"old man it's been quite a while", naruto grinned his trademark grin
"yup it has been a long time", the man continued "I was surprised to see your name on the reservation list why'd you come here of
all places?", the man finished with a question
"well this is the best and fanciest place I know that won't kick me out and has ramen that can rival old man ichiraku's", naruto
laughed
"I'm quite flattered but I have gone through training under him", the man spoke in an admitting voice
"naruto would you please try not to ignore us?", this remark came from an extremely annoyed ino who was close to breaking point
"eh? gomen I forgot to intrduce my old pal jet", naruto pointed at the man
"I'm sorry the kid here doesn't really have the most astonishing social skills so I'll introduce myself my name is Jet, Jet Marcus",
the man bowed as he finished introducing himself.
(like in the last chapter I'll enumerate their different reactions)
all male jounin: 'this guy is definitely smooth with the ladies', nodding in unison
ino: 'I'm definitely in love', with hearts in her eyes
sakura: 'this guy could give sasuke a run for his fangirls'
hinata: 'he's a nice person'
neji: 'he seems to be a normal guy'
tenten: 'he's lot better than neji I think I'll chase this guy instead'
shino:.....
kiba: 'whatya think about this guy akamaru?'
shikamaru: 'another person to remember, how troublesome'
chouji: 'never thought anyone but sasuke could get that from ino-san' as he looked at ino
kurenai:.......
"why does naruto call you old man you look young and handsome enough to drive all the girls in konoha wild", sakura asked in
a questioning tone.
"oh it's because he calls me je-san which sounds a lot like jii-san(old man) hehe", jet answered
"anyway how did you meet?", a voice which jet regarded as 'beautiful beyond all reason' and he found a golden red haired angel
sitting on the end of the long rectangular table.
"naruto who is this lovely mademoiselle and I wonder if my eyes have grown poor from not being able to notice her.",jet asked
naruto.
"back-off she's with me", naruto spoke proudly and possessively as he pointed himself in the chest with his thumb.
"ah and here I thought you wouldn't keep your promise of me being the bestman for your wedding haha", jet laughed
"please don't ignore me here", shion pouted in false anger making her all cute
"I'm sorry miss but may I please know your name?", jet asked completely gentle-man like
"suzuki, shion", shion simply stated
"ah yes shion-san forgive me when I say I cannot tell that story due to its length", jet bowed in regret
"then take a seat and tell us all about it as we wait for our food", shion offered
"why thank you", jet sat down near naruto and continued "well it all began..."
-flashback-
"YOU COME BACK HERE!!!", a man shouted as he chased a boy down an alley
"no please leave me alone!", the boy shouted back with tears in his eyes as he ran. the boy had platinum colored hair which
was completely messy and unkept, he wore a discolored white shirt and worn-out pants.
"give me back the food you stole!", the man shouted ignoring the boy's pleas to be left alone.
"I'm sorry but I can't", the boy said and he ran faster. he could definitely hear the evergrowing fottsteps of his persuer
which indicated that he were coming closer. he came to a dead end but as he started to double-back he felt something grip his
shoulders.
"going somewhere kid?", the boy heard the voice and he was scared out of his wits and everything went blurry afterwards. the
kid woke up a couple of hours later in a hospital room.
"where am I?", the boy asked a blond kid sitting in the chair right next to his bed.
"in konoha hospital where else?", the blond boy answered the kid
"oh? what am I doing here?", the kid wondered
"I saw some guy beating you up and I defended you", the blond boy said proudly huffing his chest outward
"you got your ass whooped didn't ya?", the kid spoke
"is that anyway to treat your savior who carried your heavy butt up here and had to wait 2 hours before being allowed to put
you down on the stretcher? anyway there were reinforcements", the blond pouted
"anyway thanks", the kid said
"anytime", the blond gave a foxy grin. the kid returned the grin and heldout his hand.
"my name is jet, jet marcus", the kid now known as jet introduced himself
"the names naruto the future hokage", the blond little boy now known as naruto spoke as he accepted the handshake
-flashback-
"gomen I didn't know you have such a sad past", shion apologized
"iie there is nothing to apologize about we must all face and accept our past someday so it can be apart of our present and
future", jet explained
"I don't understand", shion shook her head
"don't worry I'm sure you will someday", jet smiled "I see your food has arrived so I'll take my leave now if you'll excuse me?",
as jet got up and walked off.
-after dinner-
"bye mina-san!!", shion and naruto waved goodbye to everybody and they started to walk home with shion hugging naruto's arm.
"you have some nice friends naruto-kun", shion said as she snuggled closer to naruto for warmth. it was getting cold but by next
month spring would make things a lot warmer.
"yeah they are great friends", naruto agreed
"but I don't like the dog guy though", shion said her voice low
"yeah he's a bit annoying sometimes but you'll get used to it", naruto laughed
"It's not him it's the dog-thing", shion admitted
"why? don't you like dogs?", naruto asked
"let's just say I have bad memories of them", shion's attitude seemed to darken at that point
"shion don't worry about dogs hurting you cause I'll be there to protect you", naruto comforted shion
"naruto-kun", shion suddenly stopped
"what is it?", naruto asked as he turned around but was surprised at what came next, shion hugged him as soon as he faced her
"thank you", shion whispered gently into naruto's ears and he blushed. shion released naruto and said, "let's go home then shall
we?"
