The Strange Ass Gang
The light flickered of the darkened walls of the cave from the few torches that lined it. There was the flicker of approaching lights and the sound of heavy footfalls. The characteristic sound of metal could be heard echoing down the halls. As the party rounded the corner the brilliant light from the leaders head could be seen.
“I hate you guys.” The man's voice dripped hatred.
The light radiated off of the black hood that covered his head and filled the small space. His black hair lightly fell in front of his black skin, fair complexion, and angular features. His eyes gleamed a bright red from out of the hood. The rest of his outfit matched his hood, black and light.
“We needed something to cast light on and seeing as you're always up front.” The man behind him explained.
His light tan hair fell over his scarred face and was pulled into a loose ponytail. He wore a full suit of metal armor that covered him from his feet to neck. On one arm there was a large tower shield firmly secured and in his other hand he carried a long sword over his shoulder, off of which hung a visored, metal helmet.
“That's because I'm the assassin scout you stupid human!” The fore mentioned shouted.
“What did you say, dark elf?!” The armored man growled.
“We don't need to scout an area we've already been through.” A blonde haired woman pointed out with a smile.
Her long blonde hair fell down her back and was tucked behind her pointy ears. Her bright blue eyes glittered in the light as her face shown with its own beauty. She wore skin tight, brown, leather pants and a thigh high boots. Her green tunic was loose but a low enough cut to show off some skin, across her back hung a quiver of arrows and a long bow.
“She is correct Shadow Hawk. Do not worry I can remove the spell at any time.” A tall brown haired man comforted.
His hair was orderly brushed and placed behind his ears. His brown eyes matched his hair, loose brown pants, and boots. His long dark blue robes fell to his knees and was secured with a thick, black, leather belt where strange metallic symbols jingled off it.
“Unless Marionette shots you in the back again Duncan.” The armored man chuckled.
“Oh be quiet Alexei!” Marionette fumed.
“I hungry.” An extremely tall muscular figure said from behind them all.
The figure was a large human like thing that would have stood over ten feet tall if not for the confining cave. Its little tuft of black hair was held back into a ponytail, held in place by what looked like a human skull. It had blood red eyes set in deep pits and protruding, sharp teeth coming from its mouth. Its skin was tough, rough, yellowish leather that had scars covering almost all the exposed parts. Most of its body was covered in black, spiked metal plates and battle worn clothes though. On its back hung a large bag and tower shield almost as tall as it was, at its belt hung two huge maces, bladed and deadly.
“Well then look in the bag for something Trog. I'm sure you could find something to chew on.” Alexei waved away as the party continued forward.
Trog pulled the bag in front of him self and reached in. He pushed aside old items, gold coins, a scroll or two, until his large hand came across a small box. He pulled the box out and eyed it. It was a little silver box with a single black stone on the apparent lid and strange symbols lining the seams. He sniffed it a bit.
`Don't smell like food.' He concluded.
He tried to pull the lid open but it refused to budge. He continued to pry at the lid another few seconds before grunting annoyance and tossing the small box behind him and caught up with the party in easy strides. It hit the ground with a strange thud that the other party members did not hear, Trog turned to see the lid of the little box slide open and a strange white light begin to seep out like liquid and cover the cavern behind them. Trog turned forward and poked Duncan's shoulder.
“What?” Duncan asked irritably as he closed the book he had been reading.
“White light.” Trog replied simply.
“White light? What white light?” Duncan asked as a confused look crossed his face.
Trog pointed with a thumb to behind him self where the light was quickly gaining on the party. Surprise and then anger crossed Duncan's face.
“Trog you idiot!” He shouted, drawing the party's attention.
“Ah shi…” was all Alexei or any or them could say or think as the light fell over them
That's the gang, one smart ass assassin, one leader like warrior, the hot archer chick, the smarty human, and a stupid ogre. One hell of a weird group to be traveling together but that's what makes them fun. Please review the idea those far.
