Rating: The rating is M, but I'm deciding how much lemon/lime to put in each chapter.

Summary: After ten years a vampire prince has reunited with his love to find out that Naruto does not want to partake in their childhood promise. The vampire's betrothed refuses to become his bride; now Sasuke will do anything to make Naruto his. The raven is positive if he forces his feelings on the blond his unrequited love/affection will be returned.

 

Childhood Promise

Chapter 1 :Do you remember me?

 

~Flashback/Dream~

 

The zephyr made its way through the playground, winding through the swing sets and climbing up the slides. The playful breeze was the only witness to a childish whim, a promise between two boys. The raven-haired youth with pale skin was Uchiha, Sasuke the prominent heir to the Uchiha clan in the underworld. In the human realm he was the heir to the Uchiha Corporation besides his elder brother, Itachi Uchiha. The raven's knowledge expanded that of two worlds, his current grade level should be that of a prestigious scholar. Despite all his advances he remains in a grade that is respectable with that of his exterior appearance. Across from the onyx-eyed child bright blue eyes, ones that could challenge the sky were brimming with happiness. Those blue eyes belonged to a tanned boy whose secrets were held behind his azure eyes.

 

“Naru-koi, I'm leaving soon and won't be back for a while. So I want you to promise me something, before I leave, okay?”

 

“Naru-chan promises,” the chipper blond replied.

 

With a small smile Sasuke continued, “Naru-koi when I come back will you be my bride?”

 

Naruto answered with the only amount of confidence a young child could. “Naru will be Sasu's bride. Sasu promishes to let Naru-chan, fly with him when he's back?”

 

With another small smile Sasuke removed his black turtleneck t-shirt and revealed a pair of black wings tightly packed against his back. Watching Naruto's face as he stretched his wings to a span that was twice his own he couldn't help but be filled with a warm feeling. The blond had always jumped at the chance to fly with him. Sasuke had always thought being a vampire was tiresome. But to be able to fly with his koi, it made it all the more bearable. Seeing Naruto's gleaming eyes he couldn't help but embrace the blond in a tight hold. Shifting slightly so his mouth barely grazed his ear Sasuke whispered a promise to the blond.

 

“When I come back I promise to let my Naru-koi fly with me. You'll fly right next to me with a pair of wings all your own.”

 

Staring up in disbelief the beaming blue eyes questioned him. “Really?!” they asked. Or I guess squealed in excitement. Naruto was on a total hype mode, but when Sasuke nodded he shot straight to cloud nine.

 

Snuggling up to the raven Naruto whispered “Naru-chan is Sasu's foreber and eber.” Putting on a pout that dared the raven to disagree he was instead surprised by a pair of lips that softly grazed his own.

 

~Flashback/Dream End~

 

Stirring from his deep slumber Naruto groggily greeted the new day. Passing a hand through his unruly mop of hair he cracked open an eye. That one eye lazily scoped out his bedroom before another joined it. The light that entered his bedroom fully awoke the sleeping blonde. Well that and…

 

`Kit! I've been trying to get you up for the past hour!

 

Sitting in an upright (but still very slouchy) position, he glanced around his room once more. When his eyes landed on a bright orange clock he stared at it quizzically.

 

`Now I know there wasn't a time difference, but that time can't be right.'

 

`Oh, trust me there's nothing wrong with that clock. But you're brain that's a whole other story.'

 

`Wait, so if that's the time's right, that means I'm…I'm'

 

`You're late,Kit,' Kyuubi stated before he started to laugh, I mean cackle at the blonde's stupidity.

 

“Oh, shit!” Naruto wasn't a stickler for perfect attendance, but he made it a point never to be late `less he wants to meet the wrath of his current protector. Iruka would have his ass on a platter if he was late again. (1) Now frantically running around his room the blond was trying to get ready.

 

“FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!” Naruto screamed as he pulled on a pair of orange jeans with a picture of a frog on his left thigh. Practically hopping around the room trying to pull his pants all the way up and get his black muscle shirt on he tripped. The impact made a THUD on the dorm floor. (2) In his mind he could hear Kyuubi laughing mischievously at the frantic blond.

