Summery: Naruto has been keeping a few secrets from everyone, including the Hokages. Before a long term mission he reveals the truth about Kyuubi and himself to Sasuke and Kiba. The sun was slowly setting, casting its parting rays across the darkening sky. In a field, three boys laid on the ground panting for air, slightly bloody and bruised from their previous activites. Their training had gone a lot better than any of them expected. Kiba could tell that the kits were better trained than Naruto had led them to believe, the only thing that Naruto and the foxes lacked is team work skills which would come with time. He was actually rather impressed with their abilities to follow Naruto's silent orders.
" Well Im starving. You guys wanna go for dinner?" Naruto asked
" As long as its not ramen." Sasuke deadpanned.
" Yeah no ramen Naruto.. that stuff is disgusting! Wanna go to the Barbecue Hut?" Kiba grunted his response.
"Sheesh, I like ramen but I dont ALWAYS eat it. I was thinking of going to my apartment and cooking up something. Maybe onigiri or yakitori." Naruto shrugged his mouth slightly watering at the thought of yakizakana, rice and some miso soup..mmm..." actually I have an idea what I wanna make."
" And what would that be. I'm surprised you know how to cook at all." came Sasuke's teasing voice
" Hmpf, shows how well you know me doesnt it? I've lived alone my entire life, did you honestly think that ramen was the only thing I ate? Anyway I'm thinking I'm gonna make yakizakana, rice and miso soup. Sound good to you guys?"
" Whatever, sounds fine to me. Did you need to pick anything up on the way to your place? Actually we should go to my house and camp out there for a week or so, its bigger. Hokage-sama did say we should learn each others habits and what not. What better way." Sasuke suggested thoughtfully. He really didn't like the idea of these morons in his home but they did need to learn to co-exist since they will be practically living together for six months or more. Sasuke gave a soft sigh. " Just dont burn down my kitchen" He smirked at Naruto who growled in return.
"Fine, I'm going to run home and grab my stuff. Should I bring the food I need or do you have it already at your house?"
"You better bring it. I havent gone shoping for this week yet. I've been to busy training. Kiba you know where I live right?"
"Iie, but I'm only a few doors down from Naruto so I will come with him" Kiba had moved from his parents house a year ago, moving into the apartments used by unmarried ninjas. Naruto had moved into them after a freak fire burned down his old apartment.
" Later," Sasuke stood up and ran off towards his house. He needed to prepare rooms for them.
Naruto and Kiba laid in the swaying grass staring up at the ever darkening sky. Naruto was deep in thought about the events of the day. He felt a bit tired from the emotions still coursing through him. It had been difficult revealing himself to just two of his friends, he still had more to talk to. ' Today went alot better than I thought, maybe I should tell the rest of my friends before I leave. What do you think ojisan?'
" I think thats up to you kit. You should tell them. I think it would make things easier on you, especially if you tell Hokage-sama. She would be able to pair you with people who know when you go on missions and order those who dont accept you to keep quiet. Though I believe that all of your friends will accept you.. well except that Haruno girl. She gives even me the creeps." a shiver ran down Kyuubi's back at the thought of Sakura, just something about that girl wasent right.
Naruto chuckled, ' I know what ya mean ojisan. Think I will tell them tomorrow. Should I tell baa-chan first or should I tell them all together.. no on second thought I'm going to go to baa-chan first. She needs to know, I should have told her sooner.'
" You better get going kit, you promised them dinner and you need to pack a few things for your stay. And remember to becareful, mating season isnt to far away and kami-sama knows how your two friends are going to react. I remember your first heat," kyuubi let out a loud laugh in remembrance," funniest thing I had ever seen."
Naruto shudder at the remembered time. He had been with Gaara in Suna on a mission when both he and Gaara had gone into heat. Though Gaara had no idea what was happening since he was human and it was his demon that was going into heat, Naruto knew and he wasent happy about it. He wasen't attracted to Gaara like that, though he did like guys. Gaara simply was not his type, but Gaara's heat had driven him crazy. He lost count on how many times he had to run to the bathroom to take care of his little, okay maybe not so little, problem before anyone noticed it. Kyuubi had thought it was hilarious and to this day still got on his nerves about it. What made this mating season, and subsequent heat, worse was the man he had a secret crush on was going to be on this mission with him. Leaving Naruto without a place to hide till the season was over. He thanked Kamisama that he only had to endure this torture once a year. " Yo Kiba, we need to get going. I promised dinner after all." Naruto fox grinned at his companion.
Both boys took to the trees, speeding off towards home.

Sasuke leaned on the door frame of his kitchen, amusement dancing playfully in his eyes as he watched the blond's ears twitching as he hummed tunelessly. Naruto had an apron on and was slightly swaying to his humming every once in a while a sung word, he barely noticed the other rooms occupant. " Are you just going to stand there and stare or are you going to go away so I can finish what Im doing in peace?" he continued in a sing song like voice.
" I think I will watch dobe. Your quite... entertaining. I didn't know you had a talent for singing." Naruto's slight singing had a comfort tone, and Sasuke found himself enraptured by it wanting to hear more. " Please dont stop on my account." a slight movement from behind him got his attention as Kiba entered the room with Akamaru.
" Im glad your both here, I wanted to ask you guys something. Umm..you see I decided that before we left I wanted to tell everyone. You know about being a kitsune hanyou. I plan to go to baa-chan in the morning and telling her first then having her call the others and telling them. I was kinda hoping that you guys would go with me when I told everyone." he mumbled. He hated to ask for anything, he had to much pride. .
" Hn" Sasuke grunted with a hint of irritation.
" Of course fox boy. I cant wait to see the others reactions." Kiba grinned imagining everyones reactions, then a serious look crossed his face, " Nartuo are you sure you really want to do this? I mean I can understand your tired of hiding and all, but you will still be in henge around the villagers wouldnt it be wiser not to expose yourself? I mean what if one of them freaks out and tells everyone in the village despite what Hokage-sama says?"
