Nehru is mine, Naruto is not.

The conversation between Nehru and the Hokage quickly escalated into a yelling match. Tsunade calling Kyuubi a monster and trying to defend the fourth’s decision. While Nehru on the other side was calling the fourth an idiot for not realizing the consequences of his actions and defending the fox. With Tsunade’s anger growing by the second the chances of Nehru not being hung as a spy was becoming slimmer and slimmer.

“Kiri is no monster you, hag,” Nehru ground out, while Tsunade twitched at the hag comment. “There has to be a reason why he attacked your village. Let, me try and separate the two before anymore harm…”

Nehru was cut off when Tsunade slammed her fists on her desk, “Anymore harm? How do you think that releasing that creature is going to prevent harm? I…these villagers have lost too much to have you unleash him from the seal. That is final.” Tsunade glared hard at Nehru.

“Final, you say? You don’t even know what will happen if those two are left together in that body, do you? You cannot forcibly put two immortal spirits within a single body without one or both going insane. You thought whatever Kiri did was bad before you will not be able to imagine what he will do with the intention to torture those that locked him away. As soon as your little container dies a very pissed and probably deranged fox is going to have his way. Let me separate the two and take him home! How pig headed can you be? I know your country is under the threat of war, look I’ll even give you an incentive. You let me unseal Kiri and leave, Hidden Moon will supply shinobi and supplies.”

“An alliance? Only your Kage could promise that.” Tsunade gave her a disbelieving glare.

The smile that spread across Nehru’s face was not the reaction anyone had expected, “It isn’t exactly an alliance. It is a one time deal, one I can grant you. I know the Tsukikage will accept it.”

“For the duration of your stay I will have an Anbu watching you” Tsunade sat down with a plunk, “Come back here at the end of the week. I’ll give you my answer then.”

“Can I at least see the container?”

“No,” when Tsunade dismissed them this time they left.

As Naruto trudged to his home he thought he saw a shadow following him, but chalked it up to being a little dazed. It isn’t everyday that someone just falls on you or Kakashi getting upset over something.

Naruto made his way through the village he trying to ignore the glares the villagers seemed all too happy to give him. He sighed and lowered his head. Why did he bother again? If Naruto had not been lost in thought he would have spotted the shadow following him to his home.

Nehru flopped down onto her cot with a huff. Kakashi had led her to a small holding cell and told her an Anbu member would be watching her and not to try anything stupid. Mumbling into her pillow as she fell asleep, “Stupid idiot, getting caught…crap, I just know they’ve sent someone to get me. Hope they didn’t send Dimitri. He’d throw a fit if he knew all his stealth lessons went to waste…being Tsukikage sucks.”

……………………&# 8230;………...

The Anbu that had been stationed to watch over Nehru was surprised at what he heard. She was a Kage?

….

Nehru was being led by her guard, into Tsunade’s office after only two days of seemingly endless boredom. ‘Great I’m going to be put to death …and then this village will disappear shortly after. Maybe I can get Kura to track down who the vessel is and esca…

“You are a Kage?” the question was more of a statement.

Nehru gave a start and realized she was already in the Hokage’s office and being asked a question. Deciding it best not to lie, “Yea…Tsukikage actually.”

“Why didn’t you tell me you were a Kage?”

Shrugging, “Would you have believed me? How many Kage do you know that travel alone through war zones?”

“You being Tsukikage doesn’t change the fact you were caught spying on Konoha nins.”

Nehru looked ready to deny that claim, but because of her curiosity she chose to glare instead of retort, “However, it does change what I am going to do to you…I want you to send a letter to your village to provide me with proof you are who you say you are. If it is true we can negotiate.”

“What makes you think I just won’t send a message to have me rescued?”

“Because you won’t know where your… guardian is.”

“Fine, on the condition I am free to move around.”
