Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ All I have is Sakura ❯ I Miss Sakura ( Chapter 2 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
A/N: Its “I Miss My Friend” by Darryl Worley. I know Sakura's hair isn't brown and her eyes are not blue-green, but that's just the lyrics, so deal with it. Oh, and for all those who don't know…Kakashi means Scarecrow…XD! It's in the story. The guy is talking about his dead wife that he considered his closest friend, and I thought that this song would be perfect for the two of them. Couple: KakaxSaku.
A/N: /Song/, story, (flashback) , `thoughts', “quotes”.
Summary: They were sent on an AnBu ranked mission, but he would be regretting the day he let her take the blow. Only characters are Hatake Kakashi and Haruno Sakura. Ages would be 17/31 years.
I miss the look of surrender in your eyes
The way your soft brown hair would fall
I miss the power of your kiss when we made love
But baby most of all
I miss my friend/
She was all he'd ever known of light and happiness, but he'd give one more day to be with her: alone. He'd lost her in the midst of a battle. They had been fighting together. She had died protecting him from a deadly jutsu. Her last words were, (“I will always love you, Hatake Kakashi, my loving scarecrow.”) Kakashi went to the stone the next day, and wondered about those days in the moonlight. Her name was Sakura Haruno. He remembered a special kiss they had shared in the moonlight of that mission. It was their last one together…for now.
/The one my heart and soul confided in
The one I felt the safest with
The one who knew just what to say to make me laugh again
And let the light back in
I miss my friend/
She seemed to be the only one he could tell everything to, but most of all he missed her smile. He missed the way they used to talk by the riverside and he'd tell her about the good old days with Team 7, and Obito, Rin, and Yondaime-sensei. She always knew just what to say when he would get that depressed look in his onyx eye and make him laugh again.
/I miss the colors that you brought into my life
Your golden smile, those blue-green eyes
I miss your gentle voice in lonely times like now
Saying it'll be all right/
He thought back to the times when he could still see her viridian eyes staring up at him and smiling brighter than the sun. Her voice was like the sound of waves to him…calming and gentle. He missed everything they did together that made everyday seem so brand new.
/I miss my friend
The one my heart and soul confided in
The one I felt the safest with
The one who knew just what to say to make me laugh again
And let the light back in
I miss my friend/
He remembered all those summer dreams they shared on the beach. The holding hands on the beach or in public. He chuckled to himself, and wondered `Will I ever see you in heaven, and if so, will you remember me?' She seemed to be looking down at him from the clouds saying `Yes, my loving Scarecrow, I will always remember you.'
/I miss those times
I miss those nights
I even miss the silly fights
The making up
The morning talks
And those late afternoon walks/
He remembered all those times they had fought each other and got on each other's nerves, and the multiple times they had broken up and seemingly within a day's time gotten back together again. The amount of times he had woken her from her sleep just to talk and watch the sunrise together. And later in the afternoon, they would be seen walking together, hand in hand. She was feisty.

He laid a kiss to her name, and remembered all those joyous times. The following day he was sent on an “S-rank” mission, and died, but he was happy, because they were together at last. Forever.
