It’s now Three months after Sasuke and Naruto get together, it’s Summer now. Nothing has happened, besides some serious make-out sessions.

Ok, I know, I know , you said you don’t want any author’s notes in the story, but I’m still going to warn when there’s any blood trading, for those that are more squeamish. However, I worked around actually putting in any notes, instead, if you see this, ^^^ then it means a trade of blood is going to happen, or one vampire will feed off of some one, or something gruesome….

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Naruto tossed and turned in his bed. Teeth, pain, blood, and darkness. He couldn’t see anything, but he could smell. Earth, it smelled earthy. There were flowers too, lilacs? Lillies? Well, there were flowers, but he couldn’t tell what kind.

He heard a scream, it tore open the night. Night? Oh yeah, it was crisp air, meaning the night. What was happening? What was going on? He couldn’t tell. No, he could just feel pain, and hear a thump as his right side flared with pain.

Next it was laughter, cruel, loud laughter. Naruto didn’t recognize the voice, he’d never herd it before. Who was that? Then foot steps, they were fading away. His body ached all over, though he knew he hadn’t taken any blows.

As suddenly as the dream started, it stopped. Naruto sat up, gasping for air, a cold sweat all over his body. ‘Shower first, then I’ll write everything down.’

He stood up and stretched slightly aching muscles. Sasuke had forced him to enroll in a martial arts academy. They taught tons of different types of martial arts, mostly based on your body type. Since Naruto had a large frame, they paired him up with the more physical martial arts. Sasuke had the speed and stealth training. While every student was taught each skill, they normally focused on their good points.

Naruto had recently taken to sparing with Sasuke, and boy, could he fight. They both went home with slight injuries, though Sasuke was a fast healer, so he never stayed bruised for long. Naruto healed rather quickly as well, but Sasuke healed much faster than him.

So, it was quite the relief for his aching muscles when he stood under the spray of water. Sure, he’d exercise every so often, but him and Sasuke would fight for hours, causing him to be really sore the next morning.

He quickly scrubbed his head and body, loving the smell of oranges that filled the room. He watched as the hot steam from the near-scolding water raised up and clouded the mirror. Naruto turned off the spray after letting the sharp needles hit his sore muscles.

Next, he moved to the sink and brushed his teeth, making sure to remove all the plaque. Most might think that he was a slob, but he took very good care of his body. Clearing off the mirror, he made sure that his teeth were free of any plaque, rinsed his mouth out, and left the room, wearing only a towel around his waist.

The blond quickly moved into his room and pulled out a black t-shirt and orange cargo pants. He’d been forbidden to wear the orange jacket that normally went with this outfit by Sakura, it didn’t matter anyway since it was too hot to wear it in the summer time. Besides, Sakura had threatened something he’d like to keep.

His next course of action was to jot down his dream, forgetting his rumbling stomach. So, pulling out a rather thick book, which was already mostly filled up, Naruto wrote down his dream, word for word. This was where he kept all the dreams that he had that were like that. The only two that were missing were the ones that were from when he found Itachi and the one where his parents died. He’d even managed to get to the book after Sasuke and him and gotten together and write the one that he’d had at Iruka and Kakashi’s house.

Remembering his empty stomach, he quickly finished up hi dream and moved to the kitchen. Despite popular belief, Uzumaki Naruto did no eat only Ramen. Sure, he ate a lot of it, most of his diet revolved around said noodles, but he did eat a ‘proper’ breakfast, and when he was at school or some where other than home, he ate other things for lunch and dinner. One time he’d tried to bring the Ramen to school, but the noodles had gotten cold and soggy, not at all good.

So, he pulled out four eggs, a bowel, the milk carton, a slice of smoked ham, a block of cheese, a fresh onion, some garlic, a few tomatoes, hot peppers, the salt, and the black pepper. Setting up a frying pan, he put a chunk of butter into it and while it heated up, he worked on the eggs.

