Welcome to my first ever songfic!!!!!!!!! All flames accepted. I dedicated this songfic to any girl out there who was close to her father but something happened. Please enjoy!

 

Chapter 1 Aiko's story

 

A little girl with blood-red hair and emerald green eyes giggled as her father pushed her on the swings. It seemed to be the only place where they could just get away and be happy without Gaara and Sakura fighting all the time. For this eight-year-old, parents fighting was a scary experience since as far as she could remember they used to be very much in love. Her daddy's little girl necklace shone brightly in the sun.

 

He drops his suitcase by the door

She knows her daddy won't be back anymore

She drags her feet across the floor

Tryin' to hold back time to keep him hangin' on

 

Young Aiko hid under the kitchen table as her parents began to fight again. Tears streamed down her face when she saw Gaara's suitcase next to the door.

“HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!” Sakura yelled at Gaara

“SAKURA! YOU'RE GOING CRAZY!” Gaara shouted back

“I CANNOT BELIEVE I WASTED 15 YEARS OF MY LIFE WITH YOU!” Sakura continued

“ YOU STOPPED PICKING UP YOUR OLD TEACHER'S HABITS LIKE THE STUPID GAMBLING AND DRINKING WE WOULD'NT BE IN THIS MESS!” yelled Gaara.

“ SO YOUR SAYING THIS IS ALL MY FAULT!” yelled Sakura>
” I'M THRUOGH WITH THIS!”

 

And she said

“ Daddy, Daddy don't leave,

I'll do anything to keep you

Right here with me

Can't you see how much I need you

Daddy, Daddy don't leave

Mommy's saying things she don't mean

She don't know what she talking asbout

Somebody hear me out

 

“I HATE YOU!” said Sakura, “ I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!”

“ WELL TOO BAD CAUSE IT'S HAPPENING!” screamed Gaara

Aiko crawled across the kitchen floor. Tears kept pouring down harder and harder as the fight continued. She ignored the pieces of a broken sake bottle that dug into her skin.

“ Daddy Mommy please stop. You love each other. That's why I'm here now. Please stop yelling out the lies, “ she cried out. Unfortunately nobody was able to hear her.

She clasped her hands together in prayer and cried out these words:

 

Father listen

Tell him th t he's got a home and he don't have to go

Father save him

I will do anything in return

I'll clean my room

Try hard at school

I'll be good

I promise you

Father, Father

I pray to you

 

Gaara turned around and saw the crying child. He picked up his suitcase and kissed Aiko's forehead. Tears continued to fall as she clutched her Daddy's Little Girl' necklace and watched her father disappear from her life. Forever.
