“Class,” said Iruka. “It's time for assignments.” So they were announced and Naruto was with Min and Kasumi. Just then their sensei had entered; he was tall, dressed in a jersey, jeans, boots, dog tags, ball cap, and a jounin vest and head band. He had a goatee and brown eyes. “Hey, I'm here for team 9.” He said, Naruto, Min and Kasumi stood up and headed to him. “Let's go,” he said.

 

They had a meeting, “well. Naruto, it's good to see you again.” He said, “you too Blaze-sensei,” said Naruto. “I heard what happened last night, you alright?” “Yeah, fine.” “I heard he told you about Kyubi. How'd you sleep?” “Kyubi just held me last night.” “You're still beating yourself up?” Min and Kasumi looked at him, “sigh yeah.” “WHAT?” They said, “WHY ARE YOU BEATING YOURSELF UP?” “It was my fault,” He said, “IT IS NOT!” “Girls calm down,” said Blaze. “Naruto, stop blaming yourself. Kyubi's your guardian haven't you been talking to her?” “Well, yeah but…” “Alright then, if you have any problems talk to us. Let us help you,” “sigh alright.”

 

Later Naruto unlocked the door to his diner and opened it he walked in and turned on everything to get ready for the day. `I can't believe the Hokage wanted me to run the diner as my D-rank mission.' `Me neither, but I guess after it had been around for a long time he wanted it back.' `So what do we do first?' `How's about some burgers?' `Maybe some smothered fries?' `Yeah, I wish I could get out of you and have something here.' `I got an idea; can you control one of my clones?' `Yeah, good idea Kit.' So Naruto went through the motions and it transformed in to a female. Kyubi took it over; she had long red hair and violet eyes. She was in a T-shirt with the word `Foxxxy' across the chest, jeans and sandals.

 

“What's yours lady?” He teased, she laughed. “Could you make me a Double `Kyubi' with cheese?” She said, “You want fries with that?” “Yeah and with chili,” “cool. It's coming.” He was on a grill slapping down burger patties and toasting buns. Then he made the chili and dropped some fries. He sliced some tomatoes, onions and lettuce just then someone came in to the diner.

 

“Welcome to `Kyu's Sin', table for one?” Said Kyubi, “Oh hey Hina-chan. Come up to the counter.” So the timid member of the Hyugga clan, sat down next to Kyuubi and Naruto came over to them with Kyubi's order. “May I help you Hina-chan?” He said she was looking a menu. “Uh, w-what's g-good?” she asked. “Well, the special's what Kyu-chan's eating on.” “That l-looks good.” “Alright, I'll whip it up. What do you want your fries smothered in?”

 

“Chili and cheese,” “alright back to work.” So he whipped up the order, meanwhile they were talking. “This is a nice place,” said Hinata. “Yes it is,” said Kyubi. “This was my parent's place. This was their D-rank missions.” He said, meanwhile the rest of Team 9 came in. “Hey Naruto!” Said Blaze, “hey Blaze-sensei!” “Naruto, can we help?” Said Min, “well. I sure could use it,” so they walked behind the counter and put on some aprons. “Fix yourselves something to eat, what do you want sensei?” “I'll take a burger and some of that chili.” He said, so Naruto whipped it up.

 

“Here you are,” just then more people started to come in and Naruto smiled. “Okay peeps, whoever's going to help me let's get to work!” So teams 8 and 10, helped team 9 out with the diner. Then someone threw a rock threw a window, Naruto jumped over the counter, checked on his customers and then ran outside he was looking around for the person that threw the rock. Just then he was surrounded by some people, “there he is. Kill the demon!” Said someone and started to throw rocks at him.

 

But he caught them all and they were in shock, “I'm going to find the one who put that hole in my window. Because when I do, its coming out your ass and you can tell the hokage and the council that I threatened you but of course I'll just say that you want to burn down the `Sin', because you don't think a loving son shouldn't run his parent's diner.” “A son yes, a demon? No!” “How many times are we going to go through this? KYUBI!” She walked out to help him face off against the villagers, “Kyubi, question. Did you try to destroy Konoha in anyway shape or form?”

 

“No, but my enemy tried.” She said, “Now let me see if I have this right. Your enemy, a 9 story tall demon, tried to destroy this village right?” “That is correct,” “so if anything the villagers shouldn't even be mad at us right?” “He's just confusing us! Kill them both!” Said a villager, just then the rest of the villagers and Rookie 9 came out to help out Naruto. When the villagers saw that they were out numbered they took off, “alright guys. Back to work, drinks on the house.” The customers cheered and everyone went back in to the diner. One of the customers told Naruto that he would give him a window for the diner.

 

“Thanks,” he said. “No problem, I love this place I don't want to see anything happen to the `Sin'.” After the diner closed, Naruto, his team, team 8 and 10 were sitting down and enjoying each others company. Choji was having a shake and some fries and everyone else were having some sodas. “So, how did you guys enjoy your first day?” He said, “It was fun.” Said Ino, meanwhile the hokage knocked on the door. Blaze got u p and opened the door.

 

“Hello Hokage-sama,” he said with a bow. “Hello Blaze,” said Sarutobi and came in to the diner. “Hey jii-san,” said Naruto. “What can I get ya?” He went into the kitchen and warmed up the grill. Sarutobi made his order and Naruto fixed it, “here you are.” He said, “thank you Naruto.” Said Sarutobi, “so what's on your mind?” He looked at the gennin, “you didn't just come for the food.” “Well, I did but, you are right. Naruto, we have a major problem that only you and your friends can solve.” “Guys, come here.” He said to the others.

 

So they went over to the two, so he started to tell them about Stone attacking one of their allies. “The Ice Kage has asked for you herself Naruto,” he said. “But we just got these head bands, how are we going to handle something of this magnitude?” “Your senseis shall go with you to keep your training up.” “Alright, sorry for being paranoid.” Kurenai looked at the blonde boy and nodded. “It's alright,” she said. “Yeah, we'll take care of you.” Said Asuma, “well guys. You in?” The others nodded and they agreed, “Alright get packed and meet back here in 2 hours.”

 

So they did, not knowing that this was going to be one of the most amazing missions they were going to be on.