Cracking all four eggs into the bowel, he poured in some milk and started to whisk it. While the eggs sat there he chopped up the onions, peppers, and the tomatoes in a haphazard way. Setting those aside, he lowered the temperature on the stove top and poured the egg mixture into the pan, sprinkling the salt and ground black pepper on top of it.

While the eggs started to cook, he chopped up the cheese, all the while thinking to himself. His hands started to move by themselves as he thought about what he was going to do that day, whistling an out of tune song under his breath.

‘Maybe I’ll go visit Sakura, or invite Sasuke over to watch a movie with me?’ He sprinkled the vegetables and the cheese over the tops of the eggs and flipped over one side, creating a half-circle. ‘Nah, I’ve not seen Iruka or Kakashi for a while, maybe I’ll talk to them instead? Then there’s that stupid report about what I did over the summer. I’ll have to fill in what I do today as well…’

Naruto pulled the eggs off the pan and popped a few pieces of toast into the four-slotted toaster. He pulled out a stick of butter, a knife, and a fork. While the toast finished cooking, he sliced up the stick of butter with the knife. Naruto stopped whistling when the toast popped up.

Quickly buttering said toast, he turned off the gas burner, having forgotten to do so when he pulled the eggs out of the pan, and sat down on the table. A nicely decorated plate in front of him. However, before he could start to eat, a giggling voice came from the window.

“You know, it should be illegal for you to whistle.” Said voice sounded a lot like Sakura. When Naruto turned in his seat, he saw not only Sakura, but Ino as well.

“You know, Naruto. It’s a shame when two girls can stand here and watch you cook and you not notice.” This was Ino talking. Naruto noticed that they were dressed to go somewhere.

“Can’t a guy eat his breakfast in peace? I’ll talk to you in, five minutes, promise.” Naruto was slightly annoyed that he was interrupted, though he was happy that he didn’t have to decide on what to do. If the girls were here, then he didn’t need to think about anything.

“What poor manners! Haku and Zabuza are here as well, they’re just not in the mood to come talk to you.” Ino giggled again, and Naruto knew exactly what she meant.

They’d found out not too long ago that Haku and Zabuza had a thing for each other. The two had recently started to go out.

Zabuza had wanted to wait a year to start to go to college, his parents were letting him live with them as long as he bought his own food, paid a rather small rent, and worked. He is saving up to pay for most of his college years. Currently, he’s got two full-time jobs and a part-time jobs, all three of which pay an ok amount. However, he was not getting a lot of sleep, or time to himself. So, the two days that he had off, Sunday and Monday, he usually caught up on sleep or was out with friends.

“Tell them to stop it in front of my house! I don’t need people staring over here! They’ll start to think that this land breeds homosexuals!” He said in a rather annoyed voice as he cut off a chunk of his rather large omelet and put it in his mouth. Tomato juice spilled out of the eggs, making them look like they were bleeding.

Sakura and Ino both laughed at this. The pink-haired female turned around and shouted to the two boys who were shamelessly kissing in plain sight of every one on the street. “Oi! The blond-idiot inside says to knock it off!” The two parted rather quickly, Haku looking sheepish and Zabuza looking annoyed.

“Tell the idiot to mind his own business!” Zabuza yelled back as he tried to pull Haku closer to him. Said boy refused, stating that Naruto had every right to tell them what to do as it was his land. Zabuza crossed his arms, slightly annoyed.

Naruto glared at Sakura. “Oi, you didn’t have to shout. Also, I’m /not/ an idiot! You may think I am, but I’m not!”

Sakura just sighed. “Fine, as you’re being grouchy, I’ll just take Ino, Haku, and Zabuza and wait out in the car while you finish breakfast. Don’t take to long.” She then pulled a protesting Ino, along with Zabuza, to the car. Haku followed, having long-since learned not to get Sakura mad. The girl had inhuman strength, or so it seemed.

Naruto shrugged and ate his quickly cooling breakfast, taking huge forkfuls of food at once. When done, he stood and brought his plate over to the sink, he started to whistle again and washed off the plate. After that was done, he put it in the drainer by the sink to dry off.

