes open, and sparkling at him.

/Sakura: here with me you have a home/

Sakura sighed as a mushroom shaped sigh came out. Kakashi smiled.

/Kakashi: time is of the essence, why spend it alone?/

He really did wonder about most of this song, it seemed to speak more truths than he could ever recall.

/Sakura: the nights I've waited up for you, promises you made about

Coming through, so much time you wasted, thats why I had to replace you/

Sakura shook her head thinking `No, I wanted to replace Sasuke, and you came at just the right time to cheer me up. And then this mess of ours. I hope we can fix it. Hopefully tonight.'

/Kakashi: it makes a cat nervous the thought of settling down,

Especially with me I was creeping all over town. I thought my tender

Touch could lock ya down, I knew I had you as cocky as that sounds

The way you used to giggle right before I put it down, it's better when you're

Angry come here I'll prove it now (come here)/

Kakashi looked down at those emerald eyes of hers and smiled with his own mismatched eyes. `I knew I was nervous about something. Dang! This song really speaks the truth.' He thought smiling at her still shaking his head “yes” to her. Meaning that this line spoke more truths about him than he ever wanted to show to her in a night.

/Sakura: stop playing, you gaming, I got to leave you alone

Cuz I'm good

Holding down my spot

And I'm good

Reppin the girls on the block

And I'm good

I got this thing on line

So without me you'll be fine, right?

Sakura smiled as she leaned in a little closer towards him, his strong arms snaked their way across her waist protectively.

/Kakashi: pride is what you had, baby girl I'm what you have/

He just smiled as he saw a stray tear running down her eyes, as she wanted the music to stop so she could say something, but she wanted to finish the song with Kakashi. He brushed away that tear with a careful, and caring hand.

/Sakura: you'll be needing me but too bad/

Sakura sighed as she continued singing her mind whispering everything she wanted…no needed to say to him, but she could wait.

/Kakashi: be easy, don't make decisions when you're mad/

Kakashi sighed as he sang the chorus with her, and smiled, because he knew the song was meant for them. In a weird way it did, because their relationship was like this one in the song. It spoke truths that neither would want to say to the other.

/Sakura: the path you chose to run alone/

Kakashi knew he had run alone for a long time, but now it was time to chose the right path, and that pathway lead straight to his heart.

/Kakashi: I know you're independent you can make it on your own/

Sakura sighed. She knew that line was true for herself, but once Sasuke left she was no longer independent. She couldn't help but smile at how graceful he sang each word.

/Sakura: here with me you have a home/

Kakashi smiled. He knew with her he did have a home at least when it came to matters of the heart.

/Kakashi: time is of the essence, why spend it alone?

People make mistakes, to make up, to break up, to wake up

Cold and lonely, and chill baby you know me, you love me, I'm like your homie,

Instead beefing come hold me, I promise I'm not a phony, don't bounce

He knew all of what he was singing was true, and when he heard Sakura singing he thought he'd heard an angel crying. Not tears of sadness, but tears of joy as he saw another lone tear rolling down her cheek. He wanted to kiss it off this time, but his mental strength was the better of the two, and so, once again he wiped it away with a delicate hand. He felt her hand caressing his cheek as he smiled slightly.

/Sakura: nothin you can say to me that can change my mind, I gotta let you go

Now, nothin will ever be the same, so just go on your way, go ahead and do

Your thing now, and there's no more to explain to me ya know, I know ya game

Im not feelin' what you do (and I'm good) so I'm bouncing and

Im announcing (I'm good) I gotta leave you alone yeah yeah

Sakura smiled as she sang the song now. Ino, Hinata and Naruto were smiling as well. They almost applauded. Kurenai sighed. She realized that with him it had been a one-night stand, but she didn't care as long as he was happy she was happy. And anyways she'd found the guy she loved standing right next to her, Iruka.

/Kakashi: pride is what you had, baby girl I'm what you have/

Kakashi smiled slightly, but looked down at Sakura so as not to meet Kurenai's crimson glance. Iruka seemed like a happy person now, and they were happily married now.

/Sakura: you'll be needing me but too bad/

Sakura sighed as she saw his molten eyes gazing down at her, and wondered why he was averting his attention from the crowd to look at her, and then she saw why. Kurenai.

/Kakashi: be easy, don't make decisions when you're mad/

She smiled and promised herself, when he was actually a pain then she would get irritated, but now, she could tell that he looked at her that way, and the look he gave Kurenai was only a different type of love, and she knew it too.

/Sakura: the path you chose to run alone/

Kakashi knew she was right, because after years of running alone without his friends or Yondaime-sensei he did have to run a lot especially during missions.

/Kakashi: I know you're independent you can make it on your own/

Kakashi smiled as he closed his eyes wondering what Sakura would look like…BAD THOUGHTS!!!

/Sakura: here with me you have a home/

He smiled as she sang those words beautifully.

/Kakashi: time is of the essence, why spend it alone?

(Repeat)

(I promise you, I'm sad)/

He sighed a heartfelt sigh as he sang those last couple of words. Well, it looks like those two have had enough troubles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You thought that was the end? Not yet

 

 

Outside with the wind blowing ever so gently Sakura and Kakashi said what was going through their minds. “Look, I'm sorry. For what I did that night with `her',” Kakashi started, “You chose a great song, kinda let everything out in the open. You know the words so beautifully.” He said as he snaked a possessive arm around her waist. She looked up, and smiled. He looked down at her with a smile no one had ever seen before. He took of the mask, and she just smiled.

“Look, Kakashi-kun, it's all right. And arigatou!” Sakura said smiling up at him, and he just bent his head lower, and…she followed suite except her head was cupped under his hand, and a long, passionate kiss followed.

 

A/N: Baka means idiot…gomen nasai, but I had to put that in there. Naruto had noticed Sakura's feelings, and he figured it had to be Kakashi, because Kakashi was Sakura's boyfriend.