 

`Serve's you right for watching that late night anime.'

 

`Yeah, yeah so says the guy that made me stay up.' Naruto countered sarcastically. This almost at once shut the demon up. Throwing on his orange jacket he headed to a corner to pick up his froggy backpack. (3) Checking himself in the mirror he deemed himself and his untamable gold locks presentable.

 

`You know Kit your stupidity never ceases to amaze me.' If the Kyuubi had his own body he'd be rolling on the floor his hands holding his stomach as he cackled loudly at the blond's expense.

 

“Oh shut it! My day sucks enough without you intruding my thoughts every chance you get.”

 

`Ooh, touchy, touchy.'

 

Naruto had about enough of his demon friend and decided to block all future comments from his annoyance. Walking out of the dorm he thought, `well, time for one hell of a sprint to class.' The school was about a 30 minute walk but Naruto could run it in ten minutes or less. This was probably one of the few instances in which Kyuubi was useful.

 

When he made it to school all the blond could remember was running at an unimaginable speed before BAM something hit him. In truth he was about to stop in front of the classroom door, but not before it took the pleasure of opening itself for the blond; with a hard THWACK as a greeting. Before he had come to his senses he felt a hand grab his wrist and his body becoming lighter as he was hoisted up.

 

“Are you all right?” the person before him asked.

 

Naruto stared at him curiously his eyes tracing over the boy's features. For some reason his dark demure eyes seemed so familiar. Something that was so distant yet so close all at the same time. All of a sudden a name popped into his head, “Sasu,” the blond whispered before he realized it was out loud.

 

“Yes?” The raven looked pleased as if he was waiting for the blond to call him so.

 

Naruto did not hear the boy's voice; he was currently in deep concentration his eyes locked on Sasuke's.

 

“Naru?” it wasn't that he didn't like his (A/N: cough, cough) lover's eyes on him but Naruto's staring was starting to unnerve him.

 

`You better answer him Kit, anything to stop your drooling.'

 

“I'm not drooling!” Naruto screamed before he realized it was out loud.

 

`That's it, now he's laughing at you.' After Kyuubi spoke Naruto turned his attention to the raven who was indeed laughing at him. More or less likely it was a faint chuckle but this didn't help the blond's current situation. Naruto's embarrassment rose, so he said a quick "Thanks," and sped toward the door.

 

Almost as abruptly as the blond had turned around thin pale fingers wrapped around his tan wrist.

 

“Shall we get to class my Naru-koi?” the raven used the term “lover” so casually when he placed it behind Naruto's name, almost as if it belonged their.

 

“K-koi?” the blond stammered. The name carried some familiarity but to have a stranger call him `koi' that was just too weird.

 

Sasuke was surprised that he didn't receive a warming smile. The boy he had come to love over the years no longer loved him?

 

“You don't remember me?” Sasuke hid his confusion behind an Uchiha mask of seriousness.

 

`Remember? I don't even know him.' Naruto thought to himself and oddly enough the ever intrusive Kyuubi had nothing to say… I mean think. `I can't deny that once-upon-a-time vibe, but I still have no idea who he is.' So without any memory or knowledge of the stranger all the blond could come up with was…

 

“Excuse me?”(4) Looking at the pale figure before him he noticed him biting his lower lip.

 

`You're an idiot Kit.'

 

“I am not!” Naruto yelled in a whiny childish tone.

 

“Naru?” the raven removed his focus from the plan inside his head and placed it on the blond. A smirk played across his lips and before Naruto could assess what was going on he blanked out.

 

--------------- Sasuke the vampire ---------------- Naruto the lover ----------------------

 

In the classroom Iruka was waiting for his new transfer student to come in. This was his second period class the same class said blond in the hallway should be in. Iruka being the patient cutie he was waited and waited and waited. I would keep on but even as a patient a man as the teacher was he had to cross the line somewhere. He decided it was best for him to go get the student from the hall, but poor sensei. When he opened the door he found Naruto against a wall and his new student trailing his tongue along the blond's jaw line. It's not as if this was a major shock to the History teacher I mean he was Naruto's somewhat father figure and knew much of Naruto's life. (5)

 

“Sasuke if you would please release Naruto I would like to continue with my class.”

