An amused grin came across his features. His eyes glittered with the outmost excitement; he had not had this much fun in a while. He had been too busy with so many things, mostly his job, that he really didn't have the time to enjoy the company of his childhood friends.

He missed spending time with his teammates, but now that he found Sasuke's dirty little secret he wasn't about to let him go without making him suffer. Of all the years that they have gotten into fights whether it was a physical or verbal fight, Naruto always ended up losing no matter how much he tried. He felt a necessity to help Sasuke hook up with Sakura, but it wasn't going to be free or painless. Even though he did not want to admit it out loud Sasuke was a close friend despite their quarrels.

He could tell Sasuke was extremely upset by the way his mouth his curved down and his eyes held a murderous glow.

"What the hell do you want Naruto?" he spat with a sneer that accompany his face.

"Nothing really, I'm just thinking," he said while his smile seemed to beam by the second, "hey Sasuke, don't you think Sakura-chan has gotten hot over the years? I mean, she has always been hot to me, but lately she has been looking more seductive..."

His sentence drifted for a while and noticed that he had Sasuke's full attention. He began to scribble on the dirt with a twig and decided to speak once again.

"She has the perfect body, a nice little waist, a nice firm ass, and not to mention her knockers, which for your information have gotten bigger since her fifteenth birthday. Her luscious pink lips, her silky bubblegum-pink hair, her..."

"What are you getting at Dobe?!" Sasuke impatiently asked.

"Well, nothing really.... I'm just thinking, that's all," replied Naruto while brushing away imaginary dust from his pants.

Sasuke raised an eyebrow at him and noticed he had his sight fixed at a particular spot on the ground. He followed his gaze only to be surprised. It was a doodle of a stick figure Sasuke and Sakura holding hands with the title "Sasuke loves Sakura-chan's big breasts!"

He felt his eyebrows twitch from annoyance; he was debating whether to murder Naruto right there in that spot and dump his body near a river, and later claim that he was eaten alive by a wild bear because of his own stupidity.

"Come on Sasuke, you know you do," Naruto kept his taunting, knowing it was Sasuke's sore spot, "I bet the only thing you want to do right now is go look for Sakura-chan and rip her clothes off and claim her as yours. You probably want to make her scream in ecstasy, make her cry out your name, and make sweet-sweet love to her. Gosh Sasuke, I never knew you had those kinds of thoughts about Sakura-chan, too bad though, she's with Neji..."

What a pervert!!

Sasuke shook his head, if Naruto kept talking anymore about Sakura he was probably going to snap and end up hurting him.

"You wouldn't want me to tell Sakura-chan--" Naruto was abruptly stopped by Sasuke's hand while his free hand covered the doodle.

"Tell me what?" Sakura asked as she came towards the clearing where the guys were sitting.

Sasuke immediately shook his head and vigorously stirred the ground to erase Naruto's drawing as Sakura made her way towards them. Sakura stopped and gave him a questioning look, which in return received a glare from Sasuke and a stifled laugh from Naruto.

"What's going on here?" she asked.

"Nowthawng!" Naruto said behind Sasuke's hand, which was covering his mouth.

"Nothing, huh?" she said and slowly walked around Sasuke.

She bent down and stared at her teammates. Sasuke seemed to be avoiding her while Naruto keep eyeing her towards Sasuke's direction. She couldn't understand what Naruto was trying to tell her with his eyes, so she decided to check Sasuke who was looking somewhere else. She noticed he had a tint of red on his face and felt laughter bubbling out of her mouth, but she repressed it.

"Ne, Sasuke-kun what's the matter?" she asked with her sweetest girliest voice she could muster while emphasizing the -kun on his name.

His only response was a darker shade of red that contrasted against his pale skin. Her smile widened and she could feel Naruto was also enjoying the scene.

"You don't look so good," she gently grabbed his hand that was covering Naruto's mouth intertwining her finger with his, and placed her forehead against his. His eyes widened in surprise.

"Maybe you should rest for a little bit before we continue this mission. Besides it wouldn't hurt to relax before we have to start working our asses off to find the scrolls. And of course we don't want a teammate that is not feeling well, that will only hinder us during the mission." Sakura said while she kept her emerald eyes locked with Sasuke's onyx eyes.

He slowly nodded, which resulted in making Sakura smile, and quickly glanced at Naruto who was making kissing faces at him. His right eyebrow twitched. He was sure that by the end of the mission Naruto was going to have broken bones if he kept with his teasing.

"Alright then, we leave in half in hour, understood?" Sakura asked while at the same time receiving nods from both her male companions.

"Good!" she happily exclaimed.

Kakashi made his way towards Tsunade's office. It seemed that lately he had been going there nonstop since the departure of his former students. More meetings were held with discussions of a possible war.

He was a bit worried about team seven. They had been gone for over two weeks and had not received any word from them. If anything was bothering him the most was the fact that Konoha had received threats from a group of missing-nins. Not only that, but within the threats were his student's names listed as hostages and claims on the ownership of the forbidden scrolls.

He ran his right hand through his silver hair. He felt irritated that he couldn't do anything; he desperately wanted to look for his former students but was prohibited by Tsunade. He was needed in Konoha just in case the missing-nins decided to attack the village.

"Kakashi, you're on time for once," replied Tsunade with a somber smile. Kakashi nodded in response and sat down next to Genma who was chewing on a long toothpick.

Asuma glanced at Kakashi noticing his weariness from the lack of sleep. He could tell by Kakashi's body attitude that he was extremely worried about his students. Asuma could only imagine what Kakashi was going through. The top three ninjas of Konoha, which were Kakashi's legend, were missing and probably dead by the hands of professional killers. He heaved a sigh and sat back down against his chair.