Naruto thought it was a very resonable question, one that he had asked himself on the way here. He really didnt want to risk it but he felt the need to share, he had kept this a seceret for the last six years. " I had thought about that, but the end result is worth the risk. I want to be able to be in my true form on my missions and baa-chan cant always pair me up with you two. No, its better to tell them now and give them a chance to accept or reject me. If they reject me, well there is always you two" he gave a wry grin. He was scared, but knowing that at least two people accepted him already helped ease some of his wariness of telling the others. Turning back to the stove and checking on the miso soup and rice he declared dinner ready. Sasuke quickly set the table up while Naruto brought out the finished food.
Sasuke and Kiba were very surprised at how good the food was, Naruto wasen't lying when he said he could cook. They ate in silence, each contemplating the day to come and Naruto's subsequent coming out.
Sasuke showed Kiba and Naruto to the guest rooms he had set up for them. Saying goodnight each went to their respective rooms for the night.

The silvery light from the full moon glowed through the open window as a warm light breeze played with the silken curtains. Naruto sat on the window sill looking up into the starry night. He was having trouble sleeping, memories assulting his already troubled mind.
Flash Back-
" Look there's the little monster!" A woman with long golden hair and a fierce anger twisting her normally gentle face glared hatefully at the little eight year old Naruto. "Demon" she spat hatefully. A small crowd began to form around the frightened child. He couldnt understand what was happening.
" I..Im not a demon" he barely squeaked. His fearful eyes darting at the aproaching adults.
" Yes you are, dont lie! You killed my brother demon." the tall woman spit on the child. A man with red hair laughed, roughly pushing the child down into the dirt of the ally.
" You deserve to die after what you have done!" another man yelled coming at the young Naruto with a kunai in hand. The crowd began beating on the child ruthlessly. A short time later, they left a barely breathing Naruto near a dumpster to die.
A man with silver, gravity defying hair came upon the broken form of the blond demon vessel. Silently cursing the villagers for their stupidity, he carefully scooped up the child and took him to the hospital.
End Flash Back
Naruto shudder slightly at the memory. It wasen't his only one. He had recieved many beatings just like that. He let out a soft sigh and decided a little singing was in order, maybe that would help him get rid of his depressing thoughts and memories. In a soft tone, Naruto began to sing.

Naruto let out a soft sigh, lying on his back with his hand over his forehead. That song always made him feel better, some how calming his inner turmoil. A few moments later he had fallen into a restless sleep.

" Hokage-sama I have something very important that I must discuss with you. It concerns Kyuubi." Naruto stated flately.
Tsunade started in surprise. Naruto had never called her by her formal title unless it was very important. Her brows furrowed as she realized he had talked about Kyuubi in front of Sasuke and Kiba. " Kiba and Sasuke you are dismissed. Naruto what .."
" No, I want them to stay. They already know everything. But there is something I havent told anyone until now and I think it is of importance that you know." Naruto cut her off calmly.
" WHAT!?" she yelled in surprise.
" Hai, I felt it was important for them to know. We are going on a mission that could take up to a year and with Akatsuki still after me, I had to tell them. They needed to be warned of the danger. Which brings me to the reason why I'm here. I want to tell the rest of my friends. I'm tired of lying to them and keeping secrets. Hokage-sama, I realize this may be difficult for you but I want you to hear me out. Do you know who my father is, and please answer truthfully because I already know." he gave her a stern look.
" Hai, I know who your father is. How did you find out?" her curiosity piqued.
" Kyuubi told me." a simple statment that left the room in total silence.
" I.. thats not possible."
" Oh it is, it is very possible. Do you know the reason why Kyuubi attacked?" he continued his questioning. He needed to know how much she knew.
" Of course not! No one can read the mind of a demon."
Naruto chuckled. " True, no one can read our minds. Would you like to SEE the reason why Kyuubi attacked?" his eyes flickered with amusement at her confused expression. He stood up, moving the chair slightly back. He looked to his other companions, Kiba had the goofiest grin Naruto had ever seen. Sasuke's eyes held amusement, though his facial features remained stoic. Naruto made quick hand signs, releasing his henge, revealing his hanyou form.
A gasp, then silence. Tsunade unsure of what to say. " I.. I dont understand. Did you and Kyuubi merge?" It was the only thing she could think of that could change his apperance so.
Naruto burst out laughing. " Hardly. This, baa-chan, is the real me. The reason for Kyuubi's attack. My father mated with his younger sister. Lets just say he wasen't very happy about the idea. He demanded father hand her over, he refused. The rest you know. Kyuubi is actually my uncle. I didn't find out untill after I was fourteen and the change began. I.. I decided it was time I told you. I'm tired of hiding my abilities, my blood line limit, who I am. Though I will stay in henge while in the village when I go on missions I want to be able to be in my true form. My senses are better in this form, and I can control my chakra better. I want to tell my friends, that way if you have missions for me that require me to have a partner you can choose one of them and I dont have to continue hiding in henge."
Tsunade sat back in her chair. Her brows furrowed in contemplation. He had a point, it was time he came out and told them. Would they accept him? " I understand, get back in your henge."
Naruto did as told. Tsunade called in an ANBU. " I need you to round up the following shinobi and have them in my office ASAP. Haruno Sakura, Hyuuga Neji, Hyuuga Hinata, Rock Lee, Yamanaka Ino, Nara Shikamaru, Akimichi Chouji, Aburame Shino, Hatake Kakashi, and Umino Iruka. Was there anyone else you wanted to tell Naruto?"
" No" came the firm reply
" That is all." she nodded towards the ANBU, who vanished a moment later.
Naruto took a deep breath as he waited. A firm hand was placed on his shoulder for comfort. He looked over at the owner of said hand and gave a sad smile. A knock came at the door startling Naruto.
" Come in." Tsunade's voice boomed into the silent room.
