for the wait, but I want to make sure that I got this one a little longer. On Microsoft Works Word Processor, this is 11 pages long. It’ll probably only register is three to five on Media Miner since the lines have more space and such. So, yeah, I typed my fingers off for this chapter. Also, it’ll seem like Tsukiko is a main character, but she isn’t really. I mean, I just have to get her past down and such for the plot. I hope you understand that I’m not trying to force this character in as a main character, she just needs to develop the plot a little bit more.
Disclaimer: See first chapter, that disclaimer goes for the rest of the story.

“Well, it all started when I was five. That girl that healed my back didn’t notice it, but I have a blue, four point star with writing around it. That holds my demon in, the eight tailed panther.” She said with out emotion.
“I found out about it, and my parents were killed when I was little, so of course I had no one to turn to. The people of my village hated me. They would look at me with such cold eyes. Their eyes burned they were so cold. I didn’t care any more. The children didn’t know, but any one who be-friended me mysteriously disappeared the next day. I decided that having no friends was better than watching your friends disappear.” She sighed in annoyance as she sat down in a chair, wincing as her broken ribs shifted.
“Well, I became the strongest ninja in my age group, and some of the older ones, by the time I had turned 7. Then it got bad. I graduated from the academy that year, and I became a chuunin in the next exam, half a month after I left the academy. People hated me, they said I used the demon, and with out it, I was nothing. I ran away, not being able to take it any more.” She paused as she coughed up blood and Tsunade stood up.
“I’ll get you some water, there must still be blood in your throat and such.” True, you could tell from the way her voice sounded like sand paper, and her mouth was dry. Tsukiko merely nodded and watched as Tsunade left and returned shortly after with a bottle of water. “Continue.”
She took a drink of water and started talking again. “Well, I stayed in another village, one that didn’t know of me. It was full of farmers and peasants, like the Tea country. Any way, I stayed there until recently.” She took another sip of water as she started to cough again.
“While I was there, the information about my past leaked out some how. A few villagers got a hold of me while they were drunk. Thankfully, I wasn’t far from here. The result is what you saw while I was on that desk.” While she was talking, Tsunade moved around the room, looking for an extra shirt that the girl could wear.
“You do realize you’re a S-class missing nin, right?” Tsunade asked as she stood up, holding a T-shirt that Shizune had left here one day. She threw the shirt at Tsukiko, who pulled it on.
“Yes, and that’s not from what I did. That’s the demon, the eight tailed panther, like I said before.” She said in her monotone voice. “Well, I came here because it was closest to that village I was at. Also, I was quite hoping that I could stay here, I think that things have died down. Since I was born in your sister village, no one here, at least I think not, knows what I am. Is that correct?” She asked and Tsunade nodded.
“Good. Now then, the news that I was going to tell you. Well, Sasuke, the ‘traitor’ is on his way here. Also, Orochimaru is dead.” She had an idea that Tsunade already knew this.
“Yeah, I know. I’ve been communicating back and forth with Sasuke for the past 2-3 years. He told me what he had started to plan to do as soon as he could. I told him not to do it, but he’s been stubborn. Do you have any other news for me?” Tsunade was really thinking of letting the girl off easy.
“Yes, two things. One, my seal is weakening, I need to be re-sealed. Two, the Sound is falling apart completely. Sasuke had gotten a hold of a few people from other countries, and they destroyed most of that country. They won’t be giving you any more trouble.” She continued her monotone voice. “I have two questions. One, am I allowed to stay with out punishment or restrictions, and two, is my ‘family’ living here?”
Tsunade sighed, she knew this was coming. “I see no reason to punish you. Any one would leave after what you went through. Also, yes, your family still lives here. I’ll send you to them immediately after you leave.” She was expecting Tsukiko to smile, or show some sort of relief, but nothing showed on the girl’s face. “Jiraiya will re-seal you, no need to worry about that. I’ll get him to come here by tonight, and none of the villagers will find out.”
Tsukiko showed no emotion yet again. “In other words, I’m to leave now. I will go to my family, rest up, and report here for my assignments if you wish to send me on missions.” Tsunade nodded. “Oh, don’t worry, we’ll send you on a ton of missions. Now, go home, get some rest, and we‘ll send some one to get you for your mission. Also, if you could, send Naruto to go get Kakashi, and send Sakura in here. They were the last ones trying to heal you. You can miss them.”
Tsukiko nodded and stood up, leaving through the door. Seeing the boy and girl that she was to give information to, she walked up to them. “Medic nin Sakura-san, go to Tsunade. Naruto-san, Tsunade wants you to go find Kakashi.” She disappeared before any one could say anything, jumping out the window and running along the rooftops to her home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~
Naruto and Sakura had waited patiently, and silently, out side the door to Tsunade’s office for the 10-15 minutes it took for Tsukiko to explain every thing to Tsunade. When the girl came out, she walked up to the two and started talking.
Naruto nodded and took off towards Kakashi’s house. He had to find him, Tsukiko said so, but why there were sending him off to find his sensei was beyond him. Sakura had walked into Tsunade’s office.
“Tsukiko said that you wanted to talk to me?” She asked as she walked up to the blood-covered desk.
