Chapter 3 Kimiko's story

 

This is my third chapter this time it's the daughter of Neji and Tenten. Enjoy

 

 

15-year-old Kimiko Hyuuga stared out the window, fingering her Daddy's Little Girl necklace, watching her parents wait for the taxi to take her father to the airport to send him overseas.

 

Please don't let him go

I'm begging you so

Let him open his eyes

Need a little more time

To tell him that I love him more

Then anything in the world

 

Kimiko ran out the house and right up to her father. She threw her arms around Neji's neck as he wrapped his arms around her.

 

It's Daddy's Little Girl

 

“Please Daddy,” pleaded Kimiko, “Don't go. I need you.”

“I know Kimiko, but I have to do this,” Neji told her, “Don't worry. I'll be home soon.”

He looked over her shoulder at a worried Tenten. At that moment, the taxi pulled up. As Neji put his luggage in the trunk, tears ran down her cheeks as Kimiko prayed.

 

Father, Listen

Tell him that he's got a home and he don't have to go

Father, Save him

I will do anything in return

I'll clean my room

Try hard at school

I'll be good

I promise you

Father

Neji turned to his daughter and kissed her on the forehead. She stepped back and saluted him. Neji smiled and did the same thing. He got into the taxi and Kimiko watched until it turned around the corner. From then on until she left for college, she sat on the porch steps waiting for Neji to come back. Only he never came back.
