Grand Summoning Jutsu

"I have not come to hurt you" Sasukes voice deep and firm, at an attempt at comforting the crying girl. His hand still placed over her shoulder as her bright eyes stared up him with confusion. "you cry, your in pain?" he questioned.

She sniffed back with a quiver, this boy she remembered from the Dinner, he was here again. But how did she know she would be here? "I-..." She trailed off, his eyes were not like they were before, they were softer more concerned for her well being.

"He hurt you didn't he" his soft vocals filled her ears.

A slight nod came from her stunned gestures feeling the young man slide his hand farther around her back. "what are you..." She started slowly "doing...." Her eyes shyly fell to the sand. "please stop" her soft gentle voice pleaded.

"I'm not here to harm you" he repeated wrapping his other arm around her in a, sort of, forced hug.

"stop" she begged "please...." She shifted her body slightly jerking it from his grip. Despite what she had seen hours before, she still loved Gaara with all her heart, she was not going to be easily swayed from him. But her body was weak from running, her crying had taken much of her energy she could barely fight back.

Sasukes arms wrapped tighter around the girl, against her struggles pulling her into a tight embrace. He felt her plant both her hands on his chest to help push herself away from him.

"what do you want here" she cried out "the scroll has his name on it"

"I don't care about that, you are crying you need someone" he almost ground his teeth at his own words.

"no, you tried to kill me for it..." Her breathing became heavier as he held her in his strong grip.

"he broke your heart, did he not?" he questioned ignoring her comments. She stopped moving within his arms to her flash backs, she tipped her head father into his chest and her sobs began again, forgetting who he was and what he had once tried to do.

"I love him"

"but he betrayed you." a smirk fell over the boys lips

She said nothing in the hollow of the night, the sounds of her own breathing were loud in her ears. "why would he do that." her arms still fell open palmed on the sand still kneeling as his grip would not release her.

"perhaps he does not love you in return" his soft deep hurtful words filled her eyes with tears once more. Maybe he was right, that's why he was here with her now, to comfort her when Gaara did not.

the 3 siblings running through the desert, Gaara ahead of them seemed to move a bit faster then the others. His fists clenched and teeth pressed together in anger. "if it is Sasuke I'm going to kill him" he spat

"who was this girl?" Temari questioned

"I don't know, I have not seen her before." he followed "black hair, dark eyes, she didn't speak to me at all."

"Hitomi....." Temari almost gasped.

"who?"

"Hitomi is in Maya's history class" her heart sank at the thought, her friend was a complete mess, crying no doubt because of this silent girls foolish stunt.

"Don't worry Gaara, we will find her." Kankuro lifted his head to his little brother. As they followed the tracks they had spotted in the depths of the sand made by her, they changed from her tiny footprints to a mess of sand where she hand changed into the Rock god when he summoned her.

"Maya.." He thought back to her, always reading that stupid book of hers. ~'I like that romantic stuff'~ her voice echoed in his head. "the beach...." He breathed.

"you know where she is." Temari answered him

"I have a really good Idea" as his pace picked up.

Hitomi landed on a branch high above over looking Sasuke and Maya, her eyes narrowed at the sight of the two as the shelter of the tress stealth her cover. He Held her once lake that in her form, she was the reason he never looked at her the way she wanted. Her dark eyes now fell to the conversation he was having with the sobbing girl.

"I will be here with you" he spoke

"no..." She struggled more and freed herself from him, finally. She pushed herself from the sand and tried to run from him. His large strong hand found itself around her wrist holding her.

"I'm sick of this shit" he spat, watching the girl turn nervously over her shoulder at the crouching boy. "I've done enough waiting for this, it's my turn now" he stood to his full height before her before he spoke again. "your song wont save you this time."

Her eyes widened as his eyes began to change to a bright red, 3 tear dropped shapes circled his pupil and his firm voice "Sharingan"

Her irises contracted her breath nearly stopped. That feeling, she felt it once before, strong and painful. Releasing herself from his hand she dropped to her knees covering her ears burring her face low towards the ground. In heavy heaves she her small voice could not form anymore words. ~oh know, it was him! That time at the Exams....~ her body was unable to move as she sat crouched over rocking back and forth in fear.

"now you will obey me." he started bluntly making his way standing over her quivering body.

"There" Kankuro breathed, seeing the back side of Sasuke standing in full view of the light of the blue moon. The 3 stopped on a tree branch and remained undetected.