Tsunade nodded. “We’re waiting for Kakashi and Naruto to come here.” As soon as she said that, Kakashi and Naruto appeared, the first time in his life that Kakashi had been on time.
“Naruto said that you had something urgent to talk to me about a shinobi that appeared outside of town, Hokage-sama.” He received a nod, and watched as Sakura and Naruto both took seats. Kakashi knew that he could sit down, but didn’t. He didn’t take to sitting down in the Hokage’s office.
“A missing nin appeared. I have decided to let her back into the village, no questions asked, and no punishment. Also, I have news that Sasuke will be coming here shortly. I have something to tell you about him.” Sighing, she knew this would take a while.
“Sasuke, despite popular belief, is my double agent. When he arrives, I will tolerate no attacks. You will forgive him for leaving upon his return. That’s final. Word will be spread through out the village, no one will know the real reason that Sasuke left in the first place.” She had refused to let any one know the real reason, since she didn’t think that any one really needed to know.
“Finally, I have found you another member. Tsukiko Nanashi, she will join your team. Her brother is a bit eccentric, so be careful when you get to her house. Her brother isn’t really her brother, his parents adopted her, and so that’s why she looks different from them. She has a very bad past, so do not be surprised when she refuses to become your friends.” Tsunade knew that Tsukiko would work very well with any team she put her on, she knew the girl when she was five, but she also knew that she wouldn’t become friends with any one easily. She had built high walls around herself; the evidence was her lack of expression in her words and movements.
“Tsunade-sama, if you don’t mind me asking, why do we need a fourth member? I’m more than just a medic Nin, and you know it.” Tsunade smiled at the question and pinched the bridge of her nose; the day was taking its toll on her.
“Simple, in a fight, you are not to attack. She will take your place, if she gets past Kakashi’s training. Oh, and Kakashi, she has more than one side.” She hoped the jounin would understand this, and he did. She could tell when his eyes moved to the back of Naruto’s head, then back to her own while he nodded.
“Tsunade-sama, are sure that Sasuke will be coming back?” This was Naruto talking, and Tsunade nodded.
“Tsukiko told me that she had seen him. Don’t worry, he didn’t attack her, some one else tortured her. Be careful when around her, and don’t get too close. She may not trust you and hurt you severely. I doubt that you will be able to heal after she is done with you. Tsukiko may be only a chuunin, but she is powerful enough to be a Hokage. So, you’ve got another rival Naruto.” She was hoping to get the silent 18 year old to talk.
“Yeah, well, she’ll have to beat me first. She’s not going to become Hokage, I am. I can use different kinds of jutsu that Ero-sannin taught me.” He said in slight annoyance at Tsunade forgetting that he himself was quite the skilled ninja.
“Yes, well, I wouldn’t let her become Hokage any way. She may be powerful, but she has yet to understand how to use all of that power.” She paused, knowing that she was saying too much. “Oh, and Naruto? You might want to clean up all of that blood on you. You’re going to have to get rid of that outfit, don’t let the villagers see you like that either. There’ll be questions.”
Naruto nodded and immediately used Henge no Jutsu to turn into himself, with out the blood. “I’ll release this as soon as I get home. Is that all, granny Tsunade?”
Tsunade sighed when Naruto had called her ‘granny’ Tsunade. “Naruto, that’s Tsunade-sama to you.” She knew it was pointless to try to get the boy to put the honorific at the end of her name, but it was worth trying. “Yes, that’s all that I’ll need of you three. Oh, and here‘s her address.” She passed out three pieces of paper. “Sasuke should be back some time tonight if you wish to meet him.”
All three of them left, Naruto running off towards his house, Kakashi was off to the training grounds to set up traps for Tsukiko’s exam, and Sakura back to her house to finish decorating it, in order to throw the party.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~
“I’m guessing around one hour or so. Maybe longer. Now, go upstairs and get dressed. I’m pretty sure that Naruto and Kakashi should be here soon.” Though he didn’t like Naruto all that much, due to his obnoxious behavior, he didn’t mind him coming over. From what Sakura had told her parents, he was fully capable of controlling the demon fox’s chakra, and wouldn’t unseal it.
Sakura shook her head. “We’re going to push the party back a while, until Sasuke gets home. I’ve got something to tell you, something that is to be made public by this afternoon.” She said this after seeing the look on her father’s face.
“Sasuke, he’s a double agent for Konoha. Him and Tsunade have been passing information back and forth since three years after he left. The reason it took so long was so that he could gain Orochimaru’s trust. That snake didn’t trust him in the beginning, so he couldn’t take the risk of communicating with his old village. A few days ago, Sasuke killed Orochimaru, so we’ve no need to worry about him any more.
“This time, right now, we are to go and spread the information as quickly as possible by tonight. I know just who to tell if we want that to happen.” She sighed heavily as she finished, waiting for her dad to explode on her.
“Well, Sakura, I’m going to trust you, since you were right about Naruto. I only hope that the other villagers will react the same way. Since he’s an Uchiha, I think that they’ll accept him back pretty easily. His family is the reason the ANBU was created, and their family symbol is the ANBU symbol, so that is something for him. Also, you and Naruto are his friends, and his sensei is probably the most powerful ninja in this village, so that’s another thing going for him.” He dad tried his best to consol his teenaged daughter. “So, me and your mom will help. I’ll tell her, while you start to spread the information.” He gave her a kind smile, to receive a smile in return.
