Nehru and her entourage are mine….unfortunately that’s about all I own…

Chapters will be short, the setting is partial AU, and the timeline is so warped that if you try and match it up with the canon you are going to cry…so don’t bother leaving me comments telling me these things.

Two figures made their way through the forests of Fire Country. “Nehru are you sure you we are going to find him here?” The one who spoke was a young man in his late teens. He had fiery red hair and emerald colored eyes. He was clothed in a red tunic and black baggy pants. His partner was clothed similarly, except the red was replaced with gray.

“Yes Kura.” Flicking strands of silver hair from her violet eyes in irritation, she continued to head towards where the chakra of her missing guardian was last felt. She came to a sudden and abrupt halt.

“What happened?”

“I don’t know but his chakra vanished…I’m going to head to where I felt it last. You are to hang back and see if we are being followed, we’ve been gone for almost a month and I don’t doubt Shimear has figured we left Moon’s territories.”

“Just be careful Nehru. From the last reports we had several countries have allied themselves against this one.” In a whirl of fire the young man transformed into a catlike creature and vanished into the surrounding woods.

Nehru stalked around the edges of Konoha. It frustrated her to no end, that when she finally got a lock on her missing guardian it simply vanished. Sighing she ducked into a hiding spot and watched as a group of people entered the clearing before her.

She watched them as they appeared to start some sort of training. One of the figures seemed to be reading some sort of book, while the remaining three were attempting to fight on water. The short blonde of the group was the first to fall into the water. When he came back up she heard him shouting at the black-haired boy while the girl was yelling at the blonde. Several hand gestures and she was able to listen in on what they were saying.

“…ruto, why can’t you be more like Sasuke? He is so cool.” Nehru nearly flinched at the pink-haired girl’s simpering.

“Sakura-chan, I’m much better than Sasuke. I’ll show you! Sasuke let’s fight!” Nehru looked over at the first figure noticing that he was pretty much absorbed in the book he was reading. She thought he would have at least stopped the fight between what she guessed were his students. The fight soon escalated between the two boys, and Nehru was getting kind of nervous as they were approaching her hiding spot.

Sasuke managed to kick Naruto into the tree she was in hard enough to cause Nehru to plummet from her perch, right on top of Naruto.

Kakashi watched in dismayed amusement as Naruto struck the tree. He would never understand what drove Naruto to want to be the spotlight, but he knew he would do almost anything for the recognition. He frowned as he noticed a distortion in the air shimmer above Naruto and an apparition fall to land on top of his student. The apparition flickered in and out a few times before revealing a young girl.

“Oww…” Kakashi, Sakura, and Sasuke stared at the sight. Naruto and the girl were just a tangle of limbs and bodies. Kakashi was trying to figure out how he couldn’t sense the girl earlier, while the other two were just dumbfounded. The two managed to untangle themselves and as the girl faced the group she would resemble a shadow if it wasn’t for her flushed face and silver colored hair. Her clothing consisted of mottled gray and black tunic, baggy black pants and soft leather boots.

“He, he, he, sorry ‘bout this I’ll be on my way now.” She whirled around and tried to leave but Kakashi blocked her from getting away. “I don’t want to fight, so if you will just let me be on my way,” she tried to make her way around him but he shifted to block her again.

“You are not going anywhere, except with me to see the Hokage. Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, training is over do whatever you want for the rest of the day.” The trio was surprised at how terse he sounded. Sakura forgot to tell Naruto how much better Sasuke was than him, Naruto forgot to yell and Sasuke even forgot to call Naruto a dobe.