"I don't see her" Temari found her blue eyes scanning over the beach looking for her friend. "no..." The woman that gave her brothers life back to him, the one that showed him love when no one else would. Where is she? Her friend?

Gaara loosing his patients leaped from the tree his feet landing deep into the sand a distance away from the Dark haired boy. His emotions took over, he needed to find her. But where was she.

"WHERE IS SHE" he yelled.

"now now, she has not yet come to terms with how she feels about you, now." he smirked watching the red head's sand collect around his skin making a layer of protection. "you are getting hastie" Sasuke moved slightly to one side revealing the slumped figure of Maya leaning against his legs, her eyes wide with fear and rocking back and forth.

He had seen her this way once before, the Exams. It was him behind that mask after her. "why don't you just give up" he spoke with anger "I already have the scroll in my name"

"she can break it, with her own will. If given enough reason to." he cut him off. "she will do it now, wont you?" his red eyes shifted to the frightened girl now pushing herself from the sand in a zombie like move.

"MAYA!" Gaara yelled, the feeling in his chest was different from before, she was in pain and he could not prevent it, in fact he was the direct cause of it. "please.... Listen to me..."

"it's too late" Sasuke laughed deep in his chest watching the small girl take one stumbling step after another towards the kage. Stopping about half way he reached her hand out to him opening her palm. The scroll from under his jacket began to tug under her unseen force.

Temari and Kankuro leaped from the branches of the forest beside their brother, he was now looking down at where the scroll was beginning to lift from under his coat. Hitomi decided to do the same to protect her master, in one swift move her feet planted deep into the soft grains of the sand slightly behind Maya.

With a slight turn Maya glazed over the noises behind her to see her. The girl she say kissing her husband, she was protecting Sasuke. Hitomi was with him all the time."you....." Her voice airy staring at the silent girl then back to her Husband, now, glaring the woman down. "then... It's..."

"IDIOT!" Sasuke spat at Hitomi

"I was not betrayed....I Was tricked" her voice became more like her normal tone, her hand fell to her sides, his Sharingan was subsiding the irrational fear she had of him in realization. Her family stand before her, they had come to save her. "Gaara...."

With a swift move Temari had disappeared from her younger brothers side. The two boy's eyes fell to the puff of smoke to where she had vanished.

Maya's eyes widened at the sound of cutting flesh from behind her. She turned swiftly to find Temari, her blue eyes wide and mouth open, blood trickling down the corners. "NO!" Maya lifted her arms around her, as her blond friend spit up blood in her face.

Hitomi had recoiled her Kunai from the dieing girls back and let them both fall to their knees into the sand.

"TEAMARI!" Gaara ran to her said listening to his sister gasp for air.

"FUCKER" Kankuro pulled the 3 scrolls from his back and laid them out. He summoned the power of his three puppets. But before he could do anything Gaara's strong voice echoed. He had enough of this and it with their turn to pay for what the had done.

"DESERT AVALANCHE!" she put his fingers together in a jutsu sign. The ground began to shake tremendously under them, Maya clung to Temari as best she could shielding her from the rising minerals erupting from the ground in a giant wave. Hitomi and Sasuke found themselves leaping backwards for the lives, but proved to be too fast, Gaara of the Desert had used his sand to drown them and mostly everything in a large radius in a sea of sand. Placing his hands down flat the dust flew up from the force

"Desert Imperial Funeral" a pulsating wave of chakra came from his hands, the shock waves crushing anything and everything within it. The live within the avalanche that once lived was now gone he could feel the energy slip to a nil. He had killed both aggressors in a fit of rage, revenge for with that had done.

Maya griped to Temari crying "why did you do that?" she cried, Gaara sliding across the sand next to them, Kankuro on the other looking over at his sister spitting up blood. Gaara reached around and took his sister in his arms.

The blonds eyes darted slowly between the three, unable to speak a word for she was gasping for breath. She felt her energy slipping, her breath becoming harder to take in her light headiness became overwhelming. She was Dieing.

"no...." Maya breathed in closing her eyes. A flash of brilliant white light in her mind took her to the deepest depths of her own subconscious.

She stood in a white room, almost blinding from it's brightness. She, herself was dress in a white robe to match the room a hood fell over her head, her piercing eyes wide awaiting for what was to come.