Quickly, she turned on her heel and started off. “Ino, I’m going to tell you first.” Her and Ino had gotten over their arguments shortly after Sasuke left. They didn’t need to fight over a boy that they could never have.
Ino had started to go out with Chouji, who had slimmed down a bit, but that was mostly due to his sudden change in height. He would soon be back up to his normal size in no time.
“Ino! Ino!” She called to the blond haired girl in front of the flower shop. “Guess what?”
Ino had looked over, to see that she had almost been run over by a pink and red blur. “Sakura, calm down!” She said to the heavily breathing pink haired girl in front of her, whose face was slightly flushed from her running. “What? I guessed what, now tell me.”
Sakura took a huge gulp of air and in one whole breath told her friend the entire story. “So, we need to spread this information as quickly as possible by tonight! He’s coming home tonight! I’m having a party at our house, we would usually celebrate Team 7’s first meeting, but now we’re celebrating Sasuke’s return! Tell the rest of the students that managed to make friends with us about the party, their jounin leaders as well.” Meaning Neji, Kiba, Hinata, Chouji, Shikamaru, Shino, Lee, and Ten Ten. ((If I forgot any one, please tell me in your review…))
Ino’s face lighted up immediately. “Are you sure Sakura?” She asked, and at a nod from the girl, she squealed in delight and started to run off. “I’ll spread the word as quickly as possible!” Ino shouted over her shoulder.
Sakura, who had nodded, started off in the opposite direction. The rest of her day was spent telling every one the information, and then making every one go off to spread it. Of course, with Ino helping, it wasn’t hard. ‘I should go get Tsukiko.’ She thought and headed off towards the girl’s house.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~
Quickly, Naruto took a shower, got dressed in his normal orange out fit, and made some instant cup chicken ramen. He bolted that down, even though it wasn’t enough to keep him full, he would go to the ramen stand and get the good stuff. So, he left, tying his forehead protector around his forehead.
Using his chakra to propel him forward, Naruto sped off to his teacher’s house. “Iruka-sensei!” He shouted at the door as he pounded on it with his fist. After his fifth knock, Iruka opened the door and stepped to the side.
“Come in, Naruto.” He said as he held the door open for the hyper active loud mouthed ninja.
“Iruka-sensei, no time for that.” Naruto said quickly and started to relay the information to him. “Tsunade says that he’ll be back by midnight, and she wants us to spread this information as quickly as possible.” He finally finished, to the relief of a slightly over-loaded Iruka.
“Well, I’ll trust you, but I really don’t like that Uchiha kid. He may have been the top student in your class, but he was really rude to you. Also, he almost killed you. That would have put him on my black list for months. So, I guess that means that the information will reach all of Konoha in a matter of hours.” Iruka said as he started to walk out of the house. “I’ll help you out, don’t worry.” With that, he was gone, having disappeared in a poof of smoke. He was currently headed toward the jounin instructor’s houses, planning on getting help with this unofficial mission.
Naruto smiled, closed Iruka’s door, and ran off to tell more people.
Tsukiko hesitated for a moment before turning around. “Onii-chan, I’m going to go train with my new team mates!” She shouted, and received a, “Sure, go ahead,” from her brother. Yeah, she had lied, but her brother wouldn’t have let her go other wise.
Sakura looked at the girl strangely for a few seconds before grabbing her arm and pulling her off to her house. “When I’m done with you, you’ll look sooooooo cute!” She half squealed half shouted.
Tsukiko merely nodded, resisting the sudden urge to throw Sakura into a building for dragging her. “What do you mean that you’ll do my make up and hair?” At this time they had stopped in front of a house.
Sakura looked at her like she was crazy. “I’ll put make up on you and make your hair look pretty.” She said in an innocent sounding voice. Tsukiko had looked rather confused, and suspicious that Sakura had something else planned, so she decided to console the teen.
“Oh, that sounds, fun.” Her voice was still its natural monotone, there was no way that you could tell if she were looking forward to this, or just thinking of it as a waste of time.
“Oh, come on. Put some enthusiasm or emotion in your voice!” Sakura tried to cheer her new team mate up, but the girl just made a rather painful looking smile. “Er, never mind… Just follow me.” Her dad wasn’t home, so she could avoid awkward questions. She noticed that Tsukiko was staring at all the decorations.
“Is there going to be a party?” She asked, looking at the balloons and streamers of each of their team mate’s favorite colors.
“Yeah, there is. It’ll be fun, and you’re invited, in fact, you’re one of the most important people that are going to show up.” Sakura explained as she showed the girl to their bathroom. “By the way, what’s your favorite color? Also, take a shower, so you’re not covered with blood.”
Tsukiko nodded and walked into the bathroom. “My favorite color? I guess I’ve never thought about it. White, or pale blue, which ever suits your needs better.” She then closed the door and turned to the shower.
While Tsukiko was washing off the blood in what felt like the best shower in the world, Sakura ran off to the store and bought balloons and streamers of white and really pale blue. When Sakura came back, Tsukiko was just finishing up with her shower.
“Wrap a towel around your body and hair and meet me in my room.” Sakura shouted to the other side of the door, receiving a, “Yes!” from Tsukiko. Quickly, she moved to the living room and put the streamers up, leaving the balloons on the table for her dad to blow up and hang from the ceiling on the white string that they had in the closet.
