Naruto awoke before dawn. Stretching in his bed he looked out the window at the fading stars. He hadn't slept very well the night before, a sense of forboding tainting his normally dreamless sleep. A flash of hair, the faint scent of blood, the faint echos of pain he had never experienced before, and the ringing of screams left in his ear. He dearly wished he could remember what he was dreaming. It wasent one of past happenings, it was more of a fortelling of future events and it scared him shitless. " Shit, this is going to be a rough mission" he muttered to himself. Swinging his legs over the bed he got up and went to his closet, scratching lightly on his sensitve fox ears.
Putting on a black form fitting shirt and a pair of black shorts that went to just below his knees. He strapped his shuriken holder to his leg, and put his backpack on. He decided today that he wouldnt hide his clothes, just his ears and tails. He quickly did the henge and then lifted Yuki-chan to his shoulder where she rubbed her head agaisnt his cheek in a sign of affection making him giggle. " Your excited arent ya Yuki-chan? Your very first mission. I wonder how ojisan is doing."
Yuki-chan made a sound similiar to a purr in answer. Naruto laughed at the kits antics as she continued to rub against him.
" Lets get going Yuki-chan. Sasuke and Kiba said they would meet us at the gate. The last thing I need to be dealing with after a night like last night is a PMSing Sasuke." he grumbled.
Taking to the rooftops, with Yuki-chan still on his shoulder he followed the familiar chakra's that were waiting at the gate for him.
'Hey ojisan did you make it to Rock yet?' Naruto asked curiously to his mind companion.
" No kit. I'm fast but I'm not that quick. I'm about halfway there. I ran into some trouble, but wasent anything I couldn't handle. You may want to be careful on your way here, though. Apparently Itachi and his pet shark found out about your mission and are on the prowl nearby. Luckily I skirted around them without their notice. Its good being a demon." he said smugly
'I figured as much, but I didnt expect them to find out this soon. Oh well it cant be helped now. I should probably warn my other two teammates. We decided to leave a day earlier. They wanted me to have more of a chance to get the scrolls.' Naruto grinned.
"Heh, well just gives you a day to study them wont it? What will you tell them, they will want to know how you know that Itachi knows already."
' Thats easy, I will just say a little fox told me' he replyed cockily, ' I want to look over the one for the bloodline limit. Think I may keep that one and the one with the family special jutsus on me. That way I can go through it, study them and have time to practice it for when we get back. I plan to go for the ANBU when I get back. Baa-chan promised I could take the exam.'
" Though that sounds good, I dont think its a good idea. What will happen if one of your enemies get a hold of it? Or if one of your allies do? Though I know you want to share your abilities it is best it is kept a secret from even them. They know of the limit that is all that is required. I can keep the scrolls with me, and when you are ready to read them you can call to me. We can meet somewhere away from the camp where you can study them without being bothered, and I can keep guard from intuders. I think that is the best way. Those scrolls will hold many of your family secrets and they must remain that way kit." Kyuubi lectured in his stern gruff voice. He hated to do it, his kit was smart. But sometimes he was just a little to naive when it came to things like this.
' Hai, I agree. It sounds like a good idea. If Itachi should attack would the two of us be able to handle ourselves though?'
" Not to be arroggant, but I am a great demon, brat!" Kyuubi huffed with amusement.

" Huh? Oh sorry, did you say something?" Naruto blinked back to reality. He had been thinking about how to tell Sasuke and Kiba about Itachi that he hadn't noticed them talking to him. "Sorry was thinking.. umm I got a report that Itachi knows about our mission and could be on the prowl in our area. We need to be extra careful." he had decided to be blunt about it.
Sasuke tensed for a moment. " Are you sure? How do you know?" his eyes narrowed in question while his fingers were itching for it to be true. This could be his chance for sweet revenge.
"Lets just say a little fox told me and leave it at that." he let a fox grin grace his features while inwardly chucking at Kyuubi's inner growl. ' I told you I was going to tell them that ojisan'
Sasuke shook his head in amusement. " Lets go dobe."
" SHUT UP TEME!" Naruto screamed in irritation. " Man I cant wait to get out of this damn henge" he muttered under his breath.
" Hn."
" Lets stop wasting time and get going." Kiba complained.
They lept into the trees leaving the village in their dust.

