Tobi looked into Deidara's eyes. Their usual blue color seemed paler and they were red.

Had he been crying?

He approached him, but the blonde moved backwards with every step he took until he hit the wooden entrance to the room they shared.

Was he scared?

Tobi moved closer trying to look into his eyes, but he just kept looking down. Deidara was trembling, his blond hair was covering his face, his hands were pressed against the door.

Was Tobi the thing he feared?

“Senpai,” Tobi called. “What's wrong? Are you scared? Are you scared of Tobi?”

Deidara looked into his eyes for the first time. That childish voice, was it really his real voice? “No,” he answered. “I'm not scared of Tobi, un.”

“Then what's wrong, senpai?”

“Who are you?” Deidara asked, moving closer to Tobi. “What's behind that mask?”

Tobi shivered under his gaze. “Why are you suddenly so curious, senpai?”

He need to find out, Deidara had to know who he really was. He had heard his conversation with Pein-sama. They were speaking of the true Akatsuki leader, of the Uchihas and of other things he couldn't understand. But what was worst of all was Tobi's voice. It just wasn't the one he was used to, the childish one. It was mature and serene, it was a beautiful voice.

“Senpai?” Tobi tried to read his expression, but it was impossible. Deidara was emotionless.

“Show me your face,” Deidara said. “Show me your fucking face, yeah!”

This time it was Tobi the one who stepped backwards. What had happened to him? Where had all the fear gone? Moments ago he was shaking and now he had gone crazy. Tobi backed away as much as he could, trying to avoid Deidara's emotionless face.

“Tobi!” Deidara screamed and pushed Tobi towards Deidara's bed. “Take the mask off!”

Tobi grabbed his senpai's arms, trying to control. “Senpai, please stop!” he screamed.

“I want to see your face, Tobi,” Deidara said softly. “Listen to your Senpai's request.”

For a second, Tobi lost all his strength and let loose Deidara's hand. The blond took the opportunity and removed Tobi's orange mask. For a couple of seconds he saw his pale face and his closed eyes, but before he could scrutinize it, a hand covered his eyes. It was Tobi's gloved hand.

“What are you doing?!!” Deidara screamed, trying to remove the hand so he could take a look at that perfect face he barely saw seconds ago.

“I can't let you see me, Deidara,” Tobi said with seriousness, but not changing his childish voice.

“What?! I don't care!!!”

Before Deidara could keep complaining, Tobi flipped position leaving him on top and Deidara on the bottom. His gloved had was still covering Deidara's blue eyes. “Don't push it, Tobi pleads that you don't.”

Deidara felt bad, he felt guilty. He was just so scared of that person he had heard. “Tobi…” he whispered but before he could apologize he felt a warm breath in his lips.

“Senpai,” he whispered almost touching his lips.

Then he was gone. Tobi had disappeared. Deidara looked around trying to see if he had hidden or something, but he was gone, even his mask had disappeared. Deidara pressed his hand to his lips, they were warm. Tobi had left them warm.

Oh God, surprisingly this was a little hard to write. I mean I wasn't sure how to put it, but yeah I guess I did just fine. Or did I?

Well, I don't know.
