Chapter 5- The Team
‘Hmmm… very interesting. It seems she was able to survive. Maybe she will be strong yet.’ Naruto thought as he watched Hinata as she was forcing back minor demons Naruto sent to test her. In hell, time didn’t exist. Time is a human creation and unlike the earth, hell is not ruled by humans so time doesn’t exist. Even if it did it wouldn’t apply. Therefore one second was equivalent to eternity. Naruto toyed with the idea of whether or not to keep her here. She was rather enjoying to watch as she struggled to survive. It had been what could be considered three days. To Hinata it seemed like eternity. ‘Oh well, guess my fun couldn’t last forever.’ Naruto thought as he jumped down to where Hinata was and before she knew what happened, knocked her out. He started to speak in a language which drove fear into everything around him even the demons. He grabbed Hinata and closing his eyes, he left hell carrying Hinata’s unconscious body over his shoulder.
With Hinata:
Hinata slowly opened her eyes. She looked around and saw that she was in the forest. The sun was just rising. She shook her head remembering where she had been. She looked at her clothed and were surprised to find they were new. She knew what had happened and remembered every detail seeing as that couldn’t have been a dream. She stood up and started hobbling through the tress and came upon a small clearing where a dead dear was sprawled on the grass missing one of it’s front limbs. Crouching a few feet behind it was Naruto ripping the flesh of the missing leg and consuming it. When Hinata limped into the clearing Naruto raised and turned his head in an alert position until he saw who it was. Naruto smirked to himself.
‘She seems pretty fucked up.’ Naruto thought. Without warning he ripped of another of the dead deer’s limb and flung it over to where she stood.
“Eat it.” Naruto simply commanded and she obeyed.
‘That trip seems to have made her completely obedient. Now it will be easier to turn her into a warrior.’
When Hinata finished, Naruto stood and walked away.
“Follow Me,” he commanded and without hesitation she obeyed
After a while they ended up in front of the academy.
‘No I remember, the teams are being assigned today’ Hinata thought.
“Hokage-sama, I demand that you send out a search party for my daughter!”
“There is no need Hiashi,” Sarutobi stated before resuming smoking his pipe
“And why is that?” Hiashi asked
“Because,” Sarutobi said, “She’s at the academy right now” Hiashi seemed to be a little more relieved but was still just as pissed
“Alright we will now be announcing the genin teams.
Inuzuka Kiba, Haruno Sakura, Uchiha Sauske, your instructor will be Hatake Kakshi.
Nara Shikamaru, Yamanaka Ino, Akimichi Choji, your instructor will be Sarutobi Asuma. Aburame Shino, Hyuuga Hinata, Uzumaki Naruto, your instructor will be Yuuhi Kurenai. You are dismissed.
“So you’re my team huh” came a voice from behind. A red eyed woman stepped up to them “Follow me” she said and walked off
When they got to the training grounds they sat down.
“Ok, It’s time to introduce yourselves. I’ll go first. My name is Kurenai and that’s all I want to tell you. You next” she pointed to Shino
“My name is Aburame Shino. I spend my days training and raising my bugs.” Kurenai nodded. “Ok you next” she pointed to Hinata.
“My name is Hyuuga Hinata. I enjoy training and being near my future mate.” At this she glanced over to Naruto who didn’t respond.
‘What the fuck is going on here?’ thought Kurenai and decided not to press the issue.
“You next blondie.”
“My name is Uzumaki Naruto. I like slaughtering mortals and tormenting their wretched souls for all of eternity”