It was mid day and the sun was beating down on them as they raced through the forest. They were nearing Rock countries borders when Naruto felt a familiar chakra. "Wait guys. I sense something." Looking around and sniffing the air lightly he caught whiff of a familiar scent. Quickly he activated his eyes, " Tenpi-Heki" he whispered. Sasuke watched as his eyes changed from their beautiful cerulean blue to a bright gold, his pupils going from black to golden red shaped like the sun. Now he understood where the name came from. "Well shit, we have company comming. Looks like Gaara and his siblings with a few guards. Wonder what they are doing way out here." he inwardly cursed. Now he understood the scent he smelled and he wasent happy about it.
" Are they headed our way specifically?" Kiba asked
"Hai, looks like it. Shukaku must have sensed me and told Gaara." he muttered the last part under his breath. Gaara was the only one outside of his friends that knew, and only because of the loud mouthed Shukaku that was sealed within him knew. Demons, had the ability to sense other demons. He dropped his henge, realizing it wasent worth it. "Might as well wait for them. Lets set up for lunch, Im starving anyway!"
" Your always hungery idiot." Sasuke mumbled.
"BASTARD WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!" Naruto's sensitve ears heard what he had said, he just wanted to irritate Sasuke.
"Nothing, go fetch the firewood, Kiba can hunt down something to eat. I will set up everything else here." Sasuke stated calmly.
"Whatever, come on Yuki-chan. You can hunt down your lunch while I fetch the wood." Yuki-chan let out a low mewl in response. Naruto sauntered off into the woods, his tails slightly swaying behind him.
Sasuke rolled his eyes at the display before going about his own task. He gathered the cooking supplies and a few rocks. Clearing a small area, he placed the rocks he gathered into the shape of a ring. He sat on the sun warmed earth and waited for the others to return. He idly wondered how long the sand siblings would take to get to their location, a low growl slipped when he thought of Gaara.
Kiba and Akamaru were able to hunt down three small rabbits. He found a small stream not far away where he skinned and cleaned his catch. Once done he headed towards the temporary campsite.
"Hey Sasuke, found us rabbits for lunch." Kiba called out.
Sasuke didnt answer, he felt five chakra's closing in on them. "I think they are here." he stated flatly. At that moment Naruto appeared carring wood, the white fox kit was happily prancing beside him. Kiba could have sworn he saw a smug grin on the fox kits face.
"Welcome Gaara, no need to mask yourselves. What brings you out this way?" Naruto's deep voiced boomed into the woods. Sasuke let an irritated snort slip, really how much of an idot could Naruto be?
" I see you have finally taken one of your masks off Naruto" Gaara's emotionless voice rang into the clearing as they stepped through the ring of trees. He nodded to the other two then turned back to Naruto who was standing with his arms crossed and impassive eyes staring intently at him. A slight shiver ran down Gaara's back, he could see the assesing eyes boring into his own emotionless ones. " We are headed for Konoha, Kage business. We just came from Grass country, I sensed you near and thought I should warn you."
"Warn us about what?" Sasuke's eyes narrowed in question.
" A weasel and shark are nearby." He glared at Sasuke, as he spoke to Naruto.
"Shit, how close are they?"
" They are a few days away from here." Gaara looked at Naruto in thought, unsure if he should mention what he had overheard. Once he decided in a low monotone he spoke, staring emotionlessly into Naruto's impassive eyes," There is a spy among your friends Naruto, be wary of who you trust."
" WHAT?!" Kiba seethed, he didnt like Gaara after the whole chuunin exam thing. He couldnt understand how Naruto became friends with him. 'What the hell is creepy boy talking about?!'
"What are you talking about Gaara? Naruto's friends are loyal, everyone knows that." Though Sasuke mainly kept to himself, even he knew that Naruto's friends were fiercly loyal to him. Well except, then a thought struck him.. his eyes widening. " Un fucken believable.. " he whispered.
Gaara stared blankly at them, why should he answer them if they couldn't figure it out on their own. Not that it was very difficult in his opinion the little bitch was very obvious and he could tell that Naruto already knew, and Sasuke had just figured out who it was. Naruto's eyes had narrowed and turned from there normal warm cerluean to a shade of glacier blue. He had seen this in his friend before, and he was glad it wasen't directed at him. He hoped to never have those eyes directed at him again.
Sasuke had seen the change in Naruto's demeanor, his eyes narrowed and his brow furrowed. "Oi Naruto, you know who it is dont you?"
"Hn, I have a good idea of who it is. But its just speculation. Anyway, we should get this fire started and the food cooked so we can eat. I'm starving."
They sat in silence. Kiba stared at Naruto as said boy played with his fox kit. ' I never realized how beautiful he is. Wait.. what the hell am I thinking.' Kiba tried to shake the thought out of his head. He watched as Naruto's fox ears flicked back and forth at sounds only he could perceive. His three tails flicked in what seemed nervousness. ' I wonder what he is thinking about.'
'Shit, ojisan Shukaku is in heat and its driving me insane. That racoon bastard did this on purpose I just know it. He always liked to tease.' Naruto growled, startling his companions.
Kyuubi laughed heartily at the kits situation " Well I'm not to far away." came his cryptic voice.
"You alright Uzamaki?" Gaara said amused. He had an idea of what was wrong, and he found it quite funny.
"Nothing bastard." Naruto growled in reply. He could see the amusement dancing in Gaara's usually emotionless eyes, and it pissed him off. " I'm going to get some water. I will be back soon." He gave a meaningful glare at Gaara who stood to follow him.
Sasuke discreetly watched as both boys disappeared into the woods. He hadn't missed the exchange between them and wondered what was going on.

