After all that had happened at Konaha hadn't been forgotten but it hasn't been mentioned at the Akatsuki ever since it happened. Akina was still at the Akatsuki and was under Yaku's jurisdiction.

 

AT THE AKATSUKI INTEROGATION ROOM

 

“Akina, TALK!” Yaku yelled not getting mad

“Yaku I haven't spoken a word about Team 7 yet and it's been three days, what make's you think I'll speak now?” Akina asked as stubborn as ever

“Dang you Akina I have half the right mind to kill you now you little %#*^#$&^&%&^$&^&$^” Yaku cursed as Itachi held his hand tightly around her mouth

“Well if I'm as stubborn as ever then you're as loud as ever!” Akina said laughing at her own joke

“You know what I don't need this!” Yaku said as she stormed out of the room and then returned with her own katana Hoshikoto which means star harp, and went up to Akina and held it out to her neck “Talk now Akina or you die!”

“You can't kill me; I know the leader wants me to help you guys with Team 7.” Akina said to proudly

“Hm, Akina I have an idea.” Yaku said as she raised her katana up in the air

“You're bluffing!” Akina said

“Am I, I don't think so.” Yaku aid as she swung Hoshikoto with power and grace and deeply cut Akina's arm “Talk!”

“Yaku!?!” Akina said confused that her best friend had actually hurt her by her own intentions

“Fine then, I guess more blood will be spilled then.” Yaku stated as she raised her katana as she prepared to attack again

“Ok fine, Team 7 is going to go to the Chunin exams in 2 weeks.” Akina said exasperated then let her head hand in shame at the fact that she had just let information slip about her own pupils, friends , and little brother.

“Itachi take her back to her jail cell!” Yaku ordered to Itachi

“Yaku shouldn't I get a room now, I spilled everything I'm part of the Akatsuki now!” Akina said as if she were one of them

“Akina get it through your head you're a captive to the Akatsuki, not one of us we just needed you to find out a strategy to sneak back into Konaha!” Yaku shouted “Itachi take her out of here!”

“. . . Yes.” Itachi said and walked to Akina and put chained hand cuffs and ankle braces on her legs and lead her towards the jail cell she'd been staying in for the last few days

After a few minutes of silence Akina got the courage to speak

“Sir how come you take orders from Yaku?” Akina asked trying to start a conversation but not calling Itachi by his full name because there could be dyer consequences if she did, also she didn't know if that was really his name or just a name of disrespect because of what Akina had just seen of Yaku anything was possible

“For many reasons.” Itachi was doing his best to say as least as possible

“Why!” Akina asked

“Uhh, First she's the team leader, next she's the strongest person in the Akatsuki even if she doesn't act like it, thirdly she's a special black ops, and finally the leader thought she was so powerful she had and still does have the chance to be the leader of the Akatsuki but every time he asks she refuses.” Itachi replied saying more than he wanted

“Why does she refuse it, isn't in a honor?” Akina questioned

“She refuses because whoever the leader is has no team and stays here all the time, and also gets every body else to do their dirty work, and finally Yaku loves being a field agent for her to be the leader is for Orochimaru's snake to be stuffed in a bird cage to let it's spirit die until it has no reason to like anymore.” Itachi said obviously getting annoyed

“Oh yeah she's always kind of been like that.” Akina said and then out of no where came “Sir do you like Yaku?”

“Why do ask such a thing?” Itachi said in his usual monotone voice

“I dunno it's just when Yaku was in the village her head was always in a daze, I could tell she was thinking about someone or something, and then she told me that she thought she found `the someone just for her'” Akina said

“Hmp” Itachi mumbled “Here we are get in there!” Itachi said shoving Akina in locking the door and then doing a justsu to take the hand cuffs and the ankle braces to the wall

“Hey you can't just leave me like thins we were having a nice conversation!” Akina cried and she was replied with the slamming and locking of the door

 

AT NIGHT AT THE LAKE

 

“Akina why do you have to be so stubborn?” Yaku said thinking out loud

“Yaku.” Itachi said as he walked up to her and sat down next to her

“How did it go with Akina?” Yaku asked

“It went well, Yaku she said something about you when you were in Konaha.” Itachi mentioned

“I swear to you Itachi if she said something bad about me I'm going to go in there a slit her throat right now!” Yaku said angered at the thought of her friend saying something bad about her

“Don't worry Yaku, all she said was when you were in Konaha any chance you got you were staring into space and she could tell that you were thinking about someone, then she said something really strange she said that you told her you thought you found the `someone just for you'” Itachi said that hole time not making eye contact

“So Itachi what's your point?” Yaku said looking away because she could tell that she was blushing

“My point is, Yaku do you think I am the some one just for you.” Itachi asked with firmness in his voice that made her afraid to answer

 

~Ha I knew it all along~

*Ok then what do you mean I knew it all along*

~What do you think, your life is like a soap opera to me and also it's my favorite one too~

“Yaku, answer me!” Itachi's yelling voice made her come back to reality

“Huh?” Yaku said

“Yaku do you think I'm the someone just for you!?!” Itachi yelled again with a desperate tone is his voice like his life depended on her answer

Another long pause

After a few seconds of a pause Itachi grabbed Yaku and pulled hr into a long deep passionate kiss

“I-Itachi-kun!?!” Yaku stammered confused

“Yaku answer me now! Do you think I'm the some one just for you?” Itachi yelled still holding her in his arms

 

*Itachi-kun*

~Say yes~

*But I know what happens next, he'll hurt me and then I'll get into some other kind of trouble and I'll die, I'm saying no*

~You really are foolish aren't you Yaku, he's the some one just for you~

*No he's not, you're lying*

 

“Yaku!”again Itachi's voice woke her from her daydream

“Yaku am I the some one just for you?” Itachi cried desperately

 

Will Yaku say yes and confess her feelings for Itachi of will she say no and remain ignorant