The blond rushed to the bathroom and ran a brush through his now-dry hair. The locks still stuck up every-which-way, though they were longer now. He mentally made a note to get his hair trimmed.

Naruto grabbed a pair of blue sandals and pulled them on. Next on the list was his froggy wallet, that he so loved. When that was obtained and thrown into his back pocket, Naruto ran out the door.

“Sorry for taking so long!” He quickly climbed into the front passenger seat, Sakura was driving. It’s one of those vans with three rows of seats, two bucket seats up front and in the middle, then there’s that bench seat in the back. Ino had chosen a middle bucket seat, and Zabuza was currently making out with Haku in the back, some wondered why the two were all over each other constantly.

Sakura tossed Naruto her cell phone with out looking down from the road. “Call up Sasuke, I’m already picking up Lee and Chouji. I’m sure that another person won’t hurt.”

Naruto dialed the number. When the phone rang with out some one answering for the eleventh time, Naruto grew frustrated. ‘Why isn’t any one answering?!’ He shut the phone violently, effectively stopping the call. “He’s not picking up.”

Sakura sighed. “He probably wants to be left alone. As my number came up, I doubt he wants to talk to me. Lets just leave him to brood, we don’t need any one ruining today! We’re going to The Strip!”

The Strip, a common place for teens to hang out. It consists of a few food courts, all out doors, quite the amount of shopping places, and a dance club that’s open 24/7. Not to mention that the middle of said place was a nice park with a huge fountain in the middle.

Naruto grinned and shoved his fist into the air as high as the van would allow. “All right! We’re going to have a load of fun!” This was shouted rather loudly as the hyper-active blond grinned broadly.

Ino glared heatedly at Sakura’s head as she broke up Zabuza and Haku. She most certainly did not want a hyper-active blond all riled up like this. He was bad enough with out the extra energy boost!

“Yeah, Naruto. Don’t go getting into trouble while we’re out there!” Ino stated from her seat in the middle of the van. “We don’t want to be banned from The Strip as well.”

Naruto turned in his seat and gave Ino a sheepish grin. “That was a one time thing only. I swear, that dude was threatening me! I acted accordingly.” Ino just turned her head to look out the window, leaving a rather distraught Naruto.

Zabuza sighed and leaned back into the seat. “You three should really pipe down. Turn on the radio or something.”

Sakura sighed and did as the 18-year-old suggested. However, there was no music, instead a reporter came on.

“-Bodies found dead. The scene of the crime is 4408 Winchester Road. So far there are two people missing. Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Sasuke. Either one could be the criminal that committed this crime. If either one of the Uchiha heirs is found, contact the police immediately. They are both suspects of this murder and will need to be taken in for questioning.”

There was silence in the van. Finally, Naruto spoke up. “Sakura, get in back. I’m driving.” With out saying a thing, the pink-haired girl hoped into the back of the van and Naruto crossed the space between the seats quickly enough to prevent them from crashing.

Instead of heading out to The Strip as previously planned, Naruto took them off to a side road. No one said a thing until Ino finally spoke up. “Do you think it was Sasuke.”

“No, Sasuke would never kill them. He loved them too much.” Naruto silently hoped that what he’d just said was the truth. He couldn’t bare it if Sasuke were the one to kill them.

Naruto, glad with her agreement, started back up on the road again. “You’re taking us to his house, aren’t you?” Sakura asked, getting a nod from the boy.

The scenery passed by, turning to the more extravagant design of the richer part of town. However, instead of slowing down so that they could see where the house was easier, Naruto pushed down on the gas further, causing the car to speed up.

“Naruto!” Sakura lunged over to the blond and pulled the steering wheel in time so that they wouldn’t hit the car in front of them that was pulling out into an intersection. “Slow down!”