" Gaara, I want to talk to the tanuki." Naruto growled a bit angrily.
"Hn." A moment later and eyes that were once turquoise are now deep amber yellow.
"What do you want fox?" Shukaku said seductivly.
"Why the hell did you bring them here knowing you were in heat?" Naruto was pissed. Though the information that Gaara had brought was important, he knew the real reason why Shukaku sent him here. " That is not for you to decide. And you should know your place tanuki." A deep booming voice from the forest rang through out their clearing. Both froze stiffly at the recognized voice of Kyuubi. " Though I cannot mate with the brat, I can help with his heat." Kyuubi licked his lips suggestivly, leering at Shukaku. Kyuubi sauntered over to Gaara turned Shukaku, keeping his blazing gaze locked with that of cold stone. " Here kit this is what you wanted." He threw a bag over to Naruto who had amusement in his eyes.
"Hai, thank you ojisan. Have fun." He left the clearing, giggling at the predicment Shukaku got Gaara in.
"Now for you little tanuki." He ran a finger down Gaara's pale cheek. He could feel the sand that roughed the skin. "Drop the sand, Shukaku."
Shukaku glared at Kyuubi. He wanted the hanyou, not this fox. After a few moments his heat started to become unbearable standing under the lust filled gaze of Kyuubi's. He would just have to submit to the fox for now. He dropped the sand that surrounded his body and kept his glare even with amused eyes of the fox demon before him. "Im glad you find this amusing fox, just wait till your own heat." he mumbled
"Ah, but that is the difference. I was once mated, so my heat is all but non existent. I dont feel the need to go out and rut with every living thing I see, unlike you." Kyuubi smirked. At that moment Gaara returned glaring kunai, senbon, shuriken, daggers and any other sharp object he could think of at Naruto, who cringed a bit in return. " You should have told me sooner." came the cold voice
" I told you once before but you didnt listen. Now maybe you will believe me" Naruto huffed in annoyance. " Anyway did you have a nice time? Enjoy yourself?" he mocked. He was pissed, he had warned Gaara not even a month ago his heat was on its way. But did he listen.. of course not! He had to be a damn stubborn idiot about it.
Gaara growled in his throat and continued to glare at the annoying blond. " Temari, Kankuro lets go." They looked at each other then the red head but decided not to question him. They waved goodbye as they disappeared into the tree line.
After they left Kiba turned to Naruto with curiosity bright in his black eyes. " What the hell was that all about Naruto?"
Naruto glanced over at Kiba, his ears and tails twitching their annoyance. " Stupid Gaara's in heat. Well his demon is so it effects him as well. His demon has been trying to get me to mate with him, but I have no interest in him. I have my eyes on someone else."
Kiba gave him an oh face then turned back to the rabbits that were still cooking. Sasuke was glaring off at where the sand siblings had left. ' How dare he think he could take MY Naruto!' He blinked at that thought. ' What the hell! Since when do I think of the dobe as mine?!' Shaking the thoughts away he turned back to his other companions who were hungrily eating lunch.
After cleaning up the temporary campsite they left. All thinking of how strange this day had already started to be.

