The Last One Standing

The river was stained with blood, the other three of Orochimaru's strongest lie at the edge dead. All that was left were Orochimaru and Sasuke. Orochimaru through himself at Hinata, but Gaara wouldn't let him anywhere close, sand blocked his path. Punches were being thrown, kicks were being…well kicked(how profound). But there was something funny about Orochimaru and Sasuke's attacks. They only went after Hinata and were completely ignoring Gaara.

Now there are two things that pissed Gaara off badly, being feared and being IGNORED!!! And Orochimaru seemed like he was doing his best to piss Gaara off. Gaara could tell Hinata was wearing, soon she would break. Her chakra couldn't take much more. It was either retreat or soon she would be just dead weight having Gaara to protect them both. Hinata was sweating now and Gaara was starting to have to protect her with his sand.

`Dam it' Gaara thought.

Then he noticed two things: Hinata was injured badly and Sasuke and Orochimaru had disappeared.

That's when Gaara heard the scream. He turned to find Tsunade standing there mouth open wide looking at Hinata then Gaara and back again.

“I thought you were a monster but this…this has gone too far!” She yelled.

“Tsunade you are a fool if you believe I did this to Hinata” Gaara said calmly as if he was talking about the weather.

“You are a MONSTER and a Liar!” she half yelled half screamed.

“And you, Hokage, are a fool and will believe whatever your eyes show you” He replied calm as ever.

“You disrespectful little…this is not over! Sunagakure has not heard the last of Konohagakure!”

“I'm sure we haven't but right now there are more important issues to attend to…like Hinata.” Gaara said ignoring the fact that she practically declared war on Sunagakure.

Tsunade just stood there glaring at Gaara. While stood there looking calmly into her eyes. Even though he seemed calm his eyes showed the ferocity of Shukaku burning inside of him practically tearing his way through.

Kill them Gaara…Kill them both…the annoying Hokage and the weak girl…I demand their blood! Shukaku whispered in his head.

Gaara grabbed his head to steady himself.

Kill…Kill…KILL!

Shut up!

Kill them Gaara! You know it's what we both want…

Shut the fuck up!

Just imagine the Hyuuga girl's eyes when she finds out you betrayed her…

Leave me alone!

Heh heh heh…when have I ever left you alone Gaara?

He couldn't take it anymore he let out a yell and swung his head violently back and forth. He fell to the ground panting. When he raised his head he was smiling the white of his eyes black with a gold center. He raised his hand toward Tsunade.

“Die!” Shouted Gaara/Shukaku

“You dare raise your hand toward the Hokage…you have sealed your fate! I'll tear that ugly scar right off your hideous face monster!” Tsunade shouted as she ran towards Gaara her fist held high.

They were about to hit each other when two things happened. Hinata grabbed Gaara around the waist, pulling him down, and wind blades crashed into Tsunade throwing her against a tree.

When Gaara looked up his eyes were normal aquamarine. He looked at Hinata, who was still around his waist, and held her closer.

“Don't leave me too Shukaku” he whispered sounding more like a child then the normally strong, emotionless Gaara.

Tsunade rose to find she was surrounded by Gaara, Temari and Kankuro. (Hinata didn't join in because Tsunade was he Hokage)

Tsunade seeing she was outnumbered jumped toward the village.

“That's it! This means war!”

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/Hinata's POV/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

I was unnerved. Wait let me rephrase that I was scare to death! My Hokage just declared war on my boyfriend or really crush since we weren't dating and I'm stuck in the middle of the whole feud!

I looked down at the ground. What was I to do? I owed my loyalty to my village but I love Gaara. Just great! That's when I noticed a scrap of paper on the ground. I picked it up and unfolded it to find it looked like some sort of plan.

enter Konoha

locate sand ninja

locate Leaf ninja

bring them to a secluded area

Fight them

âˆšhave Sasuke transform into Naruto and bring Tsunade to the scene of and injured Leaf ninja and the sand ninja

Start a war between them

Destroy the last one standingwhile it is weak

Orochimaru

That was why he was attacking Gaara. Orochimaru was trying to start a war!