Tsukiko did as Sakura said, wrapping a rather fluffy and really comfortable towel around her hair and then one around her torso, it reached half way between her waist and knees, she left the bathroom.
Sakura looked at Tsukiko. “I don’t think you’re going to need make up or clothing to make you beautiful, you already are.” Of course, that was a little bit of an exaggeration.
At the moment, Tsukiko’s hair is a dark brown, almost black, color, but that’s due to the water. When her hair were to dry, you’d see that it’s white with light blue streaks through it. Her eyes are a bright blue, and her skin is white, like porcelain. Tsukiko has an average height, and everything about her. The only thing that’s not average, besides all the scars on her back, is that her porcelain skin is covered with purple and blue bruises.
“Do you want me to heal your bruises up?” Sakura asked, forgetting that the girl was just in a towel and was probably freezing, since the towels looked so much like dresses. Tsukiko shook her ‘no‘. “I can deal with this, easily.” She then performed a quick set of hand seals, covering up all of her bruises and scars, even the kanji tattoo that showed up just above the towel.
Sakura nodded and walked up to her. When she reached her, she noticed goose bumps all over her arms. “How about we get you dress up first?”
At a nod from Tsukiko, Sakura led the girl to her room. “My clothes will probably be a bit long on you, since you’re slightly shorter than me, but that shouldn’t be much of a problem. How about we put you in a dress?” At a nose wrinkle from Tsukiko, the first emotion the girl had shown in front of Sakura, she thought up something else. “How about a skirt?”
Tsukiko nodded. “Sure.” She didn’t realize that she had wrinkled her nose until it was too late to do much about it. An outfit was immediately shoved into her hands and she was shoved into the closet, where the light was turned on for her. “Get dressed.” Was all that Sakura said before Tsukiko put the outfit on with out question.
When she came out of the closet, Sakura squealed in delight. “You look so cute! Just like a doll!” True, her blank stare, porcelain skin, and expressionless face made her look like a doll already, but the clothing was even more so.
Her top is black with a red flower print. It’s a sleeveless shirt, the sleeves are attached to her arm with elastic bands, which are just tight enough so that the arm covers don’t move, but they don’t dig into her skin enough to cut off her circulation. The skirt is slit up both side, and underneath she is wearing a pair of black shorts. Her skirt is red with the same flower pattern, only the flowers are black instead of red, and it reaches about her knees. Sakura had given her socks to wear inside of the house, and these socks are red. Her new Konoha forehead protector is tied around her neck and hangs loosely down, the shirt collar hiding all but the metal part, as the shirt has a high collar. The shirt is a zip up, like most of Sakura’s things.
“Now it’s time for your make up!” She shouted before dragging Tsukiko over to the vanity and putting her down in front of it on the chair that she had recently acquired. “Along with your hair!”
Quickly, Sakura opened up all of the draws and pulled out lipstick, eyeliner, hair ties, a brush, mousse, and a hair blow drier. “This should be quite easy.” With out looking at the girl, she had already gotten in mind what make up to use, she started to put really bright red lipstick on the girl’s lips. When that was done, she put a gloss on over it, to make her lips look wet instead of the normal dry color that her lipstick often left behind. Quickly, she pulled out the corner of the girl’s eyes and applied the liquid black eye liner to the eyes that were currently wider than they should be.
Just as soon as it had started, the make up was done, and Sakura was working on the girl’s waist length hair. It had dried up partly, and she had gotten an idea of what color it is. So, she plugged the hair dryer in and blow dried the slightly wavy white hair with blue streaks. When that was done, she brushed it after running her hands through it, which were covered with mousse. The girl’s hair is silky, even softer than Sakura’s own hair. When that was done, she pulled it up into a pony tail, and instead of pulling it completely through on the last time, she made it into a loop. “Don’t worry, you’re in good hands.” Of course, no worry had crossed the girl’s face, she still remained expressionless. She put a flower pin in the strip of cloth that she used to pull the girl‘s hair back, which stuck out away from her head a good two inches. Her hair hung limply, which just made her look cute, and the red rose added to that.
“Almost done.” Something had seemed rather off, and Sakura just figured it out. Pulling out the mascara, she ran the brush over the girls light colored eye lashes, making them look longer than what they really were, and darker, which contrasted with her eyes and helped the eye liner bring out their brightness.
“Done!” She exclaimed, stepping back to look at her ‘work of art‘. “You can sit on my bed over there, I’ll go take a quick shower and get dressed just as quickly.” She had outdone herself this time, she thought, as she watched the now extremely drop dead gorgeous girl walk over to the bed and sit down. ‘I’m going to make myself look just as good!’
Quickly, Sakura took a cold shower, as the heat from the hot showers always messed with her hair later, and walked back into the room in identical towels as to what Tsukiko was wearing last. The sun had set a while ago, and now she was guessing that it was 10 PM, maybe 11. Walking into her closet, she came out in a tight form fitting black shirt with a low v-neck, the sleeves reached about to the middle of her forearms. Her skirt is a black mini cloth skirt that fits tightly to her, and under that is a pair of black biker shorts.