In came the rest of rookie nine, their sensei, Rock Lee and Hyuuga Neji. Each gave a questioning look at Sasuke, Kiba and Naruto who remained silent. " Take a seat. There are a few things you all need to know." Naruto stood and went to the window staring out listlessly. Sasuke and Kiba walked up behind him talking in a low murmer so the others could not hear. After a moment Sasuke leaned against the wall, closing his eyes. Kiba just stood next to Naruto, they waited for Tsunade to begin. Tsunade gave a questioning look to Naruto who shook his head.
" What is this about Hokage-sama?" Kakashi asked suspiciously. He had seen the silent exchangeand his curiousity became piqued.
" This is about Kyuubi no Kitsune. You all know the story I'm sure. What is not commonly known is that the fourth did not kill Kyuubi. The demon was placed within a child." the room was silent as each took in the news. Some with a look of horror on their faces, some with outrage. The adults gave a quick glance at Naruto. They already knew this.
" I dont believe it, I hope they killed the demon." Sakura's voice coldly came. Naruto flinched almost unnoticable. Almost.
" Saukra, it wasent the babies fault." came the shy voice of Hinata.
" No, the child is still alive. And among us, correct Hokage-sama?" Neji had seen Naruto flinch and had a sneaking suspision.
" Correct. This person is willing to tell you who he is. And there is more to the story then even I knew. But you must be willing to listen. If you are going to disregard your friend on the account he has held the Kyuubi for the last 20 years in order to keep you safe, then you can leave this room." Tsunade pointedly looked at Sakura and Ino, both having disgusted looks on their faces.
" Its a demon. A monster. It should have been killed!" came Ino's outraged cry. Sakura nodding her head in agreement.
" Fine, you two may leave. Not a word is to be breathed to anyone else. It is a crime to speak to anyone, the punishment is death. This is Sarutobi's law. Am I understood?" They all nodded their heads. Ino and Sakura stood and left.
" I should have known" came a whisper from Naruto. Sasuke pushed himself from the wall and laid a comforting hand on his shoulder.
" They werent your real friends Naruto, if they couldnt accept you for you." came his gruff, whispered reply. Neji and Shikamaru were watching the exchange.
" Naruto, you are the demon vessel arent you?" came Shikamaru's bored voice.
" Hai. Like Tsunade said there is more to the story than what people know." Taking a deep breath and a quick glance at Kiba and Sasuke both giving reassuring nods. He plowed ahead trying to get it over with as quickly as possible. " My father was the fourth Hokage, Uzamaki Arashi. My mother was Natami no Kitsune, she was the sister of Kyuubi." he watched everyone's surprised reaction. Even Neji and Shino's stoic expressions were gone. " Hai, I really am a demon. But only half." He let go of his henge to reveal his true form. His tails swaying nervously behind him, his ears layed back on his head. " My ojisan attacked because he was pissed about his sister taking on a human mate. He regrets his actions now, but that still doesnt change what he has done."
" Wait you talk to him?" came Kakashi's incredulous voice.
" Hai, father desinged the seal that way. He knew that I would need ojisan's guidance because of my demon half. I have abilites that I would not have been able to control otherwise. I found this all out on my fourteeth birthday when the change happened."
" Well it still doesnt change who you are Naruto. Its not like you went crazy and went on a rampage like your uncle did. Its a funny thought really." came Lee's chipper reply. None were to sure what to say.
" Why are you telling us this now and not before?" Shino asked curiously.
" Lately I have been getting long term missions with a few of you. And to be honest I hate that human form. I love my tails and ears. Plus using henge I am unable to use my hightened senses, my bloodline limit, my demon abilities and it makes my chakra control suck." he scratched the back of his head as all eyes turned to him at the mention of his bloodline limit. 'Oops. I forgot they didnt know about father's blood line limit. Oh well, was going to show them later anyway' Kyuubi chuckled in his mind.
" Arashi never had a bloodline limit." Tsunade stated flatly.
" Yes he did. Its umm, a very.. err.. its powerful. Its the reason for the Uzamaki massacre, the reason why no one here has ever heard of the Uzamaki clan. We arent orginally from Konoha. Father was the sole survivor, he was able to escape to Fire country with the help of a kitsune. Thats how my father met my mother actually. She was just a kit at the time, but her mother had help my father. Father had always been thankful for them saving him and brining him to Konoha. My mother was very curious about him, so kept contact. Of course Kyuubi was very unhappy about it. Anyway father's origins are from Rock country, the bloodline limit is called Tenpi-heki"
" Sun burst, what kind of limit is that?" Kiba asked.
" Well it isnt named for what it can do, just what it looks like. So far I am able to see great distances and read chakra patterns.. I think it is similar to Byakugen. I just recently acquired it, so I cant be to sure what to expect from it. The only way to find out more is if I can get the scrolls from Hidden Rock Village." he scratches his head nervously as he looked around the room at the shocked faces. 'Guess its a good thing I didnt tell them about the ability to see into the mind.'
Kyuubi chuckles, " Probably. By the way, are you going to tell them who I really am?"
'Um, no. I think I have shocked them enough for one day.'
" Hm, maybe when you come back from your mission I will send you and a few others to recover them. How do you know they exist?"
" I know. I've seen them actually. When I was with ero-sannin we happened to travel a little in rock country. We stopped at the village for a while and I happened to over hear someone mentioning the Uzamaki massacre when they saw me. Apparently the clan is very recognizable by the blonde hair and blue eyes." he shrugged his shoulders. " Anyway I had the chance to take a glance at a few of the scrolls when I told them my name. I would have taken them with me but I was afraid I would lose them along our journey."
" Does Jiraya know?"
" Hai, he has always known. He knew my father and mother both. After I found out about them I asked him. He was slightly surprised about my apperance. He taught me how to use a henge that would fool almost anyone, including a Byakugen and the Sharingan user."
" Thats why I couldn't see through it." Sasuke whispered.
" Hai, I didn't want anyone to know until I was ready. And with the missions I have been taking it came a bit imperative that I finally reveal myself." Naruto waited with bated breath as his friends took in all that he told them.
" Are there any other secrets we should know about?" came Iruka's amused voice. Though he was a bit surprised by the news, he still felt the same about Naruto.