Naruto paid her no heed and continued to speed up. Haku decided to speak up from the back. “Naruto, you need to slow down. You can’t take your hurt, frustration, and anger out on the gas pedal. You’ll get us killed too, then will you ever find out who killed the Uchihas? Or if Sasuke is ok?”

Naruto let up on the gas pedal slightly. “Oi! Squirt! Slow down, you’ll get us all killed.” Zabuza spoke up from beside Haku, slightly annoyed with the way that Naruto was acting. “Are you really so weak willed that you’ll let your emotions take over?”

Naruto hit the brakes in time to prevent their near-crash with the rather expensive looking Lancer in front of them. He turned in his seat. “How can you say any thing?! Do you have any idea what I’m going through at the moment?! Sasuke could be dead and lying in a ditch some where, and I can’t help him!” Tears were threatening to spill over and he rubbed at his eyes furiously.

Sakura felt anger rising in her at these statements. She slapped Naruto across the face. “How dare you? How dare you say that we don’t care about Sasuke!” Naruto turned his face back to look at her, rubbing the now red cheek.

“Sakura, please calm down. Don’t hit Naruto, it’s not his fault he’s emotionally distraught.” Ino tried to calm the pink-haired girl down.

“No, Ino. I’ll not calm down! Naruto needs to realize that he’s not the only one that likes Sasuke! Or have you forgotten your long-time crush on the boy so easily? I don’t think that Sasuke is dead, if he was, they’d have found him already. Naruto, Sasuke is tougher than you think. He holds back during sparing, he doesn’t fight with his all!” Sakura turned pleading eyes to the ‘slowly-calming-down-blond’ and sighed.

“Trust me, Sasuke is neither dead nor kidnapped. If anything, he’s out there trying to track down the killer. I’m sure he’ll turn up soon. Just, don’t say that none of us care about Sasuke, that’d be a lie and a disfavor to Sasuke.” She pushed a stray lock of hair out of her eyes and reached over to the dial. “Lets just listen to the rest of the news, they might have found something out.”

Naruto nodded and the news started through the van at the flick of Sakura’s wrist. This time it was a man that was reporting what had happened. “There were four bodies found this morning. Two female, the wives of the owners of Uchiha Enterprises, the very famous software company owned by the Uchiha family. The remaining two are male, the owners of the company themselves.

“What has the police baffled is the choice of weapon. The murderer seems to have sent a wooden stake through the four’s hearts. We haven’t figured out why the murderer used such a weapon. It’s rumored that said murderer was a psychotic that believe that vampires actually existed, and that the Uchihas were such vampires.” Sakura froze and paled slightly, it went unnoticed by the rest of the van, all except Naruto, who was looking in the rear-view mirror at the time.

“Sakura, are you alright?” He asked, and got a nod in return as the still-numb girl managed to produce some sort of movement.

“It’s also rumored that the killer is one of the two sons, Uchiha Sasuke and Uchiha Itachi. If either one of the Uchiha heirs is spotted, the person that saw them should contact authorities immediately. If the heir that has been spotted is not the killer, he may know who the killer is.” The man continued on, saying all the gruesome details about the scene. Naruto turned off the radio again as he pulled up in front of the locked gates of the Uchiha manor.

There were several T.V. stations already here, not to mention police tape. Naruto jumped out of the car, his hand reaching for his wallet. Inside is a key to the gates and a card to get into the house. Sasuke had the two made after a month, stating that it’d be easier for them both if Naruto could come and go as he pleased, especially on the weekends.

Managing to get past the police that were holding every one back, Naruto unlocked the gate and threw it open. He continued on to the house, pushing away the cops that were trying to stop him. Before he could get very far, he bumped into some one.

When Naruto looked up from his spot on the ground, he saw Hyuuga Neji. “Neji! Please, tell me that it’s not true!” Naruto then stood and grabbed the Hyuuga’s wrist, giving him a pleading look.

The cops sent a questioning glance to the Hyuuga and Neji raised his hand to wave them away. “I’m sorry, Naruto, but the radio most likely is speaking the truth. The Uchiha’s are all murdered. All except Sasuke and Itachi.”