Quickly, she walked up to the same vanity that she had Tsukiko sitting at earlier, and she put a thin line of black eye liner on the bottom half of her eyes, and put the same lip stick and gloss on that she had Tsukiko wear. Her hair is still shoulder length, so she couldn’t do much for it, besides blow dry it and make it straight. She quickly tied her forehead protector on to her head like a head band, and turned to face Tsukiko. “How do I look?”
With out any emotion, as usual, Tsukiko replied, “You look great. I’m betting that you’re the best looking girl in the village.” Her monotone voice continued on. “Why are we having a party? Also, why am I one of the most important people that are going to attend?”
Sakura smiled a secret smile. “Well, Sasuke is coming home. I’m not going to tell you why you’re important, that would ruin most of the surprise.” Quickly, she turned to a pile of scrolls. “Here, there’s information on every one in the village, you should look through these quickly. We don’t want any name confusion later on.” Sakura tossed a few of the important scrolls at Tsukiko. “Also, we should work on your smile, you don’t look to friendly, even if that indifferent look on your face makes your outfit all that much better. People won’t like you if you don’t talk to them.” She explained as she sat down next to Tsukiko.
“My smile…?” She asked, slightly confused on this. “I will, try.” She said as she tried once more to look happy, but failed and just looked creepy.
“Um, maybe we should work on your smile later. For now, jut read these scrolls.” Sakura said with a kind smile on her face.
Tsukiko just nodded and started on the scrolls. They had less then two hours, and she needed to know most, if not all, of the people of the village by then.
Party next chapter, maybe some lemon, I’m not too sure at the moment. *Thinks on the matters.* I know, this chapter was pretty long, and all of my chapters will be. I’ve gotten a lot of information to lay out, and doing that in a short amount of time is almost impossible.
Well, I’ll see ya some other time! Bye for now!
Disclaimer: See first chapter, that disclaimer goes for the rest of the story.
Naruto and Sakura had waited patiently, and silently, out side the door to Tsunade’s office for the 10-15 minutes it took for Tsukiko to explain every thing to Tsunade. When the girl came out, she walked up to the two and started talking.
Naruto nodded and took off towards Kakashi’s house. He had to find him, Tsukiko said so, but why there were sending him off to find his sensei was beyond him. Sakura had walked into Tsunade’s office.
“Tsukiko said that you wanted to talk to me?” She asked as she walked up to the blood-covered desk.
Tsunade nodded. “We’re waiting for Kakashi and Naruto to come here.” As soon as she said that, Kakashi and Naruto appeared, the first time in his life that Kakashi had been on time.
“Naruto said that you had something urgent to talk to me about a shinobi that appeared outside of town, Hokage-sama.” He received a nod, and watched as Sakura and Naruto both took seats. Kakashi knew that he could sit down, but didn’t. He didn’t take to sitting down in the Hokage’s office.
“A missing nin appeared. I have decided to let her back into the village, no questions asked, and no punishment. Also, I have news that Sasuke will be coming here shortly. I have something to tell you about him.” Sighing, she knew this would take a while.
“Sasuke, despite popular belief, is my double agent. When he arrives, I will tolerate no attacks. You will forgive him for leaving upon his return. That’s final. Word will be spread through out the village, no one will know the real reason that Sasuke left in the first place.” She had refused to let any one know the real reason, since she didn’t think that any one really needed to know.
“Finally, I have found you another member. Tsukiko Nanashi, she will join your team. Her brother is a bit eccentric, so be careful when you get to her house. Her brother isn’t really her brother, his parents adopted her, and so that’s why she looks different from them. She has a very bad past, so do not be surprised when she refuses to become your friends.” Tsunade knew that Tsukiko would work very well with any team she put her on, she knew the girl when she was five, but she also knew that she wouldn’t become friends with any one easily. She had built high walls around herself; the evidence was her lack of expression in her words and movements.
“Tsunade-sama, if you don’t mind me asking, why do we need a fourth member? I’m more than just a medic Nin, and you know it.” Tsunade smiled at the question and pinched the bridge of her nose; the day was taking its toll on her.
“Simple, in a fight, you are not to attack. She will take your place, if she gets past Kakashi’s training. Oh, and Kakashi, she has more than one side.” She hoped the jounin would understand this, and he did. She could tell when his eyes moved to the back of Naruto’s head, then back to her own while he nodded.
“Tsunade-sama, are sure that Sasuke will be coming back?” This was Naruto talking, and Tsunade nodded.
“Tsukiko told me that she had seen him. Don’t worry, he didn’t attack her, some one else tortured her. Be careful when around her, and don’t get too close. She may not trust you and hurt you severely. I doubt that you will be able to heal after she is done with you. Tsukiko may be only a chuunin, but she is powerful enough to be a Hokage. So, you’ve got another rival Naruto.” She was hoping to get the silent 18 year old to talk.
“Yeah, well, she’ll have to beat me first. She’s not going to become Hokage, I am. I can use different kinds of jutsu that Ero-sannin taught me.” He said in slight annoyance at Tsunade forgetting that he himself was quite the skilled ninja.
“Yes, well, I wouldn’t let her become Hokage any way. She may be powerful, but she has yet to understand how to use all of that power.” She paused, knowing that she was saying too much. “Oh, and Naruto? You might want to clean up all of that blood on you. You’re going to have to get rid of that outfit, don’t let the villagers see you like that either. There’ll be questions.”