 

Acting as if what he had done was nothing out of the ordinary Sasuke released the blond from his grasp placing a peck on his cheek before he entered the jungle of female girls. The blond wavered slightly as he felt his senses returning to him. The sensei chuckled as he watched Naruto's flushed face rush past him and into the classroom. The boy's childhood crush hadn't been there for more than a day and Naruto had already fallen so deep.

 

When Iruka had entered he could already note Sasuke's dominance over the blond. Naruto had forced the raven to sit away from him and Sasuke did comply. I mean a seat or two is a form of separation right? Especially when you count all the girls' hording Sasuke's seat. But this didn't really matter, as the raven used the horde to inch closer to the unsuspecting blond. But Naruto's mind was elsewhere tracing back to the previous minutes the ones he could barely remember.

 

The raven's prior actions were against Naruto's will but there was no way the blond could fight back. The boy's eyes had glowed red and three commas began to circle around them almost like a hypnotist and his watch. Naruto's body became fully immobile and he could not stop his pleasurable gasps and moans as the raven kissed and bruised him leaving light hickeys on his collar bone. These of which he was lucky no one could see.

 

`Come back to reality Kit you're freaking out your classmates.'

 

Naruto hadn't realized that he was lightly banging his head on the desk as if he was slowly wishing for a head injury. Turning a bright crimson as he noticed everyone staring at his pitiful act he placed his head on the table willing for it to stay stuck there. After Iruka-sensei got the classes attention on the board he left them with a couple questions to answer.

 

Naruto still had his face plastered to the desk when he felt a hand lightly nudging his back. Looking up, regretfully, his eyes met dark onyx.

 

“It's best you start working. Do you need help?” Sadly for Naruto, Sasuke does not realize that his innocent question had girls glaring daggers at the poor blond. The only girl to actually take action was a bubblegum haired girl, Naruto's crush.

 

“Ohayo, Sakura-san,” Naruto curtly waved at the girl before him, hiding the tint on his cheeks. Hiding, but not well enough for Sasuke to miss it.

 

The girl looked at him directly and said a small “hai,” before turning in Sasuke's direction. Naruto already knew to block out this conversation. Turning to his backpack Naruto pulled out an orange notebook with Gammabunta on it. (Frog character from Naruto) Opening his notebook he turned his head to see a smirking Uchiha and a very depressed green eyed girl.

 

“Now, where were we?” Sasuke whispered as he leaned in to help the blond. His help may not have been wanted but it couldn't be refused, Naruto really did need help.

 

`Great my life sucks! First I'm late to school, and then I get tongued by a stranger! AND NOW my high school crush has a crush on the toungee!' Naruto went through the list of problems in his head like a whiny child. `My life sucks,' he finally stated.

 

`Kit you have no idea.'

 

(1)Naruto may live by himself but Iruka keeps constant tabs on him. Think of it as a father that never rests, he's at school but also visits the blond regularly.

(2)Did I mention he lives in a dorm? Sorry for the confusion.

(3)Beware the froggy, you're going to see a lot of him. (A/N: Naruto's obsessions ramen and frogs)

(4)I know, I know stupid as hell but my minds running on lack of sugar.

(5)Iruka knows of Naruto's amnesiac crush on Sasuke well he doesn't know that Naruto doesn't remember

 

 

I did some editing and I'll explain the missing gaps. I just have yet to know where I'll fill these into the story.

 

black suede: I took out most of the A/N after reading it over I got annoyed at myself

 

koyumi ishihara: Naruto has amnesia because a sneaky little fox demon took away his memory of Sasuke. I expect the part explaining this will come up in later chapters

 

iyfanatic: I think chibi Sasuke is cute also but his niceness will come back after a certain aniki stops giving him ideas