Well here is my first lemon for this story.. and my second time ever writing a lemon.. I hope I did alright.. It was kinda unexpected.. in other words it wrote itself into my story.. I wasent really thinking of having Gaara in it.. well Shukaku and Kyuubi scene like that anyway.. though I have to say I dont think I have ever seen a pairing like that...oh well LOL Anyway I'd like to thank you all for the wonderful and encouraging reviews, they encourage me to keep writing more ^_^

They lept into the trees leaving the village in their dust.

It was mid day and the sun was beating down on them as they raced through the forest. They were nearing Rock countries borders when Naruto felt a familiar chakra. "Wait guys. I sense something." Looking around and sniffing the air lightly he caught whiff of a familiar scent. Quickly he activated his eyes, " Tenpi-Heki" he whispered. Sasuke watched as his eyes changed from their beautiful cerulean blue to a bright gold, his pupils going from black to golden red shaped like the sun. Now he understood where the name came from. "Well shit, we have company comming. Looks like Gaara and his siblings with a few guards. Wonder what they are doing way out here." he inwardly cursed. Now he understood the scent he smelled and he wasent happy about it.
" Are they headed our way specifically?" Kiba asked
"Hai, looks like it. Shukaku must have sensed me and told Gaara." he muttered the last part under his breath. Gaara was the only one outside of his friends that knew, and only because of the loud mouthed Shukaku that was sealed within him knew. Demons, had the ability to sense other demons. He dropped his henge, realizing it wasent worth it. "Might as well wait for them. Lets set up for lunch, Im starving anyway!"
" Your always hungery idiot." Sasuke mumbled.
"BASTARD WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!" Naruto's sensitve ears heard what he had said, he just wanted to irritate Sasuke.
"Nothing, go fetch the firewood, Kiba can hunt down something to eat. I will set up everything else here." Sasuke stated calmly.
"Whatever, come on Yuki-chan. You can hunt down your lunch while I fetch the wood." Yuki-chan let out a low mewl in response. Naruto sauntered off into the woods, his tails slightly swaying behind him.
Sasuke rolled his eyes at the display before going about his own task. He gathered the cooking supplies and a few rocks. Clearing a small area, he placed the rocks he gathered into the shape of a ring. He sat on the sun warmed earth and waited for the others to return. He idly wondered how long the sand siblings would take to get to their location, a low growl slipped when he thought of Gaara.
Kiba and Akamaru were able to hunt down three small rabbits. He found a small stream not far away where he skinned and cleaned his catch. Once done he headed towards the temporary campsite.
"Hey Sasuke, found us rabbits for lunch." Kiba called out.
Sasuke didnt answer, he felt five chakra's closing in on them. "I think they are here." he stated flatly. At that moment Naruto appeared carring wood, the white fox kit was happily prancing beside him. Kiba could have sworn he saw a smug grin on the fox kits face.
"Welcome Gaara, no need to mask yourselves. What brings you out this way?" Naruto's deep voiced boomed into the woods. Sasuke let an irritated snort slip, really how much of an idot could Naruto be?
" I see you have finally taken one of your masks off Naruto" Gaara's emotionless voice rang into the clearing as they stepped through the ring of trees. He nodded to the other two then turned back to Naruto who was standing with his arms crossed and impassive eyes staring intently at him. A slight shiver ran down Gaara's back, he could see the assesing eyes boring into his own emotionless ones. " We are headed for Konoha, Kage business. We just came from Grass country, I sensed you near and thought I should warn you."
"Warn us about what?" Sasuke's eyes narrowed in question.
" A weasel and shark are nearby." He glared at Sasuke, as he spoke to Naruto.
"Shit, how close are they?"
" They are a few days away from here." Gaara looked at Naruto in thought, unsure if he should mention what he had overheard. Once he decided in a low monotone he spoke, staring emotionlessly into Naruto's impassive eyes," There is a spy among your friends Naruto, be wary of who you trust."
" WHAT?!" Kiba seethed, he didnt like Gaara after the whole chuunin exam thing. He couldnt understand how Naruto became friends with him. 'What the hell is creepy boy talking about?!'
"What are you talking about Gaara? Naruto's friends are loyal, everyone knows that." Though Sasuke mainly kept to himself, even he knew that Naruto's friends were fiercly loyal to him. Well except, then a thought struck him.. his eyes widening. " Un fucken believable.. " he whispered.
Gaara stared blankly at them, why should he answer them if they couldn't figure it out on their own. Not that it was very difficult in his opinion the little bitch was very obvious and he could tell that Naruto already knew, and Sasuke had just figured out who it was. Naruto's eyes had narrowed and turned from there normal warm cerluean to a shade of glacier blue. He had seen this in his friend before, and he was glad it wasen't directed at him. He hoped to never have those eyes directed at him again.
Sasuke had seen the change in Naruto's demeanor, his eyes narrowed and his brow furrowed. "Oi Naruto, you know who it is dont you?"
"Hn, I have a good idea of who it is. But its just speculation. Anyway, we should get this fire started and the food cooked so we can eat. I'm starving."
They sat in silence. Kiba stared at Naruto as said boy played with his fox kit. ' I never realized how beautiful he is. Wait.. what the hell am I thinking.' Kyuubi laughed heartily at the kits situation " Well I'm not to far away." came his cryptic voice.
"You alright Uzamaki?" Gaara said amused. He had an idea of what was wrong, and he found it quite funny.
"Nothing bastard." Naruto growled in reply. He could see the amusement dancing in Gaara's usually emotionless eyes, and it pissed him off. " I'm going to get some water. I will be back soon." He gave a meaningful glare at Gaara who stood to follow him.
Sasuke discreetly watched as both boys disappeared into the woods. He hadn't missed the exchange between them and wondered what was going on.