Naruto nodded and immediately used Henge no Jutsu to turn into himself, with out the blood. “I’ll release this as soon as I get home. Is that all, granny Tsunade?”
Tsunade sighed when Naruto had called her ‘granny’ Tsunade. “Naruto, that’s Tsunade-sama to you.” She knew it was pointless to try to get the boy to put the honorific at the end of her name, but it was worth trying. “Yes, that’s all that I’ll need of you three. Oh, and here‘s her address.” She passed out three pieces of paper. “Sasuke should be back some time tonight if you wish to meet him.”
All three of them left, Naruto running off towards his house, Kakashi was off to the training grounds to set up traps for Tsukiko’s exam, and Sakura back to her house to finish decorating it, in order to throw the party.
With Sakura
When she had gotten home, she looked in her living room to see that it was fully decorated. Sakura looked at her dad, who stood smiling proudly at his job well done. “Dad, how long was I gone?” She asked and he chuckled slightly.“I’m guessing around one hour or so. Maybe longer. Now, go upstairs and get dressed. I’m pretty sure that Naruto and Kakashi should be here soon.” Though he didn’t like Naruto all that much, due to his obnoxious behavior, he didn’t mind him coming over. From what Sakura had told her parents, he was fully capable of controlling the demon fox’s chakra, and wouldn’t unseal it.
Sakura shook her head. “We’re going to push the party back a while, until Sasuke gets home. I’ve got something to tell you, something that is to be made public by this afternoon.” She said this after seeing the look on her father’s face.
“Sasuke, he’s a double agent for Konoha. Him and Tsunade have been passing information back and forth since three years after he left. The reason it took so long was so that he could gain Orochimaru’s trust. That snake didn’t trust him in the beginning, so he couldn’t take the risk of communicating with his old village. A few days ago, Sasuke killed Orochimaru, so we’ve no need to worry about him any more.
“This time, right now, we are to go and spread the information as quickly as possible by tonight. I know just who to tell if we want that to happen.” She sighed heavily as she finished, waiting for her dad to explode on her.
“Well, Sakura, I’m going to trust you, since you were right about Naruto. I only hope that the other villagers will react the same way. Since he’s an Uchiha, I think that they’ll accept him back pretty easily. His family is the reason the ANBU was created, and their family symbol is the ANBU symbol, so that is something for him. Also, you and Naruto are his friends, and his sensei is probably the most powerful ninja in this village, so that’s another thing going for him.” He dad tried his best to consol his teenaged daughter. “So, me and your mom will help. I’ll tell her, while you start to spread the information.” He gave her a kind smile, to receive a smile in return.
Quickly, she turned on her heel and started off. “Ino, I’m going to tell you first.” Her and Ino had gotten over their arguments shortly after Sasuke left. They didn’t need to fight over a boy that they could never have.
Ino had started to go out with Chouji, who had slimmed down a bit, but that was mostly due to his sudden change in height. He would soon be back up to his normal size in no time.
“Ino! Ino!” She called to the blond haired girl in front of the flower shop. “Guess what?”
Ino had looked over, to see that she had almost been run over by a pink and red blur. “Sakura, calm down!” She said to the heavily breathing pink haired girl in front of her, whose face was slightly flushed from her running. “What? I guessed what, now tell me.”
Sakura took a huge gulp of air and in one whole breath told her friend the entire story. “So, we need to spread this information as quickly as possible by tonight! He’s coming home tonight! I’m having a party at our house, we would usually celebrate Team 7’s first meeting, but now we’re celebrating Sasuke’s return! Tell the rest of the students that managed to make friends with us about the party, their jounin leaders as well.” Meaning Neji, Kiba, Hinata, Chouji, Shikamaru, Shino, Lee, and Ten Ten. ((If I forgot any one, please tell me in your review…))
Ino’s face lighted up immediately. “Are you sure Sakura?” She asked, and at a nod from the girl, she squealed in delight and started to run off. “I’ll spread the word as quickly as possible!” Ino shouted over her shoulder.
Sakura, who had nodded, started off in the opposite direction. The rest of her day was spent telling every one the information, and then making every one go off to spread it. Of course, with Ino helping, it wasn’t hard. ‘I should go get Tsukiko.’ She thought and headed off towards the girl’s house.
With Naruto
As soon as the boy had gotten home, he had changed. He knew that Sakura was going to hold off the party until Sasuke arrived, it was just common sense. The girl had been head-over-heels in love with him, but her crush had dwindled down to friendship in the years that Sasuke had been gone. He planned on going over to Iruka-sensei’s house after this to tell him the news, and to tell him to spread it.Quickly, Naruto took a shower, got dressed in his normal orange out fit, and made some instant cup chicken ramen. He bolted that down, even though it wasn’t enough to keep him full, he would go to the ramen stand and get the good stuff. So, he left, tying his forehead protector around his forehead.
Using his chakra to propel him forward, Naruto sped off to his teacher’s house. “Iruka-sensei!” He shouted at the door as he pounded on it with his fist. After his fifth knock, Iruka opened the door and stepped to the side.
“Come in, Naruto.” He said as he held the door open for the hyper active loud mouthed ninja.