Naruto knew he was a man/boy, and he knew he shouldn’t cry, but tears pricked his eyes as his heart clenched tightly. “Do you think that Sasuke killed them?” ‘Tell me no, please! Tell me /no/!’ Were the words that popped into his head.

Neji shook his head. “I highly doubt that Sasuke would slaughter the entire family. He loved them, almost as much as he loved you. I’m sure that whoever killed them is holding him and Itachi-san prisoner. However, I’m sure the two will show up soon.”

Naruto nodded his head as the blinked away the tears that threatened to spill over. “Can I see how bad it is?” He asked, and Neji nodded in response, he steered Naruto to the house, one arm around his shoulders.

“I’m not sure you’ll like it, though.” The Hyuuga led Naruto to the open door. It seemed as if the police had broken it, and there was police tap baring the way. Neji helped Naruto over the tap and led him to the first floor living room.

There, on the couch, were four people. They didn’t resemble the four Uchiha’s Naruto knew. Sasuke’s father now had gray hair, and he looked older than he should. His mother looked just slightly younger than her husband. Both had wrinkles.

Naruto didn’t personally know Sasuke’s grandparents, but the two beside the father and mother of his love didn’t look like the pictures around the place. They had more wrinkles, and looked to be maybe 90-years-old. They both looked way too old to be the Uchiha’s grandparents.

^^^

What was worse was the way they were killed. Not only was there a stake through each person’s heart, but the two oldest had their stomachs ripped open. They didn’t have legs, and it looked like there were rope burns on their wrists. They were tortured before they were killed.

The two younger bodies, for they were no longer people but just bodies, had small cuts all over them, and it looked like they were bled out slowly. Naruto could smell the blood in the air, and he grabbed his stomach.

^^^

“Neji, who, who could have done something like this?!” He gasped out while trying to keep his spicy breakfast down. Neji quickly brought Naruto to his chest and rubbed his back, the way a friend would for their distraught friend.

Naruto’s breath hitched and finally the tears that wouldn’t come before came in waves. He didn’t make a sound, just silently cried while Neji helped him get out of the house. Once the fresh air hit him, Naruto fell to his knees.

Neji rubbed his back as the teen’s omelet came back up and he emptied the contents of his stomach onto the grass by the door. Neji rubbed his back in small circles, trying to get him to calm down some what.

“Neji, those four, they didn’t look like Sasuke’s parents. I mean, they did, but they looked older.” Naruto wiped his mouth on the back of his hand. “What’s going on? I know I’m missing something, but I don’t know.”

Neji knew he couldn’t tell Naruto the truth, it wouldn’t be right for him to do it. It wasn’t his place, and he’d make sure that any one who knew about them would know that as well. “I didn’t notice anything.” The lie rolled off his tongue with practice.

Naruto’s anger flared up again at that statement. “To hell you don’t! You two live in the same area! You should know!” He stood up on shaky legs and glared at Neji, who didn’t let it phase him one bit.

He looked questioningly at Naruto. “Do you know your neighbor’s every secret? Well?” Neji tried to keep his voice calm, but receive a punch to his right cheek.

Naruto stood there, fists clenched. “God damn it, Neji! Don’t test my patience. I just found out that my boy friend could possibly be dead, or worse, that he could have killed them! What the hell do you think I’m going to do now, huh? Listen to the lies you like to spout off?! I’m not a child, I can take the truth!”

Neji gave him a some-what cold glance. “Naruto, you need to rein in your emotions. You don’t need to punch me.” What he knew would freak out Naruto was that he was still talking, that blow should have broken his cheek bone and some of his upper jaw.

Only, the blond was too angry to listen, and he just lunged at Neji, trying to hit the vampire, again. Neji easily flipped him over hi shoulder, grabbed Naruto’s right arm, and sat on the blonde’s back while twisting the arm to a painful position. “Don’t do this, Naruto. Calm down already!” He hissed out.

