Breaking Point

 

Chapter One: Freeing Sasuke

 

Sasuke sighed. Then he cursed Naruto for bringing him back from his mission to kill Itachi. After killing Orochimaru that was his soul purpose in life. Now after being in this hellhole of a prison the raven could think of nothing more than revenge on a certain blond haired Shinobi. The sound of the alarms going off caught his attention. After a second they stopped. A dark eyebrow rose. Pained screams brought him back to the thought of someone breaking into the prison. A splash of blood spilled on the bars of his cell. A figure cloaked in black held the sword out and cut the seal holding the door closed. Sasuke stared at the stranger for a minute. Then he looked at the Tachi that was covered in blood. The door swung open with a slow creak of rusty hinges. In a flash the sword was sheathed and the cloaked figure turned around to leave.

 

“Wait!” Sasuke shouted. The figure turned its head and Sasuke caught a glimpse of blue.

 

“Naruto?” Naruto's head turned back forward and he continued walking.

 

“You better come on unless you want the Anbu locking you back up.” The raven heard from down the hall. He was shocked. When had Naruto gotten so…he shook his head and followed after the blond.

 

 

They were outside Konoha now. Sasuke watched as Naruto walked with patients and with finesse. The raven was stunned. This wasn't the Naruto that was in team 7 with him. Nor was it the Naruto that came after him twice. This Naruto…

 

“Yes I am not the same Naruto you knew.” Naruto spoke as if he read the Uchiha's mind.

 

“What happened to you Naruto?” The blond stopped walking and pulled down his cloak. When he turned around Sasuke gasped. There was a scar running down his left eye.

 

“I died.” He said very seriously.

 

“Naruto.”

 

“I have fulfilled my blood oath to you Brother. I must be going my way now.” Naruto said as he continued walking. A pale hand stopped Naruto and he turned to face the Uchiha.

 

“Is that all you thought of me? As your brother? What are you going to do now?”

 

“What I do now is none of your concern, unless that is, you wish to join me.” Naruto said as he regarded his best friend. Sasuke was quiet for a moment before nodding his head. Naruto chuckled and raised his hands.

 

“I'm going to join Akatsuki and help them in their plot to destroy Konoha!” Sasuke flinched. This Naruto was terrifying.

 

“Actually he has already joined.” Sasuke's eyes widened and snapped in the direction of behind Naruto. Itachi stood there with his usual blank expression. Itachi pressed his body against Naruto's and placed his hand on his forehead. The blond looked at Sasuke with hooded eyes. Itachi turned his head as if to whisper into Naruto's ear his eyes never once leaving the younger Uchiha.

 

“His first mission was to infiltrate Konoha and break you out without getting caught.” Itachi told Sasuke.

 

“I got caught. Kakashi was a fool.” Naruto chuckled.

 

“He thought I was there solely to break you out. He didn't know I was already apart of Akatsuki.”

 

“I'll kill you!” Sasuke shouted in anger.

 

“Not today little brother.” After that all Sasuke saw was darkness.

 

“Let's go, Leader will want a full report.” Naruto chuckled as the two left Sasuke lying on the ground.