Naruto cocked a grin and stated rather dryly, " Of course, cant let all my cats out of the bag at once now can I?"
The tension was broken as everyone laughed. Well except for Sasuke and Neji who only smirked.
" So are you guys, like, okay with this and all?" Naruto asked hesitently
" Naruto you arent planning to pull a Kyuubi on us are you? Going on some rampage or anything like that right?" Choji half jokenly asked.
" Of course not!" Naruto huffed indigently.
" Then I'm okay with it. I mean your still you. And its not like you have ever done anything to provoke suspision. Well other than keep a secret but Kami knows we all do that." It was Shikamaru's turn to speak up. Everyone else nodded their heads in agreement.
Naruto let out a shuddering breath he had been holding. He hesitently looked around the room. He was surprised to see the acceptance on each face. For the first time, Naruto smiled a real, genuine smile. A moment later he frowned. " Sakura and Ino.." He had a feeling they wouldnt be accepting. It was a good thing they didnt know who the Kyuubi vessel was. " I think its best not to mention this to anyone outside of this room. Especially Sakura and Ino."
" Naruto, from now on I will make sure you are assigned with someone in this room when going on missions. Your mission that is comming up, will you not be heading near rock to pick up the client?" Tsunada tapped her finger to her chin in thought.
" Now that you mention it, I believe so. And if that is the case I'm sure I can take a few days and head to Rock and get the scrolls." Naruto thought a moment, ' Ojisan I will leave that to you. You can henge as me and bring the scrolls back to my apartment to keep them safe. That way no one but you and me can see them. As much as I trust these people, I'm afraid of what would happen if they learned all the family secrets.'
" I understand kit. If you want I can head that way now, I could probably get them for you. That way it wouldnt take up as much time."
' That sounds like an idea. I will just tell them Im leaving you behind in my apartment since you are still in training.'
" Works for me kit, see you in a few days?"
" NARUTO!" Kiba yelled exasperated. They had been trying to get his attention for the last few minutes
Naruto scratched the back of his head with a lopsided grin. "Sorry, ojisan was asking me something." he giggled nervously. He noticed that everyone had been dismissed. The only ones still in the room were Sasuke, Kiba, himself and Tsunada
" Oh, what did he want?" Tsunada asked curiosly.
" Wanted to know what I am going to do about mating season. Its coming up while we are away and I need to deal with my incoming heat." he grinned wickedly.
" Oh.. thats bad isnt it?"
" Not really, there arent many demons left. And there are none where we are going so I should be fine. I just have to control my libido is all" he chuckled at the bugged out eyes of his team mates and leader. " I have gone through five cylces already. I can control myself. Just dont mind the moaning and sweating when it comes time. Though mating season itself lasts for about a month for those like me our heats only last a week. It comes the last week of mating season, so no worries."
" Why the last week, and what do you mean others like you?" Kiba asked.
" Well.. err that is to say.. umm I can bear kits." he said under his breath hoping no one had heard. He hadn't been very happy when he found out about it during his first heat. Even Kyuubi had been surprised that he had inherited the ability. Usually half breeds weren't strong enough to be carriers.
" Im sorry, I dont think I heard right. Did you say you can get pregnant?" Sasuke asked incredulously.
" Hai thats what I said. Usually Hanyou arent strong enough to, but I seem to be the exception to that rule. Most kitsune males are able to bear kits. The reason is females are very rare, so males had to adopt the ability or the race was doomed to perish. Not a very comforting thought. Ojisan thinks because he and mother happened to be the last of our kind I had inherited the ability. So not only do I carry the last of my bloodline limit I also carry the last of the kitsune race. " Naruto let out a ragged sigh. Though Kyuubi was free, his mate had perished during child birth, and kitsune's mated for life. The babe, sadly, was a still born. " As for the reason of the last week its simple. Since we go into heat for only a week we need a chance to find a mate. Sometimes it takes demons awhile to find one another. Its not like we have villages, well most dont anyway. So they have to find each other. Because of this, heat cycles are at the end of said mating season. Each demon kind has a different time for their mating season. Mine starts at the beginning of the next month, actually all canine demons start then. Canine as in inu, kitsune and ookami." Naruto stated in a mater of fact tone. He remembered talking about all of this with Kyuubi when his first heat came. " Anyway, Im really tired. Sasuke, I will meet you guys at your house kay? I will even cook dinner again if you want, was thinking maybe yakisoba for dinner, sound good?"
" Hai that sounds good. I'm going to head to the training grounds."
" I'll go too, we could work on our teamwork a little I guess." Kiba spoke up.
" Hn. Whatever."
Tsunade watched on with amusement. She was a bit surprised by Naruto's offer to cook something other than instant ramen but didnt say much about it.
The three boys left her office, leaving her to contemplate the days events.

I wanted to thank everyone for their wonderful reviews. Im glad that you guys are enjoying the story so far. I have to say that this chapter isnt everything I had hoped it would be, but oh well. I can only rewrite it so many times before my hands fall off and my muses attempt to kill me... Hmm it seems alot of people are going for either Kiba/Naruto or the threesome.
As far as my spelling errors and such go, well unfortunatly everything is done by hand. I dont have a spell checker on my computer so I have to go through my story several times in order to correct my mistakes. I do it all myself, and because Im human ( Naruto: Are you sure your human? Chrys: umm well Im not totally sure.. for now we will just say I am. Kay? ^_~) I tend to make mistakes, and make errors please be understanding of that. Onigiri are rice balls made of cooked rice and usually wrapped with a nori seaweed. They are slightly salted and often contain some additional food in the center, for example an umeboshi (pickled Japanese apricot), katsuobushi (dried bonito shavings), tuna or salmon.
Yakizakana means grilled fish. Many varieties of fish are enjoyed in this way.
Yakisoba are fried or deep fried Chinese style noodles served with vegetables, meat and ginger.
Yakitori are grilled chicken pieces on skewers. Most parts of the chicken can be used for yakitori.
Miso soup is often served as a side dish for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is made by dissolving miso paste in hot water and adding additional ingredients such as wakame seaweed and small pieces of tofu.

