“Itachi why do you want to know?” Yaku asked her voice barely a squeak

“Yaku I have a right to know what you think about me.” Itachi said his voice still firm

“Do you really want to know Itachi?” Yaku asked not wanting to tell him

“Yes if I didn't we wouldn't be having this discussion.” Itachi said stubbornly

“Itachi what I think of you is, I think you're the most self arrogant, selfish, pain in the butt, screw with a girls emotions jerk in the world!” Yaku yelled as she broke free of Itachi's strong grip and ran her fastest but Itachi followed her silently without letting Yaku know. Yaku ran about .5 miles and then collapsed against a tree crying

“I screwed up so bad.” She sobbed “Itachi's going to hate me now. Why can't I just tell him how I actually feel?”

“Yaku I'm not mad at you.” Itachi said as he came out of the bushes and sat next to her

“Are you sure?” Yaku said still sobbing

“Why would I be mad, all you did was do what I asked of you, you expressed your true feelings for me.” Itachi said as he took out a small cloth and dabbed away her tears

“Itachi those aren't my true feelings.” Yaku mumbled under her breath

“What?” Itachi said not hearing what she said

“Nothing.” Yaku replied

“Well Yaku I'm going to head back you wanna come?” Itachi asked

“No I'm going to stay here for a while.” Yaku said

“Ok see ya back at the Akatsuki.” Itachi said as he started to leave

Watching him go gave her heart a throb of sever pain

“Itachi I love you, I know you're the someone just for me!” Yaku yelled out of no where

She watched Itachi turn around slowly

“Yaku, do you really mean it?” Itachi said

“With all my heart and soul.” Yaku replied

“Well since you confessed I have to too, Yaku I love you too.” Itachi said not making eye contact

“I-Itachi-kun!?!” Yaku said wearily

“Yaku are you ok?” Itachi asked and at that moment Yaku fell to the ground

“Heh, silly girl, too much excitement for one day.” Itachi said as he sat down and rested his heat against the tree and then set Yaku's head on his lap and stroked her silky black hair through his fingers and kissed her on the cheek “Good night my love.”

 

 

THE NEXT MORNING

 

Yawn “Wow I slept great.” Yaku aid looking up and seeing Itachi asleep with his head against a tree she laid him down and went to find wood, water, and some bird eggs. When she returned Itachi was still asleep and she set up a fire and started to cook the bird eggs.

“Unnggggg.” Itachi rolled over in his sleep

“Morning Itachi-kun!” Yaku said in a cheery voice

“What's burning?” Itachi asked and Yaku turned around to see the eggs she had worked so hard to cook now on fire

“%&#%&$^*! Stupid eggs!” she yelled as she stomped the ground with here foot and her boot caught fire she yanked off her Akatsuki cloak and beat at her foot with it eventually the fire went out after lots of cursing. Itachi had a wild expression on his face as she sat down

“Wow, are you ok.” Itachi asked

“No I'm not ok my foot just caught fire!” Yaku said with a strain of pain through her voice

“Here let me see, take off your boot!” Itachi commanded as he crawled over next to her right foot, the one which had been burned

“That's the problem I can't take it off.” Yaku said complaining

“Listen Yaku, I'm going to take your boot off, at all costs you must not look at the burn ok!” Itachi commanded

“Got it.” Yaku replied closing her eyes, Itachi then quickly ripped the boot off which made Yaku yelp in pain

“You ok.” Itachi asked before he moved on

“I'm fine.” Yaku said fighting back tears

“Oh that's bad.” Itachi said commenting on Yaku's burn

“What's bad?” Yaku said opening here eyes and seeing the wound screamed

 

AT THE AKATSUKI

 

“So what do ya got Akina?” Kisame asked with a poker face

“Four aces.” Akina said grinning and throwing down her cards on the table

“Dang it Akina, how do you beat me every time?” Kisame asked mad that he lost to a girl for the seventh time that half an hour

“Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.” Kisame and Akina both heard Yaku's scream and took off to find their friend

 

IN THE FOREST

 

“Dang it Yaku I told you not to look!” Itachi yelled

“It's not my fault you said something looked bad so I instinctively looked!” Yaku yelled back tears now streaming down her face

“Come on Yaku let's put some bandages on the wound so we can get back to the Akatsuki and get some antibiotics on it.” Itachi said wiping the tears from her face

“No!” Yaku said as she stood up on one leg and tried to run

“Come on Yaku you're only making things harder.” Itachi said standing up and walking next to Yaku

“I don't care I'm not letting you touch my burn!” Yaku yelled and then put her right foot on the ground yelped in pain and began to run in circles around their temporary camp with Itachi running after her

“Yaku you're going to make it bleed more than it already is.” Itachi said chasing after Yaku

“I don't care.” Yaku said still running

“I didn't want to have to do this.” Itachi said as he jumped and tackle Yaku to the ground and turned her over and their eyes meet, then both started blushing as Itachi sat on top of her

“Awww, look at the little love birds!” Akina said as she came out from behind a tree and Kisame came out from behind a bush

“A-Akina, K-Kisame, it's not what it looks like!” Yaku said blushing and stuttering so many times it was funny

“It's true you guys Yaku burned her foot and wouldn't let me put the bandages on.” Itachi stated

“Suuurrrrreeee!” Akina said teasingly giggling

“Um Itachi.” Yaku said still blushing

“Yes Yaku?” Itachi questioned for what she was about to ask or tell him

“You can get off of me now.” Yaku said as she turned a darker shade of red

“Yeah, good idea, if you'll let me bandage your wound.” Itachi said

“Fine.” Yaku said to hungry to care

After Itachi dressed her wound she asked Kisame

“Hey Kisame, I know you always have some extra food in your cloak right?” Yaku asked Kisame to hungry to care about how stupid she seemed

“Yes, why?” Kisame replied

“Can I have some, I skipped dinner and breakfast is the only reason I burnt my foot.” Yaku said limping and holding onto Itachi's shoulder for support

“Don't ask me Akina won all my food on poker.” Kisame said ashamed

“Haha if you want something to eat you're going to have to win in poker Yaku.” Akina said Laughing

“Fine then bring it on!” Yaku shouted

“Yaku do you even know how to play poker?” Akina asked

“Shut up!” came Yaku's reply and every one laughed even Itachi who know had Yaku on his shoulders so they could get back to the Akatsuki faster

Yaku then feel asleep on Itachi's shoulder on the way back home