Naruto gritted his teeth and jearked to the right, successfully dislocating his arm. He clenched his teeth and bit his bottom lip to keep quiet and to force the pain away. This caught Neji off guard and Naruto successfully kicked him off his back. He turned over and took off running, being stopped by two cops, who caught either arm.

The blond opened his mouth in a silent scream as his dislocated arm was jerked around. Neji walked over to him and the two cops. “Naruto, I told you to calm down. I’m sure that Sasuke will turn up soon.” Neji could understand the blonde’s feelings, and pitied him and Sasuke.

The cop with Naruto’s injured arm turned to Neji. “Do you want to press charges?” Neji shook his head and pushed a stray lock of hair out of his face.

“He’s just really up set. His boyfriend, and I’m sure almost-lover, is one of the two sons of the Uchiha family. Just take him to the hospital, I’ll pay for his room. Have them re-locate his right arm and give him some tranquilizers. He needs to calm down. Make sure they feed him good there.” Neji turned on his heel and Naruto was escorted from the grounds, kicking and screaming, trying to get away, though never succeeding.

The cops called up an ambulence, knowing that they couldn’t escort the blond to the hospital themselves. Naruto was wrapped up in a blanket, rather tightly, and sat down on the ground by one of the police cruisers.

Sakura was the first one to meet the distraught blond. She put a caring hand on his shoulder and shook it slightly. “Hey, Naruto. How are you feeling?” Her voice was soft, and Naruto looked up, his eyes red from crying, and slightly empty looking.

“I’m fine, Sakura. I just dislocated my arm. They’re calling up an ambulance. I’m sorry, I freaked out. I shouldn’t have acted like that. Now I’m going to be on T.V., the psychopathic blond that tried to kill one of the Hyuuga heirs.” He let out a low, dark laugh.

Ino, Haku, and Zabuza showed up next. Ino was near tears, Haku was keeping on a stoic face, and Zabuza looked rather angry.

“How could they do that?!” Ino all but wailed out, she too was hit rather hard by the scene.

Naruto shook his head. “I don’t know. Neji isn’t telling me anything, and I doubt that any other family member will know what happened.”

Sakura looked slightly bright at that. “I know some one who might know something. I’ll go get her.” She then took off to the Hyuuga compound.

Neji caught up with her slightly. “Sakura, who are you looking for?” Sakura looked at him, breathing slightly hard. “Hinata-san. Naruto wants to talk to her.”

Neji nodded and turned the Hyuuga mansion, leading Sakura there as well. “I’ll get her, don’t worry. I’m assuming that Naruto calmed down some-what?”

Sakura looked rather sad at that question. “Neji, it doesn’t look like he’s all there. I mean, he looks so, sad. It hurts, I can’t do anything to help my two best friends.” She chewed on her bottom lip, knowing that this was probably going to kill her inside.

“Don’t worry, I’m sure Hinata-sama can help him out some.” Neji pushed some buttons on a key pad and the door opened. Since he was being raised by the head family, he was no longer considered a branch family member, and was given the code.

“Hinata-sama, you’ve got some one to come see you!” Neji called out to the house. A rather darkly-dressed Hinata came down the stairs, only to see a distraught Sakura and a calm Neji.

“I’ll go get some tea, it’ll help calm you down.” She started towards to kitchen, only to feel a hand clasp around her arm. “Please, lets go take care of Naruto first!”

Hinata looked at Sakura, eyes slightly wide. “N-Naruto’s here?!” She blushed some, still not over the taken blond idiot.

“Yes, and he’s not doing too good. They called an ambulance over, it’ll be here soon, but he doesn’t need physical attention. Ok, so his arm’s dislocated, but he’s hurting more inside than outside. You’ve got to come and help us.” Sakura gave the Hyuuga heiress pleading eyes, and the girl nodded.

Sakura all but dragged Hinata over to Naruto, the two of them sprinting to the spot. “Naruto-kun! Are you alright?”

