Summery: After two years without any word from Naruto, he immediately returns to Konoha, only to warn Sasuke and Sakura of the dangers that could destroy hidden leaf village. However, he fails to mention that he's the one ordered to do the destroying! Will Naruto give in? Is he even trustworthy anymore? What was he doing and where was he all that time? And what love will slowly begin to rekindle between two former enemies?

Hatred, emptiness, loneliness, these were his only friends, they kept him going, they fueled him. But at the same time confused him, these were the only things he had ever known; he was so familiar with them and yet every time he met with that stupid boy they would always change, morph into something had never grown to understand. From a Raven to a Dove.
He ran his fingers through his hair, groaning at the mental stress slowly building up at the back of the Uchiha's mind. Two years had passed since the blond haired boy had left the village in hopes of becoming stronger. The day was a blur; but he was grateful for it. Perhaps he wanted to forget why Naruto had left, hell, he didn't even know himself. It didn't matter to the majority of Konoha anyway; after all, they just saw Naruto as the host of a demon, and then, a demon himself.
Even though the Uchiha would never admit it, he would constantly fret over Naruto's rash decisions; his odd tendency to plunge into the murky waters of battle and not even stop to calculate what the best move would be. But somehow, all the battles he had so poorly calculated, seemed to always end up in victory. Sasuke would always feel a tinge of jealousy whenever this occurred.
And then, there was Sakura, the one that pined for his affection, approval and respect. At first he secretly thought she was annoying so he would always turn a blind eye at her polite gestures, or maybe even to have the common courtesy to ask him how his day was. He felt disgusted with himself, how could he have been so… Horrible…Wretched…He didn't deserve her as a friend, even though she wanted to be more to him, she never would be.
As much as she craved him, she also shared the same affection toward Naruto. At first, it was hardly noticeable; she would stop putting him down so much. Nothing too odd about that, their ages were around 14-15, plenty old enough to start treating each other with respect, perhaps, a little more? Unlike Naruto's absence, Sasuke remembered the day clearly. He could replay everything in his mind like a video, fast forward, pause, rewind…
A/N: My name is Megan and I thank you for choosing my fan fiction out of the thousands on this site! This story is a yaoi, very, very light yaoi. It is not, I repeat not a hentai, that stuff is nasty. So if you're a pervert then sorry to disappoint you. Since this is a yoai if you have any problems with that then please do not advance in the story any further…
So that takes care of all the important stuff…But wow! So many ideas are buzzing through my head like a busy bee hive! I'm so excited to continue this story! Please R&R Thank you!