The sun was slowly setting, casting its parting rays across the darkening sky. In a field, three boys laid on the ground panting for air, slightly bloody and bruised from their previous activites. Their training had gone a lot better than any of them expected. Kiba could tell that the kits were better trained than Naruto had led them to believe, the only thing that Naruto and the foxes lacked is team work skills which would come with time. He was actually rather impressed with their abilities to follow Naruto's silent orders.
" Well Im starving. You guys wanna go for dinner?" Naruto asked
" As long as its not ramen." Sasuke deadpanned.
" Yeah no ramen Naruto.. that stuff is disgusting! Wanna go to the Barbecue Hut?" Kiba grunted his response.
"Sheesh, I like ramen but I dont ALWAYS eat it. I was thinking of going to my apartment and cooking up something. Maybe onigiri or yakitori." Naruto shrugged his mouth slightly watering at the thought of yakizakana, rice and some miso soup..mmm..." actually I have an idea what I wanna make."
" And what would that be. I'm surprised you know how to cook at all." came Sasuke's teasing voice
" Hmpf, shows how well you know me doesnt it? I've lived alone my entire life, did you honestly think that ramen was the only thing I ate? Anyway I'm thinking I'm gonna make yakizakana, rice and miso soup. Sound good to you guys?"
" Whatever, sounds fine to me. Did you need to pick anything up on the way to your place? Actually we should go to my house and camp out there for a week or so, its bigger. Hokage-sama did say we should learn each others habits and what not. What better way." Sasuke suggested thoughtfully. He really didn't like the idea of these morons in his home but they did need to learn to co-exist since they will be practically living together for six months or more. Sasuke gave a soft sigh. " Just dont burn down my kitchen" He smirked at Naruto who growled in return.
"Fine, I'm going to run home and grab my stuff. Should I bring the food I need or do you have it already at your house?"
"You better bring it. I havent gone shoping for this week yet. I've been to busy training. Kiba you know where I live right?"
"Iie, but I'm only a few doors down from Naruto so I will come with him" Kiba had moved from his parents house a year ago, moving into the apartments used by unmarried ninjas. Naruto had moved into them after a freak fire burned down his old apartment.
" Later," Sasuke stood up and ran off towards his house. He needed to prepare rooms for them.
Naruto and Kiba laid in the swaying grass staring up at the ever darkening sky. Naruto was deep in thought about the events of the day. He felt a bit tired from the emotions still coursing through him. It had been difficult revealing himself to just two of his friends, he still had more to talk to. ' Today went alot better than I thought, maybe I should tell the rest of my friends before I leave. What do you think ojisan?'
" I think thats up to you kit. You should tell them. I think it would make things easier on you, especially if you tell Hokage-sama. She would be able to pair you with people who know when you go on missions and order those who dont accept you to keep quiet. Though I believe that all of your friends will accept you.. well except that Haruno girl. She gives even me the creeps." a shiver ran down Kyuubi's back at the thought of Sakura, just something about that girl wasent right.
Naruto chuckled, ' I know what ya mean ojisan. Think I will tell them tomorrow. Should I tell baa-chan first or should I tell them all together.. no on second thought I'm going to go to baa-chan first. She needs to know, I should have told her sooner.'
" You better get going kit, you promised them dinner and you need to pack a few things for your stay. And remember to becareful, mating season isnt to far away and kami-sama knows how your two friends are going to react. I remember your first heat," kyuubi let out a loud laugh in remembrance," funniest thing I had ever seen."
Naruto shudder at the remembered time. He had been with Gaara in Suna on a mission when both he and Gaara had gone into heat. Though Gaara had no idea what was happening since he was human and it was his demon that was going into heat, Naruto knew and he wasent happy about it. He wasen't attracted to Gaara like that, though he did like guys. Gaara simply was not his type, but Gaara's heat had driven him crazy. He lost count on how many times he had to run to the bathroom to take care of his little, okay maybe not so little, problem before anyone noticed it. Kyuubi had thought it was hilarious and to this day still got on his nerves about it. What made this mating season, and subsequent heat, worse was the man he had a secret crush on was going to be on this mission with him. Leaving Naruto without a place to hide till the season was over. He thanked Kamisama that he only had to endure this torture once a year. " Yo Kiba, we need to get going. I promised dinner after all." Naruto fox grinned at his companion.
Both boys took to the trees, speeding off towards home.

Sasuke leaned on the door frame of his kitchen, amusement dancing playfully in his eyes as he watched the blond's ears twitching as he hummed tunelessly. Naruto had an apron on and was slightly swaying to his humming every once in a while a sung word, he barely noticed the other rooms occupant. " Are you just going to stand there and stare or are you going to go away so I can finish what Im doing in peace?" he continued in a sing song like voice.
" I think I will watch dobe. Your quite... entertaining. I didn't know you had a talent for singing." Naruto's slight singing had a comfort tone, and Sasuke found himself enraptured by it wanting to hear more. " Please dont stop on my account." a slight movement from behind him got his attention as Kiba entered the room with Akamaru.
" Im glad your both here, I wanted to ask you guys something. Umm..you see I decided that before we left I wanted to tell everyone. You know about being a kitsune hanyou. I plan to go to baa-chan in the morning and telling her first then having her call the others and telling them. I was kinda hoping that you guys would go with me when I told everyone." he mumbled. He hated to ask for anything, he had to much pride. .
" Hn" Sasuke grunted with a hint of irritation.
" Of course fox boy. I cant wait to see the others reactions." Kiba grinned imagining everyones reactions, then a serious look crossed his face, " Nartuo are you sure you really want to do this? I mean I can understand your tired of hiding and all, but you will still be in henge around the villagers wouldnt it be wiser not to expose yourself? I mean what if one of them freaks out and tells everyone in the village despite what Hokage-sama says?"