Hinata crouched down next to the teen, and gasped slightly when he looked up. She’d never seen the bundle of sunshine so pained before. He had red around his eyes, clear signs of him crying, and his face was pale. She could see the color difference, though she was sure the other humans couldn’t.

The paleness was a sure sign that he either hadn’t eaten, or thrown up. She was willing to bet it was the latter. His right arm, you could see the outline through the blanket, was slightly lower than his left, meaning that there was nothing supporting it. Naruto’s eyes were slightly blank, and you could tell that he felt lost at the moment.

Hinata pulled the boy into a gentle hug, rubbing his injured shoulder lightly, and silently used her powers as a vampire to calm the teen down into sleeping. Her other hand held his head to her shoulder, she was on his left side so it wouldn’t hurt his shoulder. “Shh, Naruto, the ambulance will be here soon. The sooner you’re better, the sooner you can go out and look for Sasuke-kun.”

Naruto struggled, and Hinata was slightly surprised when her suggestions to sleep weren’t taking hold. He pushed away from the girl as best he could with out arms. “Hinata, you don’t know that he’s even alive.” His voice was miserable, and despite his defeated state, Hinata knew that he’d fight to get away if the blanket was loosened at all.

Finally, so the Hyuuga heiress thought, they could hear the sirens of an ambulance. Hinata turned to the van, and made her decision. “Sakura-san, I’ll take the ambulance, you start the search for Sasuke. Bring Haku and Zabuza, find him before the police do.”

Sakura nodded and took off, noting the mental message that Neji was currently sending her. ‘Don’t tell him, what ever you do. It’s Sasuke’s place to tell him.’ Though she couldn’t answer him back, she could tell he was waiting for an answer, so she decided to let her thoughts flow to him easily by keeping the link more open. ‘I know, I just hope he tells him soon…’ She was biting her bottom lip as she thought this.

Neji nodded to himself and continued to direct traffic, his uncle had put him in charge of the investigation, Hinata wanted no part of it and Hiashi was too busy to do it himself. There was a load of paper work, and more than a few letters from the other family, the Shinjiri’s, stating that they were extremely sorry for this loss, and to pass on their message to Sasuke or Itachi, which ever one didn’t do this.

When the ambulance pulled up, Naruto was boarded up onto the stretcher. A tranquilizer was injected into his arm as he went, relaxing his muscles. Hinata quickly explained that she was a concerned friend and that if she could she’d like to go with him. The people nodded and told her to go sit up in the passenger seat. Hinata did as told.

As soon as the blanket was removed, Naruto started to struggle. However, his movements were slow and weak, due to the tranquilizer. They gave him another dose, and it knocked him out. While he was out, they started an IV on him and assessed the damages.

Super sorry for the wait! I’ve got about 10 versions of this in my Works Word Processor, and I couldn’t figure out where to stop off at. Again, super sorry!

Ok, so you all know, school’s starting in a week, meaning that I might not get to type up a lot of this. I’m taking major classes, and a whole lot of them, so I’ll have a lot of homework, so it’s just a warning….

Love It Lots: Thanks for the review, and I’m glad that you’re happy! I’ll let you in on a secret, I’m not planning on dropping this story, ever.

Windgoddess-sama - I understand, don’t worry! I accept constructive criticism, and I try to fix what ever is bothering those that give it. Thanks for the review, and the compliment!

As stated above, I do accept, and would absolutely love, constructive criticism. I still need a beta to go through this story after I’m done and fix any mistakes that pop up. Also, one of my avid fans has decided that she -or maybe he…?- wants to co-write a story, but put it on my name. As such, there’ll be even less time for this story… Why am I co-writing a story with her -or him-? Well, they’re my fan, and I think it would be nice to co-write a story with some one.

Note: Even though I’m normally a beta-reader, I do make mistakes, so I /really/ need a beta-reader! So please leave your e-mail address in a review if you want to beta for me… Please???
