Summary: Sasuke is a poetic vampire. Nami is a girl who has never believed in love or vampires. She was always a logical girl; everything had a reason. So meets a vampire? I suck at summaries so. Please R&R… I'll give you a cookie if you do… and if you don't I'll send vampire Sasuke after you! Lol.

 

Author's note: This is one of my favorite stories that I've written so be nice and PLEASE review and BTW I wrote all the poems in this Fanfiction, So PLEASE do NOTsteal them I worked really hard on writing them. If I don't get a certain amount of review by the end of the second chapter, I might not continue writing this fanfic.

Blood Lust

Chapter 1

 

The rain fell heavily from the dark rain clouds and lighting flashed. Suddenly the whole room went black. Nami pressed her back against the wall, the power had gone out. Nami sighed.

 

“There's no need to stay here for much longer, I guess I'll go for a walk,” she said to herself.

 

Nami walked over to the door and put on a black coat. The door suddenly opened. Ino walked in.

 

“Nami, did you hear?” she asked.

 

“Heard what?” Nami questioned.

 

“I girl was killed last night, on her neck was found two holes. They are presumed to be vampire bites!” Ino exclaimed.

 

“Ino, there are no such things as vampires, they are fictional creatures in books. They're not real,” Nami said. “A vampire didn't murder that girl.”

 

“Then how do you explain the two holes in her neck?” Ino asked.

 

“Easy, her girl's murderers wanted to make sure that no one picked up on their trail, so after they killed her, they stabbed two little holes in her neck,” Nami argued.

 

“That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard!” Ino said. She looked at Nami. “Why do you have your jacket on?” Ino questioned.

 

“I'm going for a walk,” Nami answered.

 

“But, but, you can't! There's vampires out at night, they'll kill you or worse!” Ino yelled.

 

Nami sighed.

 

“Ino! There is NO such things as vampires, get it through your head!” she exclaimed.

 

“But-“ Ino tried to explain.

 

“Bye Ino,” Nami waved at Ino and walked out the door.

The ground was stained dark red with innocence's blood. There was a tang of blood; a metallic taste in the vampire's mouth, he let his dead prey drop to the ground. The vampire looked up from his prey; his mouth was caked with blood. The vampire's name was Sasuke. Sasuke was dark and cold; his blood lusts were uncontrollable. Sasuke wiped the blood off his face; he looked down at the dead girl that he had sucked her blood dry. Sasuke sighed in relief. His blood lusts had been satisfied, for now at least. Sasuke looked down at the shallow puddle of blood on the ground.

 

He sighed again.

 

“This puddle is almost as shallow as my soul,” he said.

 

Sasuke was a dark, poetic vampire; he was almost always making poems to relate to his dreadful life and his heart that did not beat. Sasuke smiled and began to walk away; he stopped frozen in his tracks. Sasuke could hear a heart beating slowly and steadily. Sasuke hid in the shadows, he wanted to see the human approaching.

 

Nami walked down the street she stopped by a dark alley, she began to walk into it. Little did she know that in that alley was the vampire, Sasuke.

 

Sasuke began to follow her; he still kept to the shadows. There was a loud crash, Sasuke had walked into a garbage can, by accident and he had knocked it over.

 

Nami spun around. Sasuke hid.

 

“Who's there?” Nami asked.

 

Nobody answered. Nami turned around and continued to walk down the alley. She began to hear footsteps.

 

Sasuke was getting too close to her. Nami's heart started to beat faster, after all a girl was killed last night. And even thou Nami did not believe that a vampire kill the girl, I didn't mean that there wasn't a killer on the loose. There were some more noises. Nami was getting really freaked out.

 

Nami started to run towards the end of the alley, she was almost there, just a little further. Sasuke grabbed Nami's arm and pushed her down to the ground. Sasuke sat on top of her, so that she couldn't move.

 

Nami screamed.

 

“Get off of me!” Nami ordered, she tried to struggle herself free.

 

Sasuke laughed.

 

“Why are you trying to leave so fast? The party's just begun.” he said.

 

Nami kept struggle to get free.

 

“Let me go you freak!” she demanded.

 

Sasuke smiled. He tightened his grip on Nami.

 

“I really don't like to be told what to do,” Sasuke replied.

 

Nami gave up on trying to struggle free. Her eyes met the Sharingan of Sasuke's eyes. Sasuke smiled again, showing his fangs.

 

“Wha- what are you?” Nami asked in horror.

 

 

I walk alone in the shadows,

Remembering all the pain and sorrow I've seen,

I am a hunter of the darkness,

Forever I search for prey.

 

I hear my victim's heart beating,

Reminding me that mine doesn't,

My fangs dig deep into their neck,

My mouth becomes caked with blood.

 

The moon is bright above me,

It's light shadows my shape,

My heart was made as hard as stone,

And as cold as ice.

 

I never look back on my life before,

The night my heart stopped beating,

I am merciless and cold,

This is who I've become… a vampire who lusts for blood.

Sasuke just had to answer Nami through a poem.

 

“But… there's no such things as vampires!” Nami said.

 

Sasuke laughed.

 

“Then what do you think I am?” he asked.

 

“I'm… I'm not sure, but you're not a vampire, vampires don't exist!” Nami yelled.

 

Sasuke laughed again and stood up off Nami. Nami stumbled to her feet. Sasuke took a step towards her.

 

“Do you want me to prove I'm a vampire?” Sasuke asked.

 

Nami was frozen in fear for a moment; she walked towards Sasuke. She put her hand on his cheek; Nami pulled her hand away right away. Sasuke's skin was pale and ice cold. Sasuke grabbed Nami's arm and he dug his fangs into her wrist, he sucked out a little of her blood. Nami pulled her arm away.

 

Sasuke smiled.

 

“Don't worry, love,” You're not going to die or change into a vampire,” he informed her.

 

Nami took a step back from Sasuke.

 

“You're not a vampire, you're just a madman!” Nami yelled.

 

Sasuke showed his fangs and laughed.

 

“You'd better go unless you want to die!” Sasuke replied.

 

Nami looked at him in horror and she began to run away. Sasuke was laughing. Nami ran inside her house, Ino wasn't there anymore. Nami walked into her room and fell onto her bed.

 

Was this guy really a vampire?