“Iruka-sensei, no time for that.” Naruto said quickly and started to relay the information to him. “Tsunade says that he’ll be back by midnight, and she wants us to spread this information as quickly as possible.” He finally finished, to the relief of a slightly over-loaded Iruka.
“Well, I’ll trust you, but I really don’t like that Uchiha kid. He may have been the top student in your class, but he was really rude to you. Also, he almost killed you. That would have put him on my black list for months. So, I guess that means that the information will reach all of Konoha in a matter of hours.” Iruka said as he started to walk out of the house. “I’ll help you out, don’t worry.” With that, he was gone, having disappeared in a poof of smoke. He was currently headed toward the jounin instructor’s houses, planning on getting help with this unofficial mission.
Naruto smiled, closed Iruka’s door, and ran off to tell more people.
Back with Sakura
She had managed to make it to Tsukiko’s house with out getting lost once. After knocking on the door three times, Tsukiko showed up. The girl was still red from her blood, the only two differences were that she had gotten a better looking shirt, and had no injuries at all left, none that were visible any ways. “Hurry up, come over to my house. We’ll do each other’s clothes and hair and such. You can also take a shower.” Sakura added the last when she noticed that the only color other than red on the girl was blue, and that’s the shirt and her eyes.Tsukiko hesitated for a moment before turning around. “Onii-chan, I’m going to go train with my new team mates!” She shouted, and received a, “Sure, go ahead,” from her brother. Yeah, she had lied, but her brother wouldn’t have let her go other wise.
Sakura looked at the girl strangely for a few seconds before grabbing her arm and pulling her off to her house. “When I’m done with you, you’ll look sooooooo cute!” She half squealed half shouted.
Tsukiko merely nodded, resisting the sudden urge to throw Sakura into a building for dragging her. “What do you mean that you’ll do my make up and hair?” At this time they had stopped in front of a house.
Sakura looked at her like she was crazy. “I’ll put make up on you and make your hair look pretty.” She said in an innocent sounding voice. Tsukiko had looked rather confused, and suspicious that Sakura had something else planned, so she decided to console the teen.
“Oh, that sounds, fun.” Her voice was still its natural monotone, there was no way that you could tell if she were looking forward to this, or just thinking of it as a waste of time.
“Oh, come on. Put some enthusiasm or emotion in your voice!” Sakura tried to cheer her new team mate up, but the girl just made a rather painful looking smile. “Er, never mind… Just follow me.” Her dad wasn’t home, so she could avoid awkward questions. She noticed that Tsukiko was staring at all the decorations.
“Is there going to be a party?” She asked, looking at the balloons and streamers of each of their team mate’s favorite colors.
“Yeah, there is. It’ll be fun, and you’re invited, in fact, you’re one of the most important people that are going to show up.” Sakura explained as she showed the girl to their bathroom. “By the way, what’s your favorite color? Also, take a shower, so you’re not covered with blood.”
Tsukiko nodded and walked into the bathroom. “My favorite color? I guess I’ve never thought about it. White, or pale blue, which ever suits your needs better.” She then closed the door and turned to the shower.
While Tsukiko was washing off the blood in what felt like the best shower in the world, Sakura ran off to the store and bought balloons and streamers of white and really pale blue. When Sakura came back, Tsukiko was just finishing up with her shower.
“Wrap a towel around your body and hair and meet me in my room.” Sakura shouted to the other side of the door, receiving a, “Yes!” from Tsukiko. Quickly, she moved to the living room and put the streamers up, leaving the balloons on the table for her dad to blow up and hang from the ceiling on the white string that they had in the closet.
Tsukiko did as Sakura said, wrapping a rather fluffy and really comfortable towel around her hair and then one around her torso, it reached half way between her waist and knees, she left the bathroom.
Sakura looked at Tsukiko. “I don’t think you’re going to need make up or clothing to make you beautiful, you already are.” Of course, that was a little bit of an exaggeration.
At the moment, Tsukiko’s hair is a dark brown, almost black, color, but that’s due to the water. When her hair were to dry, you’d see that it’s white with light blue streaks through it. Her eyes are a bright blue, and her skin is white, like porcelain. Tsukiko has an average height, and everything about her. The only thing that’s not average, besides all the scars on her back, is that her porcelain skin is covered with purple and blue bruises.
“Do you want me to heal your bruises up?” Sakura asked, forgetting that the girl was just in a towel and was probably freezing, since the towels looked so much like dresses. Tsukiko shook her ‘no‘. “I can deal with this, easily.” She then performed a quick set of hand seals, covering up all of her bruises and scars, even the kanji tattoo that showed up just above the towel.
Sakura nodded and walked up to her. When she reached her, she noticed goose bumps all over her arms. “How about we get you dress up first?”
At a nod from Tsukiko, Sakura led the girl to her room. “My clothes will probably be a bit long on you, since you’re slightly shorter than me, but that shouldn’t be much of a problem. How about we put you in a dress?” At a nose wrinkle from Tsukiko, the first emotion the girl had shown in front of Sakura, she thought up something else. “How about a skirt?”
Tsukiko nodded. “Sure.” She didn’t realize that she had wrinkled her nose until it was too late to do much about it. An outfit was immediately shoved into her hands and she was shoved into the closet, where the light was turned on for her. “Get dressed.” Was all that Sakura said before Tsukiko put the outfit on with out question.