Naruto thought it was a very resonable question, one that he had asked himself on the way here. He really didnt want to risk it but he felt the need to share, he had kept this a seceret for the last six years. " I had thought about that, but the end result is worth the risk. I want to be able to be in my true form on my missions and baa-chan cant always pair me up with you two. No, its better to tell them now and give them a chance to accept or reject me. If they reject me, well there is always you two" he gave a wry grin. He was scared, but knowing that at least two people accepted him already helped ease some of his wariness of telling the others. Turning back to the stove and checking on the miso soup and rice he declared dinner ready. Sasuke quickly set the table up while Naruto brought out the finished food.
Sasuke and Kiba were very surprised at how good the food was, Naruto wasen't lying when he said he could cook. They ate in silence, each contemplating the day to come and Naruto's subsequent coming out.
Sasuke showed Kiba and Naruto to the guest rooms he had set up for them. Saying goodnight each went to their respective rooms for the night.

The silvery light from the full moon glowed through the open window as a warm light breeze played with the silken curtains. Naruto sat on the window sill looking up into the starry night. He was having trouble sleeping, memories assulting his already troubled mind.
Flash Back-
" Look there's the little monster!" A woman with long golden hair and a fierce anger twisting her normally gentle face glared hatefully at the little eight year old Naruto. "Demon" she spat hatefully. A small crowd began to form around the frightened child. He couldnt understand what was happening.
" I..Im not a demon" he barely squeaked. His fearful eyes darting at the aproaching adults.
" Yes you are, dont lie! You killed my brother demon." the tall woman spit on the child. A man with red hair laughed, roughly pushing the child down into the dirt of the ally.
" You deserve to die after what you have done!" another man yelled coming at the young Naruto with a kunai in hand. The crowd began beating on the child ruthlessly. A short time later, they left a barely breathing Naruto near a dumpster to die.
A man with silver, gravity defying hair came upon the broken form of the blond demon vessel. Silently cursing the villagers for their stupidity, he carefully scooped up the child and took him to the hospital.
End Flash Back
Naruto shudder slightly at the memory. It wasen't his only one. He had recieved many beatings just like that. He let out a soft sigh and decided a little singing was in order, maybe that would help him get rid of his depressing thoughts and memories. In a soft tone, Naruto began to sing.

Naruto let out a soft sigh, lying on his back with his hand over his forehead. That song always made him feel better, some how calming his inner turmoil. A few moments later he had fallen into a restless sleep.

" Hokage-sama I have something very important that I must discuss with you. It concerns Kyuubi." Naruto stated flately.
Tsunade started in surprise. Naruto had never called her by her formal title unless it was very important. Her brows furrowed as she realized he had talked about Kyuubi in front of Sasuke and Kiba. " Kiba and Sasuke you are dismissed. Naruto what .."
" No, I want them to stay. They already know everything. But there is something I havent told anyone until now and I think it is of importance that you know." Naruto cut her off calmly.
" WHAT!?" she yelled in surprise.
" Hai, I felt it was important for them to know. We are going on a mission that could take up to a year and with Akatsuki still after me, I had to tell them. They needed to be warned of the danger. Which brings me to the reason why I'm here. I want to tell the rest of my friends. I'm tired of lying to them and keeping secrets. Hokage-sama, I realize this may be difficult for you but I want you to hear me out. Do you know who my father is, and please answer truthfully because I already know." he gave her a stern look.
" Hai, I know who your father is. How did you find out?" her curiosity piqued.
" Kyuubi told me." a simple statment that left the room in total silence.
" I.. thats not possible."
" Oh it is, it is very possible. Do you know the reason why Kyuubi attacked?" he continued his questioning. He needed to know how much she knew.
" Of course not! No one can read the mind of a demon."
Naruto chuckled. " True, no one can read our minds. Would you like to SEE the reason why Kyuubi attacked?" his eyes flickered with amusement at her confused expression. He stood up, moving the chair slightly back. He looked to his other companions, Kiba had the goofiest grin Naruto had ever seen. Sasuke's eyes held amusement, though his facial features remained stoic. Naruto made quick hand signs, releasing his henge, revealing his hanyou form.
A gasp, then silence. Tsunade unsure of what to say. " I.. I dont understand. Did you and Kyuubi merge?" It was the only thing she could think of that could change his apperance so.
Naruto burst out laughing. " Hardly. This, baa-chan, is the real me. The reason for Kyuubi's attack. My father mated with his younger sister. Lets just say he wasen't very happy about the idea. He demanded father hand her over, he refused. The rest you know. Kyuubi is actually my uncle. I didn't find out untill after I was fourteen and the change began. I.. I decided it was time I told you. I'm tired of hiding my abilities, my blood line limit, who I am. Though I will stay in henge while in the village when I go on missions I want to be able to be in my true form. My senses are better in this form, and I can control my chakra better. I want to tell my friends, that way if you have missions for me that require me to have a partner you can choose one of them and I dont have to continue hiding in henge."
Tsunade sat back in her chair. Her brows furrowed in contemplation. He had a point, it was time he came out and told them. Would they accept him? " I understand, get back in your henge."
Naruto did as told. Tsunade called in an ANBU. " I need you to round up the following shinobi and have them in my office ASAP. Haruno Sakura, Hyuuga Neji, Hyuuga Hinata, Rock Lee, Yamanaka Ino, Nara Shikamaru, Akimichi Chouji, Aburame Shino, Hatake Kakashi, and Umino Iruka. Was there anyone else you wanted to tell Naruto?"
" No" came the firm reply
" That is all." she nodded towards the ANBU, who vanished a moment later.
Naruto took a deep breath as he waited. A firm hand was placed on his shoulder for comfort. He looked over at the owner of said hand and gave a sad smile. A knock came at the door startling Naruto.
" Come in." Tsunade's voice boomed into the silent room.
In came the rest of rookie nine, their sensei, Rock Lee and Hyuuga Neji. Each gave a questioning look at Sasuke, Kiba and Naruto who remained silent. " Take a seat. There are a few things you all need to know." Naruto stood and went to the window staring out listlessly. Sasuke and Kiba walked up behind him talking in a low murmer so the others could not hear. After a moment Sasuke leaned against the wall, closing his eyes. Kiba just stood next to Naruto, they waited for Tsunade to begin. Tsunade gave a questioning look to Naruto who shook his head.