"As you know we have been receiving threats from a particular group of missing-nins. It consists of about six members as far as the ANBU has reported. At the moment we don't know what their intentions are, but it is likely that they want to start a war. They have no ties to the Akatsuki organization, but we suspect that they are involved in some way with Orochimaru," Tsunade laid her chin on her hands, "I sent a group of three to retrieve the forbidden scrolls about two weeks ago..."

Kakashi flinched upon hearing where this conversation was going.

"...They have not returned. I have no doubt in my mind that they came across those tugs."

"What exactly are these scrolls? We keep hearing about forbidden scrolls every time we have a meeting, but we never go into detail as to what they contain," replied Kurenai who was sitting next to Asuma. Tsunade kept silent.

"She has a point. How do we know exactly what were up against if we don't have all the information," Genma said between chews.

Everybody in the room began whispering amongst themselves. Tsunade heaved a frustrated sigh and looked out towards the window. The room became quiet; waiting for Tsunade's answer.

"I was still the Sandaime's student when I heard about these scrolls. It contains ancient jutsus, I'm not sure if anybody is capable of breaking the seals on the scrolls, let alone manage to use the jutsu. It requires perfect chakura control, not that many people have that." Tsunade said.

"I think your mistaken, Tsunade. There was one person who was able to use one of the three scrolls. Don't you remember? The Third left us for a month, he had to take care of that lunatic." Jiraiya said while walking towards Tsunade's desk. She raised her brows indicating she didn't remember.

"And I think sending Haruno Sakura on that mission was a big mistake, she--" Jiraiya was cut off by Tsunade's blow onto the desk.

"What do you mean it was a mistake?! She's one of my top female ninjas I have in this village!! Jiraiya, if you're indicating that she is not capable of--"

"That is not what I meant!" Jiraiya butted in, "Don't you remember the name of the lunatic who wracked havoc using the jutsu?!" Tsudane shook her head no.

"...No? That's what I thought." Jiraiya said seriously.

"This...this mission was a set up?" Kakashi asked with disbelief, "It was a trap lure Sakura in, wasn't it?....Answer me?!!"

"ENOUGH!!" Tsunade yelled causing the room to shake, "Jiraiya, what does this have to do with Sakura?"

Jiraiya strolled across Tsunade's broken desk and plopped down on the couch. He rubbed his chin while pondering about the past.

"His name was Haruno Kana. An excellent ninja, had perfect chakura control...probably the best damn chakura control in the Fire country. The forbidden scrolls were the Haruno clan's most prized possessions. I don't remember how Kana obtained the scrolls, but he used it to his advantage to eliminate most of his clan. He had some kind of grudge against his own family. I never really found out what it was, but it must have been huge for him to murder his clan the way he did." Jiraiya gravely replied.

"How?" asked an impatient Tsunade.

"He brutally killed all the children. Then he worked his way up killing the rest of the clan, the only people he left alive were women who had a rare shade of green eyes, really odd if you ask me. There were a couple of Haruno men who survived. That was only because they were out of the village working on missions when this happened. It was a nasty sight, too much blood and gore all over the damn place. The Uchiha massacre can't even be compared to this." he noticed Tsunade settle back down to her chair.

"It could be a possibility that the group of missing-nins found out about the Haruno scrolls from Orochimaru. Since Sakura is the only one of the Haruno family in her generation with perfect chakura control, then it was only a matter of time before they started planning ways to trap her. I guess this would benefit Orochimaru since he gets to keep the Uchiha boy."

Tsunade rubbed her aching head. She had forgotten about the Haruno incident many years ago. She shouldn't have forgotten it so easily; it was the talk of the town for years after it happened. She took a peek at her visitors, she noticed Kakashi was fuming while Jiraiya and the rest of the ninjas had their eyes locked onto her.

"You are all dismissed. Jiraiya, Kakashi, I need to speak with both of you."

Everyone started making their way out of the room. Shizune stayed by the door to make sure everyone left as Tsunade had requested. She bowed to Tsunade and softly closed the door leaving Kakashi, Jiraiya, and Tsunade alone.

"Three days..." she began, "If they do not return or we do not hear from them within three days I'm sending a large ANBU team after them."

They nodded in agreement.

------------------------------------------------------------

She was having nightmares again. She couldn't make them go away. The room was freezing cold, and she could feel her body going numb by the second. The coldness was making it hard for her to bring air into her lungs. She saw him; the way he slithered towards her direction. He reached her and bent down slowly to her level. He smiled slightly while gently stroking her cheek tenderly. His touch was very cold. He snaked his hands from her thighs to her chest, one rested on her waist and the other hand rested just above her breasts where her heart lays. She tried moving away, but the more she tried to break free from his hold, the more his grip on her waist tightened. He brought his mouth near her ear and whispered delicately into it.

"Don't fight it my little cherry blossom, you'll grow fond of me if you just let yourself."

He nuzzled her neck, gently nibbling at her collarbone. She suddenly felt soaring pain on her chest where his hand laid. It began to burn through her skin, making her gasp to the excruciating pain. She heard him chuckle against her skin, before she felt his fangs plunge into her neck making her cry out into the darkness.

"STOP, PLEASE!!!" Sakura cried as a set of fresh tears spilled from her eyes.

"Sakura…Sakura, its ok. Everything we'll be just fine, I'm here. Shhh…don't cry."

Sasuke cradled Sakura into his arms. She stopped squirming against his embrace and slowly tightened her hold onto him. He heard her sobs quiet down into soft whimpers.

Sakura, what's wrong with you...