When she came out of the closet, Sakura squealed in delight. “You look so cute! Just like a doll!” True, her blank stare, porcelain skin, and expressionless face made her look like a doll already, but the clothing was even more so.
Her top is black with a red flower print. It’s a sleeveless shirt, the sleeves are attached to her arm with elastic bands, which are just tight enough so that the arm covers don’t move, but they don’t dig into her skin enough to cut off her circulation. The skirt is slit up both side, and underneath she is wearing a pair of black shorts. Her skirt is red with the same flower pattern, only the flowers are black instead of red, and it reaches about her knees. Sakura had given her socks to wear inside of the house, and these socks are red. Her new Konoha forehead protector is tied around her neck and hangs loosely down, the shirt collar hiding all but the metal part, as the shirt has a high collar. The shirt is a zip up, like most of Sakura’s things.
“Now it’s time for your make up!” She shouted before dragging Tsukiko over to the vanity and putting her down in front of it on the chair that she had recently acquired. “Along with your hair!”
Quickly, Sakura opened up all of the draws and pulled out lipstick, eyeliner, hair ties, a brush, mousse, and a hair blow drier. “This should be quite easy.” With out looking at the girl, she had already gotten in mind what make up to use, she started to put really bright red lipstick on the girl’s lips. When that was done, she put a gloss on over it, to make her lips look wet instead of the normal dry color that her lipstick often left behind. Quickly, she pulled out the corner of the girl’s eyes and applied the liquid black eye liner to the eyes that were currently wider than they should be.
Just as soon as it had started, the make up was done, and Sakura was working on the girl’s waist length hair. It had dried up partly, and she had gotten an idea of what color it is. So, she plugged the hair dryer in and blow dried the slightly wavy white hair with blue streaks. When that was done, she brushed it after running her hands through it, which were covered with mousse. The girl’s hair is silky, even softer than Sakura’s own hair. When that was done, she pulled it up into a pony tail, and instead of pulling it completely through on the last time, she made it into a loop. “Don’t worry, you’re in good hands.” Of course, no worry had crossed the girl’s face, she still remained expressionless. She put a flower pin in the strip of cloth that she used to pull the girl‘s hair back, which stuck out away from her head a good two inches. Her hair hung limply, which just made her look cute, and the red rose added to that.
“Almost done.” Something had seemed rather off, and Sakura just figured it out. Pulling out the mascara, she ran the brush over the girls light colored eye lashes, making them look longer than what they really were, and darker, which contrasted with her eyes and helped the eye liner bring out their brightness.
“Done!” She exclaimed, stepping back to look at her ‘work of art‘. “You can sit on my bed over there, I’ll go take a quick shower and get dressed just as quickly.” She had outdone herself this time, she thought, as she watched the now extremely drop dead gorgeous girl walk over to the bed and sit down. ‘I’m going to make myself look just as good!’
Quickly, Sakura took a cold shower, as the heat from the hot showers always messed with her hair later, and walked back into the room in identical towels as to what Tsukiko was wearing last. The sun had set a while ago, and now she was guessing that it was 10 PM, maybe 11. Walking into her closet, she came out in a tight form fitting black shirt with a low v-neck, the sleeves reached about to the middle of her forearms. Her skirt is a black mini cloth skirt that fits tightly to her, and under that is a pair of black biker shorts.
Quickly, she walked up to the same vanity that she had Tsukiko sitting at earlier, and she put a thin line of black eye liner on the bottom half of her eyes, and put the same lip stick and gloss on that she had Tsukiko wear. Her hair is still shoulder length, so she couldn’t do much for it, besides blow dry it and make it straight. She quickly tied her forehead protector on to her head like a head band, and turned to face Tsukiko. “How do I look?”
With out any emotion, as usual, Tsukiko replied, “You look great. I’m betting that you’re the best looking girl in the village.” Her monotone voice continued on. “Why are we having a party? Also, why am I one of the most important people that are going to attend?”
Sakura smiled a secret smile. “Well, Sasuke is coming home. I’m not going to tell you why you’re important, that would ruin most of the surprise.” Quickly, she turned to a pile of scrolls. “Here, there’s information on every one in the village, you should look through these quickly. We don’t want any name confusion later on.” Sakura tossed a few of the important scrolls at Tsukiko. “Also, we should work on your smile, you don’t look to friendly, even if that indifferent look on your face makes your outfit all that much better. People won’t like you if you don’t talk to them.” She explained as she sat down next to Tsukiko.
“My smile…?” She asked, slightly confused on this. “I will, try.” She said as she tried once more to look happy, but failed and just looked creepy.
“Um, maybe we should work on your smile later. For now, jut read these scrolls.” Sakura said with a kind smile on her face.
Tsukiko just nodded and started on the scrolls. They had less then two hours, and she needed to know most, if not all, of the people of the village by then.
Party next chapter, maybe some lemon, I’m not too sure at the moment. *Thinks on the matters.* I know, this chapter was pretty long, and all of my chapters will be. I’ve gotten a lot of information to lay out, and doing that in a short amount of time is almost impossible.
Well, I’ll see ya some other time! Bye for now!