" What is this about Hokage-sama?" Kakashi asked suspiciously. He had seen the silent exchangeand his curiousity became piqued.
" This is about Kyuubi no Kitsune. You all know the story I'm sure. What is not commonly known is that the fourth did not kill Kyuubi. The demon was placed within a child." the room was silent as each took in the news. Some with a look of horror on their faces, some with outrage. The adults gave a quick glance at Naruto. They already knew this.
" I dont believe it, I hope they killed the demon." Sakura's voice coldly came. Naruto flinched almost unnoticable. Almost.
" Saukra, it wasent the babies fault." came the shy voice of Hinata.
" No, the child is still alive. And among us, correct Hokage-sama?" Neji had seen Naruto flinch and had a sneaking suspision.
" Correct. This person is willing to tell you who he is. And there is more to the story then even I knew. But you must be willing to listen. If you are going to disregard your friend on the account he has held the Kyuubi for the last 20 years in order to keep you safe, then you can leave this room." Tsunade pointedly looked at Sakura and Ino, both having disgusted looks on their faces.
" Its a demon. A monster. It should have been killed!" came Ino's outraged cry. Sakura nodding her head in agreement.
" Fine, you two may leave. Not a word is to be breathed to anyone else. It is a crime to speak to anyone, the punishment is death. This is Sarutobi's law. Am I understood?" They all nodded their heads. Ino and Sakura stood and left.
" I should have known" came a whisper from Naruto. Sasuke pushed himself from the wall and laid a comforting hand on his shoulder.
" They werent your real friends Naruto, if they couldnt accept you for you." came his gruff, whispered reply. Neji and Shikamaru were watching the exchange.
" Naruto, you are the demon vessel arent you?" came Shikamaru's bored voice.
" Hai. Like Tsunade said there is more to the story than what people know." Taking a deep breath and a quick glance at Kiba and Sasuke both giving reassuring nods. He plowed ahead trying to get it over with as quickly as possible. " My father was the fourth Hokage, Uzamaki Arashi. My mother was Natami no Kitsune, she was the sister of Kyuubi." he watched everyone's surprised reaction. Even Neji and Shino's stoic expressions were gone. " Hai, I really am a demon. But only half." He let go of his henge to reveal his true form. His tails swaying nervously behind him, his ears layed back on his head. " My ojisan attacked because he was pissed about his sister taking on a human mate. He regrets his actions now, but that still doesnt change what he has done."
" Wait you talk to him?" came Kakashi's incredulous voice.
" Hai, father desinged the seal that way. He knew that I would need ojisan's guidance because of my demon half. I have abilites that I would not have been able to control otherwise. I found this all out on my fourteeth birthday when the change happened."
" Well it still doesnt change who you are Naruto. Its not like you went crazy and went on a rampage like your uncle did. Its a funny thought really." came Lee's chipper reply. None were to sure what to say.
" Why are you telling us this now and not before?" Shino asked curiously.
" Lately I have been getting long term missions with a few of you. And to be honest I hate that human form. I love my tails and ears. Plus using henge I am unable to use my hightened senses, my bloodline limit, my demon abilities and it makes my chakra control suck." he scratched the back of his head as all eyes turned to him at the mention of his bloodline limit. 'Oops. I forgot they didnt know about father's blood line limit. Oh well, was going to show them later anyway' Kyuubi chuckled in his mind.
" Arashi never had a bloodline limit." Tsunade stated flatly.
" Yes he did. Its umm, a very.. err.. its powerful. Its the reason for the Uzamaki massacre, the reason why no one here has ever heard of the Uzamaki clan. We arent orginally from Konoha. Father was the sole survivor, he was able to escape to Fire country with the help of a kitsune. Thats how my father met my mother actually. She was just a kit at the time, but her mother had help my father. Father had always been thankful for them saving him and brining him to Konoha. My mother was very curious about him, so kept contact. Of course Kyuubi was very unhappy about it. Anyway father's origins are from Rock country, the bloodline limit is called Tenpi-heki"
" Sun burst, what kind of limit is that?" Kiba asked.
" Well it isnt named for what it can do, just what it looks like. So far I am able to see great distances and read chakra patterns.. I think it is similar to Byakugen. I just recently acquired it, so I cant be to sure what to expect from it. The only way to find out more is if I can get the scrolls from Hidden Rock Village." he scratches his head nervously as he looked around the room at the shocked faces. 'Guess its a good thing I didnt tell them about the ability to see into the mind.'
Kyuubi chuckles, " Probably. By the way, are you going to tell them who I really am?"
'Um, no. I think I have shocked them enough for one day.'
" Hm, maybe when you come back from your mission I will send you and a few others to recover them. How do you know they exist?"
" I know. I've seen them actually. When I was with ero-sannin we happened to travel a little in rock country. We stopped at the village for a while and I happened to over hear someone mentioning the Uzamaki massacre when they saw me. Apparently the clan is very recognizable by the blonde hair and blue eyes." he shrugged his shoulders. " Anyway I had the chance to take a glance at a few of the scrolls when I told them my name. I would have taken them with me but I was afraid I would lose them along our journey."
" Does Jiraya know?"
" Hai, he has always known. He knew my father and mother both. After I found out about them I asked him. He was slightly surprised about my apperance. He taught me how to use a henge that would fool almost anyone, including a Byakugen and the Sharingan user."
" Thats why I couldn't see through it." Sasuke whispered.
" Hai, I didn't want anyone to know until I was ready. And with the missions I have been taking it came a bit imperative that I finally reveal myself." Naruto waited with bated breath as his friends took in all that he told them.
" Are there any other secrets we should know about?" came Iruka's amused voice. Though he was a bit surprised by the news, he still felt the same about Naruto.
Naruto cocked a grin and stated rather dryly, " Of course, cant let all my cats out of the bag at once now can I?"