"Hn." A moment later and eyes that were once turquoise are now deep amber yellow.

" That is not for you to decide. And you should know your place tanuki." A deep booming voice from the forest rang through out their clearing. Both froze stiffly at the recognized voice of Kyuubi. " Though I cannot mate with the brat, I can help with his heat." Kyuubi licked his lips suggestivly, leering at Shukaku. Kyuubi sauntered over to Gaara turned Shukaku, keeping his blazing gaze locked with that of cold stone. " Here kit this is what you wanted." He threw a bag over to Naruto who had amusement in his eyes.
"Hai, thank you ojisan. Have fun." He left the clearing, giggling at the predicment Shukaku got Gaara in.
"Now for you little tanuki." He ran a finger down Gaara's pale cheek. He could feel the sand that roughed the skin. "Drop the sand, Shukaku."
Shukaku glared at Kyuubi. He wanted the hanyou, not this fox. After a few moments his heat started to become unbearable standing under the lust filled gaze of Kyuubi's. At that moment Gaara returned glaring kunai, senbon, shuriken, daggers and any other sharp object he could think of at Naruto, who cringed a bit in return. " You should have told me sooner." came the cold voice
" I told you once before but you didnt listen. Now maybe you will believe me" Naruto huffed in annoyance. " Anyway did you have a nice time? Enjoy yourself?" he mocked. He was pissed, he had warned Gaara not even a month ago his heat was on its way. But did he listen.. of course not! He had to be a damn stubborn idiot about it.
Gaara growled in his throat and continued to glare at the annoying blond. " Temari, Kankuro lets go." They looked at each other then the red head but decided not to question him. They waved goodbye as they disappeared into the tree line.
After they left Kiba turned to Naruto with curiosity bright in his black eyes. " What the hell was that all about Naruto?"
Naruto glanced over at Kiba, his ears and tails twitching their annoyance. " Stupid Gaara's in heat. Well his demon is so it effects him as well. His demon has been trying to get me to mate with him, but I have no interest in him. I have my eyes on someone else."
Kiba gave him an oh face then turned back to the rabbits that were still cooking. Sasuke was glaring off at where the sand siblings had left. ' How dare he think he could take MY Naruto!' He blinked at that thought. ' What the hell! Since when do I think of the dobe as mine?!' Shaking the thoughts away he turned back to his other companions who were hungrily eating lunch.
After cleaning up the temporary campsite they left. All thinking of how strange this day had already started to be.

Well here is my first lemon for this story.. and my second time ever writing a lemon.. I hope I did alright.. It was kinda unexpected.. in other words it wrote itself into my story..
