Later that night, Mizuki had stole the forbidden scroll, ‘with this I’ll destroy that damn brat and save the village while I’m at it!’ he thought. So he ran in to the forest but, he didn’t know he was being chased by Iruka. Who earlier, had gone to Naruto for help.
At Kazama manor, Naruto was in his room getting some sleep when there was a knock on the door. He got up in a pair of pajama pants and a tank top, he scratched his head and walked to the front door. “Iruka-sensei,” he said. “Do you know what time it is?”
“I’m sorry to wake you up, but we have a problem.”
“What’s up?”
“Mizuki stole the forbidden scroll.”
“Well, I hope you can stop him, good night.” He was about to go back to bed when Iruka said something that stopped him in his tracks.
“Your father wrote it.”
“What, wait a minute I was told that the Yondaime had written the forbidden scroll. If that’s the case then the Yondaime’s.”
“That’s right, you were supposed to receive the scroll tomorrow at the ceremony.”
“Give me 5 minutes.”
“How did he get my father’s scroll?” He asked.
“We don’t know,” said Iruka. They came up on Choji’s house, he knocked on the door and the teen man-mountain walked out the front door.
“Hey, so what’s the plan?” He asked, Naruto had called him and Shikamaru before they left. So he told Choji and they went to Shikamaru’s home.
“Ah, this is so troublesome.” Shikamaru said, “how are going to stop him?” Naruto just smirked.
“How else, our patent ‘Triple Threat Attack’.” Then they continued on their way.
Iruka was still chasing him down, “give the scroll back Mizuki!” He said, “I promise you’ll get a fair trail!”
“First you pass that demon, then he’s allowed to live in the Yondaime’s manor and then you are going to give him the forbidden scroll? I think not, I am going to be the hero of this village and destroy him one and for all!” He said, just then streaks of darkness hit a couple of trees in front of him knocking him back. “What the?” then felt the ground shake and voice screaming out and attack.
“HEAVEN’S FURY!”
“HEAD RUSH!” The two attacks hit Mizuki sending the scroll flying into the air and Shikamaru snatched it from mid air. Then sent a barrage of black beams around him, making the ground explode around the traitor. After he was defeated, Naruto, Choji, Shikamaru and Iruka got him ready to be delivered to Ibiki. That was when he spoke up.
“Don’t you know why the village hates you so much?” He said, Iruka look at him.
“Mizuki, if you finish that thought…” He started but Naruto stopped him.
“No, enlighten me.” Naruto said, “Is it because you always call me a ‘demon’?”
“Yes it is and when I tell them that a demon has the forbidden scroll, they are going to kill you!” He started to laugh manically.
“That sound’s like a good plan.” Said Shikamaru, “but what would the villagers do when they lose all of their most powerful ninjas?”
“What do you mean?”
“We were told the truth not to long ago.” Said Choji, “Kyubi’s not a demon and neither is Naruto.” Iruka looked at the boys in shock.
“Wait a minute,” he said. “Who told you and who else knows?”
“I did,” said Naruto. “The rest of the class knows, even though Sasuke and Sakura didn’t believe it.” Then he yawned, “Lets take this jerk to a hold cell and get some rest. Got a big day ahead of us tomorrow.” So they dropped off the louse and went to get some sleep.
The next morning, Choji, Shikamaru, Ino, Hinata, Shino, Kiba, Iruka, Min and Kasumi were sitting down or helping Naruto in the kitchen with breakfast. “So let me get this straight,” said Kiba. “Mizuki stole the forbidden scroll, thinking that he could use it and the idiot thought Kyubi-sensei was a demon?” he took a sip of his coffee. Choji nodded while eating some pancakes. “But you 4 stopped him and got the scroll back?”
“Yep,” said Shikamaru eating a piece of bacon.
“WHY DIDN’T YOU CALL US?”
“We didn’t have enough time and you know how hard it is to wake you from a dead sleep.” Said Naruto, “it’s like you hibernate or something.” Then Ino’s eyes glowed violet.
“Why didn’t you get me, you know I would’ve been there to help.” She said.
“I know Ino but, you’re like my best friend in the whole village. I couldn’t sacrifice you.” He said, “Plus when was the last time our powers worked together with out one of us snapping? We need more training.” She looked down, understanding.
“Still doesn’t mean I have to like it.” She mumbled as he set a plate of food in front of her.
“No one’s asking you to like it Ino-chan.” He said, “But if it means anything. I’m sorry.” She lifted her head up and glomped on to him.
“You are forgiven.” She said while hugging him. Then Hinata came up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder.
“Does that go for me also?”
“That goes for everyone, we have been there for each other through thick and thin. We’ll always be there for each other alright?” He said they nodded and ate.
They got to the school and waited on announcements of the teams. While waiting Naruto, Shikamaru, Shino and Kiba were playing poker. Naruto was around a grand ahead. “I’ll take a card,” he said.
“Gimme two.” Said Kiba.
“I fold,” said Shino.
“Troublesome,” said Shikamaru while placing his hand down.
“Well it just you and me Naru.”
“That’s right Kiba, show me what you got.” Kiba turned over a full house, Aces over Kings.
“Nice hand, Kiba. If I didn’t have a royal flush, you might have won.” He dropped his hand down and they saw a spade royal flush.
“Nice one,” said Kiba. Just then the teams were announced and they started to go.