The tension was broken as everyone laughed. Well except for Sasuke and Neji who only smirked.
" So are you guys, like, okay with this and all?" Naruto asked hesitently
" Naruto you arent planning to pull a Kyuubi on us are you? Going on some rampage or anything like that right?" Choji half jokenly asked.
" Of course not!" Naruto huffed indigently.
" Then I'm okay with it. I mean your still you. And its not like you have ever done anything to provoke suspision. Well other than keep a secret but Kami knows we all do that." It was Shikamaru's turn to speak up. Everyone else nodded their heads in agreement.
Naruto let out a shuddering breath he had been holding. He hesitently looked around the room. He was surprised to see the acceptance on each face. For the first time, Naruto smiled a real, genuine smile. A moment later he frowned. " Sakura and Ino.." He had a feeling they wouldnt be accepting. It was a good thing they didnt know who the Kyuubi vessel was. " I think its best not to mention this to anyone outside of this room. Especially Sakura and Ino."
" Naruto, from now on I will make sure you are assigned with someone in this room when going on missions. Your mission that is comming up, will you not be heading near rock to pick up the client?" Tsunada tapped her finger to her chin in thought.
" Now that you mention it, I believe so. And if that is the case I'm sure I can take a few days and head to Rock and get the scrolls." Naruto thought a moment, ' Ojisan I will leave that to you. You can henge as me and bring the scrolls back to my apartment to keep them safe. That way no one but you and me can see them. As much as I trust these people, I'm afraid of what would happen if they learned all the family secrets.'
" I understand kit. If you want I can head that way now, I could probably get them for you. That way it wouldnt take up as much time."
' That sounds like an idea. I will just tell them Im leaving you behind in my apartment since you are still in training.'
" Works for me kit, see you in a few days?"
" NARUTO!" Kiba yelled exasperated. They had been trying to get his attention for the last few minutes
Naruto scratched the back of his head with a lopsided grin. "Sorry, ojisan was asking me something." he giggled nervously. He noticed that everyone had been dismissed. The only ones still in the room were Sasuke, Kiba, himself and Tsunada
" Oh, what did he want?" Tsunada asked curiosly.
" Wanted to know what I am going to do about mating season. Its coming up while we are away and I need to deal with my incoming heat." he grinned wickedly.
" Oh.. thats bad isnt it?"
" Not really, there arent many demons left. And there are none where we are going so I should be fine. I just have to control my libido is all" he chuckled at the bugged out eyes of his team mates and leader. " I have gone through five cylces already. I can control myself. Just dont mind the moaning and sweating when it comes time. Though mating season itself lasts for about a month for those like me our heats only last a week. It comes the last week of mating season, so no worries."
" Why the last week, and what do you mean others like you?" Kiba asked.
" Well.. err that is to say.. umm I can bear kits." he said under his breath hoping no one had heard. He hadn't been very happy when he found out about it during his first heat. Even Kyuubi had been surprised that he had inherited the ability. Usually half breeds weren't strong enough to be carriers.
" Im sorry, I dont think I heard right. Did you say you can get pregnant?" Sasuke asked incredulously.
" Hai thats what I said. Usually Hanyou arent strong enough to, but I seem to be the exception to that rule. Most kitsune males are able to bear kits. The reason is females are very rare, so males had to adopt the ability or the race was doomed to perish. Not a very comforting thought. Ojisan thinks because he and mother happened to be the last of our kind I had inherited the ability. So not only do I carry the last of my bloodline limit I also carry the last of the kitsune race. " Naruto let out a ragged sigh. Though Kyuubi was free, his mate had perished during child birth, and kitsune's mated for life. The babe, sadly, was a still born. " As for the reason of the last week its simple. Since we go into heat for only a week we need a chance to find a mate. Sometimes it takes demons awhile to find one another. Its not like we have villages, well most dont anyway. So they have to find each other. Because of this, heat cycles are at the end of said mating season. Each demon kind has a different time for their mating season. Mine starts at the beginning of the next month, actually all canine demons start then. Canine as in inu, kitsune and ookami." Naruto stated in a mater of fact tone. He remembered talking about all of this with Kyuubi when his first heat came. " Anyway, Im really tired. Sasuke, I will meet you guys at your house kay? I will even cook dinner again if you want, was thinking maybe yakisoba for dinner, sound good?"
" Hai that sounds good. I'm going to head to the training grounds."
" I'll go too, we could work on our teamwork a little I guess." Kiba spoke up.
" Hn. Whatever."
Tsunade watched on with amusement. She was a bit surprised by Naruto's offer to cook something other than instant ramen but didnt say much about it.
The three boys left her office, leaving her to contemplate the days events.

I wanted to thank everyone for their wonderful reviews. Im glad that you guys are enjoying the story so far. I have to say that this chapter isnt everything I had hoped it would be, but oh well. I can only rewrite it so many times before my hands fall off and my muses attempt to kill me... Hmm it seems alot of people are going for either Kiba/Naruto or the threesome.
As far as my spelling errors and such go, well unfortunatly everything is done by hand. I dont have a spell checker on my computer so I have to go through my story several times in order to correct my mistakes. I do it all myself, and because Im human ( Naruto: Are you sure your human? Chrys: umm well Im not totally sure.. for now we will just say I am. Kay? ^_~) I tend to make mistakes, and make errors please be understanding of that. I will do my very best to correct them, but I'm not perfect.

Onigiri are rice balls made of cooked rice and usually wrapped with a nori seaweed. They are slightly salted and often contain some additional food in the center, for example an umeboshi (pickled Japanese apricot), katsuobushi (dried bonito shavings), tuna or salmon.
Yakizakana means grilled fish. Many varieties of fish are enjoyed in this way.
Yakisoba are fried or deep fried Chinese style noodles served with vegetables, meat and ginger.
Yakitori are grilled chicken pieces on skewers. Most parts of the chicken can be used for yakitori.
Miso soup is often served as a side dish for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is made by dissolving miso paste in hot water and adding additional ingredients such as wakame seaweed and small pieces of tofu.
